The invention relates to the technical field of water-based paint, in particular to water-based environment-friendly steel drum paint and a preparation method thereof, wherein the steel drum paint comprises 20-40 parts of water-based polyester resin, 10-30 parts of deionized water, 0.5-2 parts of water-based defoaming agent, 1-3 parts of neutralizing agent, 10-20 parts of pigment and filler, 3-5 parts of cosolvent, 5-10 parts of amino resin, 0.5-3 parts of water-based surface auxiliary agent, 0.3-0.6 part of water-based leveling agent, 1-3 parts of adhesion promoter and 0.3-1.5 parts of anti-settling agent; the preparation method comprises the following steps: sequentially adding the waterborne polyester resin, the waterborne defoaming agent, the neutralizing agent, the deionized water and the pigment and filler into a cylinder for stirring, and transferring into a sand mill for grinding; slowly adding water-based surface auxiliary agent, water-based flatting agent, adhesion promoter, amino resin, cosolvent and anti-settling agent, filtering and packaging. Technical Field

At present, most of steel barrel paint is oil paint, and the damage to the health of a human body and the environment is great in the using process. The water-based paint can greatly reduce the discharge of VOC and ensure the health of operators.
However, the water-based steel barrel paint on the market at present has the technical problems of poor workability and high VOC (volatile organic compounds) emission; meanwhile, the steel barrel paint is high-temperature baking type baking paint which needs to be baked for 10-20 minutes at the temperature of above 160 ℃, and the general water-based metal paint is self-drying paint, so that the hardness and acid and alkali resistance of the water-based metal paint can not meet the requirements of the steel barrel paint, and the water-based metal paint can not be used for replacing the steel barrel paint.

Further, the aqueous polyester resin is an acrylic modified polyester resin, preferably wakame 821. The acrylic acid modified polyester resin and certain amino are cured and crosslinked, can be crosslinked and cured within a short time (10 minutes), meets the ordered production of a steel drum spraying line, and can improve the acid resistance, alkali resistance and water resistance under the condition of ensuring weather resistance.

the water-based environment-friendly steel drum paint provided by the invention reduces the solvent content of the existing water-based steel drum paint to a great extent, has the advantages of good construction performance, low VOC and the like, and ensures the weather resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance and water resistance of the paint by utilizing the curing and crosslinking action of the acrylic acid modified polyester resin and the amino resin; the addition of the adhesion promoter greatly improves the adhesion of the steel drum paint; the anti-settling agent ensures that a wet film does not flow and hang in the spraying process of the steel drum, and a paint film with uniform film thickness is formed; the matching of the defoaming agent ensures that no bubble, no stable bubble, no paint film shrinkage cavity and other defects exist in the spraying process.
