Description

Drain plug linkage device
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of drainage, in particular to a drain plug linkage device which is arranged on basins such as bathtubs, wash basins and hand basins and provides water storage or drainage for users to operate.
Background
As is well known, a drain plug linkage device or a pull-up drain device is widely installed in various basins, especially in a bathtub, a washbasin, etc. of a general bathroom, for example, the invention patent (abbreviated as patent one) of U.S. patent No. US8,136,179B2, which has clearly disclosed a drain plug linkage device, which includes a pull rod, a connecting rod, a pivot rod, a drain plug, etc., a user can push and pull the pull rod up and down to link the connecting rod, so that the pivot rod generates a lever action to control the drain plug to open or close a drain outlet at the bottom of a basin sink, thereby achieving the function of water storage or drainage.
Although the pivot rod of the first patent may be selectively inserted into one of the holes formed in the connecting rod through one end of the pivot rod to adjust and control the operating position of the drain plug, the pivot rod has a larger outer diameter through the smaller hole of the connecting rod, which makes the pivot rod difficult to disengage.
Furthermore, the second patent also includes a pull rod, a connecting rod, a lever member similar to the pivot rod of the first patent, and a drain plug, and the connecting rod is also provided with a plurality of holes, and is characterized in that a joint mechanism similar to a slide block is added, the joint mechanism can slide along the connecting rod, the lever member is provided with a plurality of circumferential ribs and grooves defined among the circumferential ribs, and after one end of the lever member is selectively inserted into one hole of the connecting rod, the joint mechanism can slide downwards along the connecting rod and be clamped into the corresponding groove, so as to prevent the lever member from moving along the axial direction, and achieve the effect of combining and clamping.
However, although the joint mechanism of the second patent can slide along the connecting rod, the sliding tightness of the two is not easy to control, for example, when the fit of the two is loose, the joint mechanism is easy to slide down below the connecting rod, so when installing the lever member, a user must first slide the joint mechanism up to the hole to be drilled, so as to install the lever member, and if the user does not pay attention, the user must pull the lever member away from the connecting rod to install again. When the fit of the two is tight, the joint mechanism may be held at a position above the connecting rod by the tightness, but relatively, the difficulty of sliding the joint mechanism is increased, and particularly, after a period of use, the sliding displacement is more difficult due to clogging or sticking caused by foreign matters, scales, and the like. In addition, although the engaging mechanism can be clamped in the groove of the lever member, the engaging mechanism is not designed with other positioning or elastic structures to prevent the engaging mechanism from loosening and sliding after being clamped, so that when a user operates the drain plug linkage device through the pull rod each time, the engaging mechanism is actuated, and therefore it is difficult to ensure that the engaging mechanism cannot be displaced upwards and loosened in the actuating process, and further the lever member and the connecting rod are separated from the clamped state.
Disclosure of Invention
Therefore, it is necessary to provide a drain plug linkage device for overcoming the above-mentioned drawbacks, in order to solve the problems in the prior art that the lever member and the connecting rod are not convenient to mount and are easy to be separated from the fastened state.
The application provides a drain plug linkage device, which mainly comprises a drain plug, a pull rod, a lever piece and a connecting rod group; the drain plug can be arranged at the opening at the bottom of a basin; one end of the lever component can be connected with the drain plug, and the other end can penetrate through the connecting rod group; one end of the pull rod can be operated by a user, and the other end of the pull rod is connected with the connecting rod set and can link the lever piece to actuate the drain plug in a lever type; wherein, the connecting rod group comprises a connecting rod and a fastener; the fastener can be installed in the connecting rod and can be transversely pressed to be elastically displaced to a release position and elastically restored to a fastening position after being released, and the lever member is allowed to pass through any positioning hole in the connecting rod when the fastener is in the release position, so that the lever member can be fastened and fixed on the connecting rod when the fastener is in the fastening position.
Above-mentioned drain plug interlock, because this buckle spare only need produce minimum slip displacement volume in this connecting rod, can produce the pine and detain the effect with the buckle, consequently, the operation between pine and buckle is very quick. Secondly, the user only needs to pass through the horizontal pressing and release the buckle piece, can accomplish the pine of this lever piece and buckle, or allow this lever piece to wear to stretch or take out from, consequently, it is very simple and easy quick in the operation, difficult production jamming or the not smooth phenomenon of slip. Moreover, no matter the lever piece is selectively arranged in any one positioning hole of the connecting rod, the operation of the fastener is not influenced, and the misoperation of assembly is not generated. The buckle piece is provided with an elastic part, so that the buckle combination of the buckle piece and the lever piece can be more firm.

the drain plug 10 can be disposed at an opening 2a at the bottom of a basin 2, and the basin 2 can be a bathtub, a washbasin, a hand basin, etc. commonly found in a bathroom and a toilet.
