Disclosure of Invention
Problems to be solved by the invention
For reasons such as the commonalization of parts among vehicles having different specifications, there are some cases in which an air-conditioning outlet device (ventilation grill) that does not function as an air supply port is provided in a vehicle having a specification in which an air-conditioning unit that blows air toward the cabin side is not mounted. In this case, if the blades are provided in the housing (grill body) of the ventilation grill, the passenger may misunderstand that the air conditioning unit (the ventilation grill functions as an air outlet) is mounted in the vehicle.
The present disclosure provides a ventilation grille which, when installed in a vehicle of a standard in which an air conditioning unit is not installed, does not cause a passenger to mistakenly recognize that the air conditioning unit is installed, and can effectively and flexibly use a space within the ventilation grille.
Means for solving the problems
The present disclosure is a ventilation grille provided to a vehicle compartment, including a grille main body and a closing plate. The grill body has a 1 st opening end forming a 1 st grill opening on the indoor side and a 2 nd opening end forming a 2 nd grill opening on the outdoor side, and has passages communicating with the indoor side and the outdoor side via the 1 st grill opening and the 2 nd grill opening. The closing plate is held to the grill body at a position closer to the 2 nd open end than the 1 st open end and closes the passage.
According to the above configuration, since the vane is not disposed in the passage of the grill body, the passage of the grill body is closed by the closing plate, and therefore, the passenger does not misunderstand that the air conditioning unit is mounted in the vehicle. Further, since the closing plate closing the passage is held on the 2 nd opening end side of the grill body with respect to the 1 st opening end, the grill body defines a bottomed space opening to the cabin interior side by the closing plate. Therefore, the bottomed space can be used as, for example, a storage box, and the space in the ventilation grille can be effectively and flexibly used.
The grill body may have a guide portion integrally extending from a peripheral edge portion of the 2 nd opening end so as to extend across the 2 nd grill opening, and the guide portion may guide the 2 nd opening end to be inserted into the air-conditioning duct when the air-conditioning duct is connected to the 2 nd opening end. The closing plate integrally has a closing plate main body, a stopper portion, and a plurality of engaging portions, and is shaped to be inserted through the 1 st grill opening in a posture in which the surface of the closing plate main body faces indoors so as to be movable to a predetermined closing plate mounting position in the vicinity of the 2 nd opening end. The stopper is provided on the back side of the closing plate body, and prevents the closing plate from moving to the outside of the chamber from the closing plate mounting position by abutting against the guide. The plurality of engaging portions are provided at the outer edge of the closing plate main body, pass through the passage from the 1 st grille opening through the closing plate and reach the closing plate mounting position to engage with the 2 nd opening end, and prevent the closing plate from moving from the closing plate mounting position to the indoor side through engagement with the 2 nd opening end. The stopper portion abuts against the guide portion, and the plurality of engaging portions have the 2 nd opening ends to be engaged, so that the closing plate is held by the grill body at the closing plate mounting position, and the passage is closed by the closing plate body.
According to the above configuration, the stopper portion provided on the back side of the closing plate body abuts against the guide portion, thereby preventing the closing plate from moving to the outside of the room from the closing plate mounting position, and the engaging portion provided on the outer edge of the closing plate body engages with the 2 nd opening end, thereby preventing the closing plate from moving to the inside of the room from the closing plate mounting position. Therefore, the closing plate is held to the grill body at the closing plate mounting position, and therefore, the closing plate can be reliably prevented from coming off the grill body.
Further, since the predetermined closing plate attachment position of the closing plate in the vicinity of the 2 nd opening end is held by the grille main body, the bottomed space opening to the cabin interior defined by the closing plate can be set to a large extent, and the space in the ventilation grille can be used more effectively and flexibly.
Effects of the invention
According to the present disclosure, in a case where a vehicle of a specification in which an air conditioning unit is not mounted is provided with a ventilation grille, a passenger is not mistakenly notified of the mounting of the air conditioning unit, and a space within the ventilation grille can be effectively and flexibly used.

