Background
When a New Radio (NR) or a Long Term Evolution (LTE) handover occurs, an electronic device is required to Report a Measurement Report (MR), such as Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP), Reference Signal Received Quality (RSRQ), and the like, where different reporting events trigger different handover types.
In part of communication systems, the situation that signal measurement values of two frequency points configured by a data network in the same place are relatively close exists, and measurement reporting is triggered by part of the network as long as the signal measurement values slightly fluctuate, so that switching occurs. In a wireless environment, signals of an electronic device may be affected by the direction and holding manner of the electronic device, for example, when the bottom or top of the electronic device is slightly blocked and the direction of the electronic device is changed, signal measurement values may be affected, so that the electronic device is easily switched back and forth between a serving cell and an adjacent cell, that is, ping-pong switching, and frequent ping-pong switching easily causes problems of jamming, power consumption increase and the like of the electronic device.
At present, the optimization mode for ping-pong handover is generally based on the corresponding optimization of a specific type of ping-pong handover, and the optimization mode is single and cannot avoid frequent ping-pong handover.

Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, not all, embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for reporting a measurement report, which is applied to an electronic device, and includes:
step 11: and under the condition of meeting the reporting condition of the measurement report, acquiring first cell information of a currently serving first cell and second cell information of at least one second cell which triggers reporting.
Optionally, if a requirement for triggering an event of a first Radio Access Type (RAT) is met, it may be determined that a reporting condition of a measurement report is met; such as: when the signal measurement value is determined to have fluctuation, it can be determined that the reporting condition of the measurement report is satisfied.
The first cell is a serving cell where the electronic equipment is located currently; the first cell information includes, but is not limited to: measured values determined by the RAT, cell current residence time, cell ID, frequency point information, and the like. The second cell may be at least one neighbor cell that triggers reporting among a plurality of neighbor cells of the serving cell; the second cell information includes, but is not limited to: the measured value determined by the RAT, the current residence time of the cell, the cell ID, the frequency point information, the wireless access type of triggering and reporting and the like.
It should be noted that the parameter in the cell information may also be other parameters besides the above, and specifically may be determined according to a parameter that needs to be detected for a preset ping-pong handover type that needs to be detected, which is not limited in this embodiment of the present invention.
Step 12: and determining whether the first cell information and the second cell information meet a switching condition corresponding to a target ping-pong switching type.
Wherein the target ping-pong handover type is any one of at least one preset ping-pong handover type.
Optionally, ping-pong handover types to be detected may be preset, where the ping-pong handover types include, but are not limited to: ping-pong handover between two cells with the same frequency, ping-pong handover between two cells with different frequencies, ping-pong handover between multiple cells with the same frequency, ping-pong handover between multiple cells with different frequencies, etc. Specifically, the preset ping-pong handover types and numbers to be detected may be selected according to actual requirements, and embodiments of the present invention are not specifically limited.
Wherein, the switching conditions corresponding to different ping-pong switching types are different. Assuming that switching occurs between a first cell and a second cell, detecting whether first cell information and second cell information meet respective corresponding switching conditions of a preset ping-pong switching type; thus, whether the target ping-pong handover type corresponding to the target handover condition met by the first cell information and the second cell information exists in the at least one preset ping-pong handover type can be determined.
Step 13: if the first cell information and the second cell information meet the switching condition, determining whether the first cell information and the second cell information meet the exit condition of the target ping-pong switching type.
Optionally, if the first cell information and the second cell information satisfy the handover condition corresponding to the target ping-pong handover type, determining that the ping-pong handover of the target ping-pong handover type can be performed between the first cell and the second cell; further determining whether the first cell information and the second cell information satisfy an exit condition of the target ping-pong handover type; if the first cell information and the second cell information meet the exit condition, determining that the ping-pong handover can be automatically exited when the exit condition is met when the ping-pong handover of the target ping-pong handover type is performed between the first cell and the second cell; and if at least one of the first cell information and the second cell information does not satisfy the exit condition, determining that the ping-pong handover cannot be automatically exited when the ping-pong handover is performed between the first cell and the second cell.
Optionally, the exit condition may be: the method comprises the following steps that the residence time of a first cell reaches a first preset time, or the residence time of a second cell reaches a second preset time, or the total residence time of the first cell and the second cell reaches a third preset time, or the signal intensity of the first cell is higher than the first preset intensity, or the signal intensity of the second cell is lower than the second preset intensity, or the signal intensity of the first cell is higher than the signal intensity of the second cell, or the combination of at least two of the above steps.
