Description

Surface treatment process of golf head
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of metal manufacturing and processing, in particular to a surface treatment process of a golf club head.
Background
After the golf head is manufactured, the surface of the golf head needs to be coated to improve the performance of the golf head. However, in the prior art, either the plating layer has bright color and high surface smoothness but single color, or the plating layer has more color but dull color and luster, and cannot better meet the requirements of users.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention is directed to solving at least one of the problems of the prior art. Therefore, the invention provides a surface treatment process of a golf head, which can lead the color of a coating of the golf head to be bright and can also have more choices of the color of the coating.
According to the surface treatment process of the golf head of the first aspect of the invention, the surface treatment process comprises the following steps: s1, polishing: polishing the surface of the ball head; s2, sand blasting: carrying out sand blasting treatment on the surface of the ball head; s3, electroplating: plating a film on the surface of the ball head in an electroplating mode; s4, PVD coating: and coating the surface of the ball head by a PVD (physical vapor deposition) mode.
The surface treatment process of the golf head according to the embodiment of the invention has at least the following beneficial effects: when the surface treatment is carried out on the golf head, the electroplating treatment is firstly carried out on the golf head, the brightness of the golf head is improved, then the PVD process is used for coating and coloring the golf head according to the requirement, the brightness of the golf head is improved, the color selectivity of the golf head is increased, and the requirements of users can be well met.
According to some embodiments of the present invention, the electroplating process in step S3 includes: (1) degreasing: carrying out thermal degreasing treatment on the ball head, cleaning the ball head, carrying out electrolytic degreasing on the ball head, and cleaning the ball head again; (2) acid washing and activating: activating and derusting the surface of the ball head by acid washing, and cleaning the ball head; (3) electroplating: electroplating the surface of the ball head, and cleaning the ball head; (4) drying: and (5) drying the bulb.
According to some embodiments of the invention, the ball head is demagnetized before being degreased in the step (1), so that the ball head can be prevented from adsorbing impurities due to magnetism.
According to some embodiments of the present invention, the step of cleaning the ball before performing the electrolytic degreasing in step (1) includes clear water cleaning and ultrasonic cleaning.
According to some embodiments of the present invention, the cleaning step after the plating of the ball in step (3) includes clean water cleaning, ultrasonic cleaning, and pure water immersion cleaning.
According to some embodiments of the present invention, the ball is vacuum pumped before performing PVD coating in step S4. The ball head surface can be cleaned to the maximum extent of any impurities in gaps or gaps on the ball head surface, such as fragments or beads, which may cause white spots, coating spalling or other PVD defects.
Additional aspects and advantages of the invention will be set forth in part in the description which follows and, in part, will be obvious from the description, or may be learned by practice of the invention.
