Example 1:
FIG. 1 is a schematic flow diagram of a method of one embodiment of the invention.
As shown in fig. 1, the method 100 includes:
and step 110, connecting each NIC port on the server to be tested with an external network through a network cable respectively.
In this embodiment, taking a server a to be tested as an example, two NIC ports, namely, NIC port 1 and NIC port 2, are integrated on the server a to be tested, where the NIC port 1 and the NIC port 2 are a 1G NIC port and a 10G NIC port in sequence, the NIC port 1 is connected to a Lab network (which has low requirement on network conditions in the present invention and can meet the requirement by selecting a laboratory network) through a CAT5e cable, and the NIC port 2 is connected to the Lab network through a CAT6a cable.
And step 120, installing a Windows operating system in the server to be tested. Step 130 is then performed.
And step 130, recording the connection speed of each NIC port on the server to be tested under the Windows operating system. In step S3, the following methods are respectively adopted to record the connection rate of each NIC port on the server to be tested:
step S31: configuring a TCP/IP address for an NIC port;
step S32: enabling the local connection of the NIC port with the TCP/IP address configured in the step S31;
step S33: and recording the connection rate of the NIC port in the local connection state.
Specifically, for the server a to be tested, the above-mentioned methods are respectively adopted in step 130 to record the connection rates of the NIC port 1 and the NIC port 2 on the server a to be tested. For more clarity, the NIC port 1 is taken as an example to be described below, and specifically, the method for recording the connection rate of the NIC port 1 on the server a to be tested in step 130 includes the following steps:
step P1: the NIC port 1 is configured with a TCP/IP address. Step P2 is then performed.
Step P2: the local connection of NIC port 1 is enabled. Step P3 is then performed.
Step P3: the connection rate in the local connection state of the NIC port 1 is recorded.
As shown in fig. 2, the local connection state of the NIC port 1 in the server under test under Windows under "control panel- > network and Internet- > network connection" is shown, and as can be seen from fig. 2, the connection rate recorded in step P3 in the local connection state of the NIC port 1 is 100.0 Mbps.
In the same manner, the connection rate in the local connection state to the NIC port 2 is recorded as 110.0 Mbps.
Step 140, determining whether the NIC function of the server to be tested is good according to the connection rate recorded in step 130.
The step 140 specifically includes a step Q1-a step Q2.
Step Q1: according to the connection rate of the NIC port recorded in step 130, it is correspondingly determined whether the recorded connection rate of each NIC port on the test server reaches the standard value of the network port rate corresponding thereto, and the determination result corresponding to each NIC port is recorded.
Taking the example that the standard value of the network port rate corresponding to the NIC port 1 on the server a to be tested is V1 ═ 100.0Mbps, and the standard value of the network port rate corresponding to the NIC port 2 is V2 ═ 100.0Mbps, the connection rate of the NIC port 1 on the server a to be tested 100.0Mbps reaches V1, and the connection rate of the NIC port 2 is 110.0Mbps reaches V2.
Step Q2: and judging whether all the judgment results recorded in the step Q1 reach the respective corresponding standard values of the network port speed, if so, judging that the NIC of the server to be tested has good functions, otherwise, judging that the NIC of the server to be tested has poor functions.
The connection speed of the NIC port 1 and the NIC port 2 on the server A to be tested reaches the respective corresponding standard value of the network port speed, the NIC of the server A to be tested is judged to have good function, and the compatibility of the server to be tested and the network card thereof is good at the moment.
If one of the connection rates of the NIC port 1 and the NIC port 2 on the server A to be tested does not reach the corresponding standard value of the network port rate, the NIC function of the server A to be tested is judged to be poor, and the compatibility of the server A to be tested and the network card thereof is poor.
So far, the test is finished.
And after the test is finished, storing the test result in a test log.
Therefore, the method for testing the NIC function of the server can judge whether the NIC function of the server to be tested is good or not through the recorded connection speed of each NIC port of the server to be tested in the local connection state under Windows, and a network card performance test script aiming at a network card in the server does not need to be compiled in the whole test process, so that the method is widely applicable to the server to be tested, saves the compiling time of the network card performance test script, and improves the test efficiency to a certain extent.
Therefore, the method 100 is helpful to find the problem in the compatibility of the server to be tested and the network card thereof, thereby ensuring the normal function of the server product and improving the quality of the server product.
In addition, when the method 100 is used, each NIC port on the server to be tested may be connected to an external network through a network cable, which is helpful for remotely implementing the remote test of the NIC function of the server to be tested.
Example 2:
fig. 3 is another embodiment of the method for testing the NIC function of the server according to the present invention.
As shown in fig. 3, the difference between this embodiment and embodiment 1 is that the method for testing the NIC function of the server in this embodiment further includes step 123 between step 120 and step 130:
restarting the server to be tested, verifying whether all NIC ports of the server to be tested are all present in the BIOS of the server to be tested in the restarting process of the server to be tested, and if all NIC ports of the server to be tested are present in the BIOS of the server to be tested, setting each NIC port of the server to be started in the BIOS of the server to be tested.
In step 123, if it is verified that all NIC ports of the server under test do not appear in the BIOS of the server under test, the test is ended.
The use of step 123 ensures that the media states corresponding to the NIC ports in the BIOS of the server to be tested are all enabled when the server to be tested is tested, thereby being helpful to improve the reliability of the test result to a certain extent.
The same and similar parts in the various embodiments in this specification may be referred to each other.
