Abstract

The present invention relates to an oil-in-water type cosmetic composition for stabilizing a high content of silicon powder, and more particularly, to an oil-in-water type cosmetic composition for stabilizing a high content of silicon powder without including a surfactant by mixing a suitable amount of a high viscosity lubricant, a polyol, a carbomer, and an acrylic polymer.

Description

Surfactant-free oil-in-water cosmetic composition for stabilizing silicon powder
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an oil-in-water type cosmetic composition that stabilizes a high content of silicon powder, and more particularly, to an oil-in-water type cosmetic composition that stabilizes a high content of silicon powder while not including a surfactant by mixing a suitable amount of a high viscosity lubricant, a polyol, a carbomer, and an acrylic polymer.
Background
In a conventional general emulsion type having a liquid type of fluidity, particularly an oil-in-water emulsion type, it is difficult to contain components such as silicone elastomer powder and butter (butter) at a high content even if a surfactant is contained. This is because there are problems such as poor stability over time, for example, separation of dosage forms, or poor stability of dosage forms, for example, uneven surface of dosage forms due to deposition of silicon powder.
On the one hand, water-in-oil (W/O) formulations are excellent in water resistance and durability, and on the other hand, oil-in-water (O/W) formulations have characteristics of water supply ability, skin affinity, excellent stability, light use, etc. In addition, in the case of a formulation containing no surfactant, irritation due to the surfactant can be prevented, and thus, there is an advantage of excellent skin stability and moisture retention durability. However, the surfactant-free composition not only shows limited feeling of use with only moisture feeling, but also is not excellent in freezing stability and formulation stability, so that not only is it possible to develop not much surfactant-free cosmetics in skin care products, but also it is possible to contain only a small amount of silicon powder or butter, etc. in view of formulation stability.
Thus, there remains a need for an oil-in-water dosage form that has the advantages of oil-in-water compositions, while having improved feel in use of large quantities of silicon powder or butter stabilized without the presence of surfactant.

Disclosure of Invention
Accordingly, the present inventors have found that mixing a high viscosity lubricant to increase the viscosity of an oil phase component and, at the same time, appropriately combining a polyol, a carbomer, and an acrylic polymer can stabilize a large amount of silicon powder or butter within a dosage form without using a surfactant, thereby completing the present invention.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide an oil-in-water type cosmetic composition which can stabilize a large amount of silicon powder or butter without using a surfactant.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides an oil-in-water type cosmetic composition comprising, relative to the total weight of the composition: 11% by weight or less of a silicone elastomer powder; 1.5 to 4.5 weight percent of a high viscosity lubricant; 20 to 50 weight percent of a polyol; 0.1 to 0.3% by weight of carbomer and 0.05 to 0.2% by weight of acrylic polymer, and surfactant free.
The composition of the present invention contains silicon powder and butter at high contents, has excellent formulation stability, does not contain a surfactant, and therefore, has high skin safety, and can improve the limited feeling of use of a surfactant-free formulation because of containing silicon powder and butter at high contents.

