Abstract

技术领域
本发明大体上涉及轮胎制造,并且更具体地涉及一种用于形成轮胎部件、尤其是由第二弹性体封装的第一弹性体的连续条的设备,并且更具体地涉及一种密封剂材料的封装条。
背景技术
带有穿孔密封特性的充气轮胎为轮胎领域的技术人员所知。典型地,这样的轮胎包括典型地涂覆或喷洒在轮胎的内侧上的一层密封剂。密封剂还可与内衬和帘布层一起安置。密封剂层的问题是密封剂由于离心力可能在轮胎的高速操作期间迁移。因而,希望具有一种用于形成安装在轮胎的内侧上的封装密封剂的改进的方法和设备。
定义
“高宽比”表示轮胎的截面高度与其截面宽度的比率。
“轴向的”和“轴向地”表示平行于轮胎的旋转轴线的线或方向。
“胎圈”或“胎圈芯”通常表示轮胎的包括环形抗拉构件的部分,径向内胎圈与将轮胎保持到轮辋相关,其由帘布层帘线包绕并成形为带有或没有诸如胎圈芯包布、加强层、三角胶芯或填料、护趾胶和胎圈包布的其它加强元件。

“缓冲层”或“轮胎缓冲层”表示与带束层或带束层结构或加强带束层相同。
“胎体”表示轮胎帘布层材料的层压件及其他轮胎部件,其被切成适合拼接或已拼接成圆柱形或环形形状的长度。可在胎体被硫化以形成模制轮胎之前向胎体添加附加的部件。

“插件”表示典型地用于加强防爆型轮胎的侧壁的加强件;其还指位于胎面下面的弹性插件。
“帘布层”表示由涂有弹性体的径向配置或者以别的方式平行的帘线制成的帘线加强层。
“径向的”和“径向地”表示径向地朝着或远离轮胎的旋转轴线的方向。
“子午线帘布层结构”表示一个或多个胎体帘布层或者其至少一个帘布层具有相对于轮胎的赤道面以在65°到90°之间的角度取向的加强帘线。
“子午线轮胎”表示带束的或圆周限制的充气轮胎,其中,从胎圈延伸至胎圈的帘布层帘线相对于轮胎的赤道面以在65°到90°之间的帘线角度布置。
“侧壁”表示轮胎的在胎面与胎圈之间的部分。
“层压结构”表示由一层或多层的轮胎或弹性体部件(诸如内衬、侧壁和可选的帘布层)制成的未硫化结构。

