When the curtain cloth 2 is in the open state, the position of the curtain cloth is located between the water outlet and the cooling fan main body, so that large water drops can be prevented from being blown out from the air outlet, the water drops can be prevented from splashing on electric elements in the cooling fan main body, and potential safety hazards are reduced. When the curtain cloth is arranged at a certain angle, the water column flowing out of the water outlet can directly drop on the curtain cloth 2, and the curtain cloth 2 can play a role in drainage and drains water to the water tank below. Various modifications to these embodiments will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art, and the generic principles defined herein may be applied to other embodiments without departing from the spirit or scope of the invention. Thus, the present invention is not intended to be limited to the embodiments shown herein but is to be accorded the widest scope consistent with the principles and novel features disclosed herein.
Claims (11)
1. A protector for an evaporative cooling fan, the protector comprising:
the first rod body (1) is transversely arranged in a wet curtain mounting area of the evaporative cooling fan;
the curtain cloth (2) is hung on the first rod body and can slide along the first rod body; and
the driving assembly is used for driving the curtain cloth (2) to slide along the first rod body (1) so as to open or close the curtain cloth (2).

Guard according to claim 1, characterized in that the drive assembly comprises an electric motor (3), an external thread (101) formed on the first rod (1), a mounting element (4) screwed to the first rod (1), the electric motor (3) driving the first rod (1) in rotation, one end of the curtain (2) being fixed to the mounting element (4), and a rotation constraint for limiting the freedom of rotation of the mounting element (4).

The protection device according to claim 2, characterized in that said rotation restraint means comprise a sliding block (401) formed on said mounting member (4) and a sliding slot (5) for being arranged on an evaporative cooling fan, said sliding slot (5) being parallel to said first rod (1) and said sliding block (401) being slidably retained in said sliding slot (5).
4. Guard according to claim 2, characterized in that the mounting (4) is formed with a hook (402) for hanging the curtain (2).

The protection device according to claim 2, characterized in that a projection (301) is formed at the end of the output shaft of the motor (3), a groove (102) matched with the projection (301) is formed at one end of the first rod body (1), and the projection (301) is inserted into the groove (102).

The protection device according to claim 1, further comprising a second rod (6), wherein the second rod (6) is used for being transversely arranged at a wet curtain mounting area of the evaporative cooling fan, and the lower end of the curtain cloth (2) is slidably connected to the second rod (6).
7. Guard according to claim 6, characterized in that the curtain (2) is mounted on the first (1) and second (6) rods by means of a suspension ring (7).
8. An evaporative cooling fan, characterized by comprising the protective device according to any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein the first rod (1) is fixed on the casing (8) of the evaporative cooling fan, and the first rod (1) is positioned at one side of the top water outlet of the evaporative cooling fan, which is close to the air outlet.
9. Evaporative cooling fan according to claim 8, further comprising a control switch (9), wherein when the evaporative cooling fan is fitted with a wet curtain, the wet curtain triggers the control switch (9), and the control switch (9) sends a signal to the driving assembly.
10. Evaporative cooling fan according to claim 9, characterised in that the control switch (9) is fixed to the housing (8) by means of a snap (10).
11. The method for controlling an evaporative cooling fan according to any one of claims 8 to 10, comprising the steps of:
detecting whether the evaporative cooling fan is provided with a wet curtain or not;
if the evaporative cooling fan is not provided with the wet curtain, the driving assembly drives the curtain cloth to slide along the first rod body and stretch when the evaporative cooling fan is started;
if the evaporative cooling fan is provided with the wet curtain, the driving assembly drives the curtain cloth to slide along the first rod body and fold when the evaporative cooling fan is started.
