Abstract
The invention discloses a rollable display device, comprising: the flexible display panel comprises two corresponding short side surfaces and two corresponding long side surfaces; the flexible display panel comprises a containing shell, a flexible display panel and a connecting piece, wherein the containing shell is provided with an opening along one short side surface of the flexible display panel, the other short side surface of the flexible display panel is fixedly connected inside the containing shell, and the flexible display panel is relatively rolled into or out of the containing shell through the opening; the flexible wrapping edge is arranged on at least one long side face of the flexible display panel; wherein, be provided with at least one universal ball module in the flexible edge covering. According to the invention, by additionally arranging the flexible wrapping edge and the universal ball module, the friction force generated in the process of rolling the flexible display panel into and out of the accommodating shell can be greatly reduced, the technical problems of blocking, unsmooth movement and the like in the process of rolling in and out are solved, the product quality of the rollable flexible display device is improved, and the service life of the rollable flexible display device is prolonged.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of display, in particular to a flexible display device capable of being curled.
Background
Organic electroluminescent Diode (O L ED) display screens have the advantages of being light, thin, flexible, foldable and curled, and the like, and are currently used for flexible display products such as foldable mobile phones, smart watches, and vehicle-mounted displays.
Fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of a rollable flexible display device in the prior art, in which a partial opening is reserved at the design time of the edge of a flexible display panel 101 and the edge of a receiving shell 102, so that the flexible display panel 101 can be freely rolled in the receiving shell 102, but the poor phenomena of jamming, unsmooth movement and the like often occur in the actually made rollable product, and one of the reasons for the unsmooth movement is that the edge of the flexible interview panel 101 and the receiving shell 102 generate friction resistance during the rolling movement.
To sum up, there are technical problems such as the flexible display panel is stuck, the motion is not smooth in the process of rolling in and out of the storage case in the present rollable display device.
Disclosure of Invention
The embodiment of the invention provides a rollable flexible display device, which is used for solving the technical problems of blockage, unsmooth movement and the like of a flexible display panel in the process of rolling in and out of a containing shell in the conventional rollable display device.
To solve the above problem, in a first aspect, the present invention provides a rollable flexible display device, comprising:
the flexible display panel comprises two corresponding short side surfaces and two corresponding long side surfaces;
the flexible display panel comprises a containing shell, a flexible display panel and a connecting piece, wherein the containing shell is provided with an opening along one short side surface of the flexible display panel, the other short side surface of the flexible display panel is fixedly connected inside the containing shell, and the flexible display panel is relatively rolled into or out of the containing shell through the opening; and
the flexible wrapping edge is arranged on at least one long side face of the flexible display panel;
wherein, be provided with at least one universal ball module in the flexible edge covering.
In some embodiments of the present invention, the material of the flexible covering edge is at least one of polyurethane, polyvinyl chloride or silicic acid gel.

Compared with the conventional rollable flexible display device, the flexible wrapping edge is additionally arranged on at least one side surface of the flexible display panel, the universal ball module is arranged in the flexible wrapping edge, and the friction resistance between the universal ball module and the accommodating shell is extremely small, so that the friction force generated in the process of rolling the flexible display panel into and out of the accommodating shell can be greatly reduced, the technical problems of blockage, unsmooth movement and the like in the process of rolling into and out are solved, the product quality of the rollable flexible display device is improved, and the service life of the rollable flexible display device is prolonged.

The technical solution in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present invention. It is to be understood that the described embodiments are merely exemplary of the invention, and not restrictive of the full scope of the invention. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
In the description of the present invention, it is to be understood that the terms "center", "longitudinal", "lateral", "length", "width", "thickness", "upper", "lower", "front", "rear", "left", "right", "vertical", "horizontal", "top", "bottom", "inner", "outer", "clockwise", "counterclockwise", and the like, indicate orientations and positional relationships based on those shown in the drawings, and are used only for convenience of description and simplicity of description, and do not indicate or imply that the device or element being referred to must have a particular orientation, be constructed and operated in a particular orientation, and thus, should not be considered as limiting the present invention. The prior rollable display device has the technical problems of blockage, unsmooth movement and the like of the flexible display panel in the process of rolling in and out of the storage shell.
