Technical Field
In the present specification, disclosed is a uv-blocking cosmetic composition comprising an oil, an emulsifier, an inorganic-based uv-blocking agent, and an aqueous phase portion, the emulsifier comprising a polyglyceryl emulsifier and a sorbitan-based emulsifier.
Background
Recently, in various industrial fields such as food and sanitary products, concerns about safety of chemical substances have increased, and many attempts have been made to eliminate ingredients which pose dangerous concerns about skin and human health in cosmetics.
In particular, in the case of an ultraviolet blocking agent for adult consumers, infants, and children having sensitive skin, there are many water-in-oil type ultraviolet blocking cosmetics developed which contain only an inorganic ultraviolet blocking agent in consideration of skin irritation of the organic ultraviolet blocking agent, and in order to ensure improved dispersibility and emulsion stability of the inorganic ultraviolet blocking component, a polyethylene glycol (PEG) -based emulsifier (PEG-based emulsifier) having excellent emulsifying power and dispersibility is often used.
However, although products in which the PEG-based emulsifier is excluded have been developed with the problem of stability, they have disadvantages that they have negative feeling of use such as dry and thick spreadability and white turbidity, the molding stability is remarkably lowered, and oils and waxes for thickening purposes included for ensuring the molding stability are precipitated.
Therefore, there is a need for a cosmetic composition which has improved feeling in use and formulation stability compared to the prior art while excluding PEG-based emulsifiers.

Detailed Description
Definition of terms
In the present specification, when a component is referred to as being "included" in a certain portion, it is not intended to exclude other components and may include other components unless specifically stated to the contrary.
Description of illustrative embodiments
The present invention will be described in detail below.
In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the present invention is a uv-blocking cosmetic composition comprising an oil, an emulsifier, an inorganic-based uv-blocking agent, and an aqueous phase portion, the emulsifier comprising a polyglyceryl emulsifier and a sorbitan-based emulsifier.
Unlike inorganic ultraviolet blockers, which generally prevent ultraviolet rays from penetrating into the skin by physically scattering or reflecting them, organic ultraviolet blockers prevent ultraviolet rays from penetrating into the skin by chemical absorption.
Therefore, the cosmetic composition of the present invention comprises an inorganic-based uv-blocking agent instead of an organic uv-blocking agent which may show irritation or toxicity to the skin due to chemical action, thereby enabling safe use of the skin of an infant who is not resistant to irritation or sensitive skin, and the skin after dermatology.
However, in the case of containing the inorganic-based ultraviolet ray blocking agent, there is a problem of dry and thick feeling in use or stability of molding such as deposition of oil or wax during production, and in order to solve this problem, a PEG-based emulsifier is mainly used, but there is a fear that a component such as 1, 4-dioxane generated as a by-product during synthesis is not completely removed in view of safety of the PEG-based emulsifier.
Accordingly, the present inventors have invented an ultraviolet-blocking cosmetic composition which contains an inorganic ultraviolet-blocking agent that is not irritating to the skin, and which contains a polyglyceryl emulsifier and a sorbitan emulsifier together without using a conventionally used PEG-based emulsifier, thereby having excellent formulation stability and an excellent ultraviolet-blocking effect.
In one embodiment, the polyglyceryl emulsifier may comprise one or more selected from the group consisting of polyglyceryl-2 dipolyhydroxystearate, lauryl polyglyceryl-3 dimethiconoethyl dimethicone, diisostearoyl polyglyceryl-3 dimerized linoleate, polyglyceryl-4 diisostearate/polyhydroxystearate/sebacate, polyglyceryl-2 triisostearate, polyglyceryl-3 diisostearate, polyglyceryl-2 diisostearate, and polyglyceryl-3 dimethiconoethyl dimethicone.
The sorbitan-based emulsifier may include one or more selected from the group consisting of sorbitan monolaurate, sorbitan monopalmitate, sorbitan monostearate, sorbitan tristearate, sorbitan monooleate, sorbitan sesquioleate, and sorbitan isostearate.
In particular, since the sorbitan-based emulsifier has a linear structure, contrary to the large volume of the structure of the polyglyceryl emulsifier, when the cosmetic composition contains one or more polyglyceryl emulsifiers having different structures from each other and one or more sorbitan-based emulsifiers having a linear structure, the cosmetic composition can be prepared which has excellent stability in forming and also has excellent dispersibility at high temperatures.
