Detailed Description
In order to make the aforementioned objects, features and advantages of the present invention comprehensible, embodiments accompanied with figures are described in further detail below.
Referring to fig. 1, a schematic flowchart of steps of a video playing method according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown, where an interactive video includes a plurality of video segments, and the interactive video is provided with at least one characteristic variable, and the characteristic variable is used to characterize interaction between a user and the interactive video. For each currently played video segment, the method may specifically include the following steps:
step 101, determining whether a currently played video clip comprises an interactive interface; and if so, displaying the interactive interface.
During the playing of the interactive video by the user using the electronic device, the electronic device can be operated to interact with the interactive video to determine the development of stories in the video or to play more contents of the parts which are interested by the user. Electronic devices include, but are not limited to, smart phones, tablets, laptops, palmtops, smart televisions, and the like.
In the embodiment of the invention, a complete interactive video can only have one characteristic variable or can have a plurality of characteristic variables. The value of the characteristic variable can be changed according to the interaction condition of the user and the interactive video in the interactive video playing process. Therefore, the feature variables are used for representing the interaction condition of the user and the interactive video. In the specific implementation, a complete interactive video has several feature variables, and the meaning represented by each feature variable is determined at the time of video shooting. For example, in an interactive video of a show program, there are 100 players, 100 feature variables can be determined when the video is captured, the names of the feature variables may be player numbers, and the values of the feature variables may represent the selection tendencies of the user for the feature variables of the player numbers, that is, the interest level of the user for the players may be represented by the feature variables, generally speaking, the interest level of the user for a certain number of players is greater, and the value of the corresponding feature variable of the number of players is greater. For another example, in a multi-outcome interactive video, there are 2 different outcome segments: the ending section 1 and the ending section 2 can determine a feature variable when the video is shot, the name of the feature variable can be 'ending', the feature variable is related to the ending section of the interactive video, and the value of the feature variable can be used for determining the ending section which is finally played. When the value of the characteristic variable is less than 5, the played ending segment is determined to be an ending segment 1; and when the value of the characteristic variable is more than or equal to 5, determining the played ending segment as an ending segment 2. In addition, the feature variable may be associated with an intermediate scenario segment of the interactive video, in the example of the multi-ending interactive video, when the value of the feature variable is less than 5, the played ending segment is determined to be ending segment 1, and it is preset that when the value of the feature variable is equal to 3, one scenario segment is added before the ending segment 1 is played, and when the value of the feature variable is less than 5 and not equal to 3, ending segment 1 is directly played; to associate part of the scenario and the ending with the feature variables.
In the step 101, the interactive interface is a channel for information interaction between a person and the electronic device, and the electronic device provides information to the user through the interactive interface for the user to read, analyze and judge; and the user inputs information to the electronic equipment through the interactive interface and performs corresponding operation. Specifically, the interactive interface may include a prompt area and a response area, where the prompt area is used to provide information to the user for the user to read, analyze and judge; the answer area is used for receiving user input information, and the input information comprises single or multiple items of selection information or numerical and literal information. And when the video clip currently played is determined to comprise the interactive interface, displaying the interactive interface.
And 102, receiving response operation of the user to the interactive elements in the interactive interface.
In the embodiment of the invention, the interactive element can be a selection box displayed on the interactive interface, and the selection box can be provided with characters, pictures and the like. For example, in an interactive video of a multi-main-line scenario, when a character appears in front of a bifurcation intersection, a prompt area of an interactive interface may show "select next scenario", an answer area of the interactive interface may be provided with a selection frame for displaying a left-going selection frame and a right-going selection frame, and further, a selection frame for continuing watching may be further provided. The response operation may refer to an operation performed by the user on the interactive interface, and may be selection of one interactive element from among multiple interactive elements of the interactive interface, for example, in the above example, the user selects one of the selection boxes, and the selection box may be a selection box that is moved to the left. Specifically, a user can move a pointer in a screen of the electronic equipment to a corresponding selection frame and then determine the selection frame through a determination key; or, when the screen of the electronic device is a touch screen, the user may click the corresponding selection box by a finger or a stylus.
