In an embodiment of the present invention, the display screen may include a flexible display screen body 100, a connection glue 200, and a protective layer 300. The flexible display screen body 100 can be used as a main structure of a display screen, the flexible display screen body 100 can be connected with the protective layer 300 through the connecting glue 200, the protective layer 300 is bonded with the flexible display screen body 100, the protective layer 300 can cover the connecting glue 200, and the flexible display screen body 100 is protected. Alternatively, the protective layer 300 may be provided with only one layer, or may be provided with multiple layers, which is not limited in this embodiment of the present invention. In addition, the connection glue 200 may be an optical glue having relatively excellent light transmittance, so that the connection glue 200 can not only realize the connection between the flexible display panel body 100 and the protection layer 300, but also ensure the light transmittance of the display panel.

In the display screen disclosed in the embodiment of the present invention, the protection layer 300 is provided with the recessed portion 310, and the recessed portion 310 enables a portion of the protection layer 300 corresponding to the bending region (i.e., the third region) of the flexible display screen body 100 to have better flexibility, so as to ensure the bending performance of the display screen, and therefore, the structural strength of the protection layer 300 is less likely to be limited by the bending performance of the display screen, so that the protection layer 300 can protect the flexible display screen body 100 more effectively, and the display screen is less likely to be damaged.
Optionally, when the display screen is unfolded and flat, in a direction perpendicular to the flexible display screen body 100, the projection of each concave portion 310 may be located in the projection of the third area, and meanwhile, the projection of the portion of the protective layer 300 where the concave portion 310 is disposed may coincide with the projection of the third area, so that each concave portion 310 may cover the third area as much as possible, and the display screen is easier to bend. Further, in the case where the display screen is in the unfolded state, an orthographic projection contour line of the recess 310 in the direction perpendicular to the flexible display screen body 100 partially coincides with an orthographic projection contour line of the third region in the direction perpendicular to the flexible display screen body 100. The direction in which the first region extends toward the second region is defined as the first direction, and at this time, the size of the recess 310 in the first direction (specifically, the length of the recess 310) is substantially equal to the size of the third region in the first direction, so that the recess 310 can better cover the third region, thereby making the display screen easier to bend, and at the same time, the structural strength of the protection layer 300 is not excessively weakened.
After the recess 310 is formed, the structural strength of the protection layer 300 is reduced, so that the structural strength of the protection layer 300 is improved as much as possible while the bending performance of the display screen is ensured, the flexible display screen body 100 is protected better, the display screen can further comprise filling adhesive 500, and the filling adhesive 500 is arranged in the recess 310. The filling paste 500 herein may fill the inner space of the recess 310, which is adhered to the protective layer 300, thereby making the structural strength of the portion of the protective layer 300 where the recess 310 is disposed higher. Alternatively, the top surface of the underfill 500 may be flush with the open side of the recess 310 such that the underfill 500 just fills the recess 310 without overflowing.
Optionally, the filling adhesive 500 may be formed by a glue filling process, and of course, the filling adhesive 500 may also be formed in other manners, which is not limited in this embodiment of the present invention. In addition, the specific type of the filling adhesive 500 may be flexibly selected, and the filling adhesive may be an adhesive that has flexibility and does not affect the normal display of the display screen, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention. For example, the filling adhesive 500 may be an optical adhesive having relatively excellent light transmittance, so that the filling adhesive 500 can achieve the filling effect and ensure the light transmittance of the display screen. Further, the refractive index of the filling paste 500 may be equal to that of the protective layer 300, thereby making the appearance of the display screen more uniform.
In an alternative embodiment, the protective layer 300 is a flexible glass protective layer. That is, the material of the protective layer 300 may be flexible glass, which has better flexibility, higher structural strength and impact resistance, thereby better protecting the flexible display screen body 100. Further, the material of the protection layer 300 may be a strengthened glass with flexibility to make the protection effect of the protection layer 300 better, for example, the strength of the protection layer 300 may be made higher by a chemical strengthening method. In addition, the polishing process may be further performed on the portion of the protection layer 300 where the recess 310 is provided, so that cracks on the surface of the recess 310 are less, thereby further improving the structural strength of the protection layer 300. When the underfill 500 is provided in the recess 310, the polishing process herein may allow the underfill 500 to be more tightly adhered to the protection layer 300, thereby further improving the structural strength of the protection layer 300.
Optionally, the protection layer 300 may include a first protection portion 320, a third protection portion 340 and a second protection portion 330, which are connected in sequence, where the first protection portion 320 is disposed corresponding to the first region, the second protection portion 330 is disposed corresponding to the second region, the third protection portion 340 is disposed corresponding to the third region, and the third protection portion 340 is provided with the aforementioned recess 310. After adopting this kind of structure, the first region, the second region and the third region of flexible display screen body 100 all can obtain more ideal protection to make the display screen more difficult to damage. Meanwhile, the first protection portion 320, the second protection portion 330 and the third protection portion 340 are connected into a whole, so that the structural strength of the protection layer 300 is higher, and the protection effect brought by the protection layer is better.
First protection portion 320, second protection portion 330 and third protection portion 340 can adopt split type structure, and the mode such as bonding is connected into a whole again after the three can be moulded respectively promptly, but in order to further increase the structural strength of protective layer 300, can adopt integrated into one piece's mode to make protective layer 300 for first protection portion 320, third protection portion 340 and second protection portion 330 formula structure as an organic whole, the structure formula structure that forms after the three links to each other promptly.

The thicknesses of the first protection portion 320, the second protection portion 330, and the third protection portion 340 may be flexibly set, and in order to simplify the molding process of the protection layer 300, the thicknesses of the first protection portion 320, the second protection portion 330, and the third protection portion 340 may be equal. In an alternative embodiment, the thickness of the first protection portion 320 may be 50um to 500 um; and/or the thickness of the second protection part 330 is 50um to 500 um; and/or the thickness of the third protection part 340 is 50um to 500 um. When the thicknesses of the first protection part 320, the second protection part 330, and the third protection part 340 adopt the numerical ranges described herein, the structural strength and the impact resistance of the protection layer 300 are superior, and it has more desirable bending properties. Of course, the thicknesses of the first protection portion 320, the second protection portion 330, and the third protection portion 340 may also take other values, which is not limited in this embodiment of the present invention.
Based on the display screen described in any of the above embodiments, the embodiment of the present invention further discloses an electronic device, which includes the display screen described in any of the above embodiments, the display screen may include the flexible display screen body 100, the connection glue 200, and the protection layer 300 described above, and may further include a circuit board 400, and the circuit board 400 is connected to the flexible display screen body 100.
The electronic device disclosed in the embodiment of the present invention may be a smart phone, a tablet computer, an electronic book reader, a wearable device (e.g., a smart watch), an electronic game machine, or the like, and the specific type of the electronic device is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention.
