Abstract
The invention relates to a PVC compact layer composition for preparing artificial leather, which is characterized by comprising the following components: 50-70 parts of PVC resin and 30-50 parts of plasticizer, wherein the plasticizer comprises a compound shown in formula (I), and n is 6-20 in the formula (I). The invention also relates to a PVC foaming layer composition for preparing artificial leather, which is characterized by comprising the following components: 50-70 parts of PVC resin, 30-50 parts of plasticizer and 1-5 parts of foaming agent, wherein the plasticizer comprises a compound shown in formula (I), and n is 6-20 in the formula (I). Compared with the traditional PVC artificial leather, the PVC artificial leather disclosed by the invention has the advantage that the VOC in the automobile is reduced.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of automotive interior materials, in particular to polyvinyl chloride (PVC) artificial leather for automotive interior.
Background
The important role of plasticizers in high molecular weight polymers is to increase plasticity, make them easier to process, and impart flexibility to articles. At present, plasticizers are among the largest plastic aids to be produced and consumed. China has become the country with the most plasticizer output and consumption in Asian regions.
At present, plasticizers adopted by PVC artificial leather mainly comprise phthalate products such as phthalate, but as the application of phthalate is more and more extensive, people pay more and more attention to the toxicity of phthalate. Researches show that phthalate contained in PVC artificial leather is easy to migrate to the surface of the material under grease or high-temperature environment of more than 100 ℃ and causes harmful gas to volatilize. These migrating or released harmful substances have serious effects on the immune system, nervous system and reproductive system of the human body and are even carcinogenic, and children, the elderly and people with defective immune systems are more vulnerable to threats.
Due to the narrow space of the automobile and the good sealing performance of the automobile, harmful gas in the automobile is easier to exceed the standard, and the degree of harm to human bodies is larger. Therefore, the damage of the automobile interior to the human body does not vary a little. And phthalate is the plasticizer adopted by most of the current PVC automobile interior trims. Although the harmful gas in the vehicle can be reduced by the conventional method, for example: the air in the vehicle is purified, ventilated and ventilated frequently, but the traditional methods are temporary and permanent, and can not reduce the migration and emission of harmful substances radically.
Therefore, it is required to find a polyvinyl chloride artificial leather having a reduced volatile organic compound content for automotive interior.
Disclosure of Invention
To this end, the object of the present invention is to provide a compact layer composition of polyvinyl chloride for preparing artificial leather, characterized in that the compact layer composition of polyvinyl chloride comprises the following components:
50-70 parts by weight of PVC resin,
30-50 parts by weight of a plasticizer,
wherein the plasticizer comprises a compound of formula (I):
in formula (I), n is 6 to 20, preferably n is 8 to 15, and more preferably n is 10 to 12.
The invention also aims to provide a polyvinyl chloride foamed layer composition for preparing artificial leather, which is characterized by comprising the following components:
50-70 parts by weight of PVC resin,
30-50 parts by weight of a plasticizer,
1 to 5 parts by weight of a foaming agent,
wherein the plasticizer comprises a compound of formula (I):
in formula (I), n is 6 to 20, preferably n is 8 to 15, and more preferably n is 10 to 12.
The present invention also provides a polyvinyl chloride artificial leather comprising a polyvinyl chloride compact layer formed from the polyvinyl chloride compact layer composition and/or a polyvinyl chloride foamed layer formed from the polyvinyl chloride foamed layer composition.
The invention also aims to provide polyvinyl chloride artificial leather which is characterized by comprising two polyvinyl chloride compact layers formed by the polyvinyl chloride compact layer composition, wherein the two polyvinyl chloride compact layers can be the same or different in composition.
The PVC artificial leather of the present invention can be applied to automotive interiors, such as car seats and the like.
Compared with the PVC material using the traditional phthalate, the polyvinyl chloride artificial leather reduces Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) in the automobile and harmful plasticizer substances migrating from the surface of the interior trim. Moreover, the plasticizer adopted by the PVC artificial leather has the following advantages: the raw materials are renewable resources, biodegradable, nontoxic and hormone-free, can not interfere human body hormone and induce distortion, can not be directly absorbed by skin, and can not generate carcinogenic substances.

