Detailed Description
In the related art full-screen display device, two types of positions are arranged at the fingerprint identification structure, namely, in order to arrange the fingerprint identification structure at one side of the display device, which is far away from the light emitting side, namely, the back of the display device, when the fingerprint is unlocked, a user needs to put a finger at the back of the display device, so that the user can not directly see the position of the fingerprint identification area visually, needs to touch the fingerprint identification area, and then performs operations such as unlocking, and the arrangement does not accord with the operation habit of the user and influences the overall appearance of the display device; as shown in fig. 1, a transmission area 200 is disposed on the display panel 100, a fingerprint recognition device (not specifically shown in the drawing) corresponding to the transmission area 200 is disposed on a side of the display panel 100 away from the light emitting surface, the light emitted by the light emitting device in the display panel 100 is reflected by the finger as a light source to form a pattern image, so as to realize fingerprint unlocking, and since the fingerprint recognition structure is disposed below the display panel 100, the fingerprint recognition position needs to inform the user of the fingerprint position prompt information displayed by the display panel 100, and the display device in the related art displays the fingerprint position prompt information in the transmission area 200 when the finger touches the display panel 100 or the display device is in a moving state.
Based on the above problems of the display device in the related art, embodiments of the present invention provide a display panel, a control method thereof, and a display device. In order to make the technical solution and advantages of the present invention more clear, the following describes in detail specific embodiments of a display panel, a control method thereof and a display device provided by the embodiments of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings. It should be understood that the following description of the preferred embodiments is provided for the purpose of illustrating and explaining the invention, and is not intended to limit the invention. And embodiments and features of embodiments in this application may be combined with each other without conflict.

The shapes and sizes of the various components in the drawings do not reflect true proportions and are intended to illustrate the invention only.
Specifically, an embodiment of the present invention provides a display panel, as shown in fig. 2, the display panel 10 includes: the light-transmitting device comprises a first light-transmitting area a and a second light-transmitting area b, wherein the second light-transmitting area b is at least closely adjacent to one side edge of the first light-transmitting area a, and the orthographic projection of the second light-transmitting area b on the first light-transmitting area a covers one side edge of the first light-transmitting area a closely adjacent to the second light-transmitting area b;
as shown in fig. 3, the display panel 10 further includes: the fingerprint identification module 21 is arranged on one side of the first light transmission area a, which is away from the light emitting surface, and the infrared induction module 22 is arranged on one side of the second light transmission area b, which is away from the light emitting surface;
the first transparent area a displays the fingerprint position prompt information when determining that the infrared light information reflected by the second transparent area b received by the infrared sensing module 22 matches with the prestored finger information.
Specifically, in the display panel provided by the embodiment of the invention, when a finger or a palm touches the display panel, or even when a finger which does not prestore finger information passes through the second light transmission area, the reflected infrared light information received by the infrared sensing module is not matched with the prestored finger information, the first light transmission area does not display fingerprint position prompt information, and only when the infrared light information received by the infrared sensing module is matched with the prestored finger information when the finger which prestores the finger information passes through the second light transmission area, the first light transmission area displays the fingerprint position prompt information, the finger is pressed to a corresponding position according to the fingerprint position prompt information, the fingerprint recognition module receives light emitted by the display panel reflected by the finger, and the reflected light information is processed through an external processing circuit to unlock the mobile phone.
As can be seen from the foregoing, in the display panel provided in the embodiment of the present invention, before displaying the fingerprint position prompt information, the infrared sensing device disposed corresponding to the second light-transmitting area senses the passing finger information, and only when the infrared sensing device corresponds to the pre-stored finger information, the first light-transmitting area displays the fingerprint position prompt information.
It should be noted that, in the display panel provided by the embodiment of the present invention, the front projection of the second light-transmitting area on the first light-transmitting area covers one side edge of the first light-transmitting area adjacent to the second light-transmitting area, which is expressed as follows: in the A1-A direction, the finger must pass through the second light-transmitting area before passing through the first light-transmitting area, i.e. the finger information needs to be pre-identified in advance; the length of the second light-transmitting area adjacent to any boundary of the first light-transmitting area in the extending direction of the boundary is larger than or equal to the length of the boundary, so that enough second light-transmitting area can collect finger information when a finger passes, and the problem of missing collection is avoided. In fig. 2, the length of the second light-transmitting region b extending in the direction perpendicular to the A-A1 is taken as an example, and the length of the boundary corresponding to the first light-transmitting region a extending in the direction perpendicular to the A-A1 is not particularly limited.
