Description
Technical Field
The disclosure relates to the technical field of vehicle parts, in particular to a steering shaft shield component of a steering column, a steering column assembly and a vehicle.
Background
The operating end of the vehicle steering system is a steering wheel and is positioned in a cab, the executing structure is arranged on a chassis and is positioned outside the cab, and a steering shaft of a steering column needs to penetrate through a through hole formed in a vehicle body. In order to ensure the sealing performance of the driving interior, a sealing device, generally a protective cover, needs to be arranged when the steering shaft penetrates through the vehicle body. Since the steering shaft needs to rotate with the steering wheel, the steering shaft itself has large installation tolerances and relative movements due to the connection between the steering inner and outer portions. Therefore, a large clearance is usually reserved between the boot and the steering shaft. And meanwhile, lubricating grease is coated, so that smooth rotation friction between the rotating shaft and the protective cover is ensured. However, the clearance between the shield and the steering shaft is large, which results in poor sealing performance, and is likely to cause water inflow and ventilation. And because the protective cover is usually made of hard materials,
in addition, poor lubrication caused by loss and aging of the lubricating grease after the lubricating grease is used for a period of time occurs, abnormal sound occurs, and noise is increased.
Disclosure of Invention
The steering column comprises a steering shaft shield assembly, a steering column assembly and a vehicle, wherein the steering shaft shield assembly comprises a shield body and a shield cover, the shield cover is arranged on the steering shaft shield assembly, the shield cover is arranged on the shield cover, the shield cover is arranged on the steering shaft shield assembly, and the shield cover is arranged on the shield cover.
In order to achieve the above object, the present disclosure provides a steering shaft shield assembly of a steering column, including a shield including a cylindrical portion for a steering shaft of the steering column to pass through and an annular flange extending substantially in a radial direction from one end of the cylindrical portion, the annular flange being for mounting to a vehicle body, and a bearing embedded in the other end of the cylindrical portion for fitting with the steering shaft of the steering column, the cylindrical portion being configured as a bellows structure so as to be easily deformed.
Optionally, the steering shaft shield assembly further comprises a pressing plate and a fastening piece, the annular flange is provided with a first surface and a second surface which are opposite to each other, the first surface is used for being in sealing contact with the vehicle body, the pressing plate is arranged on the second surface, and one end of the fastening piece penetrates through the pressing plate and the annular flange in sequence so as to fix the steering shaft shield assembly of the steering column on the vehicle body.
Optionally, the steering shaft shield assembly further comprises a sealing ring disposed on the first surface, and the sealing ring is disposed around the steering shaft of the steering column when the steering shaft shield assembly of the steering column is assembled to the body.
Optionally, an annular groove is provided on the first surface, and the sealing ring is partially embedded in the annular groove.
Optionally, the sealing ring is a plurality comprising a first sealing ring and a second sealing ring, the first sealing ring being located within an area defined by an inner periphery of the second sealing ring.
Optionally, the steering shaft shield assembly further comprises a fixing post for fixing the pressure plate on the annular flap.
Optionally, the pressure plate is configured as an annular pressure plate and is adapted to the size and shape of the annular flange.
Optionally, the bearing is a nylon lubricated bearing.
According to another aspect of the present disclosure, a steering column assembly is provided, which includes a steering shaft of a steering column and the steering shaft shield assembly of the steering column, wherein the steering shaft of the steering column is inserted into the shield and is matched with the inner ring of the bearing.

Detailed Description
The following detailed description of specific embodiments of the present disclosure is provided in connection with the accompanying drawings. It should be understood that the detailed description and specific examples, while indicating the present disclosure, are given by way of illustration and explanation only, not limitation.
In the present disclosure, unless otherwise specified, the use of directional terms such as "upper" and "lower" generally means that the terms are defined with reference to the accompanying drawings, and "inner" and "outer" mean that the components are inner and outer. In addition, the terms "first", "second", and the like used in the embodiments of the present disclosure are for distinguishing one element from another, and have no order or importance.