Detailed Description
An embodiment of the present disclosure is described in detail below with reference to the drawings. IN each of the drawings, arrow FR indicates the front of the vehicle, arrow UP indicates the upper side, and arrow IN indicates the vehicle width direction inner side. In the following description, the front-rear direction means the front-rear direction of the vehicle, and the left-right direction means the left-right direction in a state of facing the front of the vehicle.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, a left and right ventilation grill 3 is mounted on an instrument panel 10 defining a front of a cabin 2 of a vehicle 1. The dash panel 10 is a panel formed of resin and extending laterally across the vehicle cabin 2, and is disposed behind a dash cross member 6 (see fig. 2) extending in the vehicle width direction in front of the vehicle cabin 2, and integrally includes: a rear plate portion 10a erected at a front portion of the vehicle cabin 2; an upper plate portion 10b extending forward from an upper end of the rear plate portion 10a; and left and right side plate portions (only left side surface portions are shown in fig. 1) 10c extending forward from both left and right ends of the rear plate portion 10 a. The rear panel portion (hereinafter simply referred to as an instrument panel) 10a of the instrument panel 10 has: an instrument panel 11 on the driver's seat side (right side in the present embodiment); a glove box 12 on the passenger seat side (left side in the present embodiment); a center plate 13 at a center portion in the vehicle width direction; and side cover portions 14 at both ends in the vehicle width direction. Various meters 17 such as a speedometer and a tachometer are disposed on the meter panel 11. The glove box 12 is a storage box that can accommodate a driver glove or the like therein. The center plate 13 is provided with a plurality of electrical components 15 such as a radio and an operation panel of an air conditioner. A substantially rectangular grill insertion hole 16 is formed in each of the vehicle width direction both sides of the center plate 13, and the grill insertion hole 16 is configured to receive the ventilation grill 3 in a state where the ventilation grill 3 is mounted on the instrument panel 10 (hereinafter referred to as a grill-mounted state). The left and right side cover portions 14 are disposed on the outer sides of the instrument panel 11 and the glove box 12 in the vehicle width direction. Since the left and right ventilation grills 3 are symmetrically disposed on the left and right sides of the instrument panel 10 and have substantially the same configuration, the structure of the left ventilation grill 3 will be described below, and the description on the right side will be omitted.
As shown in fig. 3 to 6, the ventilation grille 3 is a resin ventilation grille 3, and includes a grille main body 4 and a closing plate 5 held by the grille main body 4. The ventilation grille 3 is attached to the instrument panel 10 in a state of being inclined forward and downward in a grille-attached state, and has a bottomed space 7 in an inner region thereof, and can accommodate small articles and the like. Hereinafter, the direction of the ventilation grille 3 will be referred to as the grille-attached state unless otherwise specified.
The grill body 4 has a substantially rectangular cylindrical shape having a 1 st grill opening 20 on the indoor side and a 2 nd grill opening 22 on the outdoor side, and forms a grill passage (channel) 24 that communicates the indoor side and the outdoor side through the 1 st grill opening 20 and the 2 nd grill opening 22. The grill body 4 has a 1 st opening end 21 defining a 1 st grill opening 20, and a 2 nd opening end 23 defining a 2 nd grill opening 22, and is inserted into the grill insertion hole (refer to fig. 2) 16 of the instrument panel 10 from the 2 nd opening end 23 side.
A grill guide 25 is provided on the 2 nd open end 23 side of the grill body 4, and the grill guide 25 integrally extends from the peripheral edge portion of the 2 nd open end 23 so as to extend across the 2 nd grill opening 22, and guides the insertion of the 2 nd open end 23 into an air-conditioning duct when the air-conditioning duct (not shown) is connected to the 2 nd open end 23. The grill guide 25 extends from the peripheral edge portion of the 2 nd opening end 23 of the grill body 4 so as to bulge out to the outdoor side in the up-down direction, and includes: a vertical guide portion (guide portion) 26 connecting an upper end edge and a lower end edge of the 2 nd opening end 23; and a lateral guide portion 27 that extends from the peripheral edge portion of the 2 nd opening end 23 of the grill body 4 so as to extend in the vehicle width direction so as to bulge out to the outside, and connects both edges of the 2 nd opening end 23 in the vehicle width direction.
