The buffer status of the unicast communication may refer to the buffer status of the logical channel or the logical channel group corresponding to the unicast communication of the direct communication interface, where the logical channel or the logical channel group corresponding to the unicast communication may also be referred to as a logical channel or a logical channel group of the unicast communication, or may also be referred to as a logical channel or a logical channel group using the unicast communication.
The buffer status of the multicast communication may refer to the buffer status of the logical channel or the logical channel group corresponding to the multicast communication of the direct communication interface, where the logical channel or the logical channel group corresponding to the multicast communication may also be referred to as a logical channel or a logical channel group of the multicast communication, or may also be referred to as a logical channel or a logical channel group using the multicast communication.
The buffer status of the multicast communication and the buffer status of the broadcast communication can be referred to the description of the buffer status of the unicast communication and the buffer status of the multicast communication, which are not described herein.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present invention, the buffer status may also be referred to as buffer status information.
Therefore, after the network side equipment receives the BSR, the communication mode of the direct communication interface can be distinguished through the BSR, so that more accurate scheduling can be performed according to the communication mode, and further the resource scheduling effect of the network side on the direct communication is improved. For example, buffer states corresponding to unicast and multicast services (or unicast, multicast and broadcast services) can be reported independently when the buffer states of the direct communication link are reported, so that the network side can schedule unicast more accurately.
As an optional implementation manner, the BSR includes indication information, where the indication information is used to distinguish a buffer status of unicast communication and multicast communication of the direct communication interface, or distinguish a buffer status of unicast communication, multicast communication and broadcast communication of the direct communication interface.
The indication information may be newly added indication information in the BSR, or the indication information may be obtained by extending a function of some information in the BSR.
In this embodiment, the indication information directly indicates the buffer status of the different communication modes, so that the network device can directly and accurately distinguish the buffer status of each communication mode of the direct communication interface.
In one implementation, the indication information may be included in a MAC subheader corresponding to the BSR MAC CE.
Thus, the buffer area state of each communication mode of the direct communication interface can be determined and distinguished through the MAC subheader.
In this implementation manner, the indication information may be LCID, and the BSR may include at least one of the following:
a first BSR MAC CE, where an LCID in a MAC subheader corresponding to the first BSR MAC CE is used to indicate that the first BSR MAC CE is a BSR MAC CE for unicast communication of the direct communication interface, and the first BSR MAC CE includes a buffer status of a logical channel or a logical channel group corresponding to unicast communication of the direct communication interface;
and the LCID in the MAC subheader corresponding to the second BSR MAC CE is used for indicating that the second BSR MAC CE is the BSR MAC CE of the direct communication interface multicast communication, and the second BSR MAC CE comprises the buffer area state of the logic channel or the logic channel group corresponding to the direct communication interface multicast communication.
In this manner, distinguishing between unicast and multicast in BSR MAC CEs may be implemented, and specifically, different BSR MAC CEs may be defined to distinguish between unicast and multicast, for example: two BSR MAC CEs are defined for direct communication interface unicast and multicast and distinguished by LCID.
Therefore, the buffer area states of the logic channel groups corresponding to different communication modes can be carried by different BSR MAC CEs, and the buffer area states can be more favorably distinguished.
Note that, when the instruction information is LCID, the LCID may be extended, for example: taking the uplink shared channel (Uplink Shared Channel, UL-SCH) as an example, the value for UL-SCH LCID (Values of LCID for UL-SCH) can be as shown in table 1:

Optionally, for a logical channel group, a buffer status of a logical channel corresponding to unicast communication included in the logical channel group is carried by the first BSR MAC CE; the buffer status of the logical channel corresponding to the multicast communication contained in the logical channel group is carried by the second BSR MAC CE.
Therefore, the buffer area states of the logic channels corresponding to different communication modes of the same logic channel group can be carried by different BSR MAC CEs, so that the buffer area states of the logic channels of different communication modes in the same logic channel group can be accurately distinguished. For example: when the terminal reports the buffer status, whether unicast or multicast is further distinguished according to a plurality of logical channels belonging to the same logical channel group is required, and the buffer status is reported through corresponding Sidelink BSR MAC CE.
