Background
The electric water heater is a water heater which takes electricity as energy source for heating, and in the using process, as the water flowing in the water heater is directly contacted with a human body, once electricity leaks, the electricity can pass through the human body through the transmission of the water flowing in the water heater, so that the life safety of the human body is threatened due to the electricity leakage. Although the electric water heater is provided with insulation protection, when the insulation is damaged due to aging or other reasons, the electric water heater also has the risk of electric leakage.
At present, the electric water heater is protected against electric shock by water resistance (electricity-proof wall), and a ground wire live indicator lamp is used to form a loop with the wall ground, and the indicator lamp is turned on to remind the user of electric leakage of the machine. However, the grounding system of the power grid of China's family generally has the condition of lacking the ground wire or the virtual connection of the ground wire, the electric leakage of the electric water heater can be divided into two types of insulation failure of the electric water heater and reverse electrification of the ground wire, and the technology can not distinguish whether the electric leakage of the electric water heater is caused by the electrification of the environment or the electric leakage of the electric water heater per se, so that bad experience exists.
