Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of cork processing, in particular to coffee cork and a preparation method and application thereof.
Background
Cork (Phellem), commonly known as Chinese pine, cork bark, is a well-developed bark product of tree species, with the surface protective tissue after the stems and roots have grown coarse. Ancient Egypt, Greek and Roman were used to make fishing net floats, shoe-pads, bottle stoppers, etc. The main tree species for producing cork is Quercus suber and Quercus suber, and the first harvest and peeling can be carried out on the plants which are usually 20 years or more and have the diameter at breast height of more than 20 cm, and the obtained skin is called as first skin or hide. And later, the leather is picked and peeled every 10 to 20 years, the obtained leather is called regenerated leather, and the thickness of the leather is more than 2 cm.
Cork consists of many flat cells arranged in a radial pattern. The cellular cavities often contain resins and tannin compounds and are filled with air, so that cork is often colored, light and soft in texture, elastic, impervious to water, not susceptible to chemicals, and a poor conductor of electricity, heat and sound. Consists of 14-sided dead cells, which are arranged radially with respect to one another in the form of hexagonal prisms. The typical cell diameter is 30 microns, and the cell thickness is 1-2 microns. There are conduits between the cells. The space between two adjacent cells is composed of 5 layers, two of which are fibrous, followed by two layers of cork, the middle of which is a layer of wood, with more than 5000 ten thousand cells per 1 cubic centimeter.
Due to the structure of the cork, the cork leather has the advantages of good elasticity, sealing property, heat insulation property, sound insulation property, electrical insulation property and friction resistance, and no toxicity, no smell, small specific gravity, soft hand feeling, difficult ignition and the like, and no artificial product can be compared with the cork leather to date. Chemically, the ester mixture formed by several hydroxy fatty acids and phenolic acids is a characteristic component of cork, collectively called cork resin.
Because of corrosion resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, the cork grease has no chemical effect on water, grease, gasoline, organic acid, salt, ester and the like except for the action of corrosion on concentrated nitric acid, concentrated sulfuric acid, chlorine, iodine and the like. The method has wide application, such as bottle stopper making, refrigeration equipment heat insulation layer, life buoy, sound insulation board and the like.
However, because no artificial products can be substituted in the market, and the trees of the quercus suber and the quercus variabilis need a long time in the growing process, the consumption is continuously increased, and the resources are more and more scarce, so that the emergence of cork which saves raw materials is urgently needed.
