This process of not being paged but monitoring pages consumes terminal power, and is particularly unnecessary for low frequency awake terminals.
In a paging scheme of a New Radio (NR) system, a paging mechanism based on packet paging or feedback is introduced to divide a terminal into a plurality of paging groups, and each paging group may be assigned with a different group identifier. Although the frequent paging of part of terminals can be improved by packet paging, because the packet is determined by the network side, if the packet is not proper, some terminals are frequently paged without service and are frequently awakened by mistake.

Wherein, the detecting whether the paging meets the preset condition comprises: whether packet identification information is detected or whether a radio network temporary identification is detected in the PDCCH and whether a mobile user identification of the mobile user is detected in the PDSCH; when the packet identification information or the radio network temporary identification is detected in the PDCCH and the mobile user identification of the terminal is not detected in the PDSCH, determining that paging meets the preset condition, wherein the paging meets the preset condition and indicates that the paging received by the terminal is wrong paging; when the grouping identification information is detected or the wireless network temporary identification is detected in the PDCCH, and the mobile user identification of the terminal is detected in the PDSCH, the paging is determined not to meet the preset condition, and the paging which does not meet the preset condition indicates that the paging received by the terminal is correct paging. The Radio Network Temporary Identity (RNTI) may be a P-RNTI used for identifying transmission of a paging message. The Mobile Subscriber Identity may be a Temporary Mobile Subscriber Identity (TMSI), such as S-TMSI.
In the first implementation manner of this embodiment, when the terminal receives the configuration information sent by the network device, or when the terminal receives a page for the first time, the first counter is started; when the terminal detects a wrong paging, the value of the first counter is increased by one; when the value of the first counter exceeds a first preset threshold, for example, the value of the first counter exceeds 10, sending an indication message to the network device according to the value of the first counter, where the indication message may indicate that the number of times of error paging has exceeded the first preset threshold.
In the second implementation manner of this embodiment, when the terminal receives the configuration information sent by the network device, or when the terminal receives a page for the first time, the second counter and the first timer are started; when the terminal detects a wrong page, the value of the second counter is increased by one; when the first timer times out, the value of the second counter is sent to the network device, that is, the indication information reported in this embodiment includes the value of the second counter.
In the third implementation manner of this embodiment, when the terminal receives the configuration information sent by the network device, or the terminal receives a page for the first time, the third counter and the fourth counter are started, and the second timer is started; when the terminal detects an error paging, the value of the third counter is increased by one; when the terminal detects a correct paging, the value of the fourth counter is increased by one; when the second timer times out, the values of the third counter and the fourth counter are sent to the network device, that is, the indication information reported in this embodiment includes the value of the third counter and the value of the fourth counter.
In the fourth implementation manner of this embodiment, when the terminal receives the configuration information sent by the network device, or when the terminal receives a page for the first time, the fifth counter and the sixth counter are started, and the third timer is started; when the terminal detects a wrong page, the value of the fifth counter is increased by one; when the terminal detects a correct page, the value of the sixth counter is increased by one; when the third timer times out, the values of the fifth counter and the sixth counter are sent to the network device, that is, the indication information reported in this embodiment includes the value of the fifth counter and the value of the sixth counter.
In an embodiment, the method further comprises: the terminal obtains a preset threshold value configured by the network equipment; after determining the ratio of the first number to the second number, the method further comprises: comparing the ratio with the preset threshold value; and when the ratio exceeds the preset threshold value, sending indication information to the network equipment.
In this embodiment, when the third timer times out, the ratio of the value of the fifth counter to the value of the sixth counter is calculated, and whether the ratio exceeds the preset threshold value is determined; and when the ratio exceeds the preset threshold value, sending indication information to the network equipment. And if the numerical value of the fifth counter indicates the wrong paging times, and the numerical value of the sixth counter indicates the correct paging times, the sent indication information indicates the proportion of the wrong paging times to the correct paging times.
