The present invention relates to a dishwasher. The dishwasher comprises a basket and a storage rack mounted on the basket for receiving dishes, the storage rack comprising a base body and a plurality of holding devices arranged on the base body, the holding devices being configured for confining small dishes on the base body, the holding devices being adapted to match small dishes of different kinds and/or different sizes. The invention relates to a dishwasher. The dishwasher comprises a basket and a storage rack mounted on the basket for receiving dishes, the storage rack comprising a base body and a plurality of holding devices arranged on the base body, the holding devices being configured for confining small dishes on the base body, the holding devices being adapted to match small dishes of different kinds and/or different sizes.

The small tableware of the present invention refers to tableware with relatively small size compared to tableware such as bowls, plates, basins and dishes with relatively large size, and most of the small tableware is not used for holding food but is operated by a user, including but not limited to knives, forks, spoons, chopsticks, kitchen knives and the like.

With this structure, since the holding device is adapted to match small tableware of different kinds and/or different sizes, the holding device can limit small tableware of different sizes and different kinds in the storage rack, so that the storage rack can accommodate not only small tableware of relatively large size but also small tableware of relatively small size, such as knives, forks, spoons, chopsticks and kitchen knives, in the storage rack, thereby improving the loading force and compatibility of the storage rack.

According to an exemplary embodiment of the invention, a plurality of said holding devices are arranged at intervals on said base body, said storage rack further comprising a plurality of support portions between adjacent holding devices, said support portions being adapted to support the cutlery substantially horizontally or vertically.

Thus, smaller sized cutlery is retained within the storage rack by the long retaining posts and larger sized cutlery is retained within the storage rack by the short retaining posts, which allows different sizes and styles of cutlery to be retained within the storage rack.

According to an exemplary embodiment of the invention, the long holding post is configured to hold a kitchen knife in the storage rack and the short holding post is configured to hold a spoon, fork, knife or chopstick in the storage rack.

Thus, the kitchen knife is held in the storage holder by the long holding post and the spoon, fork, knife or chopstick is held in the storage holder by the short holding post. This makes the storage support not only can hold the kitchen knife of cutting the dish, but also can hold the spoon, fork, table knife or the chopsticks that are used for eating, improves the compatibility of storage support.

According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the holding devices are arranged side by side on the base body in a front-rear direction of the dishwasher such that the small dishes are held side by side in the storage rack. According to an exemplary embodiment of the invention, the vessel having an elongated configuration comprises a stemware. This allows the stemware to be supported on the storage rack as well.

The term "stemware" as used herein refers to a cup having an elongated foot, such as a wine glass.

According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the side wall includes a first side wall and a second side wall extending in a front-rear direction of the dishwasher, the first side wall facing the basket, the cup holder being provided on the first side wall.

In order to further understand the objects, structures, features and functions of the present invention, the following embodiments are described in detail.

A dishwasher (not shown) includes a basket 1 and a storage rack 2 mounted on the basket 1 for receiving dishes. As shown in fig. 1, the storage rack 2 is pivotally mounted to the bowl basket 1 such that the storage rack 2 is rotatable to form an angle with the bowl basket 1.

As shown in fig. 2 and 3, the storage rack 2 comprises a base body 21 and a plurality of holding devices 22 arranged on the base body 21, the holding devices 22 serving to hold the small dishes 3 on the base body 21, and the holding devices 22 being adapted to fit different kinds and/or sizes of small dishes 3.

"small tableware" means tableware of relatively small size relative to relatively large sized dishes, plates, basins, dishes, etc., and most of the small tableware 3 is not intended to contain food but is intended to be manipulated by a user, including but not limited to knives, forks, spoons, chopsticks, kitchen knives, etc.

By providing the holding device 22 on the base body 21, the small tableware 3 can be well held on the base body 21, so that the small tableware 3 can be positioned on the base body 21. During the dishwasher washing, the small dishes 3 are held between the holding device 22 and the base body 21 without the small dishes 3 falling out of the storage rack 2 as a result of the impact of the water flow.

The storage rack 2 further comprises a side wall 4 disposed around the base 21 and extending upwardly, a cup holder 26 disposed at the side wall 4, the cup holder 26 being configured for supporting a vessel having an elongated structure, such as a different kind of goblet.

Thus, the storage rack 2 can not only accommodate small tableware 3 of different sizes and/or kinds, such as knives, forks, spoons, chopsticks, kitchen knives, etc., but the storage rack 2 can also be used to support elongated utensils, such as stemware. This makes storage support 2 become and deposits tableware such as collection sword, fork, spoon, chopsticks, kitchen knife and goblet support as an organic whole, improves storage support 2's compatibility and storage capacity greatly.

As shown in fig. 2 and 3, in one embodiment, the side wall 4 comprises a first side wall 41 and a second side wall 42 extending in the front-rear direction of the dishwasher, the first side wall 41 facing the basket 1, and the cup holder 26 is disposed on the first side wall 41.

The second side wall 42 is provided with a buckle structure for mounting the storage bracket 2 on the upper edge of the bowl basket 1, and the storage bracket 2 is mounted on the upper edge of the bowl basket 1 through the buckle structure on the second side wall 42.

In the vertical direction, the height of the first side wall 41 is lower than the height of said second side wall 42, and the height of the holding means 22 close to the first side wall 41 is greater than the height of the holding means 22 close to the second side.