Accordingly, embodiments of the present invention provide a rollable display device, which will be described in detail below.
Fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of a rollable flexible display device in an embodiment of the invention, as shown in fig. 2. The rollable flexible display device comprises a flexible display panel 201 comprising two corresponding short sides and two corresponding long sides; a housing 202, wherein the housing 202 has an opening along one of the short side surfaces of the flexible display panel 201, the other short side surface is fixedly connected to the inside of the housing 202, and the flexible display panel 201 is relatively rolled in or out of the housing 202 through the opening; the flexible edge 203 is arranged on at least one long side surface of the flexible display panel 201; wherein, at least one universal ball module 204 is arranged in the flexible edge cover 203.
Compared with the existing flexible display device capable of being curled, the flexible edge 203 is additionally arranged on at least one side surface of the flexible display panel 201, the universal ball module 204 is arranged in the flexible edge 203, and the friction resistance between the universal ball module 204 and the accommodating shell 202 is extremely small, so that the friction force generated in the process of rolling the flexible display panel 201 into and out of the accommodating shell 202 can be greatly reduced, the technical problems of blocking, unsmooth movement and the like in the process of rolling into and out are solved, the product quality of the flexible display device capable of being curled is improved, and the service life of the flexible display device capable of being curled is prolonged.
In addition to the above embodiments, preferably, the material of the flexible covering edge 203 is at least one of Polyurethane (PU), Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or silicic acid gel, and more preferably, the material of the flexible covering edge 203 is silicic acid gel. The flexible edge 203 is made of the flexible material, so that stress generated by accidental impact can be absorbed, and the flexible display panel 201 is prevented from being damaged.
In the above embodiment, the flexible covering edge 203 is only disposed on one of the long sides of the flexible display panel 201, and in another embodiment of the present invention, the flexible covering edge 203 is further disposed on the other long side of the flexible display panel 201, so that the protection effect of disposing the covering edges on both sides is more excellent. The thickness (D1) of the flexible edge cover 203 is larger than the thickness (D2) of the flexible display panel 201, D1 > D2, the flexible edge cover 203 arranged at two sides can isolate the flexible display panel 201 from colliding with the side wall of the opening of the storage case 202, the flexible display panel 201 is positioned at the middle position of the flexible edge cover 203 by increasing the thickness D1 of the flexible edge cover 203, and the flexible display panel 201 can be prevented from colliding with the top surface and the bottom surface of the opening of the storage case 202 when being rolled in and out.
Fig. 3A to 3B are partial schematic views of a rollable flexible display device according to an embodiment of the present invention, where fig. 3A is a partial perspective view and fig. 3B is a partial sectional view. When the rollable flexible display device has a plurality of the universal ball modules 204, the plurality of the universal ball modules 204 are distributed at equal intervals. Similarly, in some embodiments, a plurality of the universal ball modules 204 are spaced apart on one side of the flexible display panel 201, and in other embodiments, a plurality of the universal ball modules 204 are spaced apart on both sides of the flexible display panel 201.
As shown in fig. 4, fig. 4 is a schematic structural diagram of a gimbaled ball module according to an embodiment of the present invention. Each of the ball gimbal modules 204 includes a main sphere 2041 and a plurality of small spheres 2042, and the small spheres 2042 surround the main sphere 2041. Preferably, the main sphere 2041 and the small sphere 2042 are made of carbon steel, carbon steel galvanized steel, bearing steel, steel or plastic steel. In practical production, the main sphere 2041 and the plurality of small spheres 2042 are made of the same material for convenience of processing. If special requirements exist, the material can also be made of different materials.
