Capacitive touch screen electrodes may be formed from an array of indium tin oxide pads or other transparent conductive structures.

The cover plate 200 may be mounted on the middle frame 300, and the cover plate 200 covers the display screen 100 to protect the display screen 100 from being scratched or damaged by water. The cover 200 may be a transparent glass cover, so that a user can see the contents displayed on the display screen 100 through the cover 200. In some embodiments, the cover plate 200 may be a glass cover plate of sapphire material. It is understood that the electronic device 10 may not include the cover plate 200.
The middle frame 300 may have a thin plate-like or sheet-like structure, or may have a hollow frame structure. The middle frame 300 is used for providing a supporting function for the electronic components or functional assemblies in the electronic device 10, so as to mount the electronic components or functional assemblies in the electronic device 10 together. For example, functional components of the electronic device 10, such as a camera, a receiver, the display screen 100, the circuit board assembly 400, and the battery 500, may be mounted on the middle frame 300 for fixation. In some embodiments, the material of the middle frame 300 may include metal or plastic.
The circuit board assembly 400 may be mounted on the middle frame 300. The circuit board assembly 400 may be a motherboard of the electronic device 10. A ground point is provided on the circuit board assembly 400 to achieve grounding of the circuit board assembly 400. One, two or more of a microphone, a speaker, a receiver, an earphone interface, a Universal Serial Bus (USB) interface, a camera, a distance sensor, an ambient light sensor, a gyroscope, and a processor and a memory may be integrated on the circuit board assembly 400. Meanwhile, the display screen 100 may be electrically connected to the circuit board assembly 400.
In some embodiments, a display control circuit is disposed on the circuit board assembly 400 and outputs electrical signals to the display screen 100 to control the display screen 100 to display information.
The battery 500 may be mounted on the middle frame 300. Meanwhile, the battery 500 is electrically connected to the circuit board assembly 400 to enable the battery 500 to power the electronic device 10. Among other things, the circuit board assembly 400 may have disposed thereon a power management circuit for distributing the voltage provided by the battery 500 to various electronic components in the electronic device 10.
The rear cover 600 is used to form the outer contour of the electronic device 10. The rear cover 600 may be integrally formed. In the forming process of the rear cover 600, a microphone hole, a speaker hole, a receiver hole, an earphone hole, a USB interface hole, a rear camera hole, a fingerprint identification module mounting hole, and the like may be formed on the rear cover 600.
In some embodiments, the rear cover 600 may be a metal housing, such as a metal of magnesium alloy, stainless steel, or the like. It should be noted that the material of the rear cover 600 provided in the embodiment of the present application is not limited to this, and other materials may also be used. For example, the rear cover 600 may be a plastic housing. As another example, the rear cover 600 may be a ceramic case. Also for example, the rear cover 600 may include a plastic part and a metal part, and the rear cover 600 may be a housing structure in which metal and plastic are fitted to each other. Specifically, the metal part may be formed first, for example, a magnesium alloy substrate is formed by injection molding, and then plastic is injected on the magnesium alloy substrate to form a plastic substrate, so as to form a complete housing structure.
It should be noted that, with the development of electronic device technology, people have higher and higher requirements on screen occupation of electronic devices, and the frame of the electronic device is also required to be narrower and narrower while the area occupied by the functional components such as the front camera, the sensor, the receiver, and the receiver on the display surface of the electronic device is required to be reduced, so that a curved screen with no frame and two radians on two sides of the display surface of the electronic device appears. In the curved screen, there is a waterfall screen directly covering the electronic equipment frame, and in the waterfall screen, there is a screen whose curved arc is greater than a quarter of arc, called as a back-off screen. The display screen 100 in the embodiment of the present application is just a kind of "flip-flop screen".

The display screen 100 may have a display side and a non-display side. The display surface of the display screen 100 is a surface that can be viewed from the outside, and the non-display surface of the display screen 100 is a surface that cannot be viewed from the outside. Alternatively, the display surface of the display screen 100 is located on the outer surface of the electronic device 10, and the non-display surface of the display screen 100 is located inside the electronic device 10.
The display screen 100 may include a planar portion 110 and a curved portion 120. The curved surface portion 120 is located on both sides of the planar portion 110 in the width direction, or the curved surface portion 120 extends outward from both side edges of the planar portion 110 in the width direction. It is understood that the "width direction" is a lateral direction of the display screen when the user normally uses the electronic device 10.
The planar portion 110 may have a planar structure, and the curved portion 120 may have a curved structure. The curved surface portion 120 is curved toward the non-display surface of the display screen 100, and the central angle corresponding to the curved surface portion 120 is greater than 90 °. That is, the cross section of the curved surface portion 120 is larger than a quarter of a circular arc.
It should be noted that the structure of the display screen 100 in the embodiment of the present application is not limited to this, and other embodiments are also possible. For example: the plane part 110 may not be a plane structure, but may form a curved surface structure similar to a curved surface screen lcd tv; the central angle of the curved surface portion 120 may also be no greater than 90 °, so that the display screen 100 forms a conventional "waterfall screen" rather than a "flip-up screen".
Referring to fig. 5 and fig. 6, fig. 5 is a schematic structural diagram of a middle frame of an electronic device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, and fig. 6 is a partially enlarged view of a portion B in fig. 5. The middle frame 300 may include a body portion 310 and a mounting portion 320. The mounting portions 320 are located at both sides of the main body portion 310 in the width direction, or the mounting portions 320 are extended outward from both side edges of the main body portion 310 in the width direction. It is understood that the "width direction" is a lateral direction of the display screen when the user normally uses the electronic device 10.
The main body 310 may have a planar structure, and the mounting portion 320 may include a first branch 321 and a second branch 322. The first branch 321 is fixedly connected with the main body 310, in the thickness direction of the middle frame 300, the side surface of the first branch 321 facing the display screen 100 is lower than the side surface of the main body 310 parallel to the display screen 100, and a first step 331 is formed between the first branch 321 and the main body 310; the second portion 322 is fixedly connected to the first portion 321, a side of the second portion 322 facing the display screen 100 is lower than a side of the first portion 321 facing the display screen 100 in a thickness direction of the middle frame 300, and a second step 332 is formed between the second portion 322 and the first portion 321. That is, the main body 310 is thicker than the first division 321, the first division 321 is thicker than the second division 322, and the second division 322, the first division 321, and the main body 310 form a continuous step therebetween. It is understood that the side of the first section 321 facing the display screen 100 and the side of the second section 322 facing the display screen 100 may be parallel to the display screen 100 or not parallel to the display screen 100.
In the present embodiment, the structure of the frame 300 is not limited to this, and other embodiments are possible. For example, if the side surface of the first sub-portion 321 facing the display panel 100 and the side surface of the main body portion 310 parallel to the display panel 100 are parallel to each other in the thickness direction of the middle frame 300 and have the same height, the first step 331 does not exist between the first sub-portion 321 and the main body portion 310, or the first sub-portion 321 and the main body portion 310 are integrally formed, and only the second sub-portion 322 protrudes from the main body portion 310 in the width direction of the middle frame 300.

The filling member 700 may be made of plastic. Compared with the traditional screen assembling mode, when the curved screen with large curvature is assembled on the middle frame, the screen gum is easily scraped by the protruded middle frame. In the embodiment of the application, the installation space of the screen is reserved by arranging the steps through the installation part of the middle frame, and the gap generated by the steps is filled with the filling piece, so that the situation that the screen gum is scraped when the large-curvature curved screen is assembled on the middle frame can be avoided, and the screen assembly effect and the screen assembly efficiency are improved.