A body rib 28 extending outward from the outer peripheral surface of the grill body 4 is provided on the 1 st opening end 21 side of the grill body 4. The grill body 4 is inserted into the grill insertion hole 16 of the instrument panel 10 from the side of the 2 nd opening end 23, and the outdoor side of the body rib 28 of the grill body 4 is attached to the instrument panel 10 by abutting against the indoor side of the outer peripheral edge portion of the grill insertion hole 16 of the instrument panel 10.
The grill body 4 of the ventilation grill 3 according to the present embodiment is also used as the grill body 4 of a ventilation grill for a vehicle including an air conditioner (not shown). In the case where the grill body 4 is used for a vehicle including an air conditioner, the grill body 4 is connected to the air conditioning passage of the air conditioner by guiding the insertion of the 2 nd open end 23 into the air conditioning passage by the grill guide 25.
The closing plate 5 integrally has: a closing plate main body 30 which is a flat plate member having substantially the same shape as the 2 nd grill opening 22 of the grill main body 4; left and right vertical rib portions 31 provided on the back surface 30b of the closing plate main body 30 and extending in the vertical direction; upper and lower cross rib portions (stopper portions) 32 provided on the rear surface 30b of the closing plate main body 30 and extending across the vehicle width direction; and a plurality of engagement claws (engagement portions) 33 (in embodiment 4) provided at upper and lower portions 2 on both sides in the vehicle width direction of the outer edge of the closure plate main body 30. The closing plate 5 is inserted through the 1 st grill opening 20 in a posture in which the surface 30a of the closing plate body 30 faces indoors, so as to be movable to a closing plate mounting position in the vicinity of the 2 nd opening end 23. In a state where the closing plate 5 is held by the grill body 4 (hereinafter referred to as a closing plate mounting state), the closing plate 5 is prevented from moving further to the outside than the closing plate mounting position by the abutment of the vertical guide portions 26 with the upper and lower lateral rib portions 32, and the closing plate 5 passes through the grill passage 24 from the 1 st grill opening 20 to the closing plate mounting position, whereby the plurality of engagement claws 33 engage with the 2 nd opening end 23, preventing the closing plate 5 from moving from the closing plate mounting position to the indoor side. The rear surface 30b of the closing plate body 30 and the 2 nd open end 23 of the grill body 4 are arranged on substantially the same plane in the closing plate mounted state.
Next, a case will be described in which the closing plate 5 is to be attached to the grill body 4.
When the closing plate 5 is attached to the grill body 4, the closing plate 5 is inserted into the 1 st grill opening 20 of the grill body 4 in a state where the grill body 4 is attached by inserting the grill body 4 into the grill insertion hole 16 of the instrument panel 10 from the 2 nd opening end 23 side, with the surface 30a of the closing plate body 30 facing indoors. Next, the closing plate 5 is moved to a closing plate mounting position where the back surface 30b of the closing plate body 30 is disposed on the substantially same plane as the end surface of the 2 nd opening end 23. The movement of the closing plate 5 is allowed by the deformation of the peripheral wall of the grill body 4 and the engagement claws 33 of the closing plate 5, and when the closing plate 5 is moved to the closing plate mounting position, the shape of the peripheral wall of the grill body 4 and the engagement claws 33 of the closing plate is restored, and the engagement claws 33 are engaged with the 2 nd opening end 23. The closing plate 5 moved to the closing plate mounting position is prevented from moving further to the outside than the closing plate mounting position by the contact of the surface of the outside of the upper and lower horizontal rib portions 32 with the surface of the inside of the vertical guide portion 26, and is prevented from moving from the closing plate mounting position to the inside by the contact of the surface of the inside of the plurality of engaging claws 33 with the end surface of the 2 nd opening end 23.
