Background

the invention provides a vehicle horn volume self-adaptive control system which is based on vehicle positioning information and information acquired from an electronic map such as a navigation map under different conditions, aiming at the problem that the volume of a current vehicle horn is not adjustable. According to the relevant information (road speed limit, area attribute information, volume limiting information and the like) for controlling the volume of the vehicle horn, the vehicle horn self-adaptively emits sounds with different decibels through the preset control relation between the volume decibels and the relevant information for controlling the volume of the vehicle horn. When the vehicle is in the area with higher speed limit, the volume of the horn is correspondingly increased. When the speed limit is low (generally, the vehicle itself runs at a low speed), for example, 30km/h, the volume of the horn of the vehicle is set accordingly to a volume as small as possible. Therefore, the invention can meet the requirement of sufficient volume early warning, ensure the running safety of the vehicle, reduce the volume as much as possible and reduce the noise pollution to a certain extent. This adaptive control method both achieves the functionality of the vehicle horn and ensures that no unwanted noise is produced.
The invention does not need to use a velocimeter, a distance measuring device or an image sensor to acquire the environmental image information around the vehicle, has small computation amount of a control algorithm and high speed, and has simple and high-efficiency hardware. Furthermore, the whole process is adaptively adjusted. The user is not required to divert attention to the operation interface and input instructions. Claims (15)

1. A method (100) for adaptively controlling the volume of a vehicle horn, the method comprising:
acquiring (101) vehicle positioning information;
acquiring (102) electronic map information;
acquiring (103) relevant information for controlling the volume of a vehicle horn based on the vehicle positioning information and the electronic map information;
determining (104) the volume of the vehicle horn according to the related information for controlling the volume of the vehicle horn;
wherein, preferably, the related information for controlling the volume of the vehicle horn comprises:
road speed limit information; and/or
Region attribute information; and/or
Volume limit information;
wherein, preferably, the method further comprises:
acquiring the current running speed of the vehicle;
determining (104) the volume of a horn of the vehicle according to the current running speed of the vehicle;
preferably, the vehicle horn volume increases, in particular stepwise or linearly, with an increase in the current driving speed of the vehicle.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein when the acquired information related to the controlled vehicle horn volume is road speed limit information, the step of determining (104) the vehicle horn volume according to the information related to the controlled vehicle horn volume comprises:
acquiring a corresponding relation between a preset road speed limit and the volume of a vehicle horn;
determining the volume of a vehicle horn according to the acquired road speed limit information;
preferably, when the acquired information related to the control of the vehicle horn volume is road speed limit information, the step "determining (104) the vehicle horn volume according to the information related to the control of the vehicle horn volume" includes:
acquiring a corresponding relation between a preset road speed limit and a vehicle horn volume adjustment amount;

determining the average value, particularly the weighted average value, of the vehicle horn volumes respectively determined according to the road speed limit information and the area attribute information as the final horn volume; or
And determining the maximum value or the minimum value in the loudspeaker volume respectively determined according to the road speed limit information and the area attribute information as the final loudspeaker volume.
