Aiming at new construction, reconstruction, construction and established highways, a design unit, a management unit and a consultation unit gradually accumulate some BIM model components in the project implementation process, most of the BIM model components belong to reusable component resources, but because the highway engineering specialization degree is higher, the standards, BIM software and model depths are different, the effective utilization of the component resources is difficult to realize only by establishing a BIM model component library which meets the current project requirements, and meanwhile, because the formats and codes are not uniform, effective BIM information assets cannot be formed to support different application scenes in the industry design, construction and management stages.
