本申请实施例提供了一种耗电异常提示方法、服务器和终端,用于准确识别应用程序耗电异常,降低应用程序耗电异常的误判率。本申请实施例方法包括:服务器接收终端发送的上报信息,所述上报信息包括所述终端的第一应用程序运行信息和所述终端的第一应用程序耗电量,其中,第一应用程序为所述终端上的任意一个应用程序;所述服务器根据所述上报信息确定所述终端的第一应用程序耗电是否异常;当确定所述终端的第一应用程序耗电异常时,所述服务器向所述终端发送提示信息,所述提示信息指示所述终端的第一应用程序耗电异常;所述运行信息至少包括:前台运行时长,后台运行时长,下载流量,多媒体文件下载格式和多媒体文件下载量中的至少一个。
