Abstract
The embodiment of the application provides a display panel, which is provided with a first display area and a second display area arranged around the first display area, and comprises a backlight module, an array substrate and a color film substrate, wherein the array substrate and the backlight module are arranged in a laminated manner, an infrared generator is arranged on the array substrate, and the infrared generator is positioned in the first display area; the color film substrate is arranged opposite to the array substrate, a light-emitting display device and a fingerprint sensor are arranged on the color film substrate, and the light-emitting display device and the fingerprint sensor are located in the first display area. The display panel provided by the scheme can not influence normal display under the condition of realizing the fingerprint identification technology under the screen.
Description
Technical Field
The application relates to the technical field of display, in particular to a display panel.
Background
With the development of science and technology, terminals are more and more popular. The application of the under-screen fingerprint identification technology to the terminal is more and more extensive. Currently, mainstream Display technologies include Liquid Crystal Displays (LCDs) and Organic Light Emitting Semiconductors (OLEDs). The LCD is a passive light emitting technology, and the brightness of light needs to be controlled by illuminating the liquid crystal with a whole backlight panel.
In the technology of identifying fingerprints under a screen, an infrared generator and a fingerprint sensor need to be arranged in an LCD, wherein the light transmittance of the infrared generator is almost zero. Therefore, if the infrared generator is disposed between the backlight plate and the optical film, the illumination area of the backlight plate is affected, thereby affecting the normal display of the LCD; if set up the back at the board in a poor light with infrared generator, then can lead to fingerprint sensor to receive the interference of board in a poor light and optical diaphragm to lead to fingerprint sensing signal to appear seriously crosstalking, make fingerprint identification technique inefficacy under the screen.
Disclosure of Invention
The embodiment of the application provides a display panel, which can realize normal display without being influenced under the condition of fingerprint identification technology under a screen.
The embodiment of the present application provides a display panel, which has a first display area and a second display area arranged around the first display area, and comprises:
a backlight module;
the array substrate and the backlight module are arranged in a stacked mode, an infrared generator is arranged on the array substrate, and the infrared generator is located in the first display area;
the color film substrate is arranged opposite to the array substrate, a light-emitting display device and a fingerprint sensor are arranged on the color film substrate, and the light-emitting display device and the fingerprint sensor are positioned in the first display area;
in the display panel provided in the embodiment of the present application, the infrared generator is disposed between the array substrate and the backlight module.
In the display panel provided in the embodiment of the present application, the light emitting display device and the fingerprint sensor are disposed on one side of the color film substrate close to the array substrate.
In the display panel provided in the embodiment of the present application, a plurality of light emitting display devices and a plurality of fingerprint sensors are arranged on the color film substrate, and the plurality of light emitting display devices and the plurality of fingerprint sensors are arranged in a staggered manner.
In the display panel provided in the embodiment of the present application, the light emitting display device is disposed on a side of the color film substrate away from the array substrate.
In the display panel provided in the embodiment of the present application, the fingerprint sensor is disposed on one side of the color film substrate close to the array substrate.
In the display panel provided in the embodiment of the application, one side of the color film substrate, which is close to the array substrate, is provided with a plurality of light holes and a plurality of light emitting display devices, the plurality of light holes and the plurality of light emitting display devices are arranged in a staggered manner, and the plurality of light holes are arranged in the first display area.
In the display panel provided in the embodiment of the present application, a black matrix is disposed on a side of the color film substrate close to the array substrate, and the black matrix is located in the first display area and exposes the plurality of light holes and the plurality of light emitting display devices.
In the display panel provided in the embodiment of the present application, the diameter of the light transmission hole is 5 to 50 micrometers.
In the display panel provided by the embodiment of the application, the display device is a micro light emitting diode.
In this way, the display panel provided by the embodiment of the present application has a first display area and a second display area arranged around the first display area, and the display panel includes a backlight module, an array substrate and a color film substrate, wherein the array substrate and the backlight module are arranged in a stacked manner, and an infrared generator is arranged on the array substrate and located in the first display area; the color film substrate is arranged opposite to the array substrate, a light-emitting display device and a fingerprint sensor are arranged on the color film substrate, and the light-emitting display device and the fingerprint sensor are located in the first display area. The display panel provided by the scheme can not influence normal display under the condition of realizing the fingerprint identification technology under the screen.

Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application. It is to be understood that the embodiments described are only a few embodiments of the present application and not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present application.
Embodiments of the present application provide a display panel, which will be described in detail below.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of a display panel according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The display panel 100 may include a first display area 110 and a second display area 120. Wherein the second display area 120 may be disposed around the first display area 110.