Such as: for ping-pong handover of two cells with the same frequency, the exit condition may be that the ping-pong handover exits when the residence time of the first cell and the second cell reaches a preset time threshold; or when the signal change difference value of the first cell and the second cell exceeds a preset difference value, the ping-pong switching is exited; or when the signal intensity of the first cell is larger than that of the second cell, the ping-pong handover is exited. Of course, the specific exit condition may be different according to different ping-pong handover types, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited thereto.
Step 14: and reporting a measurement report which does not carry the second cell information if at least one of the first cell information and the second cell information does not meet the exit condition.
Optionally, when at least one of the first cell information and the second cell information does not satisfy an exit condition, that is, when ping-pong handover is performed between the first cell and the second cell, the ping-pong handover cannot be automatically exited, the second cell information is not written in a measurement report reported by the electronic device to the base station, that is, ping-pong handover between the first cell and the second cell is prevented from occurring, so as to avoid frequent handover between the first cell and the second cell.
In the scheme, under the condition that the reporting condition of the measurement report is met, first cell information of a first cell currently served and second cell information of at least one second cell triggering reporting are obtained; when the first cell information and the second cell information are determined to meet the switching conditions corresponding to the target ping-pong switching type, determining whether the first cell information and the second cell information meet the quitting conditions of the target ping-pong switching type; if at least one of the first cell information and the second cell information does not satisfy the exit condition, reporting a measurement report not carrying the second cell information to prevent ping-pong handover between the first cell and the second cell from occurring, thereby avoiding frequent handover between the first cell and the second cell and problems of electronic equipment blocking, power consumption increase and the like possibly caused by frequent ping-pong handover;
in addition, in the embodiment of the invention, by detecting at least one preset ping-pong switching type, the centralized management of a plurality of preset ping-pong switching types is realized, and the problem that the corresponding optimization mode based on the specific ping-pong switching is single at present is solved.
Optionally, after step 12, the method may further include:
and reporting a measurement report carrying the second cell information if at least one of the first cell information and the second cell information does not meet the switching conditions corresponding to all the preset ping-pong switching types.
Specifically, assuming that a first cell and a second cell are switched, detecting whether first cell information and second cell information meet respective switching conditions corresponding to preset ping-pong switching types; if the first cell information and the second cell information do not satisfy the respective switching conditions corresponding to all the preset ping-pong switching types, that is, it can be determined that the hypothesis does not belong to any preset ping-pong switching type, when the electronic device reports a measurement report to the base station, the second cell information is written into the measurement report to continue the subsequent steps specified by the protocol, so as to ensure that the whole process can be completely performed.
Optionally, according to at least one of the above embodiments, after step 13, the method may further include:
and if the first cell information and the second cell information meet the exit condition, reporting a measurement report carrying the second cell information.
Specifically, if the first cell information and the second cell information satisfy the switching condition of the target ping-pong type, it is determined that the ping-pong switching can be automatically exited when the exiting condition is reached when the ping-pong switching of the target ping-pong switching type is performed between the first cell and the second cell, and the electronic device can write the second cell information into the measurement report when reporting the measurement report to the base station, so as to continue the subsequent steps specified by the protocol; thus, even if the switching occurs between the first cell and the second cell, the ping-pong switching can be exited when certain conditions are met, so as to avoid frequent switching between the first cell and the second cell.
Optionally, according to at least one of the above embodiments, the step 12 may specifically include:
determining whether the first cell information and the second cell information meet a switching condition corresponding to the preset ping-pong switching type in sequence according to a preset sequence of the at least one preset ping-pong switching type;
if the first cell information and the second cell information are determined to meet the switching condition corresponding to the first ping-pong switching type, determining that the first ping-pong switching type is the target ping-pong switching type; wherein the first ping-pong handover type is any one of the at least one preset ping-pong handover type;
if at least one of the first cell information and the second cell information is determined not to satisfy the switching conditions corresponding to the second ping-pong switching type, determining that the switching conditions corresponding to all the preset ping-pong switching types are not satisfied; wherein the second ping-pong handover type is one of the at least one preset ping-pong handover type that is located at a last bit in the preset sequence.
The above method is explained below with reference to specific examples:
if three ping-pong switching types are preset, the preset sequence is as follows: a first preset ping-pong switching type, a second preset ping-pong switching type and a third preset ping-pong switching type; wherein, the switching conditions corresponding to each preset ping-pong switching type are different;
firstly, determining whether first cell information and second cell information meet a first switching condition according to the first switching condition corresponding to a first preset ping-pong switching type; if the first switching condition is met, determining that the first preset ping-pong switching type is the target ping-pong switching type, and executing the step 13;
if the first switching condition is not met, determining whether the first cell information and the second cell information meet the second switching condition according to the second switching condition corresponding to a second preset ping-pong switching type; if the second switching condition is met, determining that the second preset ping-pong switching type is the target ping-pong switching type, and executing the step 13;
if the second switching condition is not met, determining whether the first cell information and the second cell information meet the third switching condition according to a third switching condition corresponding to a third preset ping-pong switching type; if the third switching condition is met, determining that the third preset ping-pong switching type is the target ping-pong switching type, and executing the step 13;
if the third preset ping-pong handover condition is not met, determining that the first cell information and the second cell information do not meet all the preset ping-pong handover types, and reporting a measurement report carrying the second cell information to continue the subsequent steps specified by the protocol.