Optionally, the indication information is LCID, and the BSR includes at least one of the following:
a third BSR MAC CE, where an LCID in a MAC subheader corresponding to the third BSR MAC CE is used to indicate that the third BSR MAC CE is a BSR MAC CE for unicast communication of the direct communication interface, and the third BSR MAC CE includes a buffer status of a logical channel or a logical channel group corresponding to unicast communication of the direct communication interface;
a fourth BSR MAC CE, where an LCID in a MAC subheader corresponding to the fourth BSR MAC CE is used to indicate that the fourth BSR MAC CE is a BSR MAC CE for multicast communication of the direct communication interface, and the fourth BSR MAC CE includes a buffer status of a logical channel or a logical channel group corresponding to the multicast communication of the direct communication interface;
And the LCID in the MAC sub-header corresponding to the fifth BSR MAC CE is used for indicating that the fifth BSR MAC CE is the BSR MAC CE for broadcasting communication of the direct communication interface, and the fifth BSR MAC CE comprises the buffer area state of the logic channel or the logic channel group corresponding to the broadcasting communication of the direct communication interface.
In this manner, the BSR MAC CE may be differentiated from unicast, multicast and broadcast, and specifically different BSR MAC CE differentiation from unicast, multicast and broadcast may be defined, for example: a plurality of BSR MAC CEs are defined for direct communication interfaces unicast, multicast and broadcast and distinguished by LCID.
Therefore, the buffer area states of the logic channel groups corresponding to different communication modes can be carried by different BSR MAC CEs, and the buffer area states can be more favorably distinguished.
Further, for a logical channel group, the buffer status of the logical channel corresponding to the unicast communication included in the logical channel group may be carried by the third BSR MAC CE; the buffer status of the logical channel corresponding to the multicast communication contained in the logical channel group can be carried by the fourth BSR MAC CE; the buffer status of the logical channel corresponding to the broadcast communication contained in the logical channel group may be carried by the fifth BSR MAC CE.
Therefore, the buffer area states of the logic channels corresponding to different communication modes of the same logic channel group can be carried by different BSR MAC CEs, so that the buffer area states of the logic channels of different communication modes in the same logic channel group can be accurately distinguished. For example: when the terminal reports the buffer status, the terminal needs to further distinguish unicast, multicast and broadcast aiming at a plurality of logical channels belonging to the same logical channel group, and reports the unicast, the multicast and the broadcast through corresponding Sidelink BSR MAC CE respectively.
In another implementation, the indication information may be contained in a BSR MAC CE.
In this implementation, unicast and multicast for the direct communication interface may be implemented, or unicast and multicast/broadcast use the same BSR MAC CE, in which unicast and multicast are distinguished by indication information, or unicast and multicast/broadcast are distinguished. Since the same BSR MAC CE is used, the overhead of the BSR is reduced.
Alternatively, in this implementation, the indication information may be carried based on a target identification (Destination index) or based on a logical channel group.
This allows to distinguish whether unicast or multicast, or to distinguish unicast, multicast and broadcast, with granularity of the target identification.
And it is also possible to distinguish whether unicast or multicast or to distinguish unicast, multicast and broadcast with the logical channel group as granularity.
In this embodiment, specifically, the target identifier or the indication information based on the logical channel group may be added to the BSR MAC CE to indicate the communication manner of the target identifier or the logical channel group.
Optionally, if the same logical channel group includes both a logical channel corresponding to unicast communication and a logical channel corresponding to multicast communication, the buffer status of the logical channel corresponding to unicast communication in the logical channel group and the buffer status of the logical channel corresponding to multicast communication in the logical channel group need to be reported in the BSR MAC CE for the same logical channel group, and the indication information is carried for each buffer status; or,
if the same logic channel group contains both logic channels using unicast and logic channels using multicast and broadcast, the buffer area states of the logic channels corresponding to the unicast communication in the logic channel group, the buffer area states of the logic channels corresponding to the multicast communication in the logic channel group and the buffer area states of the logic channels corresponding to the broadcast communication in the logic channel group need to be reported respectively for the same logic channel group in the BSR MAC CE, and the indication information is carried respectively for each buffer area state.
In this embodiment, the buffer status of the logical channels in different communication modes may be reported in the BSR MAC CE, so as to distinguish the buffer status of the logical channels in different communication modes in the same logical channel group. For example: when the terminal reports the buffer status, whether unicast or multicast/broadcast can be further distinguished for a plurality of logical channels belonging to the same logical channel group. Specifically, when the report is Sidelink BSR MAC CE, the Buffer status corresponding to the unicast logical channel is put in the Buffer Size (BS) domain corresponding to the unicast indication information, and the Buffer status corresponding to the multicast/broadcast logical channel is put in the BS domain corresponding to the multicast indication information, but the two logical channel group identifiers (Logical Channel Group Identifier, LCG ID) are the same.
