A method for adjusting the brightness of a display comprises a backlight source, wherein the backlight source comprises a plurality of light-emitting assemblies which are arranged in an array, each light-emitting assembly comprises a1 st light-emitting unit, a 2 nd light-emitting unit, a 3 rd light-emitting unit, … and an Nth light-emitting unit, and N is an integer greater than 1; in one driving period of the backlight, the plurality of 1 st light emitting cells, the plurality of 2 nd light emitting cells, the plurality of 3 rd light emitting cells, …, and the plurality of nth light emitting cells are sequentially driven; the method for adjusting the brightness of the display is characterized by comprising the following steps:
detecting driving information of the plurality of 1 st light emitting cells, the plurality of 2 nd light emitting cells, the plurality of 3 rd light emitting cells, …, the plurality of nth light emitting cells;
judging whether each light-emitting unit fails according to the driving information;
and when the Nth light-emitting unit of one light-emitting component fails, controlling any other light-emitting unit of the light-emitting component to replace the failed Nth light-emitting unit to drive in each driving period of the backlight source.
7. The method for adjusting brightness of a display according to claim 6, further comprising:
and recording the position of the light-emitting component where the Nth light-emitting unit is located on the backlight source.
8. The method according to claim 6, wherein the driving information comprises a driving current and a driving voltage.
9. The method of claim 6, wherein the backlight source is a direct-type backlight source or a side-type backlight source.
10. The method of claim 6, wherein the light emitting unit is a light emitting diode.