The pull rod 20 has an operation end 21 and a connection end 22, and the operation end 21 is used for the user to apply force, especially the upward pulling force and the downward pushing force.
The lever 30, as shown in fig. 3 to 5, has a first end 31 and a second end 32; the first end 31 is operatively connected to the drain plug 10; the lever member 30 is provided with a plurality of first engaging portions 33 along the axial direction.
The connecting rod assembly 40, as shown in fig. 6, includes a connecting rod 41 and a fastener 42; one end of the connecting rod 41 is connected to the connecting end 22 of the pull rod 20, and has a mounting slot 411 for the locking element 42 to be mounted therein, and allows the locking element 42 to elastically move to a locking position P1 when one side is pressed, and elastically return to a locking position P2 when released, as shown in fig. 7 and 8, the connecting rod further has a plurality of positioning holes 412 arranged at intervals along the axial direction and communicated with the mounting slot 411, so that the lever element 30 selectively passes through one of the positioning holes 412 and the mounting slot 411, and the mounting slot 411 is disposed on the side of the connecting rod 41 along the arrangement direction of the positioning holes 412. The locking member 42 has a plurality of second locking portions 421 spaced apart from each other along the axial direction, and is capable of allowing the lever member 30 to pass through the corresponding positioning hole 412 of the connecting rod 41 at the unlocking position P1, and preventing the lever member 30 from moving along the axial direction at the locking position P2 by locking one of the second locking portions 421 and the corresponding first locking portion 33.
In this embodiment, a transverse side of the mounting slot 411 of the connecting rod 41 defines a mounting entrance 414 between two opposite wall walls 413 for the locking element 42 to enter, and the opposite wall walls 413 are arranged with a plurality of holes opposite to each other along the axial direction at intervals for forming the positioning holes 412, as shown in fig. 9, and any two opposite positioning holes 412 are communicated with the mounting slot 411, one of the holes is a through hole 412a, and the other hole is a through hole 412 b. In other words, the second end 32 of the lever 30 can enter from any one of the through holes 412a of the connecting rod 41 and then sequentially pass through the mounting slot 411 and the corresponding through hole 412 b.
In this embodiment, the first latching portion 33 of the lever 30 and the second latching portion 421 of the latching member 42 can be latched and positioned with each other in a concave-convex manner.
Furthermore, at least one side wall 34 of the lever member 30 is provided with a plurality of limiting slots 330 along the axial direction, as shown in fig. 4, 5, 7 and 8, for forming the first locking portions 33 respectively. The locking member 42 is provided with a plurality of through holes 422 along the axial direction, as shown in fig. 6, a side wall of each through hole 422 is provided with at least one limiting flange 420 for forming the second locking portion 421, and the locking member can be laterally locked into the corresponding limiting locking groove 330 through the limiting flange 420.
Preferably, each first fastening portion 33 of the present embodiment has two vertically symmetrical limiting slots 330, and each second fastening portion 421 has two vertically symmetrical limiting flanges 330, so that the limiting slots 330 and the limiting flanges 330 can generate a more firm fastening effect. In addition, in order to ensure that the first latching portion 33 of the lever member 30 can be aligned with any corresponding second latching portion 421 of the latching member 42, the lever member 30 can be configured to have a non-circular cross section, and each positioning hole 412 of the connecting rod 41 is configured to be a non-circular hole, so that the lever member 30 can be restricted from rotating after passing through the positioning hole 412, thereby ensuring that any selected first latching portion 421 of the lever member 30 passing through the connecting rod 41 can be accurately aligned with any corresponding second latching portion 421 of the latching member 42. In this embodiment, the non-circular cross-section is configured as a rectangle, and the non-circular hole is configured as a rectangular hole.
In the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 6 to 8, the locking element 42 has at least one pressing portion 423 formed on one side opposite to the installation entrance 414 for a user to press and apply force in a transverse direction, and at least one elastic portion 424 formed on the other side for abutting against the opposite side wall 415 in the installation groove 411 to generate elastic deformation when the locking element 42 is elastically displaced to the unlocking position P1, and generating elastic restoring force after the pressing force is released, so that the locking element 42 is displaced to the locking position P2.
It should be noted that the snap position P2 can be a position where the elastic portion 424 is completely elastically restored, or a position where the elastic portion 424 is not completely elastically restored, and the difference is: if the snap position P2 is a position where the elastic portion 424 is not completely elastically restored, it indicates that the elastic portion 424 still has a partial elastic restoring force, so that the limiting flange 330 of the fastening member 42 can be laterally snapped into the corresponding limiting snap groove 330, and a transverse elastic force acts on the corresponding limiting snap groove 330 to a certain extent, so that the fastening effect is again improved.