Optionally, if the indication information is carried based on the target identifier and the BSR includes a plurality of identical target identifiers, the indication information is carried only when the target identifier first appears in the BSR MAC CE.
The target identifier may be any target identifier included in the BSR.
In this embodiment, if the BSR MAC CE includes multiple identical target identifiers, only one indication information corresponding to the target identifier needs to be carried, so as to reduce the overhead of the BSR MAC CE.
As an alternative embodiment, the method further comprises:
the terminal receives configuration information of a network side, wherein the configuration information distinguishes the buffer status of unicast communication and multicast communication of the direct communication interface through a logical channel group identification LCG ID, or distinguishes the buffer status of unicast communication, multicast communication and broadcast communication of the direct communication interface through the LCG ID, so as to ensure that the buffer status of unicast communication and multicast communication of the direct communication interface can be distinguished through the LCG ID in the BSR, or the buffer status of unicast communication, multicast communication and broadcast communication of the direct communication interface can be distinguished through the LCG ID.
In this embodiment, the network side may be configured to distinguish between unicast communication and multicast communication, or between unicast communication, multicast communication and broadcast communication, or between unicast and multicast/broadcast in configuring a logical channel and logical channel group mapping relationship.
Therefore, the buffer area state of the unicast communication and the multicast communication of the direct communication interface can be distinguished through the BSR under the condition that the BSR does not increase the content and does not change the BSR, or at least the buffer area state of the unicast communication, the multicast communication and the broadcast communication of the direct communication interface can be distinguished, so that the complexity is reduced and the cost of the BSR is reduced.
Optionally, in this embodiment, a transmission manner of a logical channel in the same logical channel group in the logical channel group corresponding to the BSR is the same, where the transmission manner refers to unicast communication or multicast communication, or the transmission manner refers to unicast communication, multicast communication or broadcast communication.
Therefore, when the configuration is carried out, the communication modes in the same logic channel group are the same, and the communication modes of the logic channels are distinguished directly through the LCG ID. For example: if the mapping relation between the direct communication interface logical channel and the logical channel group is directly configured by the network, the network needs to ensure unicast and multicast or the unicast and multicast/broadcast logical channels cannot be mapped into the same logical channel group.
Optionally, in the foregoing embodiment, a plurality of logical channel groups are configured in the configuration information corresponding to the same set of QoS parameters, and the unicast communication and the multicast communication use different logical channel groups, or the unicast communication, the multicast communication, and the broadcast communication use different logical channel groups.
In this embodiment, a plurality of logical channel groups may be configured for the same set of QoS parameters, where unicast communication and multicast communication use different logical channel groups, or unicast communication, multicast communication, and broadcast communication use different logical channel groups, so that the communication manner of the logical channels is directly distinguished by LCG ID. For example: if the network side only configures the mapping relation between the QoS parameter and the logic channel group, the network side needs to ensure that the same set of QoS parameter needs to correspond to two logic channel group identifications when configuring, wherein one corresponds to unicast, the other corresponds to multicast, or one corresponds to unicast and the other corresponds to multicast/broadcast. Or, the same set of QoS parameters needs to correspond to three logical channel group identities, one corresponding to unicast, the other corresponding to multicast, and the other corresponding to broadcast.
Optionally, before the terminal reports the BSR of the direct communication link in the above embodiment, the method further includes:
the terminal reports auxiliary information, wherein the auxiliary information comprises at least one of the following items:
a logic channel identifier and a transmission mode of a logic channel corresponding to the logic channel identifier;
QoS parameters of a logical channel.
In this embodiment, since the terminal reports the auxiliary information, the network side device may combine or configure the auxiliary information when configuring the configuration information, so as to improve accuracy and efficiency of the configuration information. Of course, in the embodiment of the present invention, the auxiliary information is not limited to reporting by the terminal, for example: the network side device may be preconfigured, or predefined in a protocol, etc., which is not limited.
It should be noted that the embodiment of the present invention may be applied to a V2X communication system, or may be applied to other systems that need direct communication, such as a New Radio (NR) communication system, and the following description will be given by way of example of the NR system in the above embodiments:
example 1: differentiation by LCID
In this embodiment, the terminal determines whether the sip BSR is triggered based on the Sidelink BSR MAC CE trigger condition, and once the sip BSR is triggered, the terminal needs to organize Sidelink BSR MAC CE.
