Detailed Description
In this embodiment, as shown in fig. 1, a video website or an operator of a video APP runs a server, and the server sends video and video information to a client used by a user.
The video information described in this embodiment includes visual thumbnail information and text description information. The visual thumbnail information refers to a thumbnail extracted from a video or a video clip with weakened picture quality; the text description information is text indicating information such as a file name, a file type, contents, a subject, a release date, and copyright-related information of the video.
For example, a plurality of thumbnails can be extracted from different time axis positions of one video, and a list is used to describe information such as a file name, a file type, content, a subject, a release date, copyright related information and the like of one video. Because the implementation of the video information display method of the embodiment is not affected by the amount of the visual thumbnail information and the text description information corresponding to one video, the simplified description processing is performed in the embodiment, one video has one thumbnail as the visual thumbnail information and one file name as the text description information, that is, there is a one-to-one correspondence relationship among the video, the visual thumbnail information and the text description information.
In this embodiment, the server may execute the video information display method, that is, the server executes all steps of the video information display method, reads out the visual thumbnail information and the text description information from the video stored in the server, generates a corresponding display signal, sends the display signal to the client, and displays corresponding content according to the display signal. The video information display method can also be executed by the client, namely, the client acquires visual thumbnail information and text description information of the video from the server, and executes all the steps of the video information display method to generate and display corresponding display signals.
The video information display method comprises the following steps:
s1, acquiring visual thumbnail information and text description information of at least one video; in the present embodiment, the four acquired videos are a music play shown in fig. 2, a television play shown in fig. 3, a documentary shown in fig. 4, and a sports game shown in fig. 5, respectively;
s2, respectively displaying the visual thumbnail information in each first display area of a display interface, and respectively displaying the text description information in each second display area of the display interface; a one-to-one correspondence relationship is formed between part or all of the first display area and the second display area; the display interface further displays at least one piece of mark information, and each piece of mark information is used for indicating the corresponding relation between the first display area and the corresponding second display area;
referring to fig. 6, the client is provided with a display interface, and a plurality of physical or virtual first display areas and second display areas can exist on the display interface through control of the client. In this embodiment, the first display areas and the second display areas are in one-to-one correspondence, that is, each first display area has a corresponding second display area.
Referring to fig. 7, by arranging the positions of the first display areas and the second display areas, for example, setting the distance between one first display area and the corresponding second display area to be closer, and setting the distance between the first display area and the other second display areas to be farther, the user can clearly see the corresponding relationship between the first display areas and the second display areas, that is, the mark information refers to the position relationship between the first display areas and the second display areas. It is also possible to control the display interface to display a frame with a specific color, and frame the first display area and the second display area with a corresponding relationship to highlight the corresponding relationship therebetween, that is, the mark information refers to such a frame.
And S3, enabling the visual thumbnail information displayed in at least one first display area and the text description information displayed in the corresponding second display area to come from different videos.
Steps S2 and S3 may be performed simultaneously, i.e., the result of the step S3 is directly displayed without displaying the result of the step S2 itself. One result of performing steps S1-S3 is shown in fig. 8, in which a first display area located at the upper left corner displays visual thumbnail information from a video of "drama", and a second display area corresponding thereto, i.e., a second display area located at the upper left corner displays textual description information from a video of "documentary"; the first display area positioned at the upper right corner displays visual thumbnail information from a video of 'TV play', and the second display area corresponding to the first display area, namely the second display area positioned at the upper right corner displays text description information from a video of 'music play'; the first display area at the lower left corner displays visual thumbnail information from a video of "documentary", and the second display area corresponding to the first display area, i.e., the second display area at the lower left corner displays textual description information from a video of "sports game"; the first display area located in the lower right corner displays visual thumbnail information from a video of "sports game", and the second display area corresponding thereto, i.e., the second display area located in the lower right corner displays textual description information from a video of "tv series".
Executing the steps S1-S3, by adjusting the combination relationship of the visual thumbnail information and the text description information, and making the visual thumbnail information and the text description information located in the corresponding first display area and second display area come from different videos, since the attention range of people is generally narrow and the short-term memory of people is generally short-lived, when the number of the first display area and the second display area is large, the user can only pay attention to one or a few first display areas and second display areas at the same time, and a colorful visual feeling can be generated; the adjusted visual thumbnail information and the adjusted text description information are displayed, and a user watching the video information can feel richer video information even under the condition that the quantity of the obtained video and the visual thumbnail information and the text description information thereof are not changed, so that the interest and the fun of watching the video are improved; the video information display method does not need to analyze historical browsing data of a specific user, so that the method has better universality and adaptability, can be realized without occupying excessive computing resources, does not display specific video information to the user for a long time due to the dependence on the historical data, and increases the diversity of the video information received by the user.
