Under the method, the content required by the user can be quickly searched, the invalid reading time of the user is reduced, and the online reading experience of the user is improved.

1. A method for online browsing of a document, the method comprising:
receiving a target document page returned by the server aiming at the online browsing request, and displaying the target document page on a display interface;
detecting clicking operation of a user for a target keyword in a first page of the target document; the target keyword is determined based on a user search record within a preset time difference from the sending time of the online browsing request;
responding to the clicking operation, and jumping the current display position to the position of the target keyword in the second page of the target document; wherein the second page is located after the first page.

judging whether the second page is an end page of the target document;
