As will be understood by those skilled in the art from the following description, the method of the present invention may further include a plurality of determination methods performed for a plurality of cases of the received return information and a plurality of transmission modes of the inquiry information, so as to further improve the efficiency of the confirmation work and further reduce the performance loss of the device.
Various embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 1 is a flow diagram generally illustrating a method of determining application download paths in accordance with the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, a method 100 of determining an application download path is provided and may include: in response to detecting that the application is downloaded, obtaining a user identification of a user downloading the application S1; sending query information to one or more promotion terminals promoting the application to query whether the application is downloaded through the promotion terminals S2; and receiving the return information of the promotion terminal to judge the downloading path of the application S3.
As shown in step S1 of fig. 1, in response to detecting that the application is downloaded, the method 100 according to the present invention may correspond the user identifier of the user downloading the application to the behavior of the current application download by obtaining the user identifier. In a specific operation, detecting that the application is downloaded may also be implemented by detecting that the application is running, for example, in an embodiment, a server at the application development end detects that the application is running for the first time, which indicates that the application has been downloaded, that is, the method 100 detects that the application is downloaded.
The user identity as described above may be at least one of a user identity, a device identity, an advertisement identity IDFA, etc. The user identity may be user information collected by the first run of the application or registration information collected by the user registration, etc. The device identification may be at least one of a model number, a serial number, an identification number, an address, etc. of the device downloading the application. The advertisement identification IDFA may be information including an advertisement identifier or the like provided by the vendor of the device downloading the application for tracking the user.
As shown in step S2 of fig. 1, the method 100 according to the present invention may send the query information to the promotion terminal simultaneously or sequentially or according to a desired sequence, etc. The method 100 may send query information to one or more (e.g., some or all) of the promotion clients that promote the application to query whether the application is downloaded via a download path provided by the promotion clients. The promotion end may refer to a party for promoting an application and providing an application download path. In one embodiment, the query information may include at least one of the user identification, an application identification of the application, and a query request whether to download the application. The application identifier may be an identifier representing an application, and may be, for example, a name, a symbol, a preset number, or the like of the application. In one embodiment, the query message may be implemented in words, signals, codes, passwords, instructions, and the like.
In step S3 shown in fig. 1, the method 100 may determine the download route of the application by receiving return information of one or more promotion terminals and according to the content of the return information. In one embodiment, the method 100 may include determining a download path of the application based on whether the return message is received. According to another embodiment of the present invention, the return information may include at least one of the user identifier, a promotion identifier, and confirmation information whether to download the application. The promotion end identifier may be an identifier for representing the identity of the promotion end, such as a name, a symbol, a preset number, and the like of the promotion end. The confirmation information of whether to download the application may include information confirming the download or information denying the download, etc. The return information may include information fed back by the promotion terminal in response to the inquiry information, or may include download information actively sent by the promotion terminal, or the like. In one embodiment, the return information may be implemented in words, signals, codes, passwords, or the like. In another embodiment, the method 100 in step S3 may determine the downloading route of the application by comparing the received returned information with the acquired information to determine whether the received returned information and the acquired information match. For example, in another embodiment, the method 100 may compare and match the user identifier in the received return message with the user identifier obtained in step S1 to determine whether the download path of the application is the promotion end corresponding to the return message.
The method of determining application download paths according to the present invention is generally described above in conjunction with fig. 1, and can be adapted as needed by those skilled in the art in light of the teachings of the present disclosure. For example, the sending mode of the query information, the receiving mode of the return information, the content and implementation mode required to be included in the query information, the content and implementation mode required to be included in the return information, and the like can be set as required. In order to facilitate understanding of the technical solution of the present invention, an application environment of the method of the present invention will be described with reference to fig. 2.
Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of an application environment illustrating a method of determining an application download path according to an embodiment of the present invention. The method for determining an application download path according to the present invention (e.g., the method shown in fig. 1) can be applied to an application environment as shown in fig. 2, wherein a device (e.g., a terminal) 110 used by a user for downloading an application can communicate (through, for example, a network, etc.) with a server 120 of an application development end, and the server 120 of the application development end can communicate (through, for example, a network, etc.) with one or more servers (e.g., 130-1, 130-2, 130-3 in the figure) of a promotion end. The device 110 used by the user to download the application may be, but is not limited to, various personal computers, laptops, smartphones, tablets, portable wearable devices, and the like. The server 120, the server 130-1, the server 130-2, the server 130-3, etc. in the illustration may be implemented as individual servers or as a server cluster of multiple servers.
