Abstract
The mascara of the present invention contains polyurethane and a polar solvent.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an eyelash cosmetic.
Background
Conventionally, there are a waterproof type (hereinafter, WP type) composed of an oil material in which water resistance and curling power are important, and a thin film type (hereinafter, FM type) in which simple cleansing properties are important, which enables makeup removal with warm water without requiring a dedicated makeup remover or the like. However, in recent years, there has been a demand for a makeup remover that has water resistance and curling power and can easily remove makeup.
The FM type includes a type in which a coating film is formed using a urethane emulsion with water as a base material (patent document 1). Although the mascara is easily removed, the curling force is greatly deteriorated as compared with the WP type, and the market demand cannot be satisfied. In particular, since the polyurethane film is soft, it is necessary to add a large amount of an oil component such as wax as in patent document 1 or to increase the glass transition point (Tg) by mixing with an acrylic emulsion as in patent document 2, thereby supplementing the curling force. Patent documents 3 and 4 describe mascara containing polyurethane and propylene carbonate as an active agent for an organic mineral thickener. Patent document 5 describes an eyelash cosmetic containing a high molecular dye, which is characterized by being selected from sulfopolyester, polyamide, polyurethane and polyacrylic polymer, or a mixture thereof.

The amounts (contents) of the additives in the following examples and comparative examples are all% by mass.
< comparison with polar solvent 1 >
Sample preparation
As the coating agent, polyurethane-35 (BAYCUSAN C1010 (containing about 40% of polyurethane-35)), manufactured by Covestro Deutschland AG was used.
In each example, each polar solvent was added so that the content of each polar solvent was 10% based on the total amount of the film forming agent.
For the sebum resistance, water resistance, ease of warm water washing, drying property, stability, and breaking strength (in the case of immersion in water), a sample obtained by spreading a mixture of a coating agent and a polar solvent by a 60 μm spreading blade on a glass plate and drying the spread sample for 2 hours was used as a sample.
The stretchability was evaluated by using a sample obtained by pouring 2g of a mixture of a coating agent and a polar solvent into a silicone mold, drying the mixture in a thermostatic bath at 45 ℃ for 3 hours or more to form a uniform and thick film, cutting out a coating film taken out of the mold by 0.2cm × 5cm, placing a 5kg weight thereon, flattening the film, and cooling the sample.

< crimping force >
Formulation of
2 mascara compositions were formulated according to Table 2.
[ Table 2]
* 1. Lan Biaobai beeswax ( printed honey ), sanmukuchen chemical industry (strain)
* 2. Carnauba wax, east Asian chemical plant
* 3. Cellogen F-SH, first Industrial pharmaceutical (Strain)
* 4-Arabic gum powder, made by Sakai made from Sakai
Evaluation method
False eyelashes (Girl's Secret 01, a vendor, elizabeth (strain)) were prepared and each 1 bundle was disassembled. One of the 1 bundle of eyelash was attached to an upright plastic plate (see fig. 9 and 10) with the root of the false eyelash vertically downward, curled with an eyelash curler, and applied with eyelash cosmetics of the above formulation (examples 9 to 13) 30 times. The angle from the curled bottom to the tip of eyelash before and after 5 minutes of application was measured (see fig. 9 and 10). The measurement results are shown in table 3.
[ Table 3]
As a result of the test, the formulation of example 10 has improved curling force as compared with the comparative example (example 9). This is thought to be caused by the improvement in dryness and stretchability. That is, the film is considered to shrink more strongly during drying, and the curling power is considered to be improved. When ethoxydiglycol was changed from 10% (example 10) to 0.1% (example 11) relative to the sum of the film forming agent and the polar solvent, the formulation of example 11 did not exhibit as high a curling force as the formulation of example 10, but a curling force higher than the ratio of 9 (no polar solvent) was obtained. This effect was also confirmed when the film-forming agent concentration was low (the sum of the film-forming agent and the polar solvent was changed from 30% (example 10) to 1% (example 12)).