Of course, in the embodiment of the present invention, a ratio between the second frequency and the first frequency may be determined, and the ratio is compared with a preset threshold; and when the ratio exceeds the preset threshold value, sending indication information to the network equipment. The ratio here indicates the ratio of the number of correct pages to the number of error pages, i.e. the indication information sent indicates the ratio of the number of correct pages to the number of error pages.
In this embodiment, the sending the indication information to the network device includes: and sending the indication information to the network equipment through signaling.
As an embodiment, a preset bit (which may be at least one bit) in the signaling carries the content of the indication information, and the content may include the number, or the first number and the second number, such as the counter (e.g., the value of the second counter, the values of the third counter and the fourth counter, the values of the fifth counter and the sixth counter, etc.); as another embodiment, a preset bit (which may be a bit for indication) in the signaling indicates the content of the indication information, for example, in the first embodiment, when the value of the first counter exceeds the first preset threshold, the preset bit in the signaling may be set to "1", and the signaling is sent to notify the network device that the number of times of the current error paging of the terminal exceeds the first preset threshold. For another example, in the fourth embodiment, when the ratio of the first number of times to the second number of times exceeds the preset threshold, the preset bit position in the signaling may be set to "1", and the signaling is sent to notify the network device that the ratio of the current error paging to the correct paging exceeds the preset threshold; when the ratio of the first number of times to the second number of times does not exceed the factor and the threshold value, the preset bit position in the signaling is set to be '0', and the signaling is sent to inform the network equipment that the ratio of the current error paging to the correct paging of the terminal does not exceed the preset threshold value.
In this embodiment, before the terminal sends the indication information to the network device, the terminal is in a connected state (connected state) or an inactive state (inactive state); it can be understood that when the terminal is in an idle state (idle state), it needs to first switch from the idle state to a connected state or an inactive state, and then send the indication information to the network device.
By adopting the technical scheme of the embodiment of the invention, the paging data is recorded by the terminal and the indication information is sent to the network equipment, so that the network equipment dynamically adjusts the paging grouping of the terminal, the paging frequency of the paging grouping of the adjusted terminal meets the service use frequency of the terminal, the terminal is prevented from being frequently paged and awakened under the condition of no service, the electric quantity loss of the terminal is greatly reduced, and the use time of the electric quantity of the terminal is prolonged; on the other hand, the downlink data overhead is greatly reduced, and the system resources are saved.
Example two
The embodiment of the invention provides a paging configuration method. Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a paging configuration method according to an embodiment of the present invention; as shown in fig. 2, the method includes:
step 201: the network equipment receives indication information from a terminal, adjusts paging groups of the terminal based on the indication information, and determines group information of the terminal based on the adjusted paging groups.
Step 202: and the network equipment sends the grouping information to the terminal.
In an embodiment, before the network device receives the indication information from the terminal, the method further includes: the network equipment sends configuration information to the terminal; the configuration information is used to adjust paging packets. Wherein the configuration information comprises at least one of the following information: recording the triggering condition of the paging data, the content of the recorded paging data, and the transmission mode of the indication information. The triggering condition for recording the paging data indicates under which condition the terminal records the paging data for adjusting the paging packet; the content of the recorded paging data indicates the content of the paging data recorded by the terminal for adjusting the paging packet (the content may include the type of the recorded paging data and the corresponding content); the sending mode of the indication information indicates a reporting mode of the indication information determined based on the recorded paging data, and the indication information can be sent in a mode of a preset bit in a signaling, for example.
In an optional embodiment of the present invention, when the terminal accesses the network, the network device sends the grouping information and the configuration information to the terminal; the grouping information may include paging group identification information and an applicable range corresponding to the paging group identification information, and the applicable range may be represented by an applicable period and/or an applicable tracking area list (TA list). Wherein the network device may transmit the grouping information and/or the configuration information through a broadcast message or dedicated signaling.