The first display region 110 may display using a light emitting display device. The second display region 120 may employ a liquid crystal display.
It should be noted that the terms "first", "second" and "third" in the description of the present application are used for descriptive purposes only and are not to be construed as indicating or implying relative importance or implicitly indicating the number of technical features indicated. Thus, features defined as "first", "second", "third" may explicitly or implicitly include one or more of the described features.
Specifically, referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the display panel shown in fig. 1 along a direction a-a'. The display panel 100 may include an array substrate 11, a backlight module 12, and a color filter substrate 21. The display panel 100 includes, but is not limited to, the above structure. The display panel 100 may also include other structures, such as sealant and liquid crystal 30.
The array substrate 11 and the backlight module 12 are stacked. The array substrate 11 is provided with an infrared generator 111, and the infrared generator 111 is located in the first display area 110. The infrared generator 111 may emit fingerprint recognition infrared light. It should be noted that the transmittance of the infrared generator 111 is almost zero.
The color film substrate 21 is disposed opposite to the array substrate 11. Further, a plurality of light emitting display devices 211 and a plurality of fingerprint sensors 212 are provided on the color filter substrate 21. The light emitting display device 211 and the fingerprint sensor 212 are located in the first display area 110. The light emitting display device 211 may display self-light emission. The fingerprint sensor 212 may identify fingerprint information.
In some embodiments, the display panel 100 may further include an upper polarizer 22, and the upper polarizer 22 may be disposed on a side of the color filter substrate 21 away from the array substrate 11.
In some embodiments, the light emitting display device 211 may be a micro light emitting diode. The fingerprint sensor 212 may be a high density infrared sensor array.
In some embodiments, the display panel 100 may further include a liquid crystal 30 and a lower polarizer. The liquid crystal 30 is disposed between the array substrate 10 and the color filter substrate 20. The lower polarizer is disposed on a side of the array substrate 11 away from the color filter substrate 21.
Note that the array substrate 11 and the color filter substrate 21 are provided with liquid crystals 30. Therefore, the fingerprint sensor 212 does not collect the infrared light reflected from the array substrate 11, but only collects the infrared light reflected from the color filter substrate 21.
It can be understood that the infrared light is used for fingerprint identification in the embodiment of the present application, because the infrared light is not visible to the naked eye of the user. Therefore, the influence on the content displayed on the display panel 100 when the content displayed on the display panel 100 is viewed is avoided, and the user experience is improved.
In order to prevent the fingerprint sensor 212 from being interfered by the array substrate 11, the fingerprint sensor 212 cannot perform recognition. In some embodiments, the infrared generator 111 may be disposed between the array substrate 11 and the backlight module 12. It should be noted that the infrared generator 111 completely covers the first display area 110 on the side of the array substrate 11 close to the backlight module 12.
It is understood that the first display region 110 cannot perform normal liquid crystal display at this time. Since the light emitting display device 211 is disposed in the first display region 110 of the color filter substrate in the embodiment of the present application, the light emitting display device 211 can display light by self-emission. Therefore, the embodiment of the present application may not affect the normal display of the display panel 100 under the condition of implementing the under-screen fingerprint identification technology.
It is understood that, in order to avoid the influence of the upper polarizer 22 on the display effect of the light emitting display device 211, a portion of the upper polarizer 22 located in the first display region 110 may be removed, and glass or other material with high light transmittance may be disposed there.
In some embodiments, the light emitting display device 211 and the fingerprint sensor 212 may be disposed on a side of the color film substrate 21 close to the array substrate 11. Moreover, since the light transmittance of the light emitting display device 211 is high and the pixel distribution is relatively sparse, the light emitting display device 211 and the fingerprint sensor 212 may be integrated on one circuit board, and the light emitting display devices 211 and the fingerprint sensors 212 are arranged in a staggered manner, so that the space of the color film substrate 21 is fully utilized, and the space of the display panel 100 is further saved, which may be specifically shown in fig. 3.
Also, since fingerprint recognition and display of the light emitting display device 211 may not be performed simultaneously, the wirings of the light emitting display device 211 and the fingerprint sensor 212 may be time-division multiplexed, thereby saving manufacturing costs.
Referring to fig. 4, in some embodiments, in order to improve the signal-to-noise ratio of fingerprint identification, the light emitting display device 211 may be disposed on a side of the color film substrate 21 away from the array substrate, and the fingerprint sensor may be disposed on a side of the color film substrate 21 close to the array substrate 11.