In fig. 2, the second light-transmitting area b is illustrated on the right side of the first light-transmitting area a, and in actual design, the second light-transmitting area b may be located on any side or on any multiple sides of the first light-transmitting area a, which is not specifically limited herein.
Alternatively, in the display panel provided in the embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 4, in the same extending direction, the length of the second light-transmitting region b is greater than the length of one side edge of the first light-transmitting region a adjacent thereto.
Specifically, in the display panel provided by the embodiment of the invention, as shown in fig. 4, the extension length of the second light-transmitting area b in the direction perpendicular to the A-A1 is greater than the extension length of the boundary on the right side of the first light-transmitting area a in the direction perpendicular to the A-A1, so that the first light-transmitting area a can display the fingerprint position prompt information in a larger range only when the pre-stored finger information is unlocked through the second light-transmitting area b, and the effective rate of the fingerprint identification action is improved.
Optionally, in the display panel provided in the embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 5a, the second light-transmitting area b surrounds the first light-transmitting area a.
Specifically, in the display panel provided by the embodiment of the invention, the second light-transmitting area is set to surround the first light-transmitting area, so that the range of the second light-transmitting area for acquiring the pre-stored finger information can be further enlarged, different habit requirements of a user can be met, for example, if the second light-transmitting area is only set on the right side of the first light-transmitting area, the user can feel very unaccustomed when unlocking the display panel by using the left hand, and therefore, the second light-transmitting area surrounds the first light-transmitting area, different habits of the user can be met, and fingerprint identification operation can be executed from any angle.
Optionally, in the display panel provided in the embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 5a to 5d, the shape of the area surrounded by the second light-transmitting area b includes: one or a combination of rectangular, circular, elliptical and/or polygonal.
Specifically, in the display panel provided in the embodiment of the present invention, the shape of the area surrounded by the second light-transmitting area may be any shape, for example, may be a rectangle, a circle, an ellipse, or any polygon as shown in fig. 5a to 5d, and may be selected according to different designs of the display panel, which is not limited herein.
In fig. 5a to 5d, the shape of the first light-transmitting region a is shown as being the same as the shape surrounded by the second light-transmitting region b, but the shape of the first light-transmitting region a may be different from the shape surrounded by the second light-transmitting region b, for example, when the shape surrounded by the second light-transmitting region b is rectangular, the first light-transmitting region a may be elliptical to conform to the growth shape of the finger, and any combination may be made by only ensuring that the second light-transmitting region b surrounds the first light-transmitting region a.
Optionally, in the display panel provided by the embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 5a, a distance d between a boundary of the first light-transmitting area a and a boundary of the second light-transmitting area b ranges from 5mm to 5cm.
Specifically, in the display panel provided by the embodiment of the invention, the distance between the boundary of the first light-transmitting area and the boundary of the second light-transmitting area can be set according to the relative positions and sizes of the first light-transmitting area and the second light-transmitting area and the display panel, and the processing speed of the processing circuit. If the second light-transmitting area is intended to cover a wider range in the design process of the display panel, the size of the second light-transmitting area is correspondingly increased, so that the distance between the boundary of the first light-transmitting area and the boundary of the second light-transmitting area is increased; for example, the processing speed of the processing circuit externally connected with the display panel is higher, the distance between the boundary of the first light-transmitting area and the boundary of the second light-transmitting area can be set relatively smaller, the first light-transmitting area can display the fingerprint position prompt information immediately after the finger passes through the second light-transmitting area, and the finger is prevented from covering the fingerprint position prompt information, so that the experience of a user is influenced. Of course, the distance between the boundary of the first light-transmitting area and the boundary of the second light-transmitting area may also vary according to the different devices applied to different scenes, and the distance is set to be 5 mm-5 cm for a general handheld mobile terminal, so that the requirements can be met, and the specific distance can be selected according to the actual requirements, which is not limited herein.
Optionally, in the display panel provided in the embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 6, the infrared sensing module 22 includes: an infrared emitter 221 and an infrared sensor 222;
infrared light emitted from the infrared emitter 221 exits from the second light-transmitting region b, and the infrared sensor 222 receives infrared light reflected back from the finger and converts the reflected infrared light into an electrical signal to be provided to an external processing circuit.