When the terminal performs buffer status reporting, it is required to further distinguish whether unicast or multicast/broadcast (or distinguish whether unicast or multicast) is performed for a plurality of logical channels belonging to the same logical channel group, and report the result through corresponding Sidelink BSR MAC CE.
Based on the above method, assume that:
target identification (Destination index, or destination ID): for indicating a communication destination identification, assuming that 3 bits are occupied;
LCG ID: logical channel group identity, assuming 2 bits are occupied;
buffer Size (Buffer Size): the buffer status size corresponding to the logical channel group is assumed to occupy 6 bits.
The Sidelink BSR MAC CE format in the NR system may be as shown in fig. 3 and 4, where the fig. 3 sidlink BSR/truncated Sidelink BSR MAC CE (N is even), where Oct may represent octet (one 8-bit group). While figure 4 shows a Sidelink BSR/truncated Sidelink BSR MAC CE (N is an odd number), R may represent a reservation.
To distinguish between unicast and multicast/broadcast (or to distinguish between unicast and multicast) when the direct communication link buffer status report is in progress, two different LCIDs may be defined for unicast and multicast/broadcast (or unicast and multicast), respectively. Namely, LCIDs corresponding to unicast and multicast/broadcast are respectively added in LCID tables corresponding to the UL-SCH of the NR system. Considering that there is a truncated Sidelink BSR MAC CE, unicast and multicast/broadcast may occupy 2 LCIDs, respectively, see table 1 for specific details, and corresponding description of table 1, which will not be repeated here.
Example 2: carrying indication information based on target identification (Destination index)
The terminal determines whether the sip BSR is triggered based on the Sidelink BSR MAC CE trigger condition, and once the sip BSR is triggered, the terminal needs to organize Sidelink BSR MAC CE.
In this embodiment, the same BSR MAC CE is used for unicast and multicast/broadcast (or unicast and multicast) of the direct communication interface, and the indication information is added to distinguish unicast and multicast/broadcast (or distinguish unicast or multicast) in the BSR MAC CE. More specifically, whether unicast or multicast/broadcast (or whether unicast or multicast) is distinguished by granularity of the destination identifier, that is, whether the logical channel corresponding to each logical channel group reported by the destination address is unicast or multicast/broadcast (or whether unicast or multicast) is indicated based on the destination address.
Based on the above method, assume that:
t: for indicating whether the target identity (Destination index) corresponds to unicast or multicast/broadcast;
target identification (Destination index): for indicating a communication destination identification, assuming that 4 bits are occupied;
LCG ID: logical channel group identity, assuming 3 bits are occupied;
buffer Size (Buffer Size): the buffer status size corresponding to the logical channel group is assumed to occupy 8 bits.
The Sidelink BSR MAC CE format schematic may be as shown in fig. 5 or as shown in fig. 6.
It should be noted that if the distinction is made at the granularity of the destination identification as unicast or multicast/broadcast (or whether the distinction is made as unicast or multicast), the T-field corresponding to one destination identification may occur only once in Sidelink BSR MAC CE. If this optimization is supported, then the second graph is used appropriately. For example: sidelink BSR MAC CE for one Destination index, if Buffer size information of different LCG IDs is to be reported, destination index +lcg id+buffer size needs to be reported once for each LCG ID; if unicast or multicast is distinguished based on Destination index, then although multiple times may occur (reporting Buffer size for different Destination index, under the LCG) in the same Destination index in the BSR MAC CE, as an optimization, the T field may be carried just before the first LCG ID Destination index, and no T indication may be carried when the other LCG IDs report Buffer size. In this case, it is preferable to use fig. 6 because fig. 6 reads Destination index first, and it can be determined whether the T-field is carried later according to what number of occurrences Destination index are in the BSR MAC CE.
Example 3: carrying the indication information based on the logic channel group
The terminal determines whether the sip BSR is triggered based on the Sidelink BSR MAC CE trigger condition, and once the sip BSR is triggered, the terminal needs to organize Sidelink BSR MAC CE.
When the terminal performs buffer status report, it is necessary to further distinguish whether unicast or multicast/broadcast (or distinguish whether unicast or multicast) is performed for a plurality of logical channels belonging to the same logical channel group. When Sidelink BSR MAC CE, the buffer status information corresponding to the unicast logical channel is put in the BS domain corresponding to the unicast indication information, and the buffer status information corresponding to the multicast/broadcast logical channel is put in the BS domain corresponding to the unicast indication information, but the LCG IDs are the same.