As shown in fig. 1 to 3, the present disclosure provides a steering column steering shaft shield assembly including a shield 10 and a bearing 20, the shield 10 including a cylindrical portion 11 for a steering shaft 30 of a steering column to pass through and an annular bead 12 extending substantially in a radial direction from one end of the cylindrical portion 11, the annular bead 12 being for mounting to a vehicle body 200, the bearing 20 being embedded in the other end of the cylindrical portion 11 for cooperation with the steering shaft 30 of the steering column, the cylindrical portion 11 being configured as a bellows structure so as to be easily deformed.
In the present disclosure, the bearing 20 is disposed to cooperate with the steering shaft 30 of the steering column, so that the shield 10 is indirectly contacted with the steering shaft 30 of the steering column, and the abrasion of the two due to the direct contact is avoided. In the present disclosure, the shield 10 and the steering shaft 30 of the steering column can be protected, compared to the case where the related art shield is worn in direct contact with the rotating shaft of the related art steering column.
Moreover, since the cylindrical portion 11 is configured as a bellows structure, when an external force is applied due to the fact that the steering shaft 30 of the steering column is not concentric with the center hole of the cylindrical portion 11, the cylindrical portion 11 in the bellows structure can be deformed to ensure that the bearing 20 at the other end (the upper end as shown in fig. 3) of the shield 10 is concentric with the steering shaft 30 of the steering column, thereby preventing the steering shaft 30 of the steering column and the bearing 20 from being eccentrically worn, ensuring the sealing performance of the connection between the steering shaft 30 of the steering column and the shield 10, and solving the problem of air leakage caused by the excessively large gap between the steering shaft of the steering column and the via hole of the vehicle body floor in the related art.
In order to ensure the sealing performance of the contact portion of the annular flange 12 and the vehicle body 200 after the steering column steering shaft shield assembly is mounted on the vehicle body 200, optionally, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, in an embodiment of the present disclosure, the steering column steering shaft shield assembly further includes a pressure plate 40 and a fastening member 50, the annular flange 12 has a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other, the first surface is used for being in sealing contact with the vehicle body 200, the pressure plate 40 is disposed on the second surface, and one end of the fastening member 50 sequentially penetrates through the pressure plate 40 and the annular flange 12 to fix the steering column steering shaft 30 shield assembly on the vehicle body 200, so as to ensure the sealing performance of the connection of the annular flange 12 and the vehicle body 200.
Since the cover 10 is made of a soft material and is usually made of rubber, in the present embodiment, the pressing plate 40 is provided to cooperate with the fastening member 50 (e.g., a bolt) to press the annular flange 12, so that on one hand, the reliability and stability of the installation of the cover 10 on the vehicle body 200 can be ensured, and on the other hand, the sealing performance of the contact portion of the annular flange 12 and the vehicle body 200 can be favorably ensured by the pressing force of the pressing plate 40.
Moreover, the protection casing of prior art passes through the draw-in groove admittedly on vehicle body floor, specifically, through the draw-in groove joint on vehicle body floor's via hole's periphery, during the installation, the installation is all comparatively inconvenient with the dismantlement. In the present disclosure, the cover 10 can be fixed to the vehicle body 200 by using the fastening member 50, and the mounting and dismounting are convenient. Moreover, compared with the mode of fixing the clamping groove, the fixing mode is more reliable and stable.
It is understood that in other embodiments of the present disclosure, the pressing plate 40 may not be provided, and the annular flange 12 may be configured as a double-layer structure, the upper layer being a hard material layer, such as a metal layer, and the lower layer for contacting with the vehicle body 200 being an elastic material layer, such as a rubber layer, so that both the structural strength and the mounting strength of the annular flange 12 and the sealing property of the connection of the shroud 10 with the vehicle body 200 can be ensured.
