Abstract

本申请实施例公开了一种数据备份方法及终端，涉及存储技术领域，可以在终端无法使用时，备份终端中的用户数据。具体方案为：终端中包括第一数据分区，该第一数据分区支持终端开机时启动操作系统。终端检测到终端开机失败或者检测到用户的预设操作后，使用第二数据分区启动操作系统。其中，第二数据分区为空白的数据分区。操作系统启动成功后，终端向第一存储介质传输第一数据分区中的用户数据。其中，第一存储介质是位于终端外部且与该终端连接的存储介质。
