Description

Device for extruding and heating shrink sleeves
Technical Field
The invention relates to a device for pressing and heating shrink sleeves, into which one end of a self-hair strand is inserted at one sleeve end and one end of an extraneous hair strand is inserted at the other sleeve end for hair extension, wherein a hot melt adhesive is present inside the sleeve.
Background
It is known to achieve hair extension (lengthening) by means of a sleeve made of shrinkable plastic into which one end of a bundle of hair and one end of a bundle of extraneous hair are inserted so as to be connected to each other inside the sleeve by an adhesive. Here, the pressing together of the sleeve in the adhesive area is effected by the hand by rolling the sleeve between two fingers. Such a way of working is time consuming and laborious and leads to results that are not as accurate.
Disclosure of Invention
The aim of the invention is to create a device which makes it possible to significantly reduce the effort required for lengthening the hair itself.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the device has two clamping jaws, between which the shrink sleeve is received and is deformed by pressure and heat, and at least one of the clamping jaws has a heating element.
With such a device, hair extension is achieved with a constant accuracy with little effort and in a minimum of time.
Preferably, it is provided that the clamping surface of at least one clamping jaw has at least one recess and/or at least one projection, by means of which the shrink sleeve and the hot melt adhesive are deformed. This achieves that, after the hot-melt glue and the sleeve have cooled down, an optimum shape of the sleeve is achieved in such a way that the diameters of both ends decrease. An optimized distribution of the hot melt adhesive inside the shrink sleeve is thereby achieved. An optimized deformation of the shrink sleeve into a shape with tapering ends and a slight thickening in the middle region is also achieved.
It is particularly advantageous here if the recesses and/or the projections are shaped and/or arranged such that, on the outside of the shrink sleeve, less pressure is exerted in the middle region of the shrink sleeve than in the regions closer to the two shrink sleeve ends.
Preferably, it is provided that each clamping jaw is arranged at the end of a two-armed lever and that the two levers are fastened to one another by means of a joint. The two-arm levers can be articulated to one another in such a way that the clamping jaws are moved away from one another when the lever ends remote from the clamping jaws are pressed toward one another.
It is also advantageous here to arrange spring elements on the levers, by means of which the clamping jaws are pressed toward one another. The spring force is preferably adjustable here.
An effective mode of operation is achieved when the clamping jaws have two or more receiving points for the shrink sleeve, which are arranged parallel to one another.
When the heating element generates heat by ultrasonic waves, rapid and safe heating is achieved. Preferably, at least one of the clamping jaws has at least one opening or hole, which ends in the shrink sleeve and via which the hot melt adhesive can be influenced. The flow of the hot melt adhesive can thus be controlled by inserting pins or wires in such a way that the hair is reliably bonded in a small space.
The shrink sleeve can be particularly easily manufactured and placed in the clamping device when it has at least one recess, in particular a groove or an annular groove, and/or at least one projection, in particular an annular projection, on its outer surface for fixing the shrink sleeve on a clip of the clamping device.
Drawings
Embodiments of the invention are schematically shown in the drawings and described in more detail below.
Wherein:
FIG. 1 shows a cross-sectional view of two clamping jaws of an extrusion apparatus along the axis of a shrink sleeve;
fig. 2 shows a cross-sectional view of a clamping or pressing device;
FIG. 3 shows a perspective view of a profile-like clamping jaw fastened to a lever;
figure 4 shows a cross-sectional view of the clamping jaw together with an additional clamping device.
Detailed Description
The clamping or pressing device according to the invention has two double- arm levers 11, 12 that can be articulated across one another. In this embodiment, however, the two levers 11, 12 are connected to one another by means of a joint 13 without crossing one another, so that pressing the two lever ends on one side toward one another causes the lever ends on the other side to move away from one another. Between the lever ends on the first side, a pressure spring 14 is arranged, which presses the rear lever ends apart from one another, so that the two front lever ends are pressed together against this pressure by the hand. Between the lever ends on the other or second side, clamping jaws 5, 6 are fastened on the inside, between which the shrink sleeve 1 is placed.
In the shrink sleeve 1, the end of the self hair bundle 2 is put in on one side, and the end of the extraneous hair bundle 3 is put in on the other side. In the middle of the shrink sleeve 1, the two self hair strands overlap at least partially, and in this middle region, on the inner wall of the shrink sleeve 1 there is a hot melt adhesive (melted adhesive) 4 which melts under the effect of the pressure and heat acting on the shrink sleeve from the outside and penetrates between the hairs of the two hair strands in order to fasten these hairs together after the glue has cooled.
