In the following description, the following are assumed: the upper side means the near side with respect to the paper surface of fig. 1, the lower side means the deep side with respect to the paper surface of fig. 1, the front side means the upper side with respect to the paper surface of fig. 1, the rear side means the lower side with respect to the paper surface of fig. 1, the left side means the left side with respect to the paper surface of fig. 1, and the right side means the right side with respect to the paper surface of fig. 1. The left-right direction is also referred to as a width direction.
(embodiment 1)
First, a slide fastener according to embodiment 1 of the fastener element tape according to the present invention will be described with reference to fig. 1 to 5.
As shown in fig. 1, the slide fastener SF includes: a pair of right and left fastener element tapes 10; a slider SL that engages and disengages the fastener element rows 30 of the right and left fastener element tapes 10; upper stop portions P1 attached to the front end sides of the side edges of the right and left fastener tapes 10; and a bottom stop portion P2 attached to the rear end sides of the opposing side edges of the left and right fastener tape 10. Then, the left and right fastener element rows 30 are engaged by moving the slider SL forward, and the left and right fastener element rows 30 are separated by moving the slider SL backward. The lower stopper P2 may be an opening member including a plunger, a seat bar, and a seat body.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the fastener tape 10 includes a fastener tape 20, fastener element rows 30 attached to one side edge portion 21a of a lower surface 21 of the fastener tape 20, and a waterproof layer 40 provided on an upper surface 22 of the fastener tape 20.
The fastener tape 20 may be a tape produced by weaving or a tape produced by knitting, and may be produced to have a predetermined width, a predetermined thickness, and a predetermined structure by using a loom or a knitting machine. Examples of the yarn constituting the fastener tape 20 include polyester yarn.
The fastener element row 30 is a spiral fastener element row formed of a monofilament made of a synthetic resin, and has a plurality of fastener elements 31. The fastener element row 30 has a core thread 32 disposed therein, and is sewn to the lower surface 21 of the fastener tape 20 by a sewing thread 33. Examples of the synthetic resin material for the monofilament include polyester and nylon. The core wire 32 is already disposed inside the fastener element row 30 in the step of molding the fastener element row 30.
The fastener element 31 includes: an engagement head 31a that engages with the fastener element 31 of the other fastener; an upper leg portion 31b extending outward in the width direction from an upper end portion of the engagement head portion 31 a; a lower leg portion 31c extending outward in the width direction from a lower end portion of the engagement head portion 31 a; and a coupling portion 31d that couples the widthwise outer end of the upper leg portion 31b and the widthwise outer end of the lower leg portion 31c of the adjacent fastener element 31.
Then, the upper surface 22 of the fastener tape 20 is subjected to calendering by heat and pressure treatment, and the waterproof layer 40 is provided on the upper surface 22 of the fastener tape 20 subjected to the calendering. Accordingly, since the waterproof layer 40 is provided on the upper surface 22 of the fastener tape 20 flattened by the calendering, gloss such as being polished can be given to the surface (upper surface) of the waterproof layer 40, and thereby the appearance of the slide fastener SF using the fastener element tape 10 can be improved. Further, although the waterproof layer 40 can be provided to obtain the waterproof property, the waterproof property of the present invention can include both complete waterproof property and a certain level of waterproof property.
A waterproof layer 40 is provided over the entire surface of the upper surface 22 of the fastener tape 20. The waterproof layer 40 is a film made of thermoplastic synthetic resin (thermoplastic elastomer) having an elastomer property, and is bonded to the upper surface 22 of the fastener tape 20 with an adhesive. The waterproof layer 40 may be formed by thinly applying a molten thermoplastic synthetic resin to the upper surface 22 of the fastener tape 20 and applying the resin. Examples of the thermoplastic synthetic resin include polyurethane.
Next, in order to confirm the effectiveness of the present invention, the surface roughness of the waterproof layer 40 when the upper surface 22 of the fastener tape 20 is subjected to the calendering and the surface roughness of the waterproof layer 40 when the upper surface 22 of the fastener tape 20 is not subjected to the calendering are measured. The measurement value is shown below. The measuring apparatus used was a 3D shape measuring apparatus VR3000G2 manufactured by kynshi co. In addition, the number of samples was 4 in total, two of the samples subjected to the calendering and two of the samples not subjected to the calendering.
Measurement value of surface roughness when calendering is performed
1 st:
arithmetic mean height Sa 0.078mm
Maximum height Sz of 0.477mm
Aspect ratio Str of surface texture 0.513
Expansion area ratio Sdr of 0.0056255
The 2 nd:
arithmetic mean height Sa of 0.096mm
Maximum height Sz of 0.521mm
Aspect ratio Str of surface texture 0.733
Expansion area ratio Sdr of 0.0054392
Measurement of surface roughness without carrying out calendering
1 st:
arithmetic mean height Sa of 0.107mm
Maximum height Sz of 0.964mm
Aspect ratio Str of surface texture 0.135
Expansion area ratio Sdr of 0.0475920
The 2 nd:
arithmetic mean height Sa of 0.131mm
Maximum height Sz of 1.192mm
Aspect ratio Str of surface texture 0.162
Expansion area ratio Sdr of 0.0673549
As is clear from the above measurement values, the arithmetic mean height Sa, the maximum height Sz, and the spread area ratio Sdr of the interface of the samples subjected to the calendering are lower than those of the samples not subjected to the calendering, and therefore the surface of the waterproof layer is flat in the samples subjected to the calendering compared with the samples not subjected to the calendering. In addition, the aspect ratio Str of the surface property of the sample subjected to the calendering is higher than that of the sample not subjected to the calendering, and therefore, the grain of the surface of the waterproof layer is less in the sample subjected to the calendering than that of the sample not subjected to the calendering.
