Description

Discharge port fixing assembly and fixing clamp thereof
Technical Field
The present invention relates to logistics containers and more particularly to a retaining clip for a discharge port of an intermediate bulk container.
Background
Today, it is common to transport bulk liquids in large containers, of the metal, wood and plastic type, which generally comprise a bottom panel and four side panels, and due to sealing problems, it is common to place a liner inside the container, then to place the liquid in the liner, and then to cover the container with a lid, thus protecting the liner from easy damage.
When the liquid in the container needs to be drained, the conventional method is to open a hole on the side below the container, the lower part of the lining bag is provided with a drain hole, the flange of the drain hole and the lining bag are welded together, and the drain hole of the lining bag is aligned with the hole on the container when the lining bag is placed in the container. Most of these vents do not have a valve in their own right, and the thin membrane between the vent passage of the vent and the interior of the liner bag remains, and is only punctured when the vent is connected to a valved conduit. Some of the discharge ports are self-valved, and the discharge passage is in direct communication with the interior of the liner bag, so that liquid can be discharged only by direct connection to the tube. Or a switchable valve, when discharging, the outer joint pipe is connected with the valve, and the valve is opened, namely, liquid is discharged.
The discharge openings have a specific shape, such as square or hexagonal, at the root near the flange, which is used to connect with a retaining clip, which is first snapped onto the discharge openings when the bags are placed in the container, and then snapped into place at the openings below the container. Thus, the discharge port is secured to the container and the protective liner bag is not easily damaged during use. However, after the fixing clip is assembled, the situation that the liquid leaks due to the fact that the discharging opening is stolen can occur, so that the discharging opening fixing clip which is simple in structure, simple and convenient to operate and capable of being reliably prevented from being stolen is needed in the field.

In the following description, for the purposes of illustrating various disclosed embodiments, certain specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the various disclosed embodiments. One skilled in the relevant art will recognize, however, that the embodiments may be practiced without one or more of the specific details.
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a discharge port fixing clip 2 according to an embodiment of the present invention. The vent clip 2 includes a clip body 21, a resilient connector clip 25, an enclosure 23, and a tamper-evident cover 24. Fig. 2 shows a perspective view of the discharge opening 1. The discharge port 1 is a hexagonal discharge port and includes a flange 11, a discharge port stopper 12, and a discharge interface 13. A bottom perspective view of the vent retaining clip 2 is shown in fig. 3.
As shown in fig. 3, the proximal end of the clip body 21 is provided with an opening, and an opening hole 211 for accommodating the discharge port stopper 12 (see fig. 2) is formed in the middle of the clip body 21. The clamping portions 22 are located on both sides of the fixing clip body 21, and form openings 211 matching the contour of the discharge passage, specifically, the discharge port block 12. The clamping portions 22 clamp opposite sides of the discharge port stopper 12 of the discharge port 1 after the discharge port fixing clip 2 is assembled with the discharge port 1 (see fig. 2). The surrounding portion 23 extends from the fixing clip body 21 along the outer periphery of the opening hole 211. In the illustrated embodiment, the surrounding portion 23 extends vertically upward from the clip body 21, but it should be understood that the surrounding portion 23 is not necessarily perpendicular to the clip body 21, and may be inclined with respect to the clip body 21, for example, in a shape gradually converging or diverging from the bottom end toward the top end. Specifically, the bottom end of the surrounding portion 23 is located between the periphery of the opening 211 and the elastic connection buckle 25, and substantially surrounds the portion of the fixation clamp body 21 other than the opening. In the illustrated embodiment, the tamper-evident cover 24 covers the top end of the surrounding portion 23 and is circumferentially connected to the top end of the surrounding portion 23. In the illustrated embodiment, the tamper-evident cover 24 is sized and shaped to match the shape of the top opening of the enclosure 23, but it should be understood that the tamper-evident cover 24 may be sized to extend beyond the top opening of the enclosure 23, or may be smaller than the enclosure 23 and be connected to the top opening of the enclosure 23 only for a portion of its outer periphery. It will be appreciated that the tamper-evident cover 24 need not be flat in shape, but may be dome-shaped or other curved shape, for example. It is also envisaged that the surrounding portion 23 and the tamper-evident cover 24 may together form a dome shape, connected by a line of weakness therebetween.