FIG. 1 shows a cross-sectional view of the PVC artificial leather of the present invention, which comprises a base fabric layer, an adhesive layer, a PVC foaming layer, a PVC densified layer, and a surface treatment layer in this order from bottom to top.
Detailed Description
In one embodiment, the PVC dense layer composition includes the following components:
50 to 70 parts by weight, for example, 50 parts by weight, 51 parts by weight, 52 parts by weight, 53 parts by weight, 54 parts by weight, 55 parts by weight, 56 parts by weight, 57 parts by weight, 58 parts by weight, 59 parts by weight, 60 parts by weight, 61 parts by weight, 62 parts by weight, 63 parts by weight, 64 parts by weight, 65 parts by weight, 66 parts by weight, 67 parts by weight, 68 parts by weight, 69 parts by weight, 70 parts by weight, or a content within a range between any two of these values;
30 to 50 parts by weight, for example 30 parts by weight, 31 parts by weight, 32 parts by weight, 33 parts by weight, 34 parts by weight, 35 parts by weight, 36 parts by weight, 37 parts by weight, 38 parts by weight, 39 parts by weight, 40 parts by weight, 41 parts by weight, 42 parts by weight, 43 parts by weight, 44 parts by weight, 45 parts by weight, 46 parts by weight, 47 parts by weight, 48 parts by weight, 49 parts by weight, 50 parts by weight or a content in the range between any two of these values, wherein the plasticizer comprises the compound of formula (I) above.
In a preferred embodiment, the PVC resin is 50 to 60 parts by weight and the plasticizer is 40 to 50 parts by weight.
In a preferred embodiment, in the PVC densified layer composition, the compound of formula (I) is hydrogenated castor oil acetic acid monoglyceride.
In the polyvinyl chloride dense layer composition, the compound of formula (I) accounts for 10 to 100 wt%, preferably 20 to 100 wt%, more preferably 40 to 100 wt%, and even more preferably 60 to 100 wt% of the total weight of the plasticizer.
In a preferred embodiment, the plasticizer comprises a combination of the compound of formula (I) with one or more selected from phthalate plasticizers, such as phthalates, aliphatic dibasic acid plasticizers, epoxy ester plasticizers, phosphate ester plasticizers.
In one embodiment, the PVC foam layer composition includes the following components:
50 to 70 parts by weight, for example, 50 parts by weight, 51 parts by weight, 52 parts by weight, 53 parts by weight, 54 parts by weight, 55 parts by weight, 56 parts by weight, 57 parts by weight, 58 parts by weight, 59 parts by weight, 60 parts by weight, 61 parts by weight, 62 parts by weight, 63 parts by weight, 64 parts by weight, 65 parts by weight, 66 parts by weight, 67 parts by weight, 68 parts by weight, 69 parts by weight, 70 parts by weight, or a content within a range between any two of these values;
30 to 50 parts by weight, such as 30 parts by weight, 31 parts by weight, 32 parts by weight, 33 parts by weight, 34 parts by weight, 35 parts by weight, 36 parts by weight, 37 parts by weight, 38 parts by weight, 39 parts by weight, 40 parts by weight, 41 parts by weight, 42 parts by weight, 43 parts by weight, 44 parts by weight, 45 parts by weight, 46 parts by weight, 47 parts by weight, 48 parts by weight, 49 parts by weight, 50 parts by weight, or a content ranging between any two of these values, wherein the plasticizer comprises the compound of formula (I) above;
1 to 5 parts by weight, such as 1 part by weight, 2 parts by weight, 3 parts by weight, 4 parts by weight, 5 parts by weight, or a content ranging between any two of these values;
in a preferred embodiment, the PVC resin is 50 to 60 parts by weight, the plasticizer is 40 to 50 parts by weight, and the foaming agent is 3 to 5 parts by weight.