As shown in fig. 4, the main sphere 2041 is at least partially exposed from the flexible rim 203, and the small spheres 2042 are all disposed between the main sphere 2041 and the flexible rim 203. The small sphere 2042 keeps a rolling state when being rolled in and out, and the friction force between the main sphere 2041 and the flexible wrapping edge 203 is greatly reduced because the rolling friction force is far smaller than the sliding friction force.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the receiving case 202 includes a sliding rail therein, and the sliding rail is disposed on a side wall of the opening. The sliding track can play a role in guiding and positioning, the sliding track is opposite to the flexible covered edge 203 and has a certain distance, and when the flexible covered edge 203 is rolled in and rolled out, the sliding track is contacted with the flexible covered edge 203 through the universal ball module 204. The distance is just equal to the width of the part of the universal ball module 204, which is exposed out of the flexible edge cover 203, and the main ball 2041 and the small ball 2042 can keep a rolling state when being rolled in and out, and meanwhile, the flexible display panel 201 is tightly attached to the flexible edge cover 203, so that the friction between the flexible display panel 201 and the accommodating shell 202 when being rolled in and out is greatly reduced, and a plurality of structures with positioning and guiding functions are additionally arranged, so that the flexible display panel 201 can be protected from being collided and impacted with the accommodating shell 202 to damage the flexible display panel 201.
Fig. 5A to 5C are schematic diagrams illustrating a roll-out process of a rollable flexible display device according to an embodiment of the present invention, where fig. 5A is a completely rolled-in state, fig. 5B is a partially rolled-out state, and fig. 5C is a completely rolled-out state. The rollable flexible display device can enable the flexible display panel 201 to be smoothly and freely pulled from the fully rolled-in state to the fully rolled-out state under the action of external force. When the flexible display device capable of being rolled is in a completely rolled state, the occupied space is small, and the flexible display device is convenient to carry; when the film is in a complete rolling-out state, application scenes such as full-screen film watching and split-screen display can be realized; when the terminal is in a partial rolling-out state, the operation of reading instant messages, inquiring time and weather information and the like with less information amount can be realized. The technical problems that the rollable display device is blocked and runs unsmoothly when being rolled out and rolled in are solved, and diversification of the rollable display device on an application scene can be really realized.

Claims (10)
1. A rollable flexible display device, comprising:
the flexible display panel comprises two corresponding short side surfaces and two corresponding long side surfaces;
the flexible display panel comprises a containing shell, a flexible display panel and a connecting piece, wherein the containing shell is provided with an opening along one short side surface of the flexible display panel, the other short side surface of the flexible display panel is fixedly connected inside the containing shell, and the flexible display panel is relatively rolled into or out of the containing shell through the opening; and
the flexible wrapping edge is arranged on at least one long side face of the flexible display panel;
wherein, be provided with at least one universal ball module in the flexible edge covering.
2. The rollable flexible display device of claim 1, wherein the flexible rim is made of at least one of polyurethane, polyvinyl chloride, or silicic acid gel.
3. The rollable flexible display device of claim 1, wherein the flexible hem is further provided to the other long side of the flexible display panel.
4. The rollable flexible display device of claim 1, wherein the thickness of the flexible rim is greater than the thickness of the flexible display panel.
5. The rollable flexible display device of claim 1, wherein when there are a plurality of the universal ball modules, the plurality of universal ball modules are spaced at equal intervals.
6. The rollable flexible display device of claim 1, wherein each of the gimbaled ball modules comprises a main ball and a plurality of small balls disposed around the main ball.
7. The rollable flexible display device of claim 6, wherein the main sphere is at least partially exposed by the flexible rim, and a plurality of the small spheres are all disposed between the main sphere and the flexible rim.
8. A rollable flexible display device according to claim 6, wherein the material of the main spheres and the small spheres is carbon steel, carbon steel galvanised, bearing steel, steel or plastic steel.
9. The rollable flexible display device of claim 1, including a slide rail within the receptacle, the slide rail disposed on a sidewall of the opening.
10. The rollable flexible display device of claim 9, wherein the sliding rail is opposite the flexible rim, and the flexible rim contacts the sliding rail through the universal ball module when rolled out.
