Abstract

The invention provides a keyboard and a key structure thereof. The key structure comprises a lower cover, a fixed plate, a plurality of keys, a soft protective cover and an upper cover. The fixing plate is fixed on the lower cover, the keys are fixed on the fixing plate, the hollow convex structure of the soft protective cover is used for partially covering the key base of the keys, the key supporting shafts of the keys are correspondingly arranged at the opening positions of the soft protective cover, the upper cover is arranged on the sheet main body of the soft protective cover and mutually combined with the lower cover, and the hollow convex structure is positioned in the groove of the upper cover.

Technical Field
The present invention relates to a structure of an input device, and more particularly, to a keyboard with waterproof and dustproof functions.
Background
In the modern society, the use of electronic devices has become an indispensable part of life, and all foods, clothes, live, walk, breed and music are related to electronic devices. In general, consumer electronic devices are configured with a keyboard structure.
Since the electronic device is inseparable from people's life, when the user uses the electronic device, the user may spill the beverage or water onto the surface of the electronic device if careless, and the beverage or water may infiltrate into the electronic device from the gap between the key and the housing, thereby causing the damage of the electronic device. In addition, dust suspended in the air or dirt on the hand may enter from the gap between the key and the housing, which may affect the operation of the electronic device.
Therefore, how to provide a waterproof and dustproof keyboard and a key structure thereof is a technical subject to be solved by the invention.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention mainly aims to provide a waterproof and dustproof keyboard and a key structure thereof.
To achieve the above object, the present invention provides a key structure, which includes a fixing plate, a key base, a key cap and a flexible protective cover, wherein:
the key seat is fixedly arranged on the fixed plate and is provided with a key supporting shaft;
a key cap coupled to the key support shaft;

a sheet-shaped main body for combining with the fixing plate;
the hollow protruding structure is formed on the sheet main body and is used for partially covering the key seat, the top end of the hollow protruding structure is provided with an opening, and the key supporting shaft is correspondingly arranged at the opening position.

The advantages and features of the present invention and methods of accomplishing the same will be understood more readily by reference to the following detailed description of exemplary embodiments and accompanying drawings. This invention may, however, be embodied in different forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the invention to those skilled in the art.
First, please refer to fig. 1A, fig. 1B and fig. 1C, wherein fig. 1A is a three-dimensional exploded view of the keyboard of the present invention; FIG. 1B is an enlarged, partially exploded perspective view of the keyboard of the present invention; fig. 1C is a schematic perspective view of the keyboard of the present invention. The keyboard 1 includes: the device comprises an upper cover 10, a soft protective cover 20, a fixing plate 30, a plurality of keys 40 and a lower cover 50.
Referring to fig. 1B, the fixing plate 30 is fixed on the lower cover 50, the plurality of keys 40 respectively have a key base 41 and a key cap 42 combined with the key base 41, and the key base 41 is fixed on the fixing plate 30. The soft protective cover 20 for waterproof and dustproof is disposed on the fixing plate 30, and the material of the soft protective cover 20 may be rubber or silica gel, so that the soft protective cover 20 has elasticity and can be bent and deformed, and includes: the sheet-like body 21 and the hollow protruding structures 22 formed on the sheet-like body 21, and top ends of the hollow protruding structures 22 respectively have an opening 23. The sheet main body 21 is used for being combined with the fixing plate 30; the hollow protruding structures 22 correspond to the key bases 41 and are used to partially cover the key bases 41; the openings 23 are configured to expose the combined ends of the key base 41 and the key cap 42. The upper cover 10 is disposed on the sheet-shaped body 21 and can be combined with the lower cover 50 into a whole, the upper cover 10 has a through groove 101, and the plurality of hollow protruded structures 22 are disposed in the groove 101. In this embodiment, in order to avoid the mutual interference between the key caps 42 and the upper cover 10, the upper cover 10 is covered on the flexible protective cover 20, the hollow protruding structures 22 are exposed in the grooves 101, and then the key caps 42 are combined with the key bases 41, but in practical applications, if the key caps 42 do not interfere with the upper cover 10, the key caps 42 can be combined with the key bases 41, and then the upper cover 10 is covered on the flexible protective cover 20.
Referring to fig. 2A and fig. 2B together, fig. 2A is a schematic cross-sectional view of the keyboard of fig. 1C along a line a-a; fig. 2B is a partially enlarged perspective view of the key structure of the present invention. In fig. 2A, the key base 41 has a limiting pillar 411 disposed at the bottom end, a stopping structure 412 disposed at the outer peripheral surface of the key base 41, and a key supporting shaft 413 disposed at the top end; the key cap 42 has a skirt structure 422 and a fastening structure 421 located on the lower surface of the key cap 42; the fixing plate 30 has a plurality of fixing holes 301, and the switch circuit board 90 disposed between the lower cover 50 and the fixing plate 30 has a plurality of limiting holes 901 corresponding to the limiting posts 411. The key base 41 is inserted into the fixing hole 301, and is abutted against the surface of the fixing plate 30 by the stop structure 412, and the limit post 411 is inserted into the limit hole 901, so that the key base 41 can correctly correspond to a switch position (not shown) on the switch circuit board 90.
The sheet main body 21 of the soft protection cover 20 is combined on the fixing plate 30, the hollow protrusion structure 22 is used to partially cover the surface of the key base 41, and the key supporting shaft 413 is correspondingly disposed at the position of the opening 23. The key cap 42 is engaged with the key supporting shaft 413 through the engaging structure 421, and can be combined on the key base 41. In the present embodiment, the key 40 is a mechanical key, when the user presses the key cap 42, the key cap 42 pushes the key supporting shaft 413 downward, so that the linkage member (not shown) in the key base 41 moves downward, and the elastic portion (not shown) is driven to drive the switch circuit board 90 to output a corresponding key signal.
The connection between the hollow protrusion 22 and the sheet body 21 has a bending structure 221 corresponding to the shape of the stop structure 412, so that the bending structure 221 can completely cover the stop structure 412. In addition, the hollow protrusion 22 is bent inward at the end of the opening 23 to form an extension 222 extending toward the key cap 42. By the arrangement of the extending portion 222, the skirt structure 422 of the key cap 42 can completely shield the opening 23 of the hollow protrusion structure 22, so as to prevent water drops or dust from entering the opening 23 from a lateral angle, thereby enhancing the waterproof and dustproof effects of the soft protection cover 20.
Compared with the prior art, the keyboard and the key structure thereof provided by the invention can improve the waterproof and dustproof effects by using the soft protective cover; therefore, the present invention is a creation with industrial value.