In the polyvinyl chloride foamed layer composition, the compound of formula (I) accounts for 10 to 100 wt%, preferably 20 to 100 wt%, more preferably 40 to 100 wt%, even more preferably 60 to 100 wt% of the total weight of the plasticizer.
In a preferred embodiment, the plasticizer comprises a combination of the compound of formula (I) with one or more selected from phthalate plasticizers, such as phthalates, aliphatic dibasic acid plasticizers, epoxy ester plasticizers, phosphate ester plasticizers.
The foaming agent can be any foaming agent applicable to the field of PVC artificial leather. In one embodiment, the blowing agent includes physical blowing agents such as aliphatic hydrocarbons, carbon dioxide, inert gases, water, ethyl acetate, methanol, ethanol, diethyl ether, hydrofluorocarbons, nitrogen, air, and the like, and chemical blowing agents such as azodicarbonamide, azobisisobutyronitrile, 4' -oxybis-benzenesulfonylhydrazide.
The PVC resin used in the present invention is not particularly limited, and those skilled in the art can select an appropriate PVC resin. In a preferred embodiment, the number average molecular weight of the PVC resin is 5,000 to 15,000.
It is understood by those skilled in the art that, in the present invention, the PVC resin and plasticizer in the PVC dense layer composition may be the same as or different from those in the PVC foamed layer composition.
The PVC compact layer composition and the PVC foamed layer composition may also each include any stabilizer suitable for use in the field of PVC artificial leather. The stabilizer includes, for example, a heat stabilizer and a light stabilizer. In one embodiment, the stabilizer comprises a calcium zinc based stabilizer, epoxidized soybean oil, ultraviolet absorber, or a combination thereof. Preferably, the calcium zinc-based stabilizer includes calcium stearate, calcium ricinoleate, zinc stearate, zinc ricinoleate, calcium p-tert-butylbenzoate, or a combination thereof.
In one embodiment, the polyvinyl chloride densified layer composition and the polyvinyl chloride densified layer composition can each include 6 parts by weight or less, e.g., 0 parts by weight, 1 part by weight, 2 parts by weight, 3 parts by weight, 4 parts by weight, 5 parts by weight, 6 parts by weight, or a stabilizer in an amount ranging between any two of these values.
The PVC compact layer composition and the PVC foamed layer composition may further include any flame retardant suitable for the field of polyvinyl chloride artificial leather, respectively. The flame retardant includes, for example, aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, antimony trioxide, halogen-based flame retardants, phosphorus-based flame retardants, nitrogen-based flame retardants.
In one embodiment, the polyvinyl chloride densified layer composition and the polyvinyl chloride densified layer composition can each include 10 parts by weight or less, e.g., 0 parts by weight, 1 part by weight, 2 parts by weight, 3 parts by weight, 4 parts by weight, 5 parts by weight, 6 parts by weight, 7 parts by weight, 8 parts by weight, 9 parts by weight, 10 parts by weight, or a content within a range between any two of these values, of a flame retardant.
Further, the PVC dense layer composition and the PVC foamed layer composition may further include 1 to 10 parts by weight of other auxiliaries, such as a colorant and a filler such as calcium carbonate, etc., respectively. Such colorants include, for example, iron red, titanium dioxide, iron yellow, chrome yellow, and cadmium red.
In one embodiment, the PVC artificial leather further comprises a surface treatment layer, a base fabric layer, and an adhesive layer on the base fabric layer. One skilled in the art can select the desired base fabric material, such as a polyester blend, as desired. The adhesive layer may be selected as desired by those skilled in the art, and preferably comprises a PVC resin and a plasticizer, wherein the plasticizer may be a compound of formula (I) or a combination of a compound of formula (I) and a conventional plasticizer such as a phthalate ester.
In one embodiment, the surface treatment layer comprises a waterborne acrylic urethane-modified resin.