As shown in fig. 2, the process in which the method 100 according to the invention is applied in this environment may be: in step S1, in response to detecting that the application is downloaded, the server 120 of the application development end may obtain a user identifier of the user who downloaded the application, such as the device identifier of the device 110 in the illustration, user identity information input by the user through the device 110, and the like; in step S2, the server 120 at the application development end sends query information to one or more of the servers 130-1, 130-2, and 130-3 at the promotion end promoting the application, so as to query whether the application is downloaded through the promotion end; in step S3, the server 120 at the application development end determines the download route of the application by receiving the return information from one or more of the servers 130-1, 130-2, and 130-3 at the promotion end.
While the practical application of the method for determining the application download path according to the embodiment of the present invention is exemplarily described above with reference to fig. 2, it should be understood by those skilled in the art that the illustration in fig. 2 is exemplary and not limiting, for example, the server at the promotion end may not be limited to three in the illustration, and may be more or less according to the requirement. The manner in which the server of the application development end sends the query information to the server of the promotion end may not be limited to the parallel manner shown in the figure, for example, in one embodiment, the server of the application development end may send the query information to the server of the promotion end sequentially in a polling manner. From the above description, it should be understood by those skilled in the art that the method according to the present invention can determine the download path of the application by receiving the return information, and another embodiment of the method will be described below with reference to fig. 3, which provides a solution for determining the download path of the application in the case that the return information is not received.
FIG. 3 is a flow diagram illustrating a method for determining application download pathways in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 3, according to another embodiment of the present invention, a method 100 for determining an application download path is provided, which may include: in response to detecting that the application is downloaded, obtaining a user identification of a user downloading the application S1; sending query information to one or more promotion terminals promoting the application to query whether the application is downloaded through the promotion terminals S2; receiving the return information of the promotion terminal to judge the downloading path of the application S3; and may further comprise: when the return information of any one promotion terminal is not received within a first predetermined time, determining that the downloading route of the application is from the application development terminal S4.
As shown in fig. 3, the order of steps S3 and S4 may be adjusted as needed, for example, steps S3 and S4 in the illustration may be performed in parallel. In another embodiment, step S3 may be performed prior to step S4. Step S1, step S2 and step S3 in the figure are already described in detail above, and will not be described herein again, and step S4 will be described in detail below.
As shown in step S4 in fig. 3, when the return information of any of the promotion terminals is not received within a first predetermined time, that is, when the return information of any of the promotion terminals is not received within a predetermined certain time range, it is determined that the downloading path of the application is from the own channel of the application development terminal. The application development end is a party for developing the application, and can promote the application by cooperating with the promotion end. If the user is an application downloaded through a download path of the promotion terminal, the application development terminal of the application needs to pay funds to the promotion terminal, so accurate identification of the download path is very important for the application development terminal. In a specific operation, if the application development end does not receive the return information of any promotion end promoting the application, the application downloading is determined to come from the downloading channel of the application development end. The first predetermined time may be set according to a feedback speed result of the big data analysis server, an empirical value, or according to needs (for example, a time range agreed by the application development end and the promotion end). The setting of the first predetermined time may be different in different application scenarios.
The method for determining the application download path including the non-reception of the return information according to the embodiment of the present invention is described above with reference to fig. 3, and the method can determine the download path of the application more comprehensively by classifying the multiple situations of the reception of the return information and the non-reception of the return information, and can control the rate of information feedback by setting the first predetermined time, thereby further improving the execution efficiency of the method. Further, a specific embodiment of determining the download route of the application for the return information of the promotion terminal received in step S3 of the method will be exemplarily described with reference to fig. 4.
Fig. 4 is a flow diagram illustrating a method for determining application download paths in accordance with another embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 4, the method 100 may include, in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention: in response to detecting that the application is downloaded, obtaining a user identification of a user downloading the application S1; sending query information to one or more promotion terminals promoting the application to query whether the application is downloaded through the promotion terminals S2; receiving the return information of the promotion terminal to judge the downloading path of the application S3; wherein the step S3 may further include: when one or more return messages are received and only one of the return messages is the message for confirming downloading, determining that the downloading route of the application is from the promotion terminal S31 corresponding to the return message; when a plurality of pieces of return information are received and at least two pieces of return information are information for confirming downloading, the inquiry information and the request for providing the downloading record are sent to at least two promotion terminals corresponding to the at least two pieces of return information again so as to confirm the downloading route of the application again S32; and when one or more return messages are received and all the return messages are messages of negative downloading, determining that the downloading route of the application comes from the application development terminal S33. Step S1 and step S2 in the figure have been described in detail in the foregoing, and are not described again here, and specific implementation manners S31, S32, and S33 of step S3 in this embodiment will be explained below.
As shown in step S31 in fig. 4, when the method 100 executes step S3, when only one of the received return information (S) includes information for confirming downloading, it may be determined that the current downloading route of the application is from the promotion end corresponding to the only one return information. The correspondence means that only one return message (for confirming the downloaded message) is sent by the promotion end.