Specifically, in the display panel provided by the embodiment of the invention, the infrared emitter and the infrared sensor may be disposed in the same layer, and since the infrared light emitted by the infrared emitter is divergent, the infrared sensor may be disposed at a position opposite to the center of the second light-transmitting area, and the infrared sensor may be disposed around the infrared emitter, where the number of the infrared emitters and the infrared sensors is not particularly limited. Of course, the infrared emitter and the infrared sensor may be disposed in different layers, and the infrared emitter may be disposed on a side closer to the light emitting surface, and the infrared sensor may have a region that is not blocked by the infrared emitter, so as to sense the reflected infrared light. How to set up specifically can be selected according to the actual use situation, and is not particularly limited here.
Based on the same inventive concept, the embodiment of the invention also provides a control method of the display panel, as shown in fig. 7, the method includes:
s701, controlling the infrared induction module to emit infrared light;
s702, when it is determined that the infrared sensing module receives the infrared light information reflected by the second light transmission area and is matched with the prestored finger information, the first light transmission area is controlled to display the fingerprint position prompt information.
Optionally, in the method for controlling a display panel provided in the embodiment of the present invention, step S701 may specifically include:
when the display panel is in a static state, controlling the infrared sensing module to emit infrared light with a first frequency;
when the display panel is in a static state to be in a moving state, controlling the infrared sensing module to emit infrared light with a second frequency, and controlling to receive the reflected infrared light;
when the display panel keeps in a motion state continuously, controlling the infrared sensing module to emit infrared light with a second frequency;
when the display panel is changed from a motion state to a static state, the infrared sensing module emits infrared light with a first frequency;
wherein the second frequency is greater than the first frequency.
Specifically, in the control method of the display panel provided by the embodiment of the invention, in order to reduce the energy consumption of the display panel, when the display panel is in different states, the frequency of infrared light emitted by the infrared sensing module is different, for example, when the display panel is in a static state, the probability of fingerprint identification is relatively small, so that the infrared sensing module can emit infrared light at the frequency of 2 Hz; when the display panel is changed from a static state to a moving state, the probability of fingerprint identification is high, so that the infrared sensing module can emit infrared light at the frequency of 10Hz, and the probability that fingerprint position prompt information can be accurately displayed is increased; similarly, when the display panel is in a continuous motion state, the infrared sensing module can emit infrared light at the frequency of 10Hz, and in the process that the display panel is restored to a static state from the motion state, the infrared sensing module can emit infrared light at the frequency of 2 Hz. Through the arrangement, the infrared light emission frequency can be reduced when the occurrence probability of the fingerprint unlocking action is small, and the infrared light emission frequency can be increased when the occurrence probability of the fingerprint unlocking action is large, so that the energy consumption of the display panel can be reduced.
Of course, the above embodiments are merely exemplary, and specific how to set the infrared light emission frequency of the infrared sensing module may be selected according to actual use conditions, which is not limited herein.
Optionally, in the method for controlling a display panel provided in the embodiment of the present invention, step S702 specifically includes:
determining the width of the finger passing through the second light transmission area according to the reflected infrared light information received by the infrared sensing module;
determining whether the finger width is within a finger width range corresponding to pre-stored fingerprint information;
when the finger width is determined to be in the range of the finger width corresponding to the pre-stored fingerprint information, the first light-transmitting area is controlled to display the fingerprint position prompt information.
Specifically, in the control method of the display panel provided by the embodiment of the invention, when a user performs fingerprint identification action, a finger is generally extended to a fingerprint identification area, and when a palm or a plurality of fingers of the user cover a second light transmission area, the fingerprint identification action is not performed, so that the display panel can store the width of the finger of the user inputting fingerprint information in advance, and set a range of pre-stored finger width according to the width, the finger width determined by infrared light information acquired by the infrared sensing module can be compared with the range of pre-stored finger width, whether the action of the user is fingerprint identification can be judged, if the action is matched, the first light transmission area is controlled to display fingerprint position prompt information, and if the action is not matched, a display instruction is not sent to all sub-pixels in the first light transmission area, so that unnecessary display duration of the first light transmission area caused by false touch is prevented.
Optionally, in the method for controlling a display panel provided by the embodiment of the present invention, when a finger presses a first light-transmitting area surrounded by a second light-transmitting area and fingerprint identification fails, the method further includes:
determining position information of the finger covering the second light transmission area;
and controlling the first light transmission area to display the indication information of the movement direction required by the finger according to the corresponding relation between the prestored position information and the movement direction indication information according to the position information.
