Abstract
The present invention relates to the field of railway transportation, and more particularly to a multi-type intermodal flatcar which can be used both for transporting a freight semitrailer on public railway tracks and for loading and unloading the freight semitrailer at dedicated stations. The multi-modal intermodal flat car includes a loading platform and a control console connected by a connecting mechanism and configured with a dual-axle bogie, the control console having mounted thereon a horizontal arched beam having a screw jack support and configured to be laterally movable with respect to the control console to thereby move a proximal end of the loading platform along the arched beam. The arched beam is mounted on the horizontal guide rail. The arched beam includes a middle movable section and side foldable sections hinged to the middle section and arranged along the console in folded positions. The invention allows the extension of the arched beam to be increased and the size of the device to be kept compact.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of railway transportation, and more particularly to a multi-type intermodal flatcar which can be used both for transporting a freight semitrailer on public railway tracks and for loading and unloading the freight semitrailer at dedicated stations.
Background
The prior art provides a multi-type intermodal flat car comprising a loading platform and a control station connected to a connecting mechanism and equipped with a two-axle bogie, wherein the control station is also equipped with a horizontal arched beam having a telescopic vertical support and able to rotate transversely with respect to the chassis, so that the proximal end of the loading platform slides along the arched beam (see patent EP2419312, cl.b61d 3/04, publication 2016.05.25). The disadvantage of this device is that it is relatively large in size, requires additional fixing of the arched beam for transport purposes, and is inconvenient to use when unloading due to the small space between the loading platform and the control console.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to provide a durable and easy to handle flatcar having elongated arched beams at the same compact size.
The multi-type combined transport flat car completely achieves the aim. The loading platform and the control platform of the flat car are connected through a connecting mechanism and are provided with a double-shaft bogie, a horizontal arched beam is arranged on the control platform, and a telescopic vertical support is arranged on the arched beam. The arched beam is configured to be laterally extendable/retractable with respect to the console such that the proximal end of the loading station moves along the arched beam. The arched beam is mounted on a horizontal guide rail and includes a middle movable section and side foldable sections hinged to the middle section and arranged along the chassis in a folded position. The horizontal guide rails are preferably connected to vertical sliding brackets mounted on the console. Each segment of the arched beam is preferably provided with a rack to interact with a gear mounted to the loading station. The foldable segments are preferably hinged to the intermediate segment. The folded section of the arched beam is preferably within the dimensions of the console. An independent retractable vertical support is preferably provided at the end of the loading station adjacent the console.

Detailed Description
The invention provides a multi-type intermodal flat car which comprises a loading platform 1 and a control platform 2 connected with a connecting mechanism. The rear ends of the console 2 and the loading platform 1 are provided with a double-shaft bogie 3. One end of the loading platform 1 is fixed on a spherical bracket of the bogie 3, and the other end is connected with the control platform 2. The position lock mechanism 4 is used to fix the loading table 1 and the console 2 at the device storage position.
The horizontal arched beam is mounted on the console 2 and comprises three sections: an intermediate movable section 5 and side foldable sections 6 arranged along the console in a folded position. The foldable segments 6 are hinged to the intermediate segments 5 and are driven by an electromechanical drive 7. The arched beam is mounted on a horizontal rail which is connected to a carriage 8 mounted on the console 2 for movement on a vertical rail 9. Each segment 5-6 is provided with a rack 10 interacting with a gear 11, which gear 11 has an electromechanical drive and is connected to the loading table 1. Sections 5-6 are each provided with a screw jack support 12. The arched beam is configured to be laterally elongated in relation to the console 2 and to be moved along the arched beam by means of a drive at the proximal end of the loading table 1. The foldable segments 5-6 are within the dimensions of the console 2.
The loading platform 1 is equipped with a separate screw jack stand 13 at its end near the operating platform 2. The loading table 1 is moved along the arched beam by means of rollers 14. The cargo is secured in the stowed position by the saddle 15.
The loading and unloading process of the multimodal transport flat car is as follows:
at the loading site, the drive opens the folding section 6 into the operating position. The arched beam is then moved along the horizontal guide of the carriage 8 towards the semitrailer via the rack 10 and the pinion 11. Under the action of the screw jack bracket 12, the bracket 8 moves up to the structural element of the control platform 2 along the guide rail until the arched beam contacts with the roller 14 of the loading platform 1, the screw jack bracket 12 is fixed against the ground, and the position locking mechanism of the loading platform 1 is in a disabled state.
The loading table 1 is then moved along the arched beam on the rollers 14 by means of the rack 10 and the pinion 11. The screw jack bracket 13 lifts the loading platform 1, the screw jack bracket 12 of the arched beam is lifted, and the arched beam is converted to the middle. The drive 7 of the foldable segment 6 folds it to its original position.
The screw jack stand 13 lowers the end of the loading table 1 on the ground. The quay tractor places the freight semitrailer on the loading dock 1.
The screw jack legs 13 lift the loading platform 1 loaded with goods. The foldable segments 6 are unfolded to the operative position. The arched beam sections 5-6 are moved along the horizontal guide rails of the carriage 8 by means of a rack 10 and a pinion 11. The arched beam screw jack bracket 12 is fixed against the ground, and the screw jack bracket 13 puts down the loading platform on the arched beam.
The loading platform 1 loaded with goods moves along the arched beam and is fixed on the control platform 2 through a position locking mechanism. All operating mechanisms are in the stowed position. The goods are fixed on the trailer hitch 15.
The structure of the loading platform for moving and rotating a multi-type intermodal flat car provided by the present invention can increase the extension degree of the arched beam while keeping the size of the device compact, the structure has durability and the operation characteristics are improved by using mechanical and electromechanical systems.
Claims (6)
1. A multi-modal intermodal flat car comprising a loading platform and a control console connected by a connecting mechanism and configured with a two-axis bogie, the control console having a horizontal arched beam configured with a screw jack support, the arched beam configured to be able to move laterally with respect to the control console to thereby move a proximal end of the loading platform along a chassis, characterized in that the arched beam is mounted on a horizontal rail and comprises a middle movable section and side foldable sections hinged to the middle movable section and disposed along the control console in a folded position.
2. The multi-form intermodal vehicle as set forth in claim 1 wherein the horizontal guide rails are connected to vertical sliding brackets mounted on the control deck.
3. The multi-form intermodal flat car as set forth in claim 1 wherein each section of the arched beam is configured with a rack to interact with a gear mounted on the loading station.
4. The multi-form intermodal flat car as set forth in claim 1 wherein the foldable sections are hinged to the intermediate movable section.
5. The multi-form intermodal flat car as set forth in claim 1 wherein the foldable sections of the arched beams are within the dimensions of the control deck.
6. The multi-modal intermodal vehicle as set forth in claim 1 wherein the loading bay is fitted with a separate screw jack bracket at an end thereof adjacent the control bay.