It should be noted that, the above is described by taking the example of presetting three ping-pong handover types, and certainly, other numbers of ping-pong handover types may also be preset, and the specific determination step is similar to the above method and is not described herein again.
Optionally, according to at least one of the above embodiments, the step 12 may specifically include:
sequentially and continuously selecting N pieces of cell information to match with the first cell information and the second cell information according to the arrangement sequence of the cell information in a preset cell list; the preset cell list comprises cell information of a cell where the electronic equipment resides, and N is the sum of the number of the first cell and the number of the second cells;
if the N cell information is matched with the first cell information and the second cell information and meets a preset threshold condition, determining that the first cell information and the second cell information meet the switching condition of the target ping-pong switching type;
and if the N cell information is matched with the first cell information and the second cell information and does not meet the preset threshold condition, determining that the first cell information and the second cell information do not meet the switching condition of the target ping-pong switching type.
Specifically, when the electronic device performs cell handover, the cell information of the cell where the electronic device resides before the cell handover is stored in the preset cell list, such as: and under the condition that the electronic equipment is switched from the first cell to the second cell, storing the first cell information of the first cell into the preset cell list.
Optionally, the preset cell list may be organized in a sequential structure or a chain structure; optionally, the cell information stored in the preset cell list may be sorted according to the storage time, such as: under the condition that the electronic equipment is switched from a first cell to a second cell, storing first cell information of the first cell to a position with the most front arrangement sequence in the preset cell list; the most advanced position is understood to be the position that is output first, and is not limited to the first position, but may be the first position.
Optionally, the preset threshold condition is: and the continuous matching times of the N cell information, the first cell information and the second cell information reach a preset time threshold value.
The above method is explained below with reference to specific examples:
if the preset cell list stores the cell information of a plurality of resident cells, the sequence is as follows: cell information A, B, C, D, E, F; the number of second cells is 1, i.e. N is 2; the preset threshold value is 2;
for example, the cell information a includes: cell ID1, frequency point 100, RAT LTE, and dwell time 20;
the cell information B includes: cell ID2, frequency point 200, RAT LTE, and dwell time 23;
the cell information C includes: cell ID1, frequency point 100, RAT LTE, and dwell time 12;
the cell information D includes: cell ID2, frequency point 200, RAT LTE, and dwell time 24;
the cell information E includes: cell ID5, frequency point 500, RAT LTE, and dwell time 30;
the cell information F includes: cell ID1, frequency point 100, RAT LTE, and dwell time 11;
selecting 2 cell information in a preset cell list, namely cell information A and cell information B, in sequence for the 1 st time; matching the first cell information with one of cell information A and cell information B, and matching the second cell information with the other of cell information A and cell information B (for example, for the same-frequency two-cell ping-pong handover under LTE, if the cell IDs, the frequency points and the like are the same, the matching is determined);
if the first cell information and the second cell information are matched with the cell information A and the cell information B, accumulating the matching times to be 1; at this time, if the accumulated matching times do not reach the preset threshold, 2 cell information, namely cell information C and cell information D, is selected at the 2 nd time; matching the first cell information with one of the cell information C and the cell information D, and matching the second cell information with the other of the cell information C and the cell information D;
if the first cell information and the second cell information are matched with the cell information C and the cell information D, accumulating the matching times to be 2; at this time, if the accumulated matching times reach a preset threshold, it is determined that the first cell information and the second cell information meet the switching condition corresponding to the target ping-pong switching type.
If the first cell information and the second cell information are not matched with the cell information C and the cell information D (for example, the first cell information is matched with the cell information C, the second cell information is not matched with the cell information D, the first cell information is not matched with the cell information C, the second cell information is matched with the cell information D, or the first cell information is not matched with the cell information C, and the second cell information is not matched with the cell information D), clearing the accumulated matching times, selecting 2 cell information for the 3 rd time, namely the cell information E and the cell information F, and matching until the continuous matching times of the selected 2 cell information and the first cell information and the second cell information reach a preset threshold value, and ending the current matching process. Or, if there is no unmatched cell in the preset cell list and the preset matching condition is not met, determining that the first cell information and the second cell information do not meet the switching condition corresponding to the target ping-pong switching type.