As shown in step S32 in fig. 4, in an embodiment, on the premise that one return message corresponds to one promotion end, and one application download can be generally implemented only through one download route, when the method 100 executes step S3, when a plurality of return messages are received and at least two return messages of the plurality of return messages each include information for confirming the download, it cannot be determined from which of the at least two promotion ends corresponding to the at least two return messages the current download route of the application originates; the method 100 may therefore retransmit the information including the query information and the request to provide a download record (corresponding to the proof of download via that route) to at least two promotion clients that feedback confirmation download information in order to reconfirm the download route of the present download of the application. For example, in one embodiment, the method 100 may repeatedly perform steps S2 and/or S3 (e.g., steps S31, S32, S33) to determine the re-received return information until the unique download path is determined. In another embodiment, the method 100 may simultaneously issue an audible or visual alarm message to alert the operator when performing step S32.
As shown in step S33 in fig. 4, when none of the received return information (S) includes the information for confirming downloading, that is, all the received return information is the information for denying downloading, the method 100 may determine that the downloading route of the current downloading of the application is from the channel of the application development end when performing step S3.
While several embodiments of the method 100 for executing step S3 have been described above with reference to fig. 4, it should be understood by those skilled in the art that the descriptions shown in fig. 4 and above are exemplary and not restrictive, and that those skilled in the art may make settings and adjustments as needed, for example, the step S32 is executed based on operations set in a case where one return message corresponds to one promotion and one download path corresponds to one download path at a time of application, and in another embodiment, when one promotion can send two or more return messages, the download path of application may be directly determined without sending query messages again. Although steps S31, S32, and S33 are shown in the figure as being arranged in the above-below order, the method is not limited, and steps S31, S32, and S33 are all included in step S3, and the execution thereof is not limited to sequential execution, and the order of execution between the steps may be adjusted as needed, or may be set to synchronous execution as needed, and the like. In still another embodiment, step S3 may further set the time range for receiving the return information, for example, receiving the return information of the promotion end within the first predetermined time, and making a judgment based on the received return information, such setting may improve the confirmation efficiency. The above-described execution of steps S31, S32, and S33 in the method 100 is based on the determination of all the returned information received, and the implementation of step S3 may not be limited to the illustrated steps S31, S32, and S33, and another implementation of step S3 will be exemplarily described below with reference to fig. 5 and 6.
Fig. 5 is a diagram illustrating an application environment in which inquiry information is transmitted in a polling manner according to the present invention. As shown in fig. 5, the method for determining an application download path according to the present invention can be applied to an application environment as shown in fig. 5, wherein a device (e.g., a terminal) 110 used by a user for downloading an application can communicate (through, for example, a network, etc.) with a server 120 of an application development end, and the server 120 of the application development end can communicate (through, for example, the network, etc.) with one or more servers (e.g., 130-1, 130-2, 130-3 in the figure) of a promotion end.
According to an embodiment of the invention, the query information in the method according to the invention may be transmitted in a polling (shown by a one-way arrow in fig. 5). The polling may be to sequentially query each promotion end, and after obtaining a query result (for example, receiving return information of the polled promotion end or determining whether the polled promotion end is a download path of the application download), send query information to the next promotion end. For example, as shown in fig. 5, the process in which the method according to the invention is applied in this environment may be: the server 120 at the application development end, in response to detecting that the application is downloaded, may obtain a user identification of a user downloading the application, such as the device identification of the device 110 in the illustration, user identity information input by the user through the device 110, and the like; the server 120 at the application development end sequentially sends inquiry information to the servers 130-1, 130-2, 130-3 at the promotion end promoting the application in a polling manner (for example, according to the direction of the unidirectional arrow in the figure) to inquire whether the application is downloaded through the promotion end; the server 120 at the application development side may determine the download path of the application by receiving the return information of the servers 130-1, 130-2, and 130-3 at the promotion sides, which are sequentially queried.
The practical application of the method for sending inquiry information in a polling manner according to the present invention is exemplarily described above with reference to fig. 5, and it should be understood by those skilled in the art that the illustration in fig. 5 is exemplary and not limiting, for example, the server at the promotion end may not be limited to three in the illustration, and may be more or less according to the needs. Server 120, server 130-1, server 130-2, server 130-3, etc. may not be limited to being implemented as separate servers as illustrated, and in one embodiment, one or more of server 120, server 130-1, server 130-2, server 130-3, etc. may be implemented as a server cluster comprised of a plurality of servers. The device 110 used by the user to download the application may not be limited to the smart phone shown in the figure, but may be various personal computers, notebook computers, tablet computers, portable wearable devices, and the like.