As shown in fig. 3, the small tableware 3 having a relatively large size is held in an area close to the first side wall 41, such as a kitchen knife. Small tableware 3 of relatively small size can be held in an area close to the second side wall 42, such as a knife, spoon, chopstick, etc. The small dishes 3 may be arranged in order of size from small to large along the direction from the first sidewall 41 to the second sidewall 42, which is convenient for a user to place the small dishes 3 in the storage rack 2. Of course, the user can freely place the small tableware 3 according to the habit of the user.

In another embodiment, the sidewall 4 further comprises a third sidewall 43 and a fourth sidewall 44 connecting the first sidewall 41 and the second sidewall 42 and arranged in parallel, and the cup holder is arranged on the third sidewall 43 and the fourth sidewall 44.

As shown in fig. 2, a plurality of holding devices 22 are provided at intervals on the base body 21, and the storage rack 2 further includes a plurality of supporting portions 23 between the adjacent holding devices 22, the supporting portions 23 being adapted to support the small dishes 3 substantially horizontally or vertically.

In a preferred embodiment, the spacing between adjacent holders 22 is approximately equal to the diameter of the cutlery 3, so that only one cutlery 3 can be accommodated between two adjacent holders 22. Not only can keep small tableware 3 in storage support 2, there is the clearance between small tableware 3 moreover, increases the area of contact of small tableware 3 and water, improves dish washer's washing effect and drying efficiency.

In another embodiment, the spacing between adjacent holders 22 is N times the diameter of the cutlery 3, so that a plurality of cutlery 3 can be held between adjacent holders 22.

The holding means 22 extend in a vertical direction, the holding means 22 comprising holding means 22 which differ in size in the vertical direction, so that the holding means 22 are adapted to fit different kinds and/or sizes of cutlery 3.

The holding devices 22 are arranged at intervals on the base body 21. In one embodiment, the retaining means 22 is a retaining post extending upwardly from the base 21. Thus, small dishes 3 having a relatively large size, such as a kitchen knife, can be vertically or angularly placed in the storage rack 2, contributing to the washing effect of the dishwasher. Small tableware 3 such as a knife, a fork, and a spoon, which are relatively small in size, are placed in the gaps of the short holders 22, respectively.

The long retaining posts 24 are configured to retain a kitchen knife in the storage rack 2 and the short retaining posts 25 are configured to retain a spoon, fork, knife or chopstick in the storage rack 2, improving the compatibility of the retaining device 22.

In the front-rear direction of the dishwasher, retaining devices 22 are arranged side by side on the base body 21, so that the cutlery 3 are retained side by side in the storage rack 2. The holders 22 can be arranged side by side in a row on the base body 21, so that the small cutlery 3 are held side by side in a row in the gap of the holders 22.

Claims

1. Dishwasher, comprising a basket (1) and a storage rack (2) mounted on the basket (1) for receiving cutlery, characterized in that the storage rack (2) comprises a base body (21) and a plurality of retaining devices (22) arranged on the base body (21), the retaining devices (22) being configured for confining cutlery (3) on the base body (21), the retaining devices (22) being adapted to match cutlery (3) of different kinds and/or sizes.

A dishwasher according to claim 1, characterized in that a plurality of said holding devices (22) are arranged at intervals on the base body (21), the storage rack (2) further comprising a plurality of support portions (23) between adjacent holding devices (22), the support portions (23) being adapted to support the cutlery (3) substantially horizontally or vertically.

The dishwasher according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the holding device (22) extends in a vertical direction, the holding device (22) comprising holding devices (22) of different dimensions in the vertical direction, so that the holding device (22) is adapted to fit small dishes (3) of different kinds and/or different dimensions.

4. A dishwasher according to claim 3, characterized in that the retaining means (22) comprise retaining posts arranged at intervals on the base body (21) and extending upwards from the base body (21).

A dishwasher according to claim 4, characterized in that the retaining posts comprise long (24) and short (25) retaining posts of different lengths, the long retaining posts (24) being adapted to retain the relatively large-sized items of cutlery (3) and the short retaining posts (25) being adapted to retain the relatively small-sized items of cutlery (3).

6. A dishwasher according to claim 5, characterized in that the long holding pole (24) is configured to hold a kitchen knife in the storage rack (2), and the short holding pole (25) is configured to hold a spoon, fork, knife or chopstick in the storage rack (2).

7. A dishwasher according to claim 1, characterized in that the retaining devices (22) are arranged side by side on the base body (21) in the front-rear direction of the dishwasher, so that the cutlery (3) are retained side by side in the storage rack (2).

The dishwasher of claim 1, characterized in that the storage rack (2) further comprises a side wall (4) arranged around the base body (21) and extending upwards, a cup holder (26) being arranged at the side wall (4), the cup holder (26) being configured for supporting a vessel having an elongated structure.

9. The dishwasher of claim 8, wherein the vessel having an elongated configuration comprises a stemware.

10. The dishwasher of claim 8, characterized in that the side wall (4) comprises a first side wall (41) and a second side wall (42) extending in the dishwasher front-rear direction, the first side wall (41) facing the basket (1), the cup holder (26) being provided on the first side wall (41).

A dishwasher according to claim 10, characterized in that the height of the first side wall (41) is lower than the height of the second side wall (42) in the vertical direction, the height of the holding means (22) adjacent to the first side wall (41) being greater than the height of the holding means (22) adjacent to the second side.

The dishwasher of claim 10, characterized in that the side wall (4) further comprises a third side wall (43) and a fourth side wall (44) connecting the first side wall (41) and the second side wall (42) and arranged in parallel, the cup holder (26) being arranged at the third side wall (43) and the fourth side wall (44).

13. A dishwasher according to claim 1, characterized in that the storage rack (2) is pivotably mounted to the basket (1) such that the storage rack (2) is rotatable at an angle to the basket (1).