A circumferential tearable portion is provided between the tamper-proof cover plate 24 and the fixing clip body 21. Specifically, a circumferential weakening line is arranged on at least one of the anti-theft opening cover plate, the joint between the anti-theft opening cover plate and the surrounding part, the surrounding part and the joint between the surrounding part and the fixing clamp body, and the connection strength of the weakening line is smaller than that of the rest parts of the fixing clamp of the discharge port. Thus, when an upward force is applied to the tamper-evident cover 24, a fracture occurs along the line of weakness. In the embodiment shown, the weakening line is provided at the circumferential connection of the tamper-evident cover plate 24 with the top edge of the surrounding portion 23, in particular consisting of a plurality of frangible connection points 29 circumferentially spaced from each other, as shown in fig. 3. It will be appreciated that the line of weakness may also be provided circumferentially on the tamper-evident cover so that when an upward force is applied to the middle of the tamper-evident cover 24, the middle of the tamper-evident cover 24 breaks along the line of weakness from the circumferential edge of the tamper-evident cover 24. A line of weakness may also be provided in the enclosure 23 so that when an upward force is applied to the middle of the tamper-evident cover 24, the tamper-evident cover 24 and a portion of the enclosure 23 (upper in the figure) break along the line of weakness from another portion of the enclosure 23 (lower in the figure). A line of weakness may also be provided at the connection between the surround 23 and the clip body 21 so that when an upward force is applied to the middle of the tamper-evident cover 24, the tamper-evident cover 24 breaks away from the clip body 21 along with the surround 23. It will be appreciated that the lines of weakness may be continuous in the circumferential direction or may be discontinuous. The weakening lines may be arranged in a straight line or may be curved or serrated.
Due to the provision of this tearable portion, when the discharge opening 1 is opened for the first time, the tamper-evident cover 24 needs to be torn off from the clip body 21, thereby exposing the discharge interface 13. Therefore, the operator can recognize whether the discharge port 1 has been opened or not by observing whether the tamper-evident cover 24 is intact or not. In order to facilitate the tearing off of the tamper-evident cover 24, a tear-off hole may be provided on the tamper-evident cover 24 and/or on the surrounding portion 23 or a pull portion (not shown) protruding therefrom may be provided on the tamper-evident cover 24. The tear hole is sized to allow a person's finger to pass through. The pull may be a tab, pull handle or other gripping facilitating structure protruding from the tamper-evident cover 24.
Further, in order to more easily recognize whether the discharge port 1 has been opened or not, the tamper-proof cover 24 may be colored differently from the rest.
The discharge port fixture 2 is generally made of a plastic material, and the structure of the fixture is preferably made so that a plurality of fixtures can be stacked together.
The elastic coupling buckles 25 extend upward from both sides of the fixing clip body 21 and serve to cooperate with the discharge passage of the bottom of the intermediate bulk container so that the discharge port 1 is fixed with respect to the container. The discharge passage of the intermediate bulk container is generally square and therefore the mounting clip body is also square in shape to match the discharge passage. The elastic connecting buckle 25 is a plastic elastic component, and during installation, deformation occurs due to elasticity, and deformation and resetting occur after the elastic connecting buckle is in contact with a corresponding structure on the discharge channel, so that installation is completed.
Further, as shown in fig. 3, the discharge port fixing clip 2 of the present invention may further include an elastic introduction rib 26 and a check portion 27. Preferably, an inwardly facing recessed portion is provided at the end of the clamping portion 22 to accommodate the resilient lead-in ribs 26 and the non-return portion 27. The elastic introduction rib 26 extends obliquely from the tip of the holding portion 22 toward the inside of the opening 211, and the check portion 27 extends obliquely outward from the tip of the elastic introduction rib 26. A limiting rib 271 is provided at the end of the check portion 27 and a limiting step 221 is provided at the edge of the opening 211 of the clamping portion 22 at the opening, as shown in fig. 5. The restricting rib 271 is restricted by the restricting step 221 not to be inwardly biased.