Step 103, judging whether the interactive element corresponding to the response operation is a branch option element; if so, determining a next played video clip according to the interactive element corresponding to the response operation, and updating the current value of the characteristic variable according to a preset rule; and if not, determining the video clip played next according to the current value of the characteristic variable.
In the embodiment of the invention, the interactive elements comprise branch option elements, and the branch option elements can be interactive elements which clearly prompt the development of the next plot. In the example of the interactive video of the multi-main-line scenario, the selection box going left and the selection box going right are both branch option elements, and the user can make clear that the character in the scenario will go left in the next step through the selection box going left, that is, the video clip played next is the video clip going left; similarly, the character in the drama can be definitely moved to the right in the next step through the selection frame moved to the right, namely the video clip played next is the video clip moved to the right; therefore, when the interactive element corresponding to the response operation of the user is the branch option element, the video clip played next is determined according to the interactive element corresponding to the response operation. And simultaneously, updating the current value of the characteristic variable according to a preset rule. The preset rule is associated with the response operation of the user; specifically, the preset rule may be that when the user selects a selection box to go left, the current values of the feature variables are accumulated, for example, accumulation-1; when the user selects the selection box to go to the right, the current values of the feature variables are accumulated, for example, by 1. In this example, the current value of the characteristic variable is updated according to the response operation and the preset rule, and therefore, the tendency of the user selection can be known by acquiring the updated value of the characteristic variable.
In the example of the interactive video of the multi-main-line scenario, the selection box viewed continuously is not a branch option element, because the user cannot directly determine how the character in the scenario develops in the next step through the selection box viewed continuously; in a specific implementation, when the user selects the selection box for continuing to watch, the character in the drama may move to the left or the right in the next step, and there may be a case of turning around. At this time, when the user selects the selection box to continue viewing, how the character in the drama develops next is correlated with the current value of the feature variable. Specifically, when the current value of the characteristic variable is smaller than 2, it may be preset that the video segment played next is a video segment moving left; presetting that when the current value of the characteristic variable is more than or equal to 2 and less than 6, the video clip played next is a video clip moving to the right; presetting that when the current value of the characteristic variable is more than 6, the next played video clip is a video clip with a U-turn; therefore, different plot developments are determined according to the values of different characteristic variables, so that different users or the same user can experience different plots and ending when watching interactive videos for multiple times.
In a specific implementation, the association relationship between the characteristic variables and the video segments and the corresponding operations is defined through a description file, and the description file can be in json or xml format and is stored in a background server. When the method is used, the description file is obtained from the background server and is stored in a local storage, for example, a memory or a disk. json is a JS object numbered musical notation, which is a lightweight data exchange format; xml, a subset of standard generalized markup language, is a markup language for marking electronic documents to be structured; the json and the xml both use a structured method to mark data, so that the script editing difficulty of the description file can be simplified, the difference of data structures/modes between different platforms and different systems can be conveniently solved, and the applicability of the description file is improved.
And 104, playing the video clip played next when the video clip played next starts to play.
In a specific implementation, there is a connection time point between the currently played video segment and the next played video segment, where the connection time point is the ending playing time of the currently played video segment and the starting playing time of the next played video segment. When the playing time of the currently played video clip reaches the connection time point, ending the currently played video clip and playing the next played video clip; thereby ensuring the consistency of interactive video playing. Note that the connection time point may be set at the time of creating a video and may be associated with the current value of the feature variable. The end playing time of the currently playing video segment may be the end time of the currently playing video segment, or may be the first specific time point of the currently playing video segment. For example, the total duration of the currently played video segment is 10 minutes, and the connection time point may be a time point at which the 10 th minute playing of the currently played video segment is finished; or may be the time point when the 8 th minute playing of the currently playing video clip ends, and at this time, the content of the last two minutes part of the currently playing video clip will not be played. It should be noted that the starting playing time of the next played video segment is after receiving the response operation of the user.