In one embodiment, the present invention provides a method for preparing the PVC artificial leather, characterized by comprising the steps of:
(1) mixing the components of the PVC compact layer composition to prepare slurry, coating the slurry on release paper and drying to form a PVC compact layer;
(2) mixing the components of the PVC foaming layer composition to prepare slurry, coating the slurry on the PVC compact layer and drying to form a PVC foaming layer;
(3) optionally coating an adhesive on the foaming layer, and then compounding a base fabric on the adhesive layer and drying;
(4) tearing off release paper, coating a surface treatment layer on the surface of the PVC compact layer and drying;
(5) embossing and cutting to obtain the PVC artificial leather.
The following examples illustrate the invention, but it should be understood that the following examples are non-limiting and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention.
Examples
Example 1
1. Preparation of PVC artificial leather
(1) Preparation of PVC compact layer slurry and PVC foaming layer slurry
50 parts by weight of PVC powder (number average molecular weight 8000), 10 parts by weight of hydrogenated castor oil acetic acid monoglyceride, 40 parts by weight of phthalic acid ester, 2 parts by weight of zinc stearate and 5 parts by weight of antimony trioxide are uniformly mixed to obtain slurry 1 for forming the dense layer.
50 parts by weight of PVC powder (number average molecular weight 8000), 10 parts by weight of hydrogenated castor oil acetic acid monoglyceride, 40 parts by weight of phthalic acid ester, 2 parts by weight of zinc stearate, 3 parts by weight of azodicarbonamide, and 5 parts by weight of antimony trioxide are uniformly mixed to obtain slurry 2 for forming a foaming layer.
80 parts by weight of water-based acrylic polyurethane modified resin (the number average molecular weight is 80000) and 20 parts by weight of auxiliary agent (organic silicon defoamer, flatting agent, feeling agent and regulator) are uniformly mixed to obtain the water-based paint.
(2) Coating process step
a. Coating a compact layer on release paper by using the slurry 1 and drying;
b. coating a foaming layer on the compact layer and drying;
c. coating an adhesive on the foaming layer, and then compounding 90g of double-sided knitted base cloth on the adhesive layer;
d. tearing off the release paper, and coating the water-based paint on the surface of the compact layer;
e. embossed and cut to obtain PVC artificial leather as shown in fig. 1.
2. Performance test of PVC artificial leather
The PVC artificial leather prepared in this example was tested for its relevant performance according to the test method of table 1 below, and the types of performance, test method and test results are shown in table 1 below:

Example 2
The polyvinyl chloride artificial leather of the invention was manufactured in the same manufacturing method as in example 1, except for the amount of the plasticizer used in the PVC dense layer and the PVC foamed layer, in which 20 parts of hydrogenated castor oil acetic acid monoglyceride and 30 parts of phthalate were used for both the PVC dense layer and the PVC foamed layer.
The related performance of the PVC artificial leather prepared in this example was tested in the same test method as in example 1, and the types of performance, test method and test results are shown in table 2 below:

Example 3
The polyvinyl chloride artificial leather of the present invention was manufactured in the same manufacturing method as in example 1, except for the amount of the plasticizer used in the PVC dense layer and the PVC foamed layer, in which 30 parts by weight of the hydrogenated castor oil acetic acid monoglyceride and 20 parts by weight of the phthalic acid ester were used for both the PVC dense layer and the PVC foamed layer.
The related performance of the PVC artificial leather prepared in this example was tested in the same test method as in example 1, and the types of performance, test method and test results are shown in table 3 below:

Example 4
The polyvinyl chloride artificial leather of the present invention was manufactured in the same manufacturing method as in example 1, except for the kind and amount of the plasticizer in the PVC dense layer and the PVC foamed layer, in this example, 50 parts by weight of hydrogenated castor oil acetic acid monoglyceride was used for both the PVC dense layer and the PVC foamed layer, instead of phthalate.
The related performance of the PVC artificial leather prepared in this example was tested in the same test method as in example 1, and the types of performance, test method and test results are shown in table 4 below:

Comparative example 1
The polyvinyl chloride artificial leather of the present invention was manufactured in the same manufacturing method as in example 1, except for the kind and amount of the plasticizer in the PVC dense layer and the PVC foam layer, in this example, 50 parts by weight of phthalate was used for both the PVC dense layer and the PVC foam layer, instead of using the hydrogenated castor oil acetic acid monoglyceride.
