The embodiment of the invention can help the user to be familiar with different versions of the application program by simultaneously displaying the operation interfaces of different versions of the target application program, is favorable for shortening the adaptation process of the user to the application of the new version, and improves the user experience.
Specifically, the step 12 may include:
responding to the first input, and displaying the first operation interface and the second operation interface on a display screen of the electronic equipment in a split screen mode; or
In the case where the electronic device includes at least two display screens, step 12 may include:
in response to the first input, displaying a first operation interface of the first version of the target application on a first display screen, and displaying a second operation interface of the second version of the target application on a second display screen.
In the above embodiment, when the electronic device has one display screen, the first area and the second area may be different areas of the same display screen, for example, a top-bottom split screen or a left-right split screen; in the case that the electronic device includes at least a first display screen and a second display screen, the first region may be located in a display area of the first display screen, and the second region may be located in a display area of the second display screen. Therefore, the user can freely select the first operation interface of the first version of the target application and the second operation interface of the second version of the target application to be displayed on the upper screen, the lower screen, the left screen and the right screen or to be displayed on two different screens according to the use preference of the user. In fig. 2, a left screen and a right screen are exemplarily illustrated, where the left screen part shows an operation interface of a new version of application (new version of APP), and the right screen part shows an operation interface of an old version of application (old version of APP).
Optionally, as in fig. 3, after the step 12, the method may further include:
step 13: receiving a second input of a first control of the first operation interface;
in this step, the first control may indicate a function in the first version of the target application. The manner of the second input may include, but is not limited to, operations such as click input, press input, touch input, or slide input, which is determined according to actual usage requirements, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited thereto.
Step 14: in response to the second input, displaying a first responsive interface associated with the first control in the first version in the first area, demonstrating a difference between the second version and the first version in the second area.
In this step, the second input of the user to the first control on the first operation interface is an actual operation, and no matter whether the second input of the actual operation is applied in a new version or an old version, as long as the second input is performed on the first control on the first operation interface, the first response interface associated with the first control is displayed in the first area, and the difference between the first version and the second version is shown on the second operation interface.
The demonstration of the difference between the first version and the second version can be used for prompting the user to realize the operation difference corresponding to the function indicated by the first control between the first version and the second version of the target application, or the information such as the function difference or the function details between the first version and the second version.
In the above embodiment, the second input to the first control of the first operation interface is received; in response to the second input, simultaneously displaying a first responsive interface associated with the first control in the first version in the first area, demonstrating a difference between the second version and the first version in the second area. The difference between the second version and the first version is demonstrated, and the information such as the operation difference corresponding to the function indicated by the first control can be prompted between the first version and the second version of the target application of the user, or the function difference or the function details between the first version and the second version can be prompted, so that the user can be assisted to be familiar with the operation interface, the operation mode and the function change of different versions of the target application, the adaptation process of the user to the new version application can be shortened, the use efficiency and the user experience of the user to the new version application can be improved, and the problem that the user is difficult to adapt to the new version application due to the fact that the change is large after the application is updated and the operation mode is diverse is newly added is solved.
Specifically, in the step 14, the step of demonstrating the difference between the second version and the first version in the second area includes: and displaying a guide animation in the second area, wherein the guide animation is used for dynamically showing and simulating the operation process of the second version of the target application.
In the implementation, when a second input to the first control of the first operation interface is received, the operation process of the target application of the second version is dynamically simulated in the second area through the guide animation, the simulated operation process of the target application of the second version is displayed, the user is assisted to know the difference of different versions of the target application in page effect and operation, and when the application is changed greatly after updating and the operation mode is increased more, the user can be assisted to be familiar with the application of the new version efficiently and conveniently through the embodiment, and the user experience is improved.
Optionally, based on the foregoing embodiment, the method further includes:
displaying a second control;
receiving a third input to the second control;
in response to the third input, the boot animation is replayed.
In this embodiment, the second control is used to instruct the user to trigger the playback of the guidance animation, and when the user needs to relearn the operation process of the dynamically simulated target application of the second version in the guidance animation, a third input may be selected to be made to the second control, so as to implement the re-viewing of the guidance animation. Therefore, the user can repeatedly learn information such as the icon state, the display position and the corresponding operation process of the second control, the user experience is improved, and the adaptation process of the user to different versions of the target application is shortened. The third input includes, but is not limited to, operations such as a click input, a press input, a touch input, or a slide input, which are determined according to actual usage requirements, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited.
Specifically, in step 14, the step of demonstrating the difference between the second version and the first version in the second area may include the following cases:
the first condition is as follows: the second operation interface comprises a third control, and the function indicated by the third control is the same as the function indicated by the first control;
in this case, the step of demonstrating in the second area the difference between the second version and the first version comprises:
simulating a fourth input of the third control by the user;
in response to the fourth input, displaying a second responsive interface in the second version associated with the third control in the second area.