In this embodiment, the network device adjusts the paging packet of the terminal based on the indication information reported by the terminal. Wherein the indication information may characterize: the number of paging errors exceeds one of a first preset threshold, the number of paging errors and/or the ratio of the number of paging errors to the number of paging errors. Based on this, the network device can adjust the paging packet of the terminal based on the indication information.
In an optional embodiment of the present invention, the adjusting the paging packet of the terminal based on the indication information includes: when the network equipment determines that the frequency of paging the terminal is higher than a second preset threshold value and the frequency of paging corresponding to the terminal meeting a preset condition is higher than a third preset threshold value based on the indication information, the network equipment adjusts the terminal from a first paging group to a second paging group; the paging frequency of the second paging packet is lower than the paging frequency of the first paging packet; or, the network device determines, based on the indication information, that the frequency of paging the terminal is higher than a second preset threshold, and determines that the number of times that paging corresponding to the terminal does not meet a preset condition is higher than a fourth preset threshold, and determines that the number of times that paging of other terminals in a third paging group where the terminal is located does not meet the preset condition is lower than a fifth preset threshold, adjusts the terminal from the third paging group to a fourth paging group, and reduces the paging frequency of the third paging group, so that the paging frequency of the third paging group is lower than the paging frequency of the fourth paging group.
As an implementation manner, when the frequency of paging the terminal is higher than a second preset threshold and the number of times that the paging corresponding to the terminal meets the preset condition is higher than a third preset threshold, it indicates that the paging of the first paging group where the terminal is located is more frequent, and the terminal is paged by mistake for multiple times, the network device adjusts the paging group where the terminal is located, and adjusts the terminal to the second paging group with a lower paging frequency.
As another embodiment, when the frequency of paging the terminal is higher than a second preset threshold and the number of times of determining that the paging corresponding to the terminal does not meet the preset condition is higher than a fourth preset threshold, it indicates that the paging of a third paging group where the terminal is located is more frequent, and the terminal is correctly paged for multiple times; at this time, the network device determines whether the other terminal is wrongly paged based on the indication information reported by the other terminal in the third paging group; if the other terminals are wrongly paged for many times, which indicates that more terminals in the third paging group are all terminals with lower service frequency, the network equipment adjusts the terminals to the fourth paging group and reduces the paging frequency of the third paging group, so that the paging frequency of the third paging group meets the requirements of the terminals with lower service frequency; the paging frequency of the fourth paging packet may be the same as the paging frequency of the third paging packet before the adjustment. The paging group adjustment may be performed together with the terminal for another terminal having a large number of times of correct paging in the third paging group, the other terminal and the terminal may be adjusted into the fourth paging group, or the other terminal may be adjusted into another paging group based on the number of times of correct paging of the other terminal.
In this embodiment, the sending, by the network device, the packet information to the terminal includes: the network device may send the grouping information to the terminal through a broadcast message or dedicated signaling.
By adopting the technical scheme of the embodiment of the invention, the paging data is recorded by the terminal and the indication information is sent to the network equipment, so that the network equipment dynamically adjusts the paging grouping of the terminal, the paging frequency of the paging grouping where the adjusted terminal is located meets the service use frequency of the terminal, the terminal is prevented from being frequently paged and frequently awakened under the condition of no service, the electric quantity loss of the terminal is greatly reduced, and the use time of the electric quantity of the terminal is prolonged; on the other hand, the downlink data overhead is greatly reduced, and the system resources are saved.
EXAMPLE III
The embodiment of the invention also provides the terminal. Fig. 3 is a schematic structural diagram of a terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention; as shown in fig. 3, the terminal includes a first communication unit 31 and a recording unit 32; wherein,
the first communication unit 31 is configured to receive configuration information from a network device; the configuration information is used for adjusting paging packets;
the recording unit 32 is configured to record paging data based on the configuration information received by the first communication unit 31;
