An acoustic piano with a soundboard driven by electromagnetism to produce sound comprises a piano keyboard and a sensor device, a device for converting a key motion signal into a piano sound wave meter signal, a piano solid wood soundboard, a soundboard frame fixing device, a coil, a permanent magnet, a back frame, a shell, a damper pedal, a mute pedal, a selective damper pedal assembly and a power amplifier; wherein: the piano keyboard and the sensor device are connected with a piano key motion signal-to-piano sound wavetable signal processor through data lines, the piano key motion signal-to-piano sound wavetable signal processor is connected with a power amplifier, and the damper pedal, the mute pedal and the selective damper pedal assembly are connected with the piano sound wavetable signal processor; the power amplifier is connected with a coil fixed on the auxiliary soundboard, the permanent magnet is fixedly connected with the piano solid wood soundboard, and the permanent magnet is arranged in the coil of the auxiliary soundboard. The thickness of the piano solid wood soundboard (3) is 5-15 mm.
The permanent magnet (6), the coil (5) and the auxiliary sound board (11) are combined to be used as a driving device for the vibration of the piano solid wood sound board (3).
The piano solid wood soundboard (3) is 50-140 cm in width and 80-130 cm in height.
