taking EPG information related to at least one channel as initial EPG information, generating an EPG interface comprising the initial EPG information, and displaying the EPG interface on a display area, wherein the initial EPG information is related to the program type of a program played by a current channel;
after receiving a program instruction triggered by a user on an EPG interface, determining the type of the program instruction;
when the program instruction type is a program reminding instruction, acquiring the program playing time corresponding to the program reminding instruction, and sending program prompt information to a user when the current time reaches the program playing time;
when the program instruction type is a program recording instruction, acquiring program playing time corresponding to the program recording instruction, and recording program content corresponding to the program recording instruction when the current time reaches the program playing time;
and when the program instruction type is a program playing instruction, acquiring the program content corresponding to the program playing instruction, and replacing the EPG interface by playing the program content corresponding to the program playing instruction.

and displaying the program information corresponding to the pre-skipped channel on an EPG interface as the latest EPG information.