具体实施方式
图1图示了双复合物(compound)条成形设备10的第一实施例,其适合用于制造被封装在第二橡胶复合物B中的第一橡胶复合物A(诸如密封剂)的连续的共同挤出条,如图5-图6中所示。双复合物条成形设备10不限于轮胎应用,并且例如可用于制造与轮胎不相关的其它橡胶部件,诸如传送带、软管、带等。双复合物条成形设备10可直接设置在用于将橡胶组成直接施加到轮胎、部件或其他部件成型设备的轮胎或部件成型台。
双复合物条成形设备10安装在可平移的支撑杆16上,所述可平移的支撑杆16可在支撑框架18的平行轨道17上前后滑动,使得双复合物条成形设备10能相对于轮胎成型机(未示出)前后平移。
如图1所示,双复合物条成形设备10包括优选地如所示并排布置的第一挤出机30和第二挤出机60。第一挤出机30具有用于接收如下更详细地描述的第一橡胶组成A的入口32。第一挤出机30由马达20驱动。第二挤出机60具有用于接收如下更详细地描述的第二橡胶组成B的入口62。第二挤出机60由电动马达50驱动。第一或第二挤出机30、60可包括适于加工橡胶或弹性体复合物的任何商用挤出机。挤出机可包括由本领域的技术人员所熟知的市售挤出机,如销钉型挤出机、双螺杆或单螺杆挤出机或环型挤出机。优选地,挤出机具有大约5的长度与直径比(L/D),但可从大约3至大约20变化。销钉型挤出机是优选的,但不限于此。
第一挤出机入口32接收第一复合物A,其示例在下面被更详细地描述。第一挤出机30用于使第一复合物A变热至在大约80℃至大约150℃、优选地大约90℃至大约120℃的范围内的温度,并且根据需要用于素炼橡胶组成。第一挤出机30的输出端34连接至第一齿轮泵42的入口端43。复合物A因而首先由第一挤出机30挤出,并且然后由第一齿轮泵42泵送到喷嘴80中。第一齿轮泵42用作计量装置和泵,并且可具有诸如行星齿轮、锥齿轮或其它齿轮的齿轮。
第二挤出机入口62接收第二复合物B,其示例在下面被更详细地描述。第二挤出机60用于使第二复合物B变热至在大约80℃至大约150℃、优选地大约90℃至大约120℃的范围内的温度,并且根据需要用于素炼橡胶组成。第二挤出机60的输出端64连接至第二齿轮泵44的入口端45,如图2A所示。复合物B因而由第二挤出机60挤出,并且然后由第二齿轮泵44泵送,所述第二齿轮泵44用作计量装置和泵,并且可具有诸如行星齿轮、锥齿轮或其它齿轮的齿轮。
第一和第二齿轮泵42、44可被容纳在单个壳体40中,并且彼此紧挨着安置,使得第一与第二齿轮泵的出口通道46、48同样紧挨着,如图2A所示。齿轮泵出口通道46、48被供给到喷嘴80的相应第一和第二喷嘴通道84、86中。图3A图示了喷嘴80的横截面侧视图。第一和第二喷嘴通道84、86由用于分开内部流动通路88、90的可拆插件92形成。图4C图示了可拆插件92的上表面93,所述上表面93形成使待封装的复合物A流动的第一喷嘴通道84。可拆插件92具有上表面,所述上表面终止于位于模具102的入口处的细长扁平部分94中。在插件的细长扁平部分94的每侧上有两个狭缝或短通路97、99,其便于复合物B围绕复合物A的封装流动。
第一和第二喷嘴通道84、86保持彼此分开,使得两种橡胶流动流不汇合,直到刚好在喷嘴的出口的上游。在流动模具102的入口处,复合物B的流动流围绕复合物A流流动,使得复合物A的连续条由复合物B的薄皮封装。因而,复合物A与B的流动流不混合到一起。
因而,本发明的设备生产由复合物B的外皮封装的复合物A的封装连续条。在图5B中示出了示例的条,其中按混合物的体积,密封剂为混合物的90%并且由10%的外壳或外皮封装。图5A图示了按混合物的体积由50%的外壳封装的50%的密封剂。图6A-6C图示了变化的密封剂量的并排比较。
复合物A与复合物B的体积比可被改变,如图6A所示,带有90%的复合物A,10%的复合物B,而图6B图示了80%的复合物A,20%的复合物B,并且图6C图示了50%的A,50%的B。A与B的体积比通过改变齿轮泵A与齿轮泵B的速度比来改变。
在一个实施例中,在美国专利No.4,359,078或美国专利No.6,837,287或美国申请No.10/917,620中描述了适合使用的密封剂材料,所述美国专利和美国申请通过引用由此并入。外皮材料被选择成容易地粘合至轮胎的内衬或其它层。优选地,外皮材料具有与密封剂条粘合至的轮胎部件之一相同的组成。
用于形成由第二复合物B封装的第一复合物A的复合物的连续条的方法包括以下步骤:通过第一挤出机挤出第一复合物A并且然后通过第一齿轮泵泵送第一复合物A并泵送到喷嘴的第一通路中,通过第二挤出机挤出第二复合物B并且然后通过第二齿轮泵泵送第二复合物B并泵送到喷嘴的第二通路中,其中第一与第二通路在喷嘴的模具出口的入口处结合到一起。优选地,第一和第二复合物离开喷嘴的模具出口,其中,第一复合物由第二复合物封装。喷嘴优选地具有将喷嘴分成分开的第一和第二通路的可拆插件,其中可拆插件具有用于邻近喷嘴的模具出口定位的远端,其中远端具有细长扁平部分。优选地,存在位于细长扁平部分的每端上的狭缝,以便于流的封装。更优选地,封装橡胶的体积与外皮的体积的比通过改变第一齿轮泵与第二齿轮泵的速度的比来改变。

Claims (9)
1.一种用于形成由第二复合物B封装的第一复合物A的连续条的设备,其特征在于,所述设备包括:
第一挤出机,其用于挤出第一复合物A,并具有连接至第一齿轮泵的出口;
第二挤出机,其用于挤出第二复合物B,并具有连接至第二齿轮泵的出口;
其中,所述第一齿轮泵的出口和所述第二齿轮泵的出口被供给到喷嘴的相应的第一通路和第二通路中,其中,所述第一通路和第二通路在喷嘴出口的上游彼此分开;
所述喷嘴具有用于形成所述喷嘴中的所述第一通路和第二通路的插件;和
其中,所述插件具有用于定位在所述喷嘴出口处的远端,其中,所述远端具有细长扁平部分。
2.根据权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于,存在位于所述插件的所述细长扁平部分的每端上的狭缝,以便于在所述喷嘴出口处的模具的入口处的流的封装。
3.根据权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于,所述插件是从所述喷嘴可拆除的。