In the ventilation grille 3 configured as described above, since the blades are not disposed in the grille passage 24 of the grille main body 4, the grille passage 24 of the grille main body 4 is closed by the closing plate 5, the passenger does not misunderstand that the air conditioning unit is mounted in the vehicle 1. Further, since the closing plate 5 closing the passage is held at the 2 nd opening end 23 side of the grill body 4 instead of the 1 st opening end 21, the bottomed space 7 opening to the indoor side is defined in the grill body 4 by the closing plate 5. Therefore, the bottomed space 7 can be used as a storage box or the like, for example, and the space in the ventilation grille 3 can be effectively and flexibly used.
Further, the lateral rib 32 provided on the rear surface 30b of the closing plate body 30 abuts against the longitudinal guide 26, whereby the closing plate 5 is prevented from moving further to the outside than the closing plate mounting position, and the engaging claw 33 provided on the outer edge of the closing plate body 30 engages with the 2 nd opening end 23, whereby the closing plate 5 is prevented from moving from the closing plate mounting position to the inside. Therefore, the closing plate 5 is held by the grill body 4 at the closing plate mounting position, and therefore the closing plate 5 can be reliably prevented from coming off the grill body 4.
Further, since the closing plate 5 is held by the grill body 4 at a predetermined closing plate mounting position in the vicinity of the 2 nd opening end 23, the bottomed space 7 defined by the closing plate 5 and opening to the indoor side can be set to a large extent, and the space in the ventilation grill 3 can be used more effectively and flexibly.
In the closing plate mounting position, the surface on the indoor side of the engagement claw 33 abuts the end surface of the 2 nd opening end 23, and the surface on the outdoor side of the upper and lower horizontal rib portions 32 abuts the surface on the indoor side of the vertical guide portion 26, whereby the closing plate 5 is held by the grill body 4 in the closing plate mounting position. Therefore, even in a state where the grill body 4 is fixed to the cabin 2, the closing plate 5 can be inserted from the 1 st grill opening (opening on the indoor side) 20 of the grill body 4, and the closing plate 5 can be attached to the grill body 4.
In the present embodiment, the closing plate 5 has a shape having the engaging claw 33 engaged with the 2 nd opening end 23 on the outdoor side of the grill body 4 and the upper and lower horizontal rib portions 32 abutting the vertical guide portions 26, so that it is not necessary to provide a special shape for holding the closing plate 5 on the grill body 4.
In addition, in the present embodiment, the following configuration is exemplified: the upper and lower lateral ribs 32 are in contact with the vertical guide portions 26, and the engaging claws 33 at the upper and lower 2 portions are provided on both sides of the outer edge of the closing plate main body 30 in the vehicle width direction, respectively, to engage with the 2 nd opening ends 23, whereby the closing plate 5 is held to the grill main body 4 at the closing plate mounting position, and the closing plate main body 30 closes the passage, but the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, the following structure is also possible: the left and right longitudinal ribs extending in the up-down direction abut against the lateral guide portions 27, and the closing plate 5 is held by the grill body 4 at the closing plate mounting position by engaging claws at the left and right 2 nd opening ends 23 provided at the upper and lower end edges of the closing plate body 30, respectively, and the grill passages 24 are closed by the closing plate body 30.
The closing plate 5 is held by the grill body 4 at a predetermined closing plate mounting position in the vicinity of the 2 nd opening end 23, but is not limited to this, and may be held by the grill body 4 on the 2 nd opening end 23 side of the 1 st opening end 21 of the grill body 4 to close the passage.
The present disclosure has been described above based on the above embodiments, but the present disclosure is not limited to the above embodiments, and can be appropriately modified without departing from the scope of the present disclosure. That is, other embodiments, examples, operation techniques, and the like, which are made by those skilled in the art based on the present embodiment, are certainly included in the scope of the present disclosure.