In one embodiment, the integral emulsifier may be present in an amount of 1 to 20 wt%, for example, 2 to 19 wt%, 3 to 18 wt%, 4 to 17 wt%, 5 to 16 wt%, 6 to 15 wt%, 7 to 14 wt%, or 8 to 13 wt%, based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. If the content of the emulsifier is less than 1% by weight, it is difficult to ensure stability of the molded product such as deposition of wax and water separation with the lapse of time after the preparation of the cosmetic composition, and if the content exceeds 20% by weight, the feeling of use as the cosmetic composition deteriorates and application to the product may be difficult.
In one embodiment, the oil may include one or more selected from the group consisting of C12-15 alkyl benzoate, coco-caprylate/caprate, dioctyl ether, coco glycerides, methyl trimethicone, butylene glycol dicaprylate/dicaprate, and caprylic/capric triglyceride, and may be contained in an amount of 10 to 40% by weight, for example, 11 to 35%, 12 to 30%, or 13 to 25% by weight, based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. When the oil content is less than 10% by weight, a dry and thick feeling of use may be exhibited, and when it exceeds 40% by weight, greasiness may be exhibited when the skin is applied.
In one embodiment, the inorganic-based uv-blocking agent may be one or more selected from the group consisting of titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, and iron oxide, and may be contained in an amount of 10 to 40% by weight, for example, 11 to 35%, 12 to 30%, or 13 to 25% by weight, based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. In the case where the content of the inorganic-based ultraviolet blocking agent is less than 10% by weight, the ultraviolet blocking effect may be very small, and in the case where it exceeds 40% by weight, the feeling of use and the molding safety may be lowered.
In one embodiment, the aqueous phase part may include one or more selected from the group consisting of water, hydrogen chloride, butylene glycol, ethylhexylglycerin, and glyceryl caprylate, and the aqueous phase part may be contained in an amount of 20 to 50% by weight, for example, 23 to 47% by weight, 26 to 44% by weight, or 30 to 40% by weight, based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. In the case where the content of the aqueous phase part is less than 20% by weight, a feeling of use due to greasiness and sliminess of the oil may be felt, and dispersibility may be reduced, and in the case where it exceeds 50% by weight, separation of the oil phase part and the aqueous phase part may occur.
In one embodiment, the cosmetic composition may further comprise one or more of a powder, a wax, and an inorganic thickener.
In one embodiment, the powder is used for the use feeling of the ultraviolet ray blocking cosmetic composition, and may be one or more selected from the group consisting of silicon dioxide, vinyl dimethicone/methicone silsesquioxane cross-linked polymer, polymethylsilsesquioxane, and polymethylmethacrylate. The powder may be contained in an amount of 1 to 10% by weight, for example, 1.5 to 9%, 2 to 8%, 2.5 to 7% or 3 to 6.5% by weight, based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. The powder can make the cosmetic composition soft in use and prevent precipitation phenomenon in molding.
In one embodiment, the wax may be at least one selected from hydrogenated vegetable oil, and tristearin, and may be contained in an amount of 0.5 to 5% by weight, for example, 1 to 4.5% by weight, 1.5 to 4% by weight, or 2 to 3.5% by weight, based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. The wax can soften the use feeling within the content and prevent the precipitation phenomenon in the molding.
In one embodiment, the inorganic thickener may be a hectorite-based inorganic thickener, preferably may be disteardimonium hectorite, present in an amount of 0.5 to 5 wt.%, for example, 1 to 4.5 wt.%, 1.5 to 4 wt.%, or 2 to 3.5 wt.%, based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. The inorganic thickener can prevent wax precipitation in the above content and does not impair the feeling in use.
In one embodiment, the ultraviolet blocking cosmetic composition may be of a water-in-oil type. Therefore, the water phase component in the ultraviolet-blocking cosmetic composition does not evaporate and has good affinity with the skin.
In yet another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the present invention is a method of blocking ultraviolet light by administering or applying to the skin in an effective amount a cosmetic composition comprising an oil, an emulsifier comprising a polyglyceryl emulsifier and a sorbitan-based emulsifier, an inorganic-based ultraviolet light blocking agent, and an aqueous phase portion to a subject in need thereof.
