Detailed Description
The terms "first," "second," and the like, as may be used in the following description, are not intended to limit any order, but merely to distinguish between various separate components, features, structures, elements, and the like, that may be the same, similar, or different. Meanwhile, descriptions about orientations such as "upper", "lower", "inner", "outer", "left", "right", "radial", "axial", and the like may be used in the following description, unless explicitly stated, are merely for convenience of description, and do not form any limitation on the technical solution of the present invention.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of an apparatus for dispensing liquid from a container 80 according to the present invention. In the present invention, the "container" is used to describe broadly a container suitable for storing liquid, including sealed and non-sealed containers, and may be in various shapes of a can, a tub, a box, a bottle, and the like. The device according to the invention, also called "liquid dispensing device", is used to withdraw a metered quantity of liquid from a container.
As shown, the liquid dispensing device comprises a pressure pump 10 adapted to power the flow of liquid, which may be selected according to the requirements of the application etc., e.g. a pressure pump powered by means of an air compressor etc. The inlet of the pressure pump 10 is connected to the extraction tube 20, and the extraction tube 20 extends into the container 80, so that the liquid in the container is extracted through the extraction tube by the pressure pump. The outlet of the pressure pump 10 is connected to a delivery pipe 90 to output the liquid extracted from the container. The piping of the delivery pipe 90 may be provided with, for example, a valve which, in addition to controlling the opening and closing of the delivery flow path, may be provided in conjunction with the pressure pump so that the pressure pump is started while the flow path is open and stopped while the flow path is closed.
The extraction tube 20 is provided in fig. 1 as a continuous conduit having an input end 22 and an output end 21 at its two ends, wherein the input end 22 is adapted to extend into the inner cavity of the container 80 and the output end 21 is adapted to be connected to the inlet of the pressure pump 10 for extracting liquid from the container under the driving of the pressure pump. The input end 22 is provided with another opening as a second input port 24 at a distance from the end in addition to the port at the end as a first input port 23. After the extraction tube is in place in the container 80, the first inlet 23 is located at a position h1 in the container that is almost adjacent to the bottom of the tank, allowing extraction of almost all of the available liquid in the container, while the second inlet 24 has a higher level in the container than the first inlet 23 at a position h 2. The position of the second inlet 24 is set to correspond to a situation where the liquid surplus in the vessel is already small and ready for feeding.
During normal liquid dispensing, when the liquid level in the container 80 is higher than the position h2 of the second inlet, liquid can enter the extraction tube 20 from both the first inlet 23 and the second inlet 24. As less liquid is present in the container, and the liquid level is below the level h2 of the second inlet, liquid enters the extraction tube only from the first inlet 23, and a large amount of air is drawn in from the second inlet 24. This results in a significant reduction in liquid flow from the outlet conduit 90 and an audible sound due to the intake of air from the second inlet port, thereby simultaneously providing a visual and audible alarm of insufficient material remaining to alert the operator to the readiness for replenishing.
Fig. 2 is a schematic view of another embodiment of a liquid dispensing device according to the invention, differing from the liquid dispensing device of fig. 1 mainly in the modification of the extraction duct. Specifically, the extraction pipe is composed of a main pipe 30 and a branch pipe 40, wherein one end of the main pipe 30 is connected to an inlet of the pressure pump 10, and the other end is formed as the first input port 23, and one end of the branch pipe 40 communicates with the main pipe 30, and the other end is formed as the second input port 24. The main pipe 30 and the branch pipes 40 may be provided as an integral piece, or may be formed by connecting the branch pipes to the main pipe after being formed separately. Compared with the case that the second input port is directly formed in the side wall of the extraction pipe in fig. 1, the extraction pipe in fig. 2 adopts the branch pipe 40, so that stress concentration of the extraction pipe caused by the opening formed in the side wall can be reduced, and the pipe body strength is better.