As described above, according to the fastener tape 10 of the present embodiment, since the waterproof layer 40 is provided on the upper surface 22 of the fastener tape 20 flattened by the calendering, it is possible to impart gloss as polished to the surface (upper surface) of the waterproof layer 40. Therefore, water resistance can be obtained, and the appearance of the slide fastener SF can be improved.
Next, embodiment 1 of the method for manufacturing a fastener tape according to the present invention will be described with reference to fig. 3.
As shown in fig. 3, the manufacturing method of the present embodiment includes: a tape producing step ST1 of producing the fastener tape 20; an element attaching step ST2 of sewing the fastener element row 30 to one side edge portion of the lower surface 21 of the fastener tape 20; a calendering process ST3 in which the upper surface 22 of the fastener tape 20 is calendered by heat and pressure treatment; and a waterproof processing step ST4, in which a waterproof layer 40 is provided on the upper surface 22 of the fastener tape 20 subjected to the calendering.
In the calendering process ST3, the upper surface 22 of the fastener tape 20 is subjected to calendering by heat and pressure treatment using the calendering apparatus 50 shown in fig. 4. The heat and pressure treatment is a treatment of applying pressure so that the vertical dimension of the fastener tape 20 is smaller than that in the non-pressure state while applying heat to the fastener tape 20.
As shown in fig. 4, the calendering device 50 includes a heating roller 51 made of metal such as iron, and a rigid roller 52 made of epoxy resin or the like disposed to face the heating roller 51. As shown in fig. 5, the width of the heating roller 51 in the rotational axis direction and the width of the rigid body roller 52 in the rotational axis direction are set to such dimensions that the pair of fastener tapes 10 can be handled simultaneously. When the fastener element rows 30 of the pair of fastener element tapes 10 are supplied to the calendering device 50, they are engaged with each other.
The heating roller 51 is disposed on the upper surface 22 side of the fastener tape 20. The outer peripheral surface of the heating roller 51 is formed into a straight cylindrical surface along the rotational axis direction. The heating roller 51 can control the temperature of the roller itself, and can heat the fastener tape 20 to a desired temperature.
The rigid body roller 52 is disposed on the lower surface 21 side of the fastener tape 20. The outer peripheral surface of the rigid body roller 52 is formed into a straight cylindrical surface along the rotational axis direction. As shown in fig. 5, a groove 52a for accommodating the fastener element rows 30 of the pair of fastener tapes 10 is formed around the entire outer peripheral surface of the rigid body roller 52. The rigid roller 52 may be an elastic roller, a paper roller, a cotton roller, or the like.
When the pair of fastener chain tapes 10 are subjected to the calendering process using the calendering device 50 configured as described above, the heating roller 51 is heated to a predetermined temperature, then the heating roller 51 and the rigid body roller 52 are rotated at a predetermined speed, and the pair of fastener chain tapes 10 are supplied between the rotating heating roller 51 and the rigid body roller 52.
At this time, the fastener tape 20 passes between the heating roller 51 and the rigid body roller 52, and the upper surface 22 of the fastener tape 20 is heated by the heating roller 51 while the fastener tape 20 is pressed in the tape thickness direction by the heating roller 51 and the rigid body roller 52. Further, the fastener element rows 30 of the pair of fastener tape 10 are accommodated in the grooves 52a of the rigid body roller 52 when the fastener tape 20 passes between the heating roller 51 and the rigid body roller 52. Further, the groove 52a of the rigid body roller 52 also has a function of guiding the penetration of the pair of fastener tapes 10.
The heating temperature of the heating roller 51 for heating the fastener tape 20 is set to be not more than the softening point of the yarn constituting the fastener tape 20, and in the case of, for example, polyester yarn, the heating temperature of the fastener tape 20 is preferably 150 to 250 ℃. The roller pressure is preferably, for example, 100mN to 200 mN. In addition, in the case where the fastener tape 20 is formed using yarns made of a plurality of kinds of resins, the heating temperature of the fastener tape 20 is set to be equal to or lower than the lowest softening point among the yarns. In addition, by setting the heating temperature of the fastener tape 20 as described above, melting of yarns constituting the fastener tape 20 and welding between the yarns can be prevented, and the flexibility of the fastener tape 20 can be maintained.
By applying the above-described calendering to the fastener tape 10, the fastener tape 20 is heated and pressed while maintaining the shape of the fastener element row 30. Thereby, the yarn constituting the fastener tape 20 is deformed in a flat shape in cross section, and the upper surface 22 of the fastener tape 20 is flattened.