In yet another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the present invention is a uv blocking use of a composition comprising an oil, an emulsifier, an inorganic-based uv blocking agent, and an aqueous phase portion, the emulsifier comprising a polyglyceryl emulsifier and a sorbitan-based emulsifier.
In yet another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the present invention is a use of a composition for preparing a uv-blocking cosmetic, the composition comprising an oil, an emulsifier, an inorganic-based uv-blocking agent, and an aqueous phase part, the emulsifier comprising a polyglyceryl emulsifier and a sorbitan-based emulsifier.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described more specifically by the following examples. However, the following examples are provided for illustrative purposes only to aid understanding of the present invention, and the scope and scope of the present invention are not limited thereto.

The cosmetic compositions of examples 1 to 5 and comparative examples 1 to 8 were prepared according to the formulations shown in tables 1 and 2 below.

The ultraviolet-blocking cosmetic compositions prepared with the formulations were observed for dispersibility and formulation stability and are shown in the following tables 3 and 4, photographs for observing the precipitation stability of example 1 and comparative example 1 are shown in fig. 1a and 1b, and photographs for observing the emulsion stability of example 1 and comparative example 6 are shown in fig. 2a and 2 b.

[ Table 4]
Example 2 Example 3 Example 4 Comparative example 7 Example 6 Comparative example 8
Stability of Good effect Good effect Good effect Low viscosity Good effect Poor dispersion
Referring to the above tables 3 and 4, in the case of using only two emulsifiers (comparative examples 2 to 5), emulsion stability was not secured, and when cyclic shaking (Cycling shaking) was performed for 3 days (-0 ℃ to 45 ℃, 1 cycle/24 hours, rotation at 150 rpm), a phenomenon in which emulsified particles were broken and water was separated was observed, in the case of using a diisostearoylpolyglycerol-3 dilinoleate (diisostearoyl polyoxy L PO L YG L YCERY L-3 DIMER DI L INO L EATE) emulsifier having a volume-large structure as a primary surfactant and using a co-emulsifier having a volume-large structure and a linear structure (comparative example 6), emulsion stability was secured, but dispersibility was lowered at high temperature.
Finally, in the case of example 1 in which four types of polyglyceryl emulsifiers and linear coemulsifiers having different structures were additionally used, all of dispersibility and emulsion stability at high temperature could be ensured.
In addition, when other emulsifiers of sorbitan group among linear co-emulsifiers are used, excellent effects can be secured in emulsion stability and high-temperature dispersibility (examples 2 and 3). In addition, when tests were conducted with the polyglyceryl and sorbitan-based emulsifiers increased to 13 wt% (example 4) and 22 wt% (comparative example 7), effects similar to those of example 1 could be achieved in terms of emulsion stability and dispersibility, but in the case of comparative example 7, not only was the viscosity of the contents made extremely low, but also the quality as a product was difficult to achieve due to a sticky and dry and thick feeling of use.
In the case of extending the inorganic thickener, when used at 2.5 wt% (example 5), although stability can be secured and a feeling of use achieved similarly to example 1, when used at a content exceeding 5 wt% (comparative example 8), high temperature dispersibility is lowered.
Therefore, in order to achieve a suitable feeling of use as a product and ensure stability, it is used with the content of the emulsifier being 1 to 20% by weight and the content of the inorganic thickener being 0.5 to 5% by weight, thereby overcoming the limitations of the prior art.
Test example 2 preparation of typeStability ofAnd measurement of ultraviolet blocking Effect
The cosmetic compositions of example 1 and comparative example 1 of the present invention were measured for formulation stability, acceleration stability and ultraviolet blocking effect at room temperature and are shown in the following table 5.
[ Table 5]
Figure BDA0002518098810000111
When comparing the ultraviolet blocking effect of comparative example 1 to which the prior art was applied and example 1 in which the dispersibility and emulsion stability at high temperature were all ensured, the UVB blocking effect was improved, and PA, which is the UVA blocking effect, could ensure the same level. Therefore, it was confirmed that the ultraviolet-blocking cosmetic composition of the present invention has an excellent ultraviolet-blocking effect compared to conventional ultraviolet-blocking cosmetic compositions even without using a PEG-based emulsifier.