The first operation interface and the second operation interface which are displayed simultaneously are respectively the associated display operation interfaces of the first version and the second version of the running target application, and before the second input of the first control of the first operation interface is received, the second operation interface comprises a third control with the same function as the first control. The fourth input mode may include, but is not limited to, operations such as click input, press input, touch input, or slide input, which are determined according to actual usage requirements, and embodiments of the present invention are not limited thereto.
Specifically, two operation interfaces are displayed on the left and right split screens shown in fig. 2 as an example.
For example, when the user operates the old application on the right screen, for example, clicking a certain option (the first control) triggers the old application to jump from the a interface to the B interface, while clicking the first control: if a third control element is displayed in the new application version of the left screen and the function indicated by the third control element is the same as the function indicated by the first control element, performing preset operation on the third control element in the left screen simulation to show that the same function effect is realized in the new application version, the position of the third control element required to be clicked by the user or the operation required to be executed by the user clearly shows the interface position required to be clicked by the user, the operation mode and the page conversion effect.
For another example, when the user operates the new version of the application on the left screen, for example, clicking a certain option (the first control) triggers the new version of the application to jump from the E interface to the F interface, while clicking the first control: if the old right screen application has the third control element and the function indicated by the third control element is the same as the function indicated by the first control element, displaying the position of the third control element required to be clicked by the user or the operation required to be executed by the user in the form of simulation operation in the right screen to realize the same function effect, and explicitly showing the interface position required to be clicked by the user, the operation mode and the page conversion effect.
In the above exemplary embodiment, the user can freely operate the new application on the left screen or the old application on the right screen, and both the operations are actual operations, and no matter whether the user operates the new application or the old application of the target application, as long as the operation has the same function in the application of the other version, the function option (third control) corresponding to the other version and the change jump of the operation page are triggered.
In the embodiment, in the case that the same function exists in the versions before and after the update of the target application, but the icons, or the display positions, the operation modes and other contents of the third control corresponding to the function are different in the application versions before and after the update, the embodiment can assist the user to become familiar with and understand the operation difference and the interface difference of the target application before and after the update of the same function, and through comparison and learning, the user can clearly grasp the operation difference of the new version application, so that the user can adapt to the new version application more quickly, and the user experience and the application use efficiency are improved.
Case two: the second operation interface does not comprise a control with the same function as the first control;
in this case, the following demonstration modes can be performed according to specific situations:
mode 1:
the step of demonstrating in the second area the difference between the second version and the first version comprises:
displaying a third operation interface in the second area, wherein the third operation interface is the operation interface of the second version, the third operation interface comprises a fourth control, and the function indicated by the fourth control is the same as the function indicated by the first control;
simulating a fifth input of the fourth control by the user;
in response to the fifth input, displaying a third responsive interface associated with the fourth control in the second version in the second area.
In the case that the second operation interface currently displayed in this embodiment does not include a control having the same function as the first control, it may be that the function indicated by the first control exists in the second version, but the operation path is changed, so that the operation entry (control) is placed in another operation interface. Specifically, in this embodiment, the operation path of the function may be obtained by analyzing the configuration file, and the display position of the fourth control is obtained, so that the electronic device can automatically display the third operation interface. And further simulating and demonstrating a preset operation (fifth input) required to be executed when the user actually uses the fourth control in the third operation interface, and displaying a third response interface associated with the fourth control. The fifth input mode may include, but is not limited to, operations such as click input, press input, touch input, or slide input, which are determined according to actual usage requirements, and embodiments of the present invention are not limited thereto.
Therefore, the user can conveniently learn and master the operation difference of the first control and the fourth control with the same functions in the first version and the second version of the target application by watching the simulation operation process for displaying the third operation interface, the simulation operation for the fourth control and the third response interface, the learning efficiency of the user is improved, and the use experience of the user is improved.
Mode 2:
the step of demonstrating the difference between the second version and the first version in the second area comprises:
displaying the first prompt message;
wherein the first prompt message is used for prompting the user to distinguish between the first version and the second version.
Specifically, when the first version is an updated version of the second version, the first prompt information includes first information, where the first information is used to indicate that the function indicated by the first control is an added function in the first version;
specifically, in a case that the second version is an updated version of the first version, the first prompt information includes second information, and the second information is used to indicate that the function indicated by the first control has been removed in the second version.
In the above embodiment, the first information or the second information displayed in the second area can help the user to know the difference between the first version and the second version of the function indicated by the first control, which helps the user to become familiar with the update condition of the target application more quickly.