Further, in an example, the next playing video segment is played from a particular node of the next playing video segment at a beginning playing time of the next playing video segment. The specific node of the next played video segment may be set at the time of making the video, and may be associated with the current value of the characteristic variable. Specifically, the specific node may be a start time of a next played video segment, or may be a second characteristic time point of the next played video segment. For example, the total duration of the next played video segment is 10 minutes, and when the playing start time of the next played video segment is reached, the next played video segment is played from the 0 th minute of the next played video segment; as another example, the total duration of the next played video segment is 10 minutes, and at the starting playing time of the next played video segment, the next played video segment is played from the 3 rd minute of the next played video segment, and the portion before the 3 rd minute will not be played.
In summary, the embodiment of the present invention provides a video playing method, in which an interaction condition between a user and an interactive video is represented by a feature variable of the interactive video, and for each currently played video clip, whether an interactive interface is included in the currently played video clip is determined, and if yes, the interactive interface is displayed; receiving response operation of a user on an interactive element in an interactive interface, judging whether the interactive element corresponding to the response operation is a branch option element, if so, determining a next played video clip according to the response operation, and updating the current value of the feature variable according to a preset rule; if not, determining the video clip played next according to the current value of the characteristic variable; when the playing start time of the next played video clip is reached, the next played video clip is played, so that the tendency of a user to respond to the interactive interface is obtained according to the value of the characteristic variable, and the corresponding video clip is determined according to the value of the characteristic variable, so that the video content is enriched; in addition, in the process of watching the video by the user, the initiative of the user can be transferred, the watching experience of the user is improved, and meanwhile, the watching value of the video is improved.
Referring to fig. 2, a schematic flowchart illustrating steps of a video playing method according to another embodiment of the present invention is shown, where the method may include:
step 201, obtaining the current value of the characteristic variable.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the currently played video clip starts to play, the current value of the characteristic variable is firstly obtained. Specifically, when the interactive video is played for the first time, the current value of the characteristic variable is obtained, wherein the current value of the characteristic variable is a preset initial value. And when the interactive video is not played for the first time, acquiring the current value of the characteristic variable, wherein the current value of the characteristic variable is the final value of the characteristic variable of the interactive video when the user watches the interactive video for the last time. It should be noted that the first playing means that any segment in the interactive video has not been played before. In an interactive video, the names and the meanings of the characteristic variables of the interactive video are determined whether the interactive video is played for the first time or not. And the value of the characteristic variable is related to the historical playing situation. Therefore, when the interactive video starts to be played, whether the interactive video is played for the first time needs to be judged, if the interactive video is played for the first time, a preset initial value of the characteristic variable is obtained, and the preset initial value is set when the interactive video is manufactured; if the interactive video is not played for the first time, the final value of the feature variable played for the last time is obtained, namely the current value of the feature variable when the user finishes watching the interactive video for the last time.
In an optional embodiment, the interactive video includes a feature variable list, all feature variables of the interactive video are defined in the feature variable list, when the interactive video is played for the first time, the feature variable list is obtained from a background server, each feature variable is assigned with a preset initial value, and then the feature variable list is stored in a local storage of the terminal. The preset initial value of each feature variable is set at the time of video production, is related to the director's personal tendency of the composition of the clip, and the like. In the process of playing the interactive video, the value of the characteristic variable is updated according to a preset rule, and a characteristic variable list in a local storage of the terminal is synchronously updated when the value of the characteristic variable is updated, and the characteristic variable list can also be synchronously updated to a background server. When the interactive video is played again, namely when the interactive video is not played for the first time, the characteristic variable list is obtained from the local storage or the background server, the current value of the characteristic variable is obtained from the characteristic variable list, and at the moment, the current value of the characteristic variable is the final value of the characteristic variable during the last playing. It should be noted that, in an optional embodiment, the preset rule may set the value of the characteristic variable to return to a preset initial value after the interactive video is played; namely, after the last video segment of the interactive video is played, the value of the characteristic variable is updated to a preset initial value. The last video segment may refer to the video segment in the interactive video with the playing time ordered last. For example, in an interactive video of a multi-line scenario, the last video segment is an ending segment of any line scenario.