In some embodiments, in order to further improve the signal-to-noise ratio of fingerprint identification, a further configuration may be performed on the basis of the structure shown in fig. 4. Specifically, as shown in fig. 5, the light transmission holes 213 may be disposed in gaps of the plurality of light emitting display devices 211, such that the plurality of light transmission holes 213 are disposed to intersect with the plurality of light emitting display devices 211. In addition, a black matrix 214 is disposed on the color filter substrate 21 on the side close to the array substrate 11. It is understood that the black matrix 214 exposes the plurality of light-transmitting holes 213 and the plurality of light-emitting display devices 211. A plurality of light-transmitting holes 213 and a black matrix 214 are positioned in the first display region 110.
The diameter of the light hole 213 may be 5 to 50 micrometers. Note that the fingerprint sensor 212 is located below the light-transmitting hole 213. Therefore, the embodiment of the application can record the signal-to-noise ratio of the fingerprint identification by using the small hole imaging.
In view of the above, the display panel 100 provided in the embodiment of the present application has a first display area 110 and a second display area 120 disposed around the first display area 110, where the display panel 100 includes an array substrate 11, a backlight module 12 and a color film substrate 21, the array substrate 11 and the backlight module 12 are stacked, an infrared generator 111 is disposed on the array substrate 11, and the infrared generator 111 is located in the first display area 110; the color film substrate 21 is arranged opposite to the array substrate 11, a light emitting display device 211 and a fingerprint sensor 212 are arranged on the color film substrate 21, and the light emitting display device 211 and the fingerprint sensor 212 are located in the first display area 110. The display panel 100 provided by the scheme can not influence the normal display of the display panel 100 under the condition of realizing the fingerprint identification technology under the screen.
It should be noted that in the description of the embodiments of the present application, the terms "center", "longitudinal", "lateral", "length", "width", "thickness", "upper", "lower", "front", "rear", "left", "right", "vertical", "horizontal", "top", "bottom", "inner", "outer", "clockwise", "counterclockwise", etc. indicate orientations or positional relationships based on the orientations or positional relationships shown in the drawings, and are only for convenience of description and simplification of description, but do not indicate or imply that the referred device or element must have a specific orientation, be constructed in a specific orientation, and be operated, and thus should not be construed as limiting the present application.
The display panel provided by the embodiment of the present application is described in detail above, and a specific example is applied to illustrate the principle and the implementation manner of the present application, and the description of the embodiment is only used to help understanding the technical solution and the core idea of the present application; those of ordinary skill in the art will understand that: the technical solutions described in the foregoing embodiments may still be modified, or some technical features may be equivalently replaced; such modifications or substitutions do not depart from the spirit and scope of the present disclosure as defined by the appended claims.
Claims (10)
1. A display panel having a first display region and a second display region disposed around the first display region, the display panel comprising:
a backlight module;
the array substrate and the backlight module are arranged in a stacked mode, an infrared generator is arranged on the array substrate, and the infrared generator is located in the first display area;
the color film substrate is arranged opposite to the array substrate, a light-emitting display device and a fingerprint sensor are arranged on the color film substrate, and the light-emitting display device and the fingerprint sensor are located in the first display area.
2. The display panel of claim 1, wherein the infrared generator is disposed between the array substrate and the backlight module.
3. The display panel according to claim 1, wherein the light emitting display device and the fingerprint sensor are disposed on a side of the color filter substrate close to the array substrate.
4. The display panel according to claim 3, wherein a plurality of light emitting display devices and a plurality of fingerprint sensors are arranged on the color film substrate, and the plurality of light emitting display devices and the plurality of fingerprint sensors are arranged in an interlaced manner.
5. The display panel of claim 1, wherein the light emitting display device is disposed on a side of the color filter substrate away from the array substrate.
6. The display panel of claim 5, wherein the fingerprint sensor is disposed on a side of the color filter substrate close to the array substrate.
7. The display panel according to claim 6, wherein a plurality of light holes and a plurality of light emitting display devices are disposed on one side of the color film substrate close to the array substrate, the plurality of light holes and the plurality of light emitting display devices are alternately disposed, and the plurality of light holes are disposed in the first display region.
8. The display panel according to claim 7, wherein a black matrix is disposed on a side of the color filter substrate adjacent to the array substrate, and the black matrix is located in the first display region and exposes the plurality of light holes and the plurality of light emitting display devices.
9. The display panel according to claim 7 or 8, wherein the diameter of the light transmission hole is 5 to 50 micrometers.
10. The display panel according to any one of claims 1 to 8, wherein the display device is a micro light emitting diode.