Specifically, in the control method of the display panel provided by the embodiment of the invention, when the fingerprint identification of the finger fails, the position pressed by the finger is very likely to be different from the position actually identified by the fingerprint, and then the user needs to be prompted to adjust the position of the finger so as to increase the possibility of successful fingerprint identification. As shown in fig. 8, the finger position of the user covers the lower edge of the second transparent region b, and does not cover other positions of the second transparent region b, and it can be determined that the position actually pressed by the finger is closer to the lower edge of the display panel than the position of the first transparent region a, so that the first transparent region a can display upward prompt information, such as an upward arrow, to prompt the user to move the finger upward to press the finger to the first transparent region a for fingerprint identification.
Of course, the above embodiment is merely an exemplary illustration of an operation corresponding to one position of the finger, and similarly, when both the upper and lower edges of the second light-transmitting area are blocked, but fingerprint recognition fails, the user is prompted to move the finger downward. When the lower left corner of the second light transmission area is blocked but fingerprint identification fails, prompting a user to move the finger to the upper right; when the lower right corner of the second light transmission area is blocked, but fingerprint identification fails, prompting a user to move the finger to the upper left corner; when the left side of the second light-transmitting area is blocked, but fingerprint identification fails, the user is prompted to move the finger to the right, and when the right side of the second light-transmitting area is blocked, but fingerprint identification fails, the user is prompted to move the finger to the left. When other location information is acquired, the principle is the same as that described above, and will not be described here again.
Optionally, in the method for controlling a display panel provided by the embodiment of the present invention, the method further includes:
determining whether the infrared information received by the same position of the infrared sensing module and reflected back changes at different times;
when it is determined that there is a change in the information of the reflected infrared light received at the same position, it is determined that the finger passing through the second light-transmitting area is a living body.
Specifically, in the control method of the display panel provided by the embodiment of the invention, when the living fingerprint is pressed to the second light-transmitting area, because infrared light irradiates the finger, the blood in the finger flows due to the beating of the heart, and the absorption amount and the reflection amount of the infrared light can be different at each moment due to the flowing of the blood, so that in the process of fingerprint identification, infrared light information collected by the infrared induction module at different moments can be processed, when the infrared light information reflected at different moments is different, the finger can be determined to be the living body, and under the condition that other information is matched, the first light-transmitting area can display fingerprint position prompt information; however, when the infrared light information reflected at different moments is the same, it can be determined that the infrared light information is likely to be a silica gel finger or the like, and the first light-transmitting area does not display the fingerprint position prompt information. The fingerprint identification device can increase the fingerprint identification functionality and ensure the safety of user information.
Based on the same inventive concept, the embodiment of the invention also provides a display device, which comprises the display panel provided by any one of the embodiments, and a processing circuit electrically connected with the display panel.
Wherein, this display device can be: any product or component with display function such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a television, a display, a notebook computer, a digital photo frame, a navigator and the like. Other essential components of the display device will be understood by those skilled in the art, and are not described herein in detail, nor should they be considered as limiting the invention. The implementation of the display device can be referred to the embodiment of the display panel, and the repetition is not repeated.
The embodiment of the invention provides a display panel, a control method thereof and a display device, wherein the display panel comprises: the light-transmitting device comprises a first light-transmitting area and a second light-transmitting area, wherein the second light-transmitting area is at least arranged close to one side edge of the first light-transmitting area, and the orthographic projection of the second light-transmitting area on the first light-transmitting area covers one side edge of the first light-transmitting area close to the second light-transmitting area; further comprises: the fingerprint identification module is arranged on one side of the first light-transmitting area, which is away from the light-emitting surface, and the infrared induction module is arranged on one side of the second light-transmitting area, which is away from the light-emitting surface; and when the first light transmission area determines that the infrared light information reflected by the second light transmission area is matched with the prestored finger information, displaying the fingerprint position prompt information. The second light-transmitting area is arranged at the position close to the first light-transmitting area, the infrared sensing module is arranged at the position corresponding to the second light-transmitting area, and the first light-transmitting area is enabled to display the fingerprint position prompt information when the infrared sensing module is determined to receive the fact that the infrared light information reflected by the second light-transmitting area is matched with the prestored finger information, so that the situation that the fingerprint position prompt information is displayed by mistake due to actions except fingerprint recognition actions is avoided, the display time of the fingerprint recognition position prompt information is shortened, and the display quality and the service life of the first light-transmitting area are maintained.
It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and variations can be made to the present invention without departing from the spirit or scope of the invention. Thus, it is intended that the present invention also include such modifications and alterations insofar as they come within the scope of the appended claims or the equivalents thereof.