In the present embodiment, the latch 42 has a plurality of wavy flanges formed on one side opposite to the mounting inlet 414, and each of the wavy flanges forms one of the pressing portions 423, and a plurality of long-strip-shaped legs formed on the other side, and each of the long-strip-shaped legs forms one of the elastic portions 424; the legs are respectively formed with an upper group and a lower group at two ends of the axis X of the locking member 42, and each group of legs is respectively inclined to extend towards two ends of the axis X, as shown in fig. 6, for example, an extension line X1 of each leg of the upper group and an extension line X2 of each leg of the lower group, which aims to balance the elastic force applied to the locking member 42 and prevent the locking member from being elastically biased towards any end of the axis X.
It is to be appreciated that, in order to prevent the locking member 42 from being disengaged from the mounting slot 411 of the connecting rod 41, the embodiment further provides a guiding inclined plane 426 and a hook slot 427 on two opposite outer side walls 425 of the locking member 42, as shown in fig. 6, 10, 11 and 12, and an elastic hook 416 capable of elastically expanding outwards is respectively disposed on two opposite walls 413 of the connecting rod 41, and can be smoothly hooked and positioned in each opposite hook slot 427 by the guiding inclined plane 426, so as to prevent the locking member 412 installed in the mounting slot 411 from being laterally disengaged and allow the locking member 42 to be laterally displaced between the unlocking position P1 and the locking position P2.
In addition, as shown in fig. 6, in order to ensure that the locking element 42 can perform a lateral sliding displacement in the mounting groove 411 of the connecting rod 41 more accurately and smoothly, a sliding guide structure is provided between the two, for example, a lateral guiding groove 428 is respectively provided on two opposite outer side wall surfaces 425 of the locking element 42, and a sliding block 417 is respectively provided on inner wall surfaces of two opposite wall walls 413 of the connecting rod 41, so that the sliding blocks 417 can be respectively nested in the guiding grooves 428 for a lateral sliding movement.
In the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 1 to 3, the drain plug linkage device 1 further includes a drain pipe seat 50, which is configured at the bottom opening 2a of the basin 2 and has a drain passage 51, and a drain opening 52 defined at the top end of the drain passage 51; the drain plug 10 is disposed on the drain pipe seat 50; the lever member 30 is lever-operatively mounted on the drain tube seat 50, and the first end 31 thereof can penetrate into the drain passage 51 to connect with one end of the drain plug 10, so as to actuate the drain plug 10 to open or close the drain opening 52.
In the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 3 and 13, an installation tube 53 protrudes from the outer peripheral wall of the drain tube seat 50, an installation cavity 531 is defined in the installation tube 53 and is communicated with the drain passage 51, two opposite sliding grooves 532 are disposed on the inner peripheral wall of the installation cavity 531, and a fastening groove 533 is disposed in each sliding groove 532. The lever member 30 is formed with a spherical portion 35, and is matched with an outer threaded sleeve 54 and an inner threaded sleeve 55 that are screwed with each other, two opposite elastic fins 541 extend from the outer peripheral wall of the outer threaded sleeve 54, and can elastically contract inward after being pressed, and then slide into the corresponding sliding slots 532 of the mounting tube 53, and the elastic fins 541 are respectively provided with a buckling block 542 that can be respectively buckled in the corresponding buckling slots 533 to limit the outer threaded sleeve 54 from being separated from the mounting tube 53. In addition, since the drain pipe seat 50a can be installed from top to bottom, the two-piece design of the body 501 and the drain port forming member 502 of the first embodiment is not required, but the drain port forming member 502 can be directly and integrally formed on the body 501, and therefore, the top end of the drain pipe seat 50a of this embodiment is directly and integrally formed with a drain port forming portion 520 for forming the drain port 52.
Furthermore, the outer peripheral wall of the drain pipe seat 50a is provided with a through hole 58 and two opposite grooves 59, the through hole 58 is communicated with the drain passage 51, and the grooves 59 are respectively provided with a buckling groove 591; the spherical portion 35 of the lever 30 is matched with a screw 61 and a nut 62 which can be screwed with each other, the outer peripheral wall of the screw 61 is connected with an elastic wing 612 through a supporting rib 611, the elastic wing 612 forms a pressing portion 613 on one side of the supporting rib 611, a hooking portion 614 on the other side, the ends of the hooking portions 614 are respectively formed with a hook 615, when the pressing portion 613 is pressed and applied with force, the hooking portions 614 are linked to expand and be embedded into the grooves 59 of the drainage pipe seat 50a, and the elastic wing 612 is elastically reset by releasing the pressing force, so that the hooks 615 are respectively hooked in the fastening grooves 591 to limit the screw 61 from being separated from the drainage pipe seat 50 a. The annular gasket 56 is positioned within a pocket 600 defined between the coil 61 and the nut 62 such that the ball 35 of the lever 30 passing through the coil 61 and the nut 62 is pivotally captured between the annular gaskets 56.
