Background
The steel shot is a spherical particle made of special materials through special heat treatment, and is widely used for descaling and derusting treatment before coating of steel workpieces, and centrifugal shot blasting equipment is often used in the case. The spherical shape and the low hardness make the steel shot not to cause large abrasion to the equipment.
The steel shots are made of molten iron, most of the steel shots are divided into two types, one type is cast steel shots, the process is to melt a raw material into the molten iron by an electric furnace, then the molten iron is cast into water, the molten iron is exploded into steel balls with different sizes after meeting the water, then the steel balls are sieved, cushioned, derusted and packaged, and the other type is cut steel wire shots, namely, steel wires are cut into small sections by a machine, generally, the steel wires are directly sieved and packaged without any treatment, the former method is characterized in that the molten iron is directly poured into the water to generate explosion and generate the steel shots, the size of the steel shots is uncontrollable in the process, the sizes of the steel shots are different, the defects in the sizes are serious, the steel shots produced by the latter method are cylinders in the shape, the steel shots are not regular spheres, and the defects in the shape are serious.
Therefore, the centrifugal rotor which can fly out molten steel in a centrifugal mode, control the diameter of a steel shot, naturally form a spherical steel shot, has a simple process, a simple structure and low cost is designed, and the centrifugal rotor is the problem to be solved by the inventor.