On the basis of performing the steps S1-S3, the following steps may also be performed:
s4, updating each visual thumbnail information displayed by each first display area and/or each text description information displayed by each second display area at least once;
and S5, enabling the updated visual thumbnail information displayed on the first display area and the character description information displayed on the corresponding second display area to be from different videos.
Steps S4 and S5 may be performed simultaneously, i.e., the result of the step S5 is directly displayed without displaying the result of the step S4 itself.
When step S4 is executed, in each update, new visual thumbnail information and/or text description information may be acquired, original visual thumbnail information and/or text description information in the first display area and the second display area may be deleted, and then new visual thumbnail information and/or text description information may be added, or only the positions of the original visual thumbnail information and/or text description information in the respective first display area and second display area may be exchanged without changing the original visual thumbnail information and/or text description information. Step S5 is executed such that no matter what updating is done in step S4, the rule of step S3 is not changed, i.e., the visual thumbnail information displayed in at least one of the first display areas and the textual description information displayed in the corresponding second display area are from different videos.
For example, steps S4 and S5 are performed on the display interface shown in fig. 8, and the display interface shown in fig. 9 and the respective visual thumbnail information and the textual description information displayed thereby can be obtained.
The steps S4 and S5 are executed, and the diversity of the visual thumbnail information and the text description information displayed in the display interface can be further increased by updating the visual thumbnail information in the first display area and the text description information in the second display area, so that the user feels rich choices and a good use experience is generated.
On the basis of performing the steps S1-S3 or steps S1-S5, the following steps may also be performed:
s6, detecting the operation acting on the display interface; specifically, when the display interface is displayed through a common display device, the operation of the user can be detected through an interactive device such as a keyboard and a mouse, and when the display interface is displayed through a touch screen, the operation of the user can be detected through the touch screen;
s7, positioning the detected operation, and determining the first display area or the second display area where the operation is located; detecting a first display area or a second display area where operations such as cursor or touch are located;
s8, starting to play a corresponding video according to the determined first display area or second display area; for example, when the user operates the display interface shown in fig. 8 and operates the first display area in the upper left corner, play of a music play is started; and when the television receiver operates in the second display area at the lower right corner, the playing of the television play is started.
By performing steps S6-S8, a user may be provided with an easy way of interacting, resulting in a what-you-see-is-what-you-get use experience.
Upon performing steps S1-S3, steps S1-S5, or steps S1-S8, the following steps may also be performed:
s9, acquiring a first total number obtained by accumulating the operations acting on all the first display areas and a second total number obtained by accumulating the operations acting on all the second display areas; specifically, in a preset time window or a time window set by a user, the number of operations acting on each first display area is accumulated, and a first total number is finally obtained; accumulating the number of the operations acting on each second display area to finally obtain a second total number;
s10, hiding all the second display areas under the condition that the first total number is larger than the second total number; when the first total number is greater than the second total number, that is, the first total number is greater than the second total number, this indicates that the user is more inclined to focus on the content of the first display area, and at this time, the display interface hides all the second display areas, that is, only the first display area is displayed, but not the second display area, which makes the display interface more concise;
s11, hiding all the first display areas under the condition that the second total number is larger than the first total number; in the case that the second total number is greater than the first total number, that is, the second total number is greater than the first total number, this indicates that the user is more inclined to focus on the content of the second display area, and at this time, the display interface hides all the first display areas, that is, only the second display area is displayed, but not the first display area, which makes the display interface more concise.
Upon performing the steps S1-S3, S1-S5, S1-S8, or S1-S11, the following steps may also be performed:
and S12, performing content exchange processing on at least one first display area and a corresponding second display area.
The content exchange processing is triggered by a preset timing trigger condition or a detected operation. For example, when a timer set by the server or the client reaches a set value, the content exchange process is triggered to be executed. Or a trigger button may be displayed in the display interface, and when it is detected that the user operates the trigger button, the content exchange processing is triggered to be executed.
After executing the content exchange processing, displaying the text description information from the same video as the originally displayed visual thumbnail information in the first display area in the second display area; and/or the visual thumbnail information from the same video as the text description information originally displayed in the second display area is displayed in the first display area.
By performing the content-swapping process on fig. 9, the display interface shown in fig. 10 and the visual thumbnail information and the textual description information displayed thereon can be obtained.