As can be seen from the above, the screw 61 of the present embodiment can be mounted on the drain socket 50a after the drain socket 50a is mounted and fixed on the bottom end of the basin 2.
Preferably, a part of the outer peripheral wall of the coil 61 of the present embodiment can penetrate into the drainage channel 51 through the through hole 58 of the drainage tube seat 50a, and a sealing washer 616 is installed on the outer peripheral wall of the penetrating part and can seal the inner peripheral wall of the through hole 58 of the drainage tube seat 50 a.
As shown in fig. 18, the present application also provides a third embodiment of a drain plug interlocking device, and the drain plug interlocking device 1b is substantially the same as the first embodiment, and the only difference is that:
the outer peripheral wall of the drain tube seat 50b of this embodiment extends with a screw joint 505, and a through hole 506 is formed inside the screw joint 505 and communicated with the drain channel 51. The spherical part 35 of the lever 30 is matched with a screwed pipe 71 and a cap 72 which can be screwed mutually, the screwed pipe 71 can be screwed on the screwed joint 505, and an annular concave arc surface 711 is formed inside the screwed pipe 71; the cap 72 is screwed into the screw pipe 71, and the annular gasket 56 is positioned inside the cap 72, so that the spherical portion 35 of the lever 30 passing through the cap 72 and the screw pipe 71 is pivotally limited between the annular concave arc 711 and the annular gasket 56.
The present application further provides a fourth embodiment of a drain plug interlocking device, which is substantially the same as the above embodiments, and the difference is as follows: the lever member 30 of the above embodiment is configured to pass through the portion of any one of the positioning holes 412 of the connecting rod 41, and the cross section thereof is configured to be non-circular; the positioning holes 412 of the connecting rod 41 are also configured to be non-circular, so that the lever 30 can pass through the connecting rod 41 to achieve the effect of being restricted from rotating, but not limited to the non-circular design, as shown in fig. 19, in this embodiment, the portion of the lever 30 for passing through any positioning hole 412 is configured to be circular in cross section, and a plurality of annular grooves are disposed on the outer peripheral wall of the portion to form the first latching portions 33, respectively, and at the same time, the positioning holes 412 of the connecting rod 41 are configured to be circular holes for allowing the lever 30 to pass through in a matching manner, as shown in fig. 20, preferably, the second latching portions 421 of the latching member 42 can also be configured to be concave arc-shaped flanges, as shown in fig. 21, so that when the latching member 42 is pressed to be at the release position P1, as shown in fig. 22, the lever 30 can also be allowed to pass through, when the pressing force is released and the elastic displacement is to the snap position P2, the pressing force can be elastically snapped into any one of the opposite annular grooves, as shown in fig. 23, so as to snap and position each other. Accordingly, no matter the lever 30 of the present embodiment passes through any one of the positioning holes 412 of the connecting rod 41 in any rotational direction, the second latching portion 421 of the latching member 42 can be smoothly latched into the first latching portion 33 disposed in the annular groove without being limited by the direction, so as to improve the convenience and efficiency of assembly.
From the above, the present application has the following features and advantages: first, the locking member 42 can generate the locking and unlocking effect only by generating a small sliding displacement in the connecting rod 41, so that the operation between the locking and unlocking is very fast.
Secondly, the user can release the buckle and the release of the lever 30 only by pressing and releasing the buckle 42 horizontally, or allow the lever 30 to be pulled or pulled, so the operation is very simple and fast, and the phenomenon of jamming or unsmooth sliding is not easy to occur. For example, the user can easily hold the connecting rod assembly 40 with one hand, press the latch 42 with the thumb, insert the lever 30 into a selected positioning hole 412 on the connecting rod 41, and release the pressing force at a proper position, so as to easily complete the assembling or adjusting operation of the lever 30 and the connecting rod assembly 40.
Third, no matter whether the lever 30 is selectively installed in any one of the positioning holes 412 of the connecting rod 41, the operation of the locking member 42 will not be affected, and particularly, the situation that the conventional engaging mechanism may accidentally slide down and be in an incorrect position when the lever is inserted through the lever will not occur.
Fourth, the latch 42 has an elastic portion 424, so that when the pressing force is released, the latch 42 elastically acts on the lever 30, or at least the lever 30 is limited in the positioning hole 412 of the connecting rod 41, and the latch 42 cannot be laterally displaced, or at least the latch 42 is not pressed, so as to ensure that the latch and the lever 30 are always in a latching state, and no matter how the latch is linked by the operation of the pull rod 20, the latch will not be separated from each other, so that the assembly is more secure and no separation is possible than the assembly of the conventional structure.