Step 202, before the display starting time of the interactive interface, judging whether the current value of the characteristic variable meets the display condition of the interactive interface; and the interactive interface is the interactive interface with the display starting time closest to the current playing time.
In the embodiment of the invention, the interactive interface includes a display start time, and the display start time may be a time when the interactive interface starts to be displayed on a screen of the electronic device. The display condition of the interactive interface is associated with the characteristic variable, whether the current value of the characteristic variable meets the display condition of the interactive interface is judged before the display starting time of the interactive interface, and the display condition can be that the interactive interface in the currently played video clip is displayed when the value of the characteristic variable reaches a preset value. For example, in an interactive video, it may be preset that a display condition of an interactive interface of a certain scenario segment is that a value of a feature variable is 2, that is, when the scenario segment starts to be played and before the interactive interface starts to be displayed, if a current value of the feature variable is 2, it is indicated that the interactive interface meets the display condition, and the interactive interface is displayed; otherwise, if the current value of the feature variable is not 2, it indicates that the interactive interface does not meet the display condition, and the interactive interface will not be displayed.
In the prior art, the interactive interface of a video clip is fixed and not related to the interaction condition of a user on the interactive interface of a video clip played in advance. For example, whether a video clip includes an interactive interface is determined at the time of video production, and once it is determined that the video clip includes an interactive interface, the interactive interface is necessarily presented while the video clip is being played. In the embodiment of the invention, the interactive interface of the video clip is associated with the characteristic variable, and the interactive interface is displayed when the video clip is played only when the value of the characteristic variable reaches the preset condition; on the contrary, if the value of the characteristic variable does not reach the preset condition, the interactive interface is not displayed when the video clip is played, so that different viewing experiences are brought to the user.
And 203, if the current value of the characteristic variable meets the display condition of the interactive interface, displaying the interactive interface at the display starting time of the interactive interface.
In the embodiment of the invention, if the interactive video only comprises one characteristic variable, when the current value of the characteristic variable meets the display condition of the interactive interface, and when the playing time of the currently played video clip is at the starting display time of the interactive interface, the interactive interface is displayed. If the interactive video comprises a plurality of characteristic variables, when the current values of all the characteristic variables meet the display condition of the interactive interface, and when the playing time of the currently played video clip is at the display starting time of the interactive interface, the interactive interface is displayed.
In one embodiment, a video clip may include more than two interactive interfaces. The first interactive interface comprises a first starting display time, the second interactive interface comprises a second starting display time, and the first starting display time is before the second starting display time; when the playing time of the currently played video clip is before the first display starting time, judging whether the current value of the characteristic variable meets the first interaction interface display condition; if the current value of the characteristic variable meets the first interactive interface display condition, displaying the first interactive interface when the playing time of the currently played video clip is the first starting display time; if the current value of the characteristic variable does not meet the first interactive interface display condition, the first interactive interface is not displayed, and the playing time of the currently played video clip is between the first display time and the second display time, and whether the current value of the characteristic variable meets the second interactive interface display condition is judged; and if the current value of the characteristic variable meets the display condition of the second interactive interface, displaying the second interactive interface when the playing time of the currently played video clip is at the second display starting time. It should be noted that, in an example, if the first interactive interface meets the display condition and is displayed, it is not determined whether the second interactive interface meets the display condition; it can be understood that in the process of playing a video clip, the response operation of the user to the interactive interface is received at most once, and contradiction and conflict caused by multiple response operations of the user to the same video clip are prevented.
