Abstract

The invention relates to a mobile information and control terminal and a remote ultrasonic diagnosis system. In certain embodiments, a remote ultrasound diagnostic system includes a mobile information and control terminal, a local host at a first location, and a remote host at a second location. A communication network connects the local host, the remote host, the mobile information and control terminal and the patient database. An ultrasonic diagnostic imaging system is connected to the remote host. The mobile information and control terminal is operated by an ultrasound diagnostic expert. The mobile information and control terminal retrieves patient information from the patient database and the ultrasound diagnostician directs the ultrasound diagnostic operator at the second location by providing ultrasound diagnostic control instructions to the ultrasound diagnostic operator. The ultrasonic diagnosis operator carries out ultrasonic diagnosis and examination on the patient according to the ultrasonic diagnosis control instruction, and transmits the ultrasonic diagnosis information of the patient back to the local host and the ultrasonic diagnosis expert in real time. The ultrasound diagnostician then generates and displays an ultrasound diagnostic report for the patient.

Description

Mobile information and control terminal and remote ultrasonic diagnosis system and using method thereof
Technical Field
The invention relates to an ultrasonic diagnosis technology, in particular to a mobile information and control terminal for a remote ultrasonic diagnosis system, the remote ultrasonic diagnosis system and a using method of the remote ultrasonic diagnosis system.
Background
An ultrasonic diagnostic system is a technique for performing diagnosis using an ultrasonic imaging technique. Ultrasonic diagnostic systems are commonly used to view body structures such as tendons, muscles, joints, blood vessels, and internal organs. The purpose of using ultrasound diagnostic systems is often to find the source of the disease or to exclude any cause. The practice of examining pregnant women using ultrasound is called obstetrical ultrasound, which is also widely used.
Ultrasound is a sound wave at a frequency higher than what can be heard by humans, typically in excess of 20,000 Hz. As shown in fig. 6, an ultrasound image, also called an sonogram, is made by an ultrasound diagnostician by sending ultrasound pulses into the body tissue of a patient 602 using a probe 612. The ultrasonic waves penetrate through the tissues of the human body to generate echoes, and different tissues can generate different echoes. These different echoes are imaged by imaging techniques to produce an acoustic image on a display device 611 of the ultrasonic diagnostic imaging system 610 and recorded by the ultrasonic diagnostic imaging system 610. An ultrasound diagnostician is typically an experienced radiologist that uses a probe 612 to ultrasonically diagnose a patient from different angles and different locations to understand the patient's condition and to obtain a definitive diagnosis. Such an ultrasonic diagnostician is a scarce resource, and in many areas, such as rural areas and remote mountain areas, it is likely that such an ultrasonic diagnostician cannot be found. This presents significant difficulties in diagnosing patients in rural areas and remote mountainous areas. Currently, many ultrasound diagnosticians must travel to these areas to make ultrasound diagnoses, which makes ultrasound diagnosis for patients in these areas very expensive using modern technology. Sometimes this is expensive and makes ultrasonic diagnosis impossible for patients in these regions, so that patients in these regions have to travel a long distance to a large city for ultrasonic diagnosis. Therefore, it is desirable to have an ultrasound diagnostic system that allows an ultrasound diagnostician to guide an ultrasound diagnostic operator 601 at any location to perform ultrasound diagnosis on a patient at different locations, thus not necessarily requiring that the ultrasound diagnostician be co-located with the patient.