Claims (14)

1. A key structure comprising:
a fixing plate;
a key base fixed on the fixing plate and having a key supporting shaft;
a key cap combined with the key supporting shaft;
a soft protective cover disposed on the fixing plate, comprising:
a sheet-shaped body for combining the fixing plate; and
a hollow protruding structure formed on the sheet main body and used for partially covering the key base, wherein the top end of the hollow protruding structure is provided with an opening, and the key supporting shaft is correspondingly arranged at the opening position.
2. The key structure of claim 1, wherein the hollow protrusion is bent inward at the open end and forms an extension extending toward the key cap.
3. The key structure of claim 1, wherein the flexible protective cover is made of rubber or silicone.
4. The key structure of claim 1, wherein the key base has at least one stop structure on its outer periphery.
5. The key structure of claim 4, wherein the fixing plate has a fixing hole, the key base is disposed through the fixing hole, and the at least one stopping structure abuts against the surface of the fixing plate.
6. The key structure of claim 4, wherein the hollow protrusion structure and the sheet-like body are connected to each other and have at least one bent structure, and the at least one bent structure is used to cover the at least one stopping structure.
7. A keyboard, comprising:
a lower cover;
a fixing plate fixed on the lower cover;
a plurality of keys, set up on this fixed plate, have respectively:
a key base fixed on the fixing plate and having a key supporting shaft; and
a key cap combined with the key supporting shaft;
a soft protective cover disposed on the fixing plate, comprising:
a sheet-shaped body for combining the fixing plate; and
a plurality of hollow protruding structures formed on the sheet main body, each hollow protruding structure is used for partially covering the key base, the top end of each hollow protruding structure is provided with an opening, and the key supporting shaft is correspondingly arranged at the opening position; and

13. The keyboard of claim 7, further comprising a switch circuit board disposed between the bottom cover and the fixing plate.
14. The keyboard of claim 13, wherein the bottom of the key base has a position-limiting pillar, the switch circuit board has a position-limiting hole corresponding to the position-limiting pillar, and the position-limiting pillar is disposed through the position-limiting hole.