The related performance of the PVC artificial leather prepared in this example was tested in the same test method as in example 1, and the types of performance, test method and test results are shown in table 5 below:

It can be found that the PVC artificial leathers obtained in examples 1 to 4 of the present invention using the plasticizer comprising hydrogenated castor oil acetic acid monoglyceride had significantly improved VOC and FOG, while the folding fastness and tear strength remained equivalent or better, compared to comparative example 1 using the phthalate ester conventional plasticizer.
In addition, the polyvinyl chloride artificial leather claimed in the present invention is not limited to the application to automotive interiors, but can also be applied to the fields of footwear, home furnishings, and the like.
While particular embodiments of the present invention have been shown and described, it should be understood that other modifications, substitutions and alternatives are apparent to one skilled in the art. Such modifications, substitutions and alternative embodiments can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention, which should be determined from the appended claims.
Claims (11)
1. A polyvinyl chloride compact layer composition for preparing artificial leather, comprising the following components:
50-70 parts by weight of PVC resin,
30-50 parts by weight of a plasticizer,
wherein the plasticizer comprises a compound of formula (I):
in formula (I), n is 6 to 20, preferably n is 8 to 15, and more preferably n is 10 to 12.
2. The densified layer composition of claim 1, wherein the compound of formula (I) is hydrogenated castor oil monoacetin.
3. The polyvinyl chloride densified layer composition of claim 1 or 2, wherein the PVC resin is 50-60 parts by weight and the plasticizer is 40-50 parts by weight.
4. The polyvinyl chloride densified layer composition of claim 1 or 2, wherein in the polyvinyl chloride densified layer composition, the compound of formula (I) comprises 10 to 100 wt%, preferably 20 to 100 wt%, more preferably 40 to 100 wt%, even more preferably 60 to 100 wt% of the total weight of the plasticizer.
5. The polyvinyl chloride densified layer composition of claim 1 or 2, wherein the plasticizer comprises a compound of formula (I) in combination with one or more selected from the group consisting of phthalate plasticizers, aliphatic dibasic acid plasticizers, epoxy plasticizers, and phosphate plasticizers.
6. A polyvinyl chloride foamed layer composition for preparing artificial leather, comprising the following components:
50-70 parts by weight of PVC resin,
30-50 parts by weight of a plasticizer,
1 to 5 parts by weight of a foaming agent,
wherein the plasticizer comprises a compound of formula (I):
in formula (I), n is 6 to 20, preferably n is 8 to 15, and more preferably n is 10 to 12.
7. The polyvinyl chloride foamed layer composition of claim 6, wherein in the PVC foamed layer composition, the compound of formula (I) is hydrogenated castor oil acetic acid monoglyceride.
8. The polyvinyl chloride foaming layer composition as claimed in claim 6 or 7, wherein the PVC resin is 50 to 60 parts by weight, the plasticizer is 40 to 50 parts by weight, and the foaming agent is 3 to 5 parts by weight.
9. The polyvinyl chloride foamed layer composition according to claim 6 or 7, wherein the compound of formula (I) accounts for 10 to 100 wt%, preferably 20 to 100 wt%, more preferably 40 to 100 wt%, even more preferably 60 to 100 wt% of the total weight of the plasticizer in the polyvinyl chloride foamed layer composition.
10. The polyvinyl chloride foamed layer composition according to claim 6 or 7, wherein the plasticizer comprises a combination of the compound of formula (I) with one or more selected from the group consisting of phthalate plasticizers, aliphatic dibasic acid plasticizers, epoxy ester plasticizers, and phosphate ester plasticizers.
11. A polyvinyl chloride artificial leather comprising a polyvinyl chloride densified layer formed of the polyvinyl chloride densified layer composition of any one of claims 1 to 5 and/or a polyvinyl chloride foamed layer formed of the polyvinyl chloride foamed layer composition of any one of claims 6 to 10.
