According to an aspect of the present invention, an embodiment of the present invention provides a hard disk testing method, as shown in fig. 1, which may include the steps of: s1, creating a first partition and a second partition in a hard disk; s2, writing a test file in the first partition, and performing an FIO test in the second partition; s3, acquiring an initial verification value of the test file; s4, checking the state information of the hard disk and the interaction information with the system and recording the state information and the interaction information to an execution log; s5, restarting the hard disk for preset times, and re-acquiring the verification value of the test file after each restart and re-recording the check results of the state information of the hard disk and the interaction information with the system in the execution log; and S6, determining the performance of the hard disk according to the comparison result of the verification value of the test file obtained each time and the initial verification value and the detection result.
The method disclosed by the invention can comprehensively and efficiently test the reliability of the hard disk by establishing 2 partitions in the hard disk and continuously carrying out power-on and power-off processing.
In some embodiments, writing a test file in the first partition further comprises:
formatting the first partition into a file system;
mounting the file system into a preset directory;
and writing a test file with a preset size into the first partition mounted to the preset directory.
Specifically, the partition module may be used to divide the hard disk into two partitions with equal capacity, the file system module may format the first partition of each disk into an ext4 file system, the mount module mounts the ext4 file system into an appointed directory, and the file write module writes a 100G large test file into the hard disk in the mount directory.
In some embodiments, performing a FIO test in the second partition further comprises:
and issuing random mixed read-write IO of a preset size database to the second partition by using an FIO tool.
Specifically, a FIO tool in the read-write module may be used to issue a random mixed read-write IO of a small data block to a second partition that has been created by the partition module, for example, a relevant parameter may be BS =4K; QD =128,jobi =1,libeio, rwmixread =50.
It should be noted that when the hard disk is powered off, the FIO test is interrupted, and when the hard disk is powered on again, the FIO test is continued.
In some embodiments, in step S3, the obtained initial verification value of the test file may be an md5 value.
Specifically, md5 of the test file in each disk may be checked in advance by the file checking module, and recorded in the respective sd × md5 file.
In some embodiments, the log records the state information of the hard disk and the interaction information with the system after checking to the execution log, and further includes:
and recording the smart information, the system message information and the BMC log information of the hard disk into an execution log after checking.
Specifically, the hard disk state inspection module may be used to detect smart information of all hard disks to be detected in advance, and record the detection result in the execution log, and the system environment log monitoring module may detect the current system message and bmc log, and also record the detection result in the execution log.
In some embodiments, in step S5, all the phy physical interfaces of the hard disk to be tested may be reset by the ipmitool power cycle, and the hard disk link is powered on and powered off again and identified by the system again.
Specifically, after each re-identification, whether the identification number is unchanged is checked, and the hard disk state checking module and the system environment log monitoring module automatically start to check respective checking items and record execution logs. That is, the hard disk state inspection module inspects smart information of the hard disk, and the system environment log monitoring module will detect current system message and bmc log. And similarly, recording the detection result into an execution log, and if an error occurs, directly recording error and fail in the execution log.
After the log detection is finished, calling the file checking module in the preset process again to check whether md5 of the large file prestored in the first partition is equal to the record before the main process, and recording the checking result into the execution log.
The number of power-on/power-off times of the hard disk can be set according to actual conditions.
In some embodiments, determining the performance of the hard disk according to the comparison result between the verification value and the initial verification value of the test file obtained each time and the detection result, further includes:
and determining the performance of the hard disk according to the same rate of the verification value of the test file obtained each time and the initial verification value and the error rate of the detection result in the execution log.
Specifically, the reliability of the hard disk is judged by detecting whether new error and fail are added in all log records after each test and whether md5 is checked to be pass. The higher the identity rate, the less the error rate indicates the higher the reliability of the hard disk.
The hard disk testing method provided by the invention can be used for testing the reliability of the hard disk through the hard disk link reset by using each module preset in the hard disk as the coverage of the testing point, outputting the testing result through each testing module in each hard disk reset process, finally generating a testing report, recording the execution result of each testing item, and covering the functional testing point efficiently and quickly.
