Description
Technical Field
The invention particularly relates to a mould repairing method.
Background
The extrusion die often cracks during use due to high pressure or insufficient support strength. In production, a repair method of welding cracks is generally adopted for an extrusion die with cracks, namely, the die is repaired by milling grooves and overlaying welding around the cracks of the die. Although the method can repair the crack defect, the strength of the die is greatly reduced and cannot be recovered to the strength of the die when the die is intact, so that the service life and the effect of the die are greatly influenced.
Disclosure of Invention
In order to solve the technical problems, the invention provides a die repairing method, and the die repaired by the repairing method provided by the invention has the advantages that the crack is stable, and the service life of the die is prolonged.
The invention adopts the following technical scheme:
a mould repairing method comprises the following steps:
s1, milling a crack groove along the extending direction of the crack;
s2, milling connecting grooves on two opposite sides of the crack groove;
s3, placing connecting blocks in the two opposite connecting grooves;
s4, filling metal powder in the gap between the connecting block and the connecting groove;
s5, carrying out laser cladding on the metal powder by using a laser to ensure that the connecting block and the inner wall of the connecting groove are fused together;
s6, overlaying welding rods, and filling the crack grooves and the connecting grooves;
and S7, grinding the surfaces of the crack groove and the connecting groove.
Preferably, the method further comprises a rust removal treatment before the step S1, the mold is placed in a rust remover for automatic rust removal, and the residual rust remover is cleaned after the rust removal is finished.
Preferably, in step S1, the width of the milled crack groove is greater than the width of the crack, and the depth of the milled crack groove is greater than the depth of the crack.
Preferably, in step S2, the connecting grooves are perpendicular to the crack grooves, and the connecting grooves on both sides are aligned.
Preferably, in step S2, the depth of the connecting grooves is the same as the depth of the crack grooves, the width of the connecting grooves is adapted to the width of the connecting block, and the total length of the two opposite connecting grooves is adapted to the length of the connecting block.
Preferably, in the step S2, the width and the length of the connecting groove are both 1-2 mm larger than the connecting block.
Preferably, in step S3, the height of the connecting block is 1-2 mm greater than the depth of the connecting groove.
Preferably, in step S7, the surface is polished smooth and flat to a roughness of not less than 0.8 Ra.
The invention has the beneficial effects that: after the groove is milled at the crack and surfacing and filling are carried out, the connecting blocks are additionally arranged on the two sides of the crack and synchronously welded, so that the crack defect can be repaired, and the strength of the crack of the die can be ensured. The die repaired by the repairing method of the invention has the advantages of stable crack and prolonged service life.
Drawings
The accompanying drawings, which are included to provide a further understanding of the invention and are incorporated in and constitute a part of this specification, illustrate embodiments of the invention and together with the description serve to explain the principles of the invention and not to limit the invention. In the drawings:
FIG. 1 is a schematic view showing the occurrence of cracks in a mold;
FIG. 2 is a schematic illustration of milling a crack recess along the crack propagation direction;
FIG. 3 is a schematic view of milling joining grooves on opposite sides of a crack groove;
fig. 4 is a schematic view showing the placement of the connecting block in two opposing connecting grooves.
Detailed Description
The following describes embodiments of the present invention with reference to the drawings.
As shown in fig. 1, a crack 2 is generated in the mold 1; the method for repairing the die comprises the steps of firstly, placing the die 1 with the cracks 2 in a rust remover for automatic rust removal, and cleaning the residual rust remover after the rust removal is finished;
milling a crack groove 3 along the extending direction of the crack 2, as shown in fig. 2; the width of the milled crack groove 3 is larger than that of the crack 2, and the depth of the milled crack groove 3 is larger than that of the crack 2;
as shown in fig. 3, connecting grooves 4 are milled on opposite sides of the crack groove 3; the connecting grooves 4 are vertical to the crack grooves 3, and the connecting grooves 4 on the two sides are on the same straight line; the depth of the connecting grooves 4 is the same as that of the crack grooves 3, the width of each connecting groove 4 is matched with that of the connecting block 5, and the total length of the two opposite connecting grooves 4 is matched with that of the connecting block 5; specifically, the width of the connecting groove 4 is 1-2 mm larger than that of the connecting block 5, and the length of the connecting groove 4 is 1-2 mm larger than that of the connecting block 5;
as shown in fig. 4, the connecting blocks 5 are placed in the two opposite connecting grooves 4; the height of the connecting block 5 is 1-2 mm greater than the depth of the connecting groove 4;
then filling metal powder in the gap between the connecting block 5 and the connecting groove 4; performing laser cladding on the metal powder by using a laser to ensure that the connecting block 5 and the inner wall of the connecting groove 4 are fused together; then, overlaying welding rods, and filling the crack grooves 3 and the connecting grooves 4; finally, polishing the surfaces of the crack groove 3 and the connecting groove 4; and (4) polishing the surface to be smooth and flat until the roughness is not lower than 0.8Ra level.
After the groove is milled at the crack and surfacing and filling are carried out, the connecting blocks are additionally arranged on the two sides of the crack and synchronously welded, so that the crack defect can be repaired, and the strength of the crack of the die can be ensured. The die repaired by the repairing method of the invention has the advantages of stable crack and prolonged service life.