Detailed Description
The cosmetic composition according to the present invention provides an oil-in-water type cosmetic composition which contains a high content of silicone elastomer powder, contains a high viscosity lubricant, a polyol, a carbomer, and an acrylic polymer for the purpose of stabilizing the same in a dosage form, and does not contain a surfactant.
In the cosmetic composition according to the present invention, the content of the silicone elastomer powder may be 11% by weight or less, more preferably 10% by weight or less, relative to the total weight of the composition.
The type of silicone elastomer powder that can be used in the cosmetic composition according to the present invention is not particularly limited, and includes, for example, one or more selected from the group consisting of an ethylene polydimethylsiloxane/polymethylsilsesquioxane crosspolymer, polymethylsilsesquioxane, polysiloxane-11, and polysiloxane 13.
In addition, the cosmetic composition according to the present invention may further include butter (butter), wherein the butter may be contained in an amount of 2 to 10% by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition.
In the cosmetic composition according to the present invention, the type of Butter that can be used is not particularly limited, and includes, for example, one or more selected from the group consisting of Shea Butter (buttermomum Parkii (Shea) Butter), mango Seed Butter (Mangifera Indica Seed Butter), jojoba Seed Butter (Jojoba Seed Butter), mango Seed Butter (Mangifera Indica Kernel Butter), and Cocoa Seed Butter (Theobroma Cacao (coco) Seed Butter).
The cosmetic composition according to the invention comprises a high viscosity lubricant (oil), wherein the high viscosity lubricant may be present in an amount of 1.5 to 4.5% by weight, preferably 2 to 4% by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition. When the content is less than 1.5% by weight, the viscosity of the oily component cannot be sufficiently increased, and silicon elastomer powder is precipitated, so that it is difficult to secure the formulation stability, and when the content exceeds 4.5% by weight, the sticky feeling of use of the high-viscosity lubricant is mainly exhibited, and the characteristics of the oil-in-water composition providing a light feeling of use are deteriorated, so that it is not suitable for commercialization of the product.
In the cosmetic composition according to the present invention, the type of the high viscosity lubricant to be used is not particularly limited, but a lubricant having a viscosity of 10000 to 100000cps is preferably used, and for example, one or more selected from the group consisting of polyisobutylene, hydrogenated polyisobutylene, polybutene, hydrogenated ethylene/propylene/styrene copolymer, hydrogenated butene/ethylene/styrene copolymer, dimethiconol and cyclopentadimethylsiloxane is contained.
The cosmetic composition according to the present invention comprises a polyol, wherein the content of the polyol may be 20 to 50% by weight, more preferably 25 to 40% by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition. When the content is less than 20% by weight, the content of the polyhydric alcohol is insufficient to wet the silicon powder, and when the content exceeds 50% by weight, the feeling of stickiness is heavy and phase inversion is not easily generated, and the polyhydric alcohol excessively mainly gives a feeling of use with a heavy feeling, and therefore, is not suitable for an oil-in-water type cosmetic composition giving a feeling of light use.
In the cosmetic composition according to the present invention, the type of the polyol that can be used is not particularly limited, and includes at least one selected from the group consisting of glycerin, butylene glycol, propylene glycol, and dipropylene glycol.
In the cosmetic composition according to the present invention, the polyol is used in an amount of 2.5 to 6 times, preferably 3 to 4.5 times the weight of the silicon elastomer powder.
The cosmetic composition according to the present invention includes carbomer, wherein the content of carbomer may be 0.1 to 0.3% by weight. When the content is less than 0.1% by weight, the suspension ability of the composition is insufficient and the stability of the dosage form is poor, and when the content exceeds 0.3% by weight, the composition is manufactured into a cream-like dosage form without departing from the viscosity range of the composition to be manufactured in the present invention.
The cosmetic composition according to the present invention includes an acrylic polymer, wherein the content of the acrylic polymer may be 0.05 to 0.2% by weight. When the content is less than 0.05% by weight, the viscosity of the composition is insufficient and the stability of the dosage form is poor, and when the content exceeds 0.2% by weight, the composition is manufactured into a cream-like dosage form without departing from the viscosity range of the composition to be manufactured in the present invention.
In the cosmetic composition according to the present invention, the type of the acrylic polymer that can be used is not particularly limited, and includes at least one selected from the group consisting of acrylate/C10-30 alkanol acrylate crosspolymer, polyacrylate crosspolymer-6, and hydroxyethyl acrylate/sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer.
In the cosmetic composition according to the present invention, carbomer and acrylic polymer are mixed in the ratio described above using 1:1 to 3:1, preferably 2:1 on a weight basis to have appropriate viscosity, thereby manufacturing a dosage form having fluidity. When the compounding ratio is less than 1:1, the emulsion is gelled under freeze-thaw conditions and becomes a formulation having no fluidity, and when the compounding ratio exceeds 3:1, creaming of the emulsion particles occurs at high temperature, and an oil layer is formed in the upper layer.
The cosmetic composition according to the present invention has a high-viscosity formulation, and particularly, has a viscosity of 5000 to 20000cps. When the viscosity is less than 5000cps, it is not favorable for stabilization of the high content silicone elastomer powder or butter, and when the viscosity exceeds 20000cps, it becomes creamy and is not suitable for the present invention which intends to provide an emulsion type composition.
The cosmetic composition according to the present invention is characterized by not containing surfactants such as cationic surfactants (quaternary ammonium, amine salts, etc.), anionic surfactants (carboxylate, sulfonate, sulfate, phosphate salts, etc.), nonionic surfactants (PEG, saccharides, polyglycerol, behenic polysaccharide, etc.), amphoteric surfactants (lecithin, etc.), and the like.
If the cosmetic composition according to the present invention is an emulsion type composition having a viscosity of 20000cps or less, the formulation thereof is not particularly limited, and may be, for example, a makeup cosmetic composition or a skin care cosmetic composition. For example, it can be formulated into a face makeup cosmetic composition such as a makeup cream, a makeup base, a liquid foundation, a concealer, or the like; cosmetic compositions for makeup such as lip gloss, eyeliner, mascara, eyebrow pencil, and blush; functional makeup cosmetic compositions including sunscreens and the like; and skin care cosmetic compositions such as lotions, essences, etc., but not limited thereto.
The structure and effects of the present invention will be described in more detail below by way of test examples and production examples. However, the test examples and the production examples are provided only for the purpose of illustration to facilitate understanding of the present invention, and the scope and the range of the present invention are not limited by the following examples.