In order to apply the required pressure and the required heat to the shrink sleeve from the outside, the shrink sleeve 1 is placed between the two clamping jaws 5, 6, wherein in this embodiment the two clamping jaws 5, 6 have a recess 8 on their inner side in the middle region of the shrink sleeve, so that in the case of the two clamping jaws 5, 6 being pressed together, a smaller pressure is applied on this middle region of the shrink sleeve in the middle region than in the two end regions of the shrink sleeve. The heat required for the hot melt adhesive is generated here by heating elements located in one or both of the clamping jaws 5, 6, in particular by an ultrasonic source.
Due to the recesses 8, a smaller pressure is applied in the middle region of the shrink sleeve than in the outer region, so that the hot melt adhesive tapers toward the two ends and has a larger diameter in the middle region and the shrink sleeve is correspondingly deformed in such a way that it has a larger diameter in the middle region and tapers toward the two sides. Thereby, the shrink sleeve matches the hair bundle. Preferably, however, the shrink sleeve is removed after the hot melt adhesive 4 has cured, so that only the hot melt adhesive remains on the two hair strands 2, 3 and has a lenticular shape in longitudinal section here.
Preferably, the clamping jaws 5, 6 have two or more receptacles parallel to one another for the shrink sleeve 1, so that a plurality of shrink sleeves can be processed simultaneously.
In order to be able to place one or more shrink sleeves 1 into a receiving location and hold them there particularly easily, it is proposed: at least one projection or in particular an annular projection is arranged on the outside of the shrink sleeve, which projection engages into a corresponding recess in the clamping jaw. Thus, the shrink sleeve is reliably held in the clamping jaws even when they have not yet been pressed against one another.
In the configuration shown in fig. 3, the clamping jaws 5, 6 are formed by profiles which are arranged parallel to one another and are fastened with one of their ends to one of the two levers 11, 12, in each case, in particular integrally formed, the clamping jaw profiles form an angle α of 40 to 60 degrees, preferably 45 degrees, with the levers 11, 12 in order to be able to place the clamping jaws 5, 6 conveniently on the scalp, so that the clamping jaws are approximately parallel to the scalp, in which position an identical plurality of shrink sleeves 1 can be gripped between the clamping jaws and these are deformed by pressure and heat in order to bond an extraneous hair strand to the own hair strand.
The sides of the two clamping jaws 5, 6 which face each other and between which the shrink sleeve is located have projecting ribs 15 to 18 which are arranged parallel to the clamping jaw axis or the extension, which ribs can also be referred to as projecting strips and are at a distance a from each other, so that in the respective clamping jaw a recess 8 is formed between the ribs, so that the two recesses 8 form a space in which the middle region of the shrink sleeve is located in which the two ends of the hot melt adhesive and the hair strand are located when the clamping jaws are pressed against each other.
If the two clamping jaws 5, 6 are pressed towards one another by pressing the levers 11, 12 together, the ribs 15 to 18 tighten the shrink sleeve on both sides of its middle region, wherein the shrink sleeve is heated at the same time. It is advantageous here to separate the two clamping jaws from one another shortly after the start of the pressing and heating, so that the adhesive has the opportunity to be distributed better. In this case, the shrink sleeve 1 is further held by an additional clamping device 19, which acts on the clamping point of the shrink sleeve and thus further secures the shrink sleeve. The clamping device 19 has a U-shaped cross-sectional profile 20, the free ends 21, 22 of the profile legs of which, which point toward the clamping point, overlap one of the clamping jaws 5, 6 from the outside.
By means of the profile- like clamping jaws 5, 6 and in particular by means of the additional clamping device 19, it is possible to achieve simultaneous deformation of a plurality of shrink sleeves on the head and a secure connection of the ends of the two hair strands 2, 3 to one another. The sleeve is then removed from the hair strand attachment site. For this purpose, the shrink sleeve 1 has at least one tear seam. The detailed construction and operation of the shrink sleeve is described in WO 2014/086483 a 1.
In at least one of the two clamping jaws 5, 6, there are one to three transverse bores 23 which end in the shrink sleeve 1. Through these holes 23, rods, pins or pins can be inserted, which with their inserted ends press against the outside of the sleeve 1 in order to influence the flow of the hot melt adhesive. Thus, for example, an aggregation in the intermediate region can be achieved.