Optionally, if the number of pieces of cell information that are not matched in the preset cell list is determined in the matching process, and the current matching process can be directly ended if the number of pieces of cell information that are not matched in the preset cell list does not meet the preset matching condition, and it is determined that the first cell information and the second cell information do not meet the switching condition corresponding to the target ping-pong switching type, so as to reduce the processing time and improve the processing efficiency.
It should be noted that the number of the cell information in the preset cell list, the number of the second cells, the preset threshold, and the like are exemplary descriptions, and when the number of the cell information in the preset cell list, the number of the second cells, the preset threshold, and the like are other values, the similar methods may also be used for matching, and details are not described here.
Optionally, the step of sequentially and continuously selecting N cell information to match the first cell information and the second cell information may specifically include:
matching the target parameters in the first cell information and the second cell information with the target parameters in the N cell information selected at the ith time; i is a positive integer;
and if the target parameters in the first cell information and the second cell information are matched with the target parameters in the ith selected N cell information, determining that the ith selected N cell information is matched with the first cell information and the second cell information.
Target parameters corresponding to different preset ping-pong switching types are different; the preset ping-pong switching types can be multiple, and the preset cell list can be one;
therefore, for different preset ping-pong handover types, the matched target parameters are different during matching, so that the preset ping-pong handover types can be ensured to be multiple, and under the condition that the preset cell list is one, the first cell information and the second cell information can be matched with the cell information stored in the preset cell list according to the different preset ping-pong handover types.
Referring to fig. 2, a block diagram of ping-pong handover determination is shown, wherein a ping-pong handover determination framework 201 is used for maintaining a cell list of a cell in which an electronic device resides, determining a ping-pong handover type, and determining an exit mechanism in case of ping-pong handover.
The ping-pong handover determination framework 201 includes: a ping-pong handover determining unit 202, configured to determine a ping-pong handover type; a ping-pong handover exit unit 203, configured to determine an exit mechanism in the case of ping-pong handover; the handover cell list storage unit 204 is configured to maintain a cell list of a cell in which the electronic device resides.
The following describes the method specifically with reference to the functions of the units in the block diagram for ping-pong handover determination:
as shown in fig. 3, when each unit in the ping-pong handover determination block diagram executes a corresponding function, the following steps are specifically executed:
step 301: judging whether the report condition of the MR is met;
when the MR report condition is satisfied, for example, the trigger condition of a certain RAT event is satisfied, the determination procedure of the ping-pong handover determination unit 202 is entered. And in this step, information of the currently camped cell (or first cell) (measurement value determined by RAT, cell current camping time, cell information), information of the trigger event cell (or second cell) (measurement value determined by RAT, cell current camping time, cell information), and type of the trigger event need to be transferred to the ping-pong handover determining unit 202. A ping-pong handover determining unit 202, configured to execute the following step 302 according to a plurality of ping-pong handover types (e.g., ping-pong handover between two cells with the same frequency, ping-pong handover between two cells with different frequencies, etc.) determined by the setting requirement;
step 302: sequentially determining whether the current handover (i.e. the handover between the current resident cell and the trigger event cell) will satisfy the ping-pong handover conditions (e.g. the handover condition may be a ping-pong handover detection threshold) corresponding to the preset ping-pong handover types;
if so, the following step 303 is performed, and if not, the following step 307 is performed.
Specifically, the ping-pong handover determining unit 202 obtains information of the cell where the electronic device resides, which is stored in the handover cell list storing unit 204; this information includes, but is not limited to: the RAT corresponding to the cell, cell information (for example, LTE is used, at least physical cell ID, frequency point information and the like are needed), the type of the trigger switching event, the cell residence time and the like. The ping-pong handover determination unit 202 determines whether the handover condition is satisfied based on these information. The handover cell list storage unit 204 may be organized in a sequential structure or a chain structure, and the cell that is newly handed over may be located at the most front position in the list.
When the electronic device is subjected to cell handover, the information of the original resident cell is stored in the handover cell list storage unit 204.
Step 303: determining that the switching condition corresponding to the target ping-pong switching type is met during the current switching;
in this step, the target ping-pong handover type corresponding to the met ping-pong handover condition, the type of the trigger event, the information of the currently camped cell (i.e. the information of the first cell), and the information of the trigger event cell (i.e. the information of the second cell) are transferred to the ping-pong handover exit unit 203.
Step 304: matching a corresponding ping-pong handover exit mechanism according to the determined target ping-pong handover type, and determining whether the condition of the ping-pong handover exit mechanism corresponding to the target ping-pong handover type is met if the current handover occurs;
if not, the following step 305 is performed, and if so, the following step 306 is performed.