For example, the duration of a currently playing video clip is 10 minutes, wherein a first interactive interface is included when the video clip is played for 3 minutes, and a second interactive interface is included when the video clip is played for 5 minutes; the following situations exist in the interactive interface display condition of the video clip: if the current value of the characteristic variable does not meet the first interaction interface display condition, not displaying the first interaction interface; and judging whether the current value of the characteristic variable meets the display condition of the second interactive interface between the first display starting time and the second display starting time, if not, not displaying the second interactive interface, and if so, displaying the second interactive interface. If the current value of the characteristic variable meets the first interactive interface display condition, displaying the first interactive interface; and whether the characteristic variable meets the display condition of the second interactive interface is not judged, namely, the second interactive interface is not displayed, namely, the second interactive interface is hidden.
Further, in an embodiment of the present invention, before the step of displaying the interactive interface, the method further includes:
judging whether the current value of the characteristic variable meets the display condition of the interactive element or not aiming at each interactive element in the interactive interface; and if so, displaying the interactive element when the interactive interface is displayed.
In this embodiment, when the current value of the feature variable satisfies the display condition of the interactive interface, the interactive element displayed in the interactive interface is further determined according to the current value of the feature variable. The interactive elements may be buttons, text, pictures, etc. for presentation on the interactive interface. For example, in an interactive video, an interactive interface of a certain scenario segment includes three interactive elements, which are option 1, option 2, and option 3, and the display condition of option 1 and option 2 can be preset to have a feature variable value of any value, and the display condition of option 3 is set to have a feature variable value of 3; therefore, when the interactive interface meets the display conditions, whether the values of the characteristic variables meet the display conditions of option 1, option 2 and option 3 is respectively judged, if the values of the characteristic variables are 3 at the moment, the display conditions of option 1, option 2 and option 3 are respectively met, and option 1, option 2 and option 3 can be displayed in the interactive interface; on the contrary, if the value of the feature variable is not 3 and the display condition of option 3 is not met, only option 1 and option 2 are displayed in the interactive interface, and option 3 is not displayed.
For another example, in the aforementioned show program interactive video, the interactive elements in the interactive interface corresponding to the currently played video clip include 100, that is, 100 interactive elements respectively correspond to 100 players; presetting the display condition of each interactive element as the value of the characteristic variable of the corresponding player as the first three; at this time, only three player corresponding interaction elements with the first three arranged values of the characteristic variable are displayed in the interaction interface.
In the prior art, the interactive interface of the video clip is fixed, and specifically, the display content of the interactive interface is fixed, that is, the interactive elements in the interactive interface are fixed. For example, the interactive interface of a video clip contains constant interactive elements during each presentation. In the embodiment of the invention, the interactive elements in the interactive interface of the video clip are associated with the characteristic variables, and the corresponding interactive elements are displayed when the interactive interface is displayed only when the value of the characteristic variables reaches the preset condition; on the contrary, if the value of the characteristic variable does not reach the preset condition, the corresponding interactive element is not displayed when the interactive interface is displayed, so that different viewing experiences are brought to the user, and meanwhile, corresponding selection can be provided according to the selection tendency of the user.
And 204, receiving response operation of the user to the interactive elements in the interactive interface.
The implementation manner of this step may refer to step 102, which is not described herein again in this embodiment of the present invention.
Further, in the embodiment of the present invention, the interactive interface further includes an end display time; the step of receiving the response operation of the user to the interactive element in the interactive interface comprises the following steps:
and receiving response operation of the user to interactive elements in the interactive interface between the starting display time and the ending display time of the interactive interface.