Mode 3:
the second version is an updated version of the first version, the second operation interface does not comprise a control with the same function as the first control,
the step of demonstrating in the second area the difference between the second version and the first version comprises:
displaying a fifth control;
receiving a sixth input of the fifth control by the user;
responding to the sixth input, and displaying an operation instruction and/or an operation video corresponding to the first function in the second version; wherein the first functionality is the same as or similar to the first version of functionality indicated by the first control.
In the above embodiment, when the function indicated by the first control is removed from the new version of application, and if it is determined that the first function of the same type or similar to the function of the first version indicated by the first control exists in the new version of application, the fifth control is provided by displaying, so that a user can display an operation description and/or an operation video corresponding to the first function in the new version of application in the second area through input to the fifth control, and help the user to quickly learn the operation method and the operation flow of the first function. The sixth input mode may include, but is not limited to, operations such as click input, press input, touch input, or slide input, which are determined according to actual usage requirements, and embodiments of the present invention are not limited thereto.
Wherein, the functions with the same or similar types can comprise: functions similar in function, similar in operation path, or other functions under the same directory, etc. For example, a route navigation function in an old application and a panorama navigation function in a new application may be the same type of function.
It should be noted that, the way of determining whether the first function of the same type as the function indicated by the first control exists in the new version of application may include the following ways:
(1) by collecting data including, but not limited to, user feedback, operator added information, application version update introductions, and the like; (2) by analyzing the operation flow of the user, for example, the operation paths are similar or other functions in the same directory.
Optionally, in an optional embodiment of the present invention, the second version is an updated version of the first version, and the method further includes:
receiving a seventh input of the user;
in response to the seventh input, installing the second version of the target application while preserving the first version of the target application.
For example, as shown in fig. 4, as an implementation manner, when the user updates the target application in the application store, a second selection button (as shown in fig. 4, a retention original option) for reminding the user to trigger retention of the pre-update version of the target application is displayed on the user interface of the user updating the target application; upon detecting a seventh user input to the second selection button, while the second version of the target application is installed, retaining the first version of the target application.
For example, as another implementation manner, when an update operation of a user for a target application is detected, a second version of the target application is installed in an electronic device by default, and a first version of the target application is retained at the same time; wherein the second version is an updated version of the first version.
In this embodiment, by simultaneously reserving two versions (a first version and a second version) before and after updating corresponding to a target application in an electronic device, the first version and the second version of the target application can be simultaneously run in the electronic device, so that a first operation interface in which the first version of the target application runs and a second operation interface in which the second version of the target application runs are respectively displayed on a display screen of the electronic device, a user can freely operate an operation interface corresponding to one of the first version and the second version, and a differential demonstration process of the first version and the second version is displayed on another operation interface which is not operated.
Based on the above embodiment, after the step of installing the second version of the target application while preserving the first version of the target application in response to the seventh input, the method further comprises:
receiving an eighth input of the user;
in response to the eighth input, removing the first version of the target application from the electronic device.
In this embodiment, when the second version is an updated version of the first version, and the user does not need the old version of the application (first version) corresponding to the target application to assist in learning the updated application version (second version), the old version of the application before being updated may be deleted.
Optionally, the second version is an updated version of the first version, and the method further includes;
receiving a ninth input of the user;
and in response to the ninth input, replacing the function operation interfaces of the second version of the target application with the function operation interfaces of the first version.
In the embodiment, after the user uses the old version application to assist in learning the updated application version, if the user still cannot master and adapt to the operation of the new version application, the user can select the personalized setting of the function coverage, and replace the function operation interface in the updated version application with the function operation interface of the old version application before updating, so that the user can conveniently use the function operation interface, and the user is prevented from giving up using the target application and losing the user due to the fact that the user does not adapt to the updated application version.
The manner of the seventh input, the eighth input, and the ninth input may include, but is not limited to, operations such as click input, press input, touch input, or slide input, which are determined according to actual usage requirements, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited thereto.
In the above scheme of the invention, the user can be assisted to know the difference of different versions of the target application in the aspects of page effect, operation and the like by simultaneously displaying the operation interfaces which are associated with each other and are of different versions of the target application, so that the user can be assisted to be familiar with unfamiliar application versions by using the application versions which are familiar to the user. On one hand, the method can help the user to be familiar with the function operation method, the function interface and the function details of the new version application more conveniently and efficiently so that the user can master the required common functions, know the newly added functions of the new version application, reduce the time cost for adapting to the updated version application and improve the user experience; on the other hand, the situation that the user runs off due to the fact that the user does not adapt to the operation of the new version application and abandons the use of the new version application to select other applications of the same type after the application is subjected to large function upgrading and page optimization can be avoided to a certain extent.
In addition, the application interface display method can also be applied to scenes such as version upgrading of a mobile phone operating system or application scenes such as upgrading of various functions, software, settings and the like of the system so as to help and guide a user to adapt to a new version system.
As shown in fig. 5, an embodiment of the present invention further provides an electronic device 500, including:
