Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a device for removing a scalpel blade from a handle.
Background
As shown in fig. 1, 2 and 3, a conventional scalpel generally includes a reusable, sterilizable elongated handle 12 to which a replaceable blade 10 having a longitudinal groove 11 may be secured. At the distal end of handle 12 is tang 13, and the side wall of tang 13 is scored with a slide groove. During assembly, the tang penetrates into the groove of the blade, and the narrow part of the groove is embedded into the sliding groove in the side wall of the tang, so that the assembly is stable.
The handle 12 may be reused, but the blade 10 is typically discarded after a single use, either the blade 10 becomes dull or contaminated, or because another style of blade 10 is required. To remove the blade 10 from the shank 12, the unslotted portion of the rear of the tang 13 must first be withdrawn from the groove 11, and then the portion provided with the runner must be gradually removed.
Manual removal of the blade 10 is very dangerous. During operation, the operator is at risk of being cut by the sharp blade 10. With the ever-increasing spread of blood-borne diseases such as AIDS and hepatitis, any accidental injury by the blade 10 can result in infection or contamination.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above, the present invention provides a scalpel blade remover, which can conveniently and quickly remove a blade from a scalpel handle.
In order to solve the technical problems, the technical scheme of the invention is that the scalpel blade detacher comprises a detacher body, wherein a blade groove for a blade to penetrate into and a tang groove for a tang of a scalpel handle to penetrate into are formed in the detacher body; the blade groove and the cross section of the tang groove are crossed. The principle of the invention is to clamp the blade through the blade slot and then turn the handle of the knife downwards to separate the tang from the groove on the blade, thereby achieving the purpose of removing the blade.
As an improvement, the bottom of the blade groove is positioned at the left side and the right side of the tang groove and is respectively provided with an inserting plate which can slide back and forth along the blade groove; a turning plate is arranged at the bottom of the tang slot, and the far end of the turning plate is movably connected with the detacher body; and when the turning plate is turned over, the inserting plate can be driven to slide. When the knife handle is turned, although the tang can be separated from the groove most of the time, the situation that the tang and the groove are matched too firmly with certainty is not eliminated, and the whole blade is pulled out of the blade groove when the knife handle is turned, so that the disassembly fails. The turning plate is arranged at the bottom of the tang slot, and when the knife handle is turned downwards, the turning plate is turned downwards along with the knife handle, firstly, a space can be provided for the downward turning of the knife handle, so that the turning plate can be smoothly separated from the groove on the blade, secondly, the turning plate can drive the inserting plate to slide forwards when being turned, so that the inserting plate is inserted between the blade and the knife handle, and meanwhile, the blade is blocked and supported, and the turning plate can be completely separated from the groove of the blade when being turned downwards, so that the blade is prevented from being pulled out from the.
As a further improvement, a sliding groove is arranged behind the inserting plate, a sliding block is arranged in the sliding groove, and the inserting piece is connected with the sliding block; the bottom of the sliding block is provided with teeth; the turning plate is characterized by further comprising a gear meshed with the teeth at the bottom of the sliding block, and the far end of the turning plate is fixed with the gear. The turnover plate is turned over to drive the gear to rotate, and the gear rotates to drive the sliding block to slide so that the inserting plate extends out.
As another further improvement, a return spring is arranged between the sliding block and the end wall of the sliding chute. After the force is removed, the inserting plate and the turning plate are automatically reset.
As a modification, the upper part of the tang slot intersects the middle of the insert slot. Enough space is provided for turning the knife handle.
As an improvement, the height of the blade groove is 0.5-0.8mm, and the width is 8-10 mm; the height of the handle foot groove is 3-4mm, and the width is 1.5-2.5 mm. So that the detacher can adapt to more blade tool shanks and cannot be loosened and fixed too much.
The invention has the advantages that: the scalpel blade detacher with the structure utilizes the blade groove to clamp the blade and then turns the knife handle to detach the blade. The disassembly mode is convenient and fast, and the disassembly mechanism is simple and easy to use. When in use, the utility model does not need to hold the blade to avoid being cut, thus eliminating the hidden trouble of infection of medical care personnel.

Detailed Description
In order that those skilled in the art will better understand the technical solutions of the present invention, the present invention will be further described in detail with reference to the following embodiments.
As shown in fig. 4-6, the present invention comprises a detacher body 1, wherein the detacher body 1 is provided with a blade groove 2 for a blade 10 to penetrate through and a tang groove 3 for a tang 13 of a handle 12 to penetrate through; the blade groove 2 and the tang groove 3 are crossed in cross section. Preferably, the upper part of the tang slot 3 intersects the middle of the insert slot 2. The bottom of the blade groove 2 is positioned at the left side and the right side of the handle foot groove 3 and is respectively provided with an inserting plate 4, and the inserting plates 4 can slide back and forth along the blade groove 2; the bottom of the handle foot groove 3 is provided with a turning plate 5, and the far end of the turning plate 5 is movably connected with the detacher body 1; and when the turning plate 5 turns over, the inserting plate 4 can be driven to slide. A sliding groove is formed in the rear of the inserting plate 4, a sliding block 7 is arranged in the sliding groove, and the inserting plate 4 is connected with the sliding block 7; the bottom of the sliding block 7 is provided with teeth; the turning plate is characterized by further comprising a gear 6 meshed with teeth at the bottom of the sliding block 7, and the far end of the turning plate 5 is fixed with the gear 6. A return spring 8 is arranged between the sliding block 7 and the end wall of the sliding chute.
The height of the blade groove 2 is 0.5-0.8mm, and the width is 8-10 mm; the height of the handle foot groove 3 is 3-4mm, and the width is 1.5-2.5 mm.
In use, the insert 10 is inserted into the insert pocket 2 such that the entire insert 10 is just submerged into the insert pocket 2. Pulling the handle 12 downward causes the flap 5 to also flip down with the handle 12. The blade 10 is now held stationary by the grip of the blade groove 2, while the part of the rear part of the tang 13 that is not slotted is disengaged from the groove of the blade 10. Meanwhile, the turning plate 5 is turned to drive the gear 6 to rotate, the gear 6 rotates to drive the sliding block 7 to move, so that the inserting plate 4 fixed with the sliding block 7 extends out of the blade groove 2 and is inserted between the blade 10 and the knife handle 11. The handle 12 is turned over continuously, and the blade 10 is prevented from following the handle 12 due to the support of the inserting plate 4, so that the two are separated. After the knife handle 12 is taken down, the slide block 7 is reset to the bottom under the action of the reset spring 8, the turning plate 5 of the inserting plate 4 is reset along with the slide block, and at the moment, the blade 10 positioned in the blade groove 2 is poured out.
The above is only a preferred embodiment of the present invention, and it should be noted that the above preferred embodiment should not be considered as limiting the present invention, and the protection scope of the present invention should be subject to the scope defined by the claims. It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and adaptations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention, and these modifications and adaptations should be considered within the scope of the invention.