In this embodiment, only within the start display time and the end display time of the interactive interface, the response operation of the user to the interactive element in the interactive interface is an effective response operation. If the user does not execute the operation corresponding to the information provided by the interactive interface within the starting display time and the ending display time of the interactive interface, the response operation of the user to the interactive interface can be considered as null. Specifically, the display duration of the interactive interface may be set by a timer, where the start display time is a timing start point of the timer, the end display time is a timing end point of the timer, and the display duration is a difference between the end display time and the start display time. Further, in an example, if the response operation of the user to the interactive interface is null, it may be preset that the response operation of the user to the first interactive element of the interactive interface is considered; or presetting the response operation of the user for the last interactive element of the interactive interface if the response operation of the user for the interactive interface is null; and so on.
Step 205, determining whether the interactive element corresponding to the response operation is a branch option element; if so, determining a next played video clip according to the interactive element corresponding to the response operation, and updating the current value of the characteristic variable according to a preset rule; and if not, determining the video clip played next according to the current value of the characteristic variable.
The implementation manner of this step may refer to step 103, which is not described herein again in this embodiment of the present invention.
Further, in this embodiment of the present invention, the branch option element corresponds to at least two video clips, and the step of determining a video clip to be played next according to the response operation further includes:
and selecting one video clip from at least two video clips corresponding to the branch option elements as a video clip to be played next according to the current value of the characteristic variable.
In the embodiment of the present invention, when the branch option element corresponds to at least two video segments, it is necessary to determine one video segment from the at least two video segments as a video segment to be played next according to the current value of the characteristic variable.
For example, in the interactive video of the multi-line scenario, the selection box going left and the selection box going right are branch option elements, and the user can make clear that the character in the scenario will go left in the next step through the selection box going left, and the video segments going left at least include a first sub video segment going left and a second sub video segment going left; when the value of the characteristic variable is smaller than 0, the next played video clip is a first left-going sub video clip; presetting that when the value of the characteristic variable is more than or equal to 0 and less than 2, the next played video clip is a second leftward-going sub video clip; similarly, the selection frame which is moved rightwards can be used for defining that the character in the drama moves rightwards in the next step, and the video segments which are moved rightwards at least comprise a first sub video segment which is moved rightwards and a second sub video segment which is moved rightwards; when the value of the characteristic variable is greater than or equal to 2 and less than 4, the video clip played next is a first sub video clip moving to the right; and presetting that when the value of the characteristic variable is more than or equal to 4, the next played video clip is a second rightward-walking sub video clip. Therefore, different plot developments are determined according to the values of different characteristic variables, so that different users or the same user can experience different plots and endings with tendencies when watching interactive videos for multiple times.
And step 206, playing the next played video clip at the starting playing time of the next played video clip.
The implementation manner of this step may refer to step 104, which is not described herein again in this embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 3, a block diagram of a design scheme of a video playing method according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown.
Initializing a player before the interactive video starts to play, then judging whether the interactive video is played for the first time, and if so, acquiring a preset initial value and a description file of a characteristic variable; if the playing is not the first playing, acquiring the current value and the description file of the characteristic variable; then, playing the interactive video; when the video is played for the first time, playing a preset video clip; when the video is not played for the first time, playing the video clip played for the last time so as to play the video according to the tendency of the user to watch the video for the last time; and then, determining whether the currently played video clip comprises an interactive interface, if so, judging whether the interactive interface meets the display condition before the display starting time of the interactive interface, if so, judging whether each interactive element of the interactive interface meets the display condition, if so, displaying the interactive elements meeting the display condition during the display of the interactive interface, otherwise, not displaying the interactive elements not meeting the display condition. And if the interactive interface does not meet the display condition, judging whether the next interactive interface meets the display condition before the display starting time of the next interactive interface. And receiving response operation of a user on an interactive element of the interactive interface within the starting display time and the ending display time of the interactive interface, updating the current value of the characteristic variable according to the response operation and a preset rule, and determining a video clip played next according to the response operation and the current value of the characteristic variable. And playing the next played video clip at the starting playing time of the next played video clip.
