A water-based fireproof coating for steel members and a preparation method thereof relate to the technical field of fireproof coatings, and comprise the following components: 250 parts of polyurethane modified acrylate emulsion 180, 30-38 parts of dodecyl alcohol ester, 20-30 parts of ammonium borate, 18-23 parts of expandable graphite, 22-28 parts of superfine kaolin, 2-5 parts of aqueous dispersant, 2-5 parts of aqueous defoamer, 1-2 parts of mildew preventive and a proper amount of deionized water. The water-based fireproof coating has the advantages of fewer related components, lower cost, good comprehensive performance and very good market application prospect.

Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of fireproof coatings, in particular to a water-based fireproof coating for a steel member and a preparation method thereof.
Background
At present, most of steel structure coatings are oily paints, and the paints contain organic solvents, on one hand, the organic solvents are easy to volatilize, and most of the organic solvents are toxic and harmful and have adverse effects on the environment; on the other hand, the resin and the organic solvent in the paint are organic compounds and are inflammable, and part of the organic solvent is explosive, which brings potential safety hazard to environmental places using the paint.
Waterborne fire-retardant coatings have emerged on the market for safety and environmental compliance. Chinese patent document CN109370336A discloses a water-based intumescent fire-retardant coating for a steel structure, which improves the heat insulation capability of the coating at the initial foaming expansion stage by adding modified potassium titanate whiskers, but the modified potassium titanate whiskers are prepared from potassium titanate whiskers, nano titanium dioxide and an aluminate coupling agent, and the cost is high. Chinese patent document CN104530890A discloses an aqueous acrylate fire-retardant coating, which uses potato starch to replace a part of pentaerythritol, thereby reducing the production cost of the coating, however, the addition of potato starch causes the problem of the reduction of the mildew-proof performance of the coating, although the coating utilizes the good waterproof performance of montmorillonite and methacrylic acid composite modified acrylate core-shell emulsion and the addition of mildew-proof agent DE to improve the mildew-proof performance of the coating, when the atmosphere of the use environment of the coating contains corrosive substances, such as chloride ions, the starch can mildew after a long time due to the strong penetrating ability of the chloride ions, thereby forming fine mildew stains on the surface of the coating, that is, the addition of the potato starch reduces the production cost of the coating, but also reduces the salt fog resistance of the coating. Meanwhile, the coating disclosed in the document is relatively high in component, and the purchase and storage cost of raw materials is high for large-scale production in factories.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a water-based fireproof coating which is less in components, lower in cost, good in comprehensive performance and applicable to steel members.
In order to solve the technical problems, the invention adopts the following technical scheme: an aqueous fire retardant coating for steel components comprising the following components: 250 parts of polyurethane modified acrylate emulsion 180, 30-38 parts of dodecyl alcohol ester, 20-30 parts of ammonium borate, 18-23 parts of expandable graphite, 22-28 parts of superfine kaolin, 2-5 parts of aqueous dispersant, 2-5 parts of aqueous defoamer, 1-2 parts of mildew preventive and a proper amount of deionized water.
Wherein the superfine kaolin is 3000-mesh kaolin powder.
Preferably, the polyurethane modified acrylate emulsion is 240 parts by weight, the dodecanol ester is 30 parts by weight, the ammonium borate is 27 parts by weight, the expandable graphite is 19 parts by weight, the superfine kaolin is 26 parts by weight, the aqueous dispersant is 3 parts by weight, the aqueous defoamer is 3 parts by weight, and the mildew preventive is 1.5 parts by weight.
As another aspect of the present invention, a method for preparing the above-described aqueous fireproof coating for steel members, characterized by comprising the steps of:
adding part of deionized water into a small charging bucket, heating to 80-85 ℃, adding ammonium borate, and stirring to completely dissolve;
stopping heating, cooling to 40-5 ℃, stirring, sequentially adding superfine kaolin, which can swell graphite, and uniformly mixing to obtain a uniformly mixed substance;
thirdly, adding the polyurethane modified acrylate emulsion, the uniform mixture obtained in the second step, the dodecyl alcohol ester, the water-based dispersant, the defoaming agent and the mildew preventive into a grinding machine in sequence, and carrying out strong grinding;
and fourthly, sampling to test viscosity, and adjusting the viscosity to a proper range by using deionized water to obtain the water-based fireproof coating for the steel member.
The main components (the main components of the coating except the conventional components of the dispersant, the defoamer and the mildew preventive) of the invention only comprise 5 components, so that the main components are less than the components of the existing water-based fireproof coating, the purchase and storage cost of materials in large-scale production in factories is relatively low, and the market prices of the 5 components are low, so the production cost of the coating is low. The paint is subjected to a neutral salt spray test (GB/1771), an adhesion test (GB/1720), a water resistance test and a fire resistance test (refer to the application technical specification CECS 24: 90 of the steel structure fireproof paint) according to related national standards, and the test results are as follows: the neutral salt spray test is carried out for 270h, the base body is free of rust, the color of the paint surface is consistent and free of visible spots, the adhesion force test result is more than 1 grade (1-0 grade), the water resistance test is carried out for 72 hours, wrinkling and falling do not exist, the fire resistance limit reaches more than 2 hours, and the test result shows that the comprehensive performance of the paint disclosed by the invention is superior to that of the water-based fireproof paint in the background technology.