Further, the order in which the server 120 of the application development end transmits the query information in a polling manner may not be limited to the direction (the direction indicated by the one-way arrow) in the drawing, and may be adjusted by those skilled in the art as needed, for example, the order may be the reverse of the direction in the drawing, or the order may be 130-2, 130-3, 130-1, and the like. In another embodiment, the server 120 at the application development end may sequentially query all of the promotion end servers 130-1, 130-2, 130-3 in the order shown by the single-headed arrow. In yet another embodiment, the server 120 at the application development end may query the portions of the servers 130-1, 130-2, 130-3 at the promotion end sequentially in the order shown by the single-headed arrows in the illustration, as will be described in detail below in conjunction with FIG. 6.
Fig. 6 is a flowchart illustrating a method of transmitting inquiry information in a polling manner according to the present invention. A method 100 for determining an application download path according to the present invention may comprise: in response to detecting that the application is downloaded, obtaining a user identification of a user downloading the application S1; sending query information to one or more promotion terminals promoting the application to query whether the application is downloaded through the promotion terminals S2; and receiving the return information of the promotion terminal to judge the downloading path of the application S3. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the query information may be transmitted in a polling manner, as shown in fig. 6, step S2 of the method 100 may include: sending inquiry information to one or more promotion terminals promoting the application in a polling manner to inquire whether the application is downloaded through the promotion terminals S21; and step S3 may include: and receiving the return information of the promotion terminals inquired in sequence according to the polling sequence to judge the downloading path of the application S34.
Step S1 shown in fig. 6 has already been described in detail in the foregoing, and is not described again here. When the method 100 executes step S21, the query message may be sent to one or more promotion terminals promoting the application in a polling manner, and the one or more promotion terminals may be part or all of the promotion terminals promoting the application, and may be adjusted as needed. The polling method has already been described with reference to fig. 5, and will not be described again here.
As shown in fig. 6, when the method 100 executes step S34, the return information of the promotion terminals queried in sequence may be received according to the polling sequence for sending query information, and it may be determined whether the promotion terminals queried in sequence are the downloading route of the application download. The order of polling may be set as desired. According to the method for determining the application download path by sending the inquiry information in the polling mode, each promotion end can be inquired in sequence and the return information can be received in sequence, so that the accuracy of information receiving and judgment can be ensured, and the problems that the return information of the promotion ends is disordered and the return information cannot correspond to the promotion ends and the like due to the fact that the return information of the promotion ends does not contain the promotion end identification can be effectively avoided.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, step S34 may include: when the returned information of the polled promotion end is received within second preset time and the returned information is the information for confirming downloading, terminating polling and determining that the downloading path of the application is from the promotion end corresponding to the returned information (namely the returned information comprising the information for confirming downloading); and when the returned information of the polled promotion terminals is not received or the received returned information is the information of negative downloading, sequentially inquiring the next promotion terminal until the polling is finished (namely all promotion terminals are inquired), and the returned information of any promotion terminal is not received or all the received returned information is the information of negative downloading, determining that the downloading path of the application is from the application development terminal.
According to the method of the embodiment, after the return information including the download confirmation information is received, the polling is terminated, the download path of the application can be determined without inquiring all the promotion terminals, the inquiry time can be saved to improve the inquiry efficiency, the inquiry times, the download path judgment times, the information interaction times with the promotion terminal server, the number of the promotion terminals for information interaction and the like can be effectively reduced, and therefore the performance loss of each device can be reduced.
The second predetermined time may be a preset time range, and is used to control the time for receiving the return information of each polled promotion end, so as to improve the query efficiency. The second predetermined time may be set as needed, or may be calculated according to big data analysis, empirical values, and the like. The second predetermined time for receiving the return information of each promotion end to which polling is performed may be the same or different, for example, in an embodiment, the second predetermined time for receiving the return information of each promotion end is the same, that is, the polling intervals are the same, and the method 100 may poll each promotion end at a constant speed. In another embodiment, the second predetermined time for receiving the return information of each promotion end may be different, the second predetermined time may be set individually according to different promotion ends, that is, the polling intervals are different, and the method 100 may poll each promotion end at variable speed (that is, the time required for polling each promotion end may be different), but the polling sequence may not be changed due to the different second predetermined times.
The method for transmitting inquiry information in a polling manner according to the present invention is exemplarily described above with reference to fig. 6, and those skilled in the art can adjust and set the above steps as needed. Although the polling method is described as an example of sending query information in this embodiment, it should be understood by those skilled in the art that the method for sending query information may include multiple methods, and those skilled in the art may select the method according to needs, such as synchronous sending, skip sending, and the like. Accordingly, under the teaching of the present disclosure, the skilled person can adapt the steps S2 and S3 in the method according to the present invention for different query message sending modes, and the adaptation still falls into the protection scope of the present invention.
