In the embodiment, under the control of the main control module, the lunch box is automatically conveyed to the second station, namely the rice outlet position in the rice distribution machine, through the detection function of the first lunch box detection sensor and the conveying function of the lunch box conveying device; and through the detection effect of the second meal box detection sensor and the detection effect of the meal quantity detection sensor, the meal outlet device automatically outputs the meal to the meal box at the second station under the condition that the meal box moves to the second station and the meal is contained in the meal distribution machine, so that the full-process automatic operation of the meal distribution machine is realized, the meal distribution efficiency of the meal distribution machine can be efficiently improved, and the meal distribution machine is very convenient for users to use.