Further, as shown in fig. 3, in one embodiment of the present disclosure, the steering column's steering shaft shield assembly may further include a sealing ring 60, the sealing ring 60 being disposed on the first surface, and the sealing ring 60 being disposed around the steering column's steering shaft 30 when the steering column's steering shaft shield assembly is assembled to the vehicle body 200. Thus, the sealing ring 60 can perform a good sealing function after being pressed by the pressing plate 40, and the surface of the shield cover contacting the vehicle body is a common plane, and has no pressing force, so that the sealing performance is poor.
In the present disclosure, the sealing ring 60 may be pre-installed on the annular flange 12, for example, pre-installed on the first surface, or the sealing ring 60 may be placed between the annular flange 12 and the corresponding portion of the vehicle body 200 when the steering column shaft shield assembly is assembled to the vehicle, which is not limited in the present disclosure as long as the sealing performance between the annular flange 12 and the vehicle body 200 can be ensured.
As shown in fig. 3, in one embodiment of the present disclosure, the sealing ring 60 may be pre-installed on the annular flange 12, specifically, the first surface is provided with an annular groove, and the sealing ring 60 is partially embedded in the annular groove. Thus, when the steering shaft shield assembly of the steering column needs to be mounted on the vehicle body 200, the annular flange 12 can be directly connected with the vehicle body 200, and the step of sleeving the sealing ring 60 is omitted.
It will be appreciated that there are a variety of ways to pre-mount the sealing ring 60 on the annular flange 12, and in other embodiments of the present disclosure, the sealing ring 60 may be bonded to the first surface of the annular flange 12.
Further, as shown in fig. 3, the sealing ring 60 may be multiple, and includes a first sealing ring 61 and a second sealing ring 62, where the first sealing ring 61 is located inside the second sealing ring 62, that is, the first sealing ring 61 and the second sealing ring 62 are sleeved. In this way, by the double sealing, the sealability of the annular flange 12 in contact with the vehicle body 200 is further improved, thereby improving the sealability of the steering column shield assembly in connection with the vehicle body 200.
It should be noted that, in the present disclosure, the specific shape of the sealing ring 60 is not limited, and may be a circle, an ellipse, or an irregular circle as shown in fig. 3, and may be determined according to factors such as the shape of the annular flange 12, the shape of the surface of the vehicle body 200 for connecting with the steering shaft shield assembly of the steering column, and the like.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, in one embodiment of the present disclosure, the steering column steering shaft shield assembly further includes a fixing post 70, and the fixing post 70 is used to fix the pressing plate 40 on the annular flange 12. By providing the fixing posts 70, the pressing plate 40 and the shroud 10 can be fixed together in advance before the steering column steering shaft shroud assembly is mounted to the vehicle body 200.
It will be appreciated that in other embodiments of the present disclosure, the fixing posts 70 may be omitted and the platen 40 may be secured directly to the second surface of the annular flange 12, for example by adhesive bonding.
In the present disclosure, the platen 40 may have any suitable shape and configuration. As shown in fig. 1 and 2, in one embodiment of the present disclosure, the pressure plate 40 is configured as an annular pressure plate 40 and is adapted to the size and shape of the annular flange 12, i.e., the pressure plate 40 is configured as an annular pressure plate 40 and is approximately the same size and shape as the annular flange 12. Therefore, the pressing effect of the pressing plate 40 on the annular flanging 12 is ensured, the size of the pressing plate 40 can be saved, and the cost is reduced.
In addition, the material of the pressing plate 40 is not limited in the present disclosure, and the pressing plate 40 may be a pressing plate having a certain structural strength, such as a metal pressing plate or a nylon pressing plate.
Also, the present disclosure is not limited as to the type of bearing 20. Alternatively, in one embodiment of the present disclosure, the bearing 20 may be a nylon lubricated bearing to ensure a smooth effect, reduce friction, and thereby ensure the smoothness of the rotation of the steering shaft 30 of the steering column within the shroud 10.
According to another aspect of the present disclosure, a steering column assembly is provided, which comprises a steering column steering shaft 30 and the steering column steering shaft shield assembly described above, the steering column steering shaft 30 is disposed through the shield 10 and engaged with the inner race of the bearing 20.