The fixing clip 2 of the present invention can be pushed in laterally to complete the assembly with the discharge port, and the elastic lead-in rib 26 is an elastic plastic member, and the elastic lead-in rib 26 is pressed during the pushing-in process to be deformed and rotated outward. After assembly, the clamping portion 22 can tightly clamp the hexagonal block 11, thereby fixing the discharge port 1 so that it cannot move up and down and left and right relative to the fixing clip 2.
The tail end of the elastic guiding rib 26 is connected with the non-return part 27, and after the fixing clamp 2 is assembled with the discharge port 1, the non-return part 27 can abut against the discharge port to clamp, so that the fixing clamp 2 is prevented from being separated from the discharge port.
Fig. 5 to 8 are schematic views illustrating an assembly process of the fixing clip 2 with the hexagonal discharge port 1 according to the first embodiment of the present invention. When the fixing clamp 2 is assembled, the fixing clamp 2 is pushed to move parallel relative to the discharge port 1, after an introduction face of an elastic introduction rib 26 on the fixing clamp 2 is contacted with the discharge port clamping position 11 (see fig. 6), the fixing clamp 2 is continuously pushed, the elastic introduction rib 26 can be extruded by the discharge port clamping position 11 to deform and rotate outwards (see fig. 7), when the fixing clamp 2 and the discharge port 1 are assembled in place (see fig. 8), the elastic introduction rib 26 of the fixing clamp 2 is not extruded and recovers, at the moment, a clamping part 22 of the fixing clamp clamps the discharge port clamping position 11, and a non-return face of a non-return part 27 connected with the tail end of the elastic introduction rib 26 is matched with the side edge of the discharge port clamping position 11, so that the fixing clamp and the. After the fixing clip and the discharge port are assembled, the fixing clip 2 and the discharge port 1, which are assembled as a whole, are fixed to the discharge passage at the bottom of the intermediate bulk container by the elastic connection buckle 25, so that the discharge port 1 does not shake with respect to the discharge passage, thereby being advantageous to reduce the damage of the discharge port.
It should be noted that, as shown in the figure, the fixing clip of the present invention has a limiting rib 271 at the end of the non-return portion 27 and a limiting step 221 at the top end of the clamping portion 22. During installation and transport, if the retaining clip is subjected to a force directed away from the discharge opening, the resulting interaction between the sides of the discharge opening detent and the non-return portion 27 may cause the resilient lead-in ribs 26 to deflect inwardly and become easily damaged or cause the retaining clip to loosen from the discharge opening. However, if the elasticity of the elastic introduction rib 26 is strong, the stopper rib 271 and the stopper step 221 may not be provided.
The discharge opening 1' in fig. 9 has a quadrangular discharge opening position. The retaining clip of the first embodiment of the invention can also be used to retain the quadrangular discharge opening 1 'in fig. 9, comprising a flange 11', a discharge opening detent 12 'and a discharge interface 13'. Fig. 10 to 13 are schematic views illustrating an assembly process of a fixing clip with a quadrangular discharging port according to the first embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 14 is a perspective view illustrating a structure of a fixing clip according to the first embodiment of the present invention when the fixing clip is completely assembled with the quadrangular discharging port. This assembly process is almost identical to the assembly process of the hexagonal discharge port and the fixing clip. The included angle of the quadrilateral screens forms a chamfer with a certain radian so as to be better matched with the non-return part 27. When the fixing clamp needs to be detached from the discharge port, the elastic guide ribs can be manually extruded outwards to deform the elastic guide ribs, so that the non-return part or the non-return hanging table is disengaged from the clamping side structure, and the fixing clamp can be pulled to be disengaged from the discharge port.
The structure of the discharge port fixing clip 2 in the above embodiment is a push-push snap-fit type, but it should be understood that the specific snap-fit assembly manner of the discharge port fixing clip 2 does not affect the scope of the present invention as long as the discharge port fixing clip 2 is provided with a tearable tamper-proof cover plate 24. The discharge port fixing clip 2 may also have other snap-fit structures, such as described in chinese patent publication CN109353714A, in which a clamping portion and an opening portion are hinged to each other, and after the clamping portion is snapped to the discharge port, both are closed to be fixed with respect to the discharge port. The above patent publications are incorporated herein by reference.
The discharge port fixing clamp has the advantages of simple structure, simplicity and convenience in operation and capability of reliably identifying whether the discharge port is opened or not.
