The waterproof cover is arranged to further ensure that water leakage of the cylinder bottom 1011 of the first outer cylinder cannot enter the joint of the wiring terminal 1010 and the wiring harness, so that the work of the heating device is prevented from being influenced.

A connecting piece is connected between a first outer cylinder and a second outer cylinder which are arranged up and down of the double-drum washing machine, and a wiring terminal of a heating device is arranged at the lower part of the first outer cylinder; the method is characterized in that: comprising the following steps:
the connecting device comprises a body, an upper connecting part arranged at the upper end of the body and a lower connecting part arranged at the lower end of the body, wherein an avoidance gap corresponding to a wiring terminal is arranged on the body;
the water retaining part is arranged on the body and is provided with a water retaining wall surface which extends integrally along the length direction of the upper end surface of the body and at least covers the upper part of the avoidance gap; the water retaining part is in sealed connection with the first outer barrel along one end of the first outer barrel, which is close to the first outer barrel in the axial direction of the first outer barrel, so that water leakage at the bottom of the first outer barrel is prevented from entering the junction terminal: the water retaining wall surface of the water retaining part is provided with an inserting part at one end which is close to the first outer cylinder along the axial direction of the first outer cylinder, an inserting groove matched with the bottom of the first outer cylinder is formed at the opposite position of the bottom of the first outer cylinder, the inserting part of the water retaining wall surface is inserted into the inserting groove at the bottom of the first outer cylinder, and a sealing gasket is arranged between the inserting part and the inserting groove;
an annular reinforcing rib structure extending along the axial direction of the first outer cylinder is arranged near the outer edge of the cylinder bottom of the first outer cylinder;
the water retaining part of the connecting piece is arranged along the axial extension of the first outer barrel, the water retaining part is arranged close to the annular reinforcing rib structure, and the axial extension length of the water retaining part along the first outer barrel is greater than the extension length of the annular reinforcing rib structure;
the upper end surface of the connecting piece is used as a water retaining wall surface, and is a curved end surface which is matched with the shape of the outer wall surface of the annular reinforcing rib structure; the curved end face of the connecting piece is contacted and abutted with the outer wall face of the annular reinforcing rib structure to support the first outer cylinder.

A connector as claimed in claim 1, wherein: the body is of a plate-shaped structure, the avoidance notch is an avoidance through hole which is formed in the plate-shaped structure and penetrates through the thickness of the plate-shaped structure, and the avoidance through hole is formed in the plate-shaped structure and close to the upper end face of the plate-shaped structure.

The connector of claim 2, wherein: the upper connecting portion comprises a first upper connecting portion and a second upper connecting portion which are arranged at two ends of the upper end of the plate-shaped structure, and the avoidance through hole is arranged between the first upper connecting portion and the second upper connecting portion.