In this embodiment, the same BSR MAC CE is used for unicast and multicast/broadcast (or unicast and multicast) of the direct communication interface, and the indication information is added to distinguish unicast and multicast/broadcast (or distinguish unicast or multicast) in the BSR MAC CE. More specifically, the logical channel group is used as granularity to distinguish whether unicast or multicast/broadcast (or distinguish whether unicast or multicast), that is, whether the buffer status report corresponding to the logical channel group is directed to unicast or multicast/broadcast (or unicast or multicast) is indicated based on the logical channel group.
Based on the above method, assume that:
t: for indicating whether the logical channel group corresponds to unicast or multicast/broadcast;
target identification (Destination index): for indicating a communication destination identification, assuming that 4 bits are occupied;
LCG ID: logical channel group identity, assuming 3 bits are occupied;
buffer Size (Buffer Size): the buffer status size corresponding to the logical channel group is assumed to occupy 8 bits.
A Sidelink BSR MAC CE format schematic may be as shown in fig. 7.
Example 4: the transmission modes of the logic channels in the same logic channel group in the logic channel group corresponding to the BSR are the same
The terminal determines whether the sip BSR is triggered based on the Sidelink BSR MAC CE trigger condition, and once the sip BSR is triggered, the terminal needs to organize Sidelink BSR MAC CE. In order to ensure that the logical channels of unicast and multicast/broadcast (or unicast and multicast) need to be mapped to different logical channel groups when the terminal organizes Sidelink BSR MAC CE, the following manner needs to be considered:
if the mapping relationship between the direct communication interface logical channels and the logical channel groups is directly configured by the network, the network configuration needs to ensure that the logical channels of unicast and multicast/broadcast (or unicast and multicast) cannot be mapped into the same logical channel group.
In order to better ensure that the logic channels of unicast and multicast/broadcast (or unicast and multicast) can not be mapped to the same logic channel group when the network is configured, the terminal can report auxiliary information, and the auxiliary information content at least comprises the following contents:
the identification of the Sidelink logical channel and whether the logical channel corresponds to unicast or multicast/broadcast;
QoS parameters corresponding to the Sidelink logical channels.
Example 5: configuring multiple logical channel groups corresponding to the same set of QoS parameters
The terminal determines whether the sip BSR is triggered based on the Sidelink BSR MAC CE trigger condition, and once the sip BSR is triggered, the terminal needs to organize Sidelink BSR MAC CE. In order to ensure that the logical channels of unicast and multicast/broadcast (or unicast and multicast) need to be mapped to different logical channel groups when the terminal organizes Sidelink BSR MAC CE, the following manner needs to be considered:
if the network side only configures the mapping relation between the QoS parameter and the logic channel group, the network side needs to ensure that the same set of QoS parameter needs to correspond to two logic channel group identifications when configuring, wherein one corresponds to unicast and the other corresponds to multicast/broadcast.
When the terminal organizes Sidelink BSR MAC CE based on the QoS parameter and the logic channel group mapping relation configured by the network side, a plurality of logic channels with the same target identifier and QoS parameter can be further grouped according to whether the corresponding service is unicast or multicast/broadcast (or whether the service is unicast or multicast), and the logic channels corresponding to the unicast are placed into the unicast logic channel group corresponding to the QoS parameter; the buffer status of the logical channel corresponding to the multicast/broadcast is put into the group of multicast/broadcast logical channels corresponding to the QoS parameter.
In the embodiment of the invention, the terminal reports the BSR of the direct communication link, wherein the BSR can at least distinguish the buffer status of unicast communication and multicast communication of the direct communication interface or at least distinguish the buffer status of unicast communication, multicast communication and broadcast communication of the direct communication interface. Therefore, the network side equipment distinguishes the communication mode of the direct communication interface through the BSR, so that more accurate scheduling can be performed according to the communication mode, and further the resource scheduling effect of the network side on the direct communication is improved.
Referring to fig. 8, fig. 8 is a flowchart of a BSR reporting method according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 8, including the following steps:
801. the network side equipment receives a BSR of a direct communication link reported by the terminal, wherein the BSR can at least distinguish the buffer status of unicast communication and multicast communication of a direct communication interface or at least distinguish the buffer status of unicast communication, multicast communication and broadcast communication of the direct communication interface.