As described above, according to the method of manufacturing the fastener tape of the present embodiment, the waterproof layer 40 is provided on the upper surface 22 of the fastener tape 20 flattened by the calendering because the waterproof layer 40 is provided in the waterproof processing step ST4 in which the waterproof layer 40 is provided on the upper surface 22 of the fastener tape 20 after the calendering processing step ST3 in which the calendering processing by the heating and pressing processing is performed on the upper surface 22 of the fastener tape 20. Therefore, the surface (upper surface) of the waterproof layer 40 can be given a gloss as polished. Therefore, water resistance can be obtained, and the appearance of the slide fastener SF can be improved.
In addition, in the case of attaching a waterproof layer (film) to a conventional fastener tape which has not been subjected to calendering with an adhesive, if the layer of the adhesive is thin, the irregularities of the fastener tape are transferred to the surface (upper surface) of the waterproof layer. In contrast, in the case of the present invention, since the upper surface of the fastener tape is flattened by the calendering, even if the layer of the adhesive is thinned, the irregularities of the fastener tape are hardly transferred to the surface (upper surface) of the waterproof layer, and a smooth appearance can be obtained. In addition, since the layer of the adhesive can be made thin, the amount of the adhesive used can be reduced, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced. Further, since the drying time of the adhesive can be shortened, productivity can be improved.
(embodiment 2)
Next, a slide fastener according to embodiment 2 of the fastener element tape according to the present invention will be described with reference to fig. 6 to 8. The same or equivalent portions as those in embodiment 1 are denoted by the same or equivalent reference numerals, and the description thereof will be omitted or simplified.
As shown in fig. 6 and 7, the fastener tape 10B of the present embodiment includes a fastener tape 60, fastener element rows 70 attached to a core portion 61 provided at one side edge portion of the fastener tape 60, and a waterproof layer 40 provided on an upper surface 62 of the fastener tape 60.
The fastener tape 60 may be a tape produced by weaving or a tape produced by knitting, and may be produced to have a predetermined width, a predetermined thickness, and a predetermined structure by using a loom or a knitting machine. Examples of the yarn constituting the fastener tape 60 include polyester yarn.
Further, a core portion 61 is provided along the tape longitudinal direction at one side edge portion of the fastener tape 60. The core portion 61 is a portion formed to have a thickness in the up-down direction larger than that of the portion of the fastener tape 60 other than the core portion 61.
The fastener element row 70 is constituted by a plurality of fastener elements 71, and the fastener elements 71 are injection-molded using a synthetic resin. Examples of the synthetic resin material of the fastener element 71 include polyamide, polyacetal, polypropylene, polybutylene terephthalate, and the like. The fastener element 71 may be a metal fastener element.
Then, the upper surface 62 of the fastener tape 60 is subjected to calendering by heat and pressure treatment, and the waterproof layer 40 is provided on the upper surface 62 of the fastener tape 60 subjected to the calendering. Accordingly, since the waterproof layer 40 is provided on the upper surface 62 of the fastener tape 60 flattened by the calendering, gloss can be imparted to the surface (upper surface) of the waterproof layer 40 in a polished state, and the appearance of the slide fastener SF using the fastener element tape 10B can be improved.
As described above, according to the fastener tape 10B of the present embodiment, the waterproof layer 40 is provided on the upper surface 62 of the fastener tape 60 flattened by the calendering, and therefore, the surface (upper surface) of the waterproof layer 40 can be given gloss as polished. Therefore, the waterproof property can be obtained, and the appearance of the slide fastener SF can be improved.
Next, embodiment 2 of the method for manufacturing a fastener tape according to the present invention will be described with reference to fig. 8.
As shown in fig. 8, the manufacturing method of the present embodiment includes: a tape producing step ST21 of producing the fastener tape 60; a calendering process ST22 in which the upper surface 62 of the fastener tape 60 is calendered by heat and pressure treatment; a waterproof processing step ST23 of providing a waterproof layer 40 on the upper surface 62 of the fastener tape 60 subjected to the calendering; and an element attaching step ST24 of injection molding the fastener element row 70 in the core portion 61 of the fastener tape 60.
As described above, according to the method of manufacturing the fastener tape of the present embodiment, the waterproof layer 40 is provided on the upper surface 62 of the fastener tape 60 flattened by the calendering because the waterproof layer 40 is provided in the waterproof processing step ST23 in which the waterproof layer 40 is provided on the upper surface 62 of the fastener tape 60 after the calendering processing step ST22 in which the calendering processing by the heating and pressing processing is performed on the upper surface 62 of the fastener tape 60. Therefore, the surface (upper surface) of the waterproof layer 40 can be given a gloss as polished. Therefore, the waterproof property can be obtained, and the appearance of the slide fastener SF can be improved.
Other configurations and operational effects are the same as those of embodiment 1.
The present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above, and can be modified as appropriate without departing from the scope of the present invention.
For example, in order to improve the water repellency, a water repellent agent or an oil repellent agent may be added to at least one of the fastener tape and the fastener element row. In this case, a water repellent agent or an oil repellent agent is applied after the water repellent layer is provided on the fastener tape.