Fig. 3 is a schematic view of another embodiment of a liquid dispensing device according to the present invention, with further modifications to the extraction tube. Specifically, the extraction pipe includes a main pipe 30, a first branch pipe 40, and a second branch pipe 50, wherein one end of the main pipe 30 is connected to an inlet of the pressure pump 10, and the other end is connected to a pipe joint 60, and the first branch pipe 40 and the second branch pipe 50 are arranged in parallel and connected to the main pipe through the common pipe joint 60. Wherein one end of the first branch pipe 40 is connected with the pipe joint 60, the other end is formed as the first input port 23, one end of the second branch pipe 50 is connected with the pipe joint 60, and the other end is formed as the second input port 24. The main pipe 30, the first branch pipe 40 and the second branch pipe 50 according to the present embodiment are connected to the pipe joint 60, for example, by plugging, so that selection can be made in use to meet the use requirements of containers with different depths.
Fig. 4 is a schematic view of another embodiment of a liquid dispensing device according to the present invention with further modifications to the extraction tube. Specifically, the extraction pipe includes a main pipe 30, a first branch pipe 40, and a second branch pipe 50, wherein one end of the main pipe 30 is connected to an inlet of the pressure pump 10, and the other end is connected to a pipe joint 60, and the second branch pipe 50 is fitted over the first branch pipe 40 and is commonly connected to the pipe joint 60 to communicate with the main pipe 30. The free end of the first branch pipe 40 forms a first inlet 23, the end of the second branch pipe 50 forms a second inlet 24, and a gap is left between the first branch pipe 40 and the second branch pipe 50 to form a passage for liquid or gas to flow through.
Fig. 5 is a schematic view of another embodiment of a liquid dispensing device according to the present invention with further modifications to the extraction tube. Specifically, the input end of the liquid distributor extraction tube includes three input ports: a first input port at the distal end, a second input port having a higher fluid level than the first input port, and a third input port having a higher fluid level than the second input port.
The position h1 of the first input port in the container is almost proximate the bottom of the tank after the extraction tube is in place in the container, thereby allowing extraction of almost all of the liquid in the container. As the liquid in the container becomes less and less, when the liquid level is lower than the position h2 of the second inlet, the liquid enters the extraction tube only from the first inlet and the third inlet, and simultaneously enters a large amount of air from the second inlet. This results in a significant reduction in the flow from the delivery line and an audible sound due to the intake of air from the second inlet, which gives both a visual and audible alarm of insufficient material remaining, alerting the operator to prepare the feed.
When the liquid in the container is further reduced to a position lower than the third inlet, the liquid enters the extraction tube only from the first inlet, and simultaneously enters a large amount of air from the second inlet and the third inlet. This results in a further reduction in the flow from the takeoff pipe and a greater sound due to the suction of air from the second and third inlet ports, thus alerting the operator to the need for replenishment as soon as possible, thereby simultaneously giving a visual and audible alarm of a serious shortage of excess material.
The extraction pipe shown in fig. 5 allows for multi-level warning of the degree of residue in the container by arranging a plurality of input ports at different liquid levels, which is convenient for an operator to grasp the amount of liquid remaining in the container. Advantageously, in addition to the three inlet configurations shown in the figures, further inlets may be provided as desired. In addition, the input ports may be configured to have different apertures to allow for different flow rates and audible alarms at different fluid levels.
Fig. 6 is a schematic view of another embodiment of a liquid dispensing device according to the present invention with further modifications to the extraction tube. In comparison with the embodiment shown in fig. 5, in addition to the first inlet 23 at the end of the extraction tube, other inlets having a higher liquid level are not provided directly on the body of the extraction tube, but instead are provided at the ends of the branch tubes extending from the body of the main tube. Specifically, the extraction pipe is composed of a main pipe 30, a first branch pipe 40, and a second branch pipe 50, one end of the main pipe 30 being connected to the inlet of the pressure pump 10 and the other end thereof being formed as the first input port 23, one end of the first branch pipe 40 being connected to the main pipe 30 and the other end thereof being formed as the second input port 24, and one end of the second branch pipe 50 being communicated to the main pipe 30 and the other end thereof being formed as the third input port 25.
The foregoing merely describes exemplary embodiments of the spirit and principles of the present invention. It will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that changes may be made in the described examples without departing from the principles and spirit thereof, and that such changes are contemplated by the inventors and are within the scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims.
