Background
With the increasing update of scientific technology, mobile communication technology is also rapidly developed and widely applied. (ii) a The mobile communication technology has been continuously evolved in the last thirty years, future application scenes develop to multi-dimension, and service demand differentiation is also large, such as ultra-fast broadband service with the speed up to 10G, low-delay ultra-reliable service with the end-to-end delay of 1ms, massive connection service with 100 ten thousand connections and the like. The future wireless communication technology is not limited to the communication between people, and a great deal of communication needs exist between objects and between people, such as the internet of things which is developed at a high speed at present. The internet of things fully utilizes a new generation of IT technology in various industries, and then integrates the internet of things with the existing internet to realize the integration of human society and physical systems. On the basis, the human can manage production and life in a more detailed and dynamic mode, achieve an 'intelligent' state, improve the resource utilization rate and the productivity level, and improve the relationship between the human and the nature.
The technology of the Internet of things has the characteristics of low cost, wide coverage, low power, large connection and the like, and can effectively improve the coverage area of the intelligent well lid monitoring system. The Internet of things is wide in application and extends to multiple fields of intelligent transportation, environment protection, government work, public safety, safe home, intelligent fire fighting, industrial monitoring, environment monitoring, street lamp lighting management and control, landscape lighting management and control, building lighting management and control, square lighting management and control, old people nursing, personal health, flower cultivation, water system monitoring, food traceability, enemy investigation, information collection and the like.
In the existing third Generation Partnership Project (3 GPP) protocol, when a network side calls a certain terminal, content of a paging message sent down includes a unique user identity (UE identity, hereinafter referred to as UE ID) of each terminal, and the terminal analyzes the UE ID in each paging message by monitoring a corresponding paging block to identify whether the paging is a self-paging, and the UE can only identify its paging and cannot determine a service type corresponding to the paging.
Based on the existing manner, when a network side pages a plurality of terminals having a certain common attribute, it is necessary to search a corresponding paging area for each terminal, and then send a paging message to all nodes in this area for each terminal, carrying a UE ID corresponding to the terminal, such as an International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI), a Temporary Identity (TMSI), and other identities, and after receiving the UE ID, the nodes send the paging message one by one. When there are many terminals of such services, for example, under the condition of mass link of the internet of things, the number of terminals to be paged is very large, and thus the flow of the paging message that must be issued by the network side is also very large, which not only causes the increase of power consumption of the base station, the consumption of air interface resources, but also may cause the problems of congestion of the paging message.

Detailed Description
The present invention will be described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and examples. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and are not intended to limit the invention.
The embodiment of the invention describes a paging method, network side equipment and a terminal, wherein the network side equipment can be a network element positioned at one side of an access network or a core network, the terminal can be a mobile terminal, a fixed terminal or various types of sensors, and the network side equipment and the terminal form communication connection so as to realize data interaction between the network side equipment and the terminal.
Based on the above-mentioned network side device and terminal, the following embodiments are proposed
First embodiment
A first embodiment of the present invention provides a paging method, and fig. 1 is a flowchart of the first embodiment of the paging method of the present invention, as shown in fig. 1, the flowchart includes:
step 101: the network side carries out customized paging information configuration on at least one terminal.
Here, the customized paging information includes at least one of the following information: customized service type information and customized grouping information; the customized service type information is used for indicating the service type of the corresponding terminal, and the customized grouping information is used for indicating the group where the corresponding terminal is located.
In practical implementation, the customized service types can be set according to situations, and in one implementation manner of the customized service types, the customized service type content needs to be standardized, especially the services related to multiple operators, such as roaming services, and the like, and for different service types, the strategies adopted by the terminal are different, even the access resources are different, so that the strategies need to be unified depending on standards; for example, on a global scale, collecting certain performance data information for a certain train type of general-purpose car, this requirement must be fulfilled across operators.
In another implementation of the customized service type, the customized service type may also include some non-standardized content, especially to support a vertical industry, such as in a car networking, a type may be used to identify a car company, an ID of a vehicle may be used as a basis for identifying a specific vehicle, and a group ID may be used as a basis for identifying vehicles in the same batch, and at this time, the customized service type may be customized by the same operator.
In practical implementation, in order to determine the customized grouping information, terminals having a certain common attribute may be grouped into one group, and the customized grouping information is determined based on the group; for example, all sensors on the same car are considered as the same set of terminals.
In this step, the configuring, by the network side, the customized paging information for each terminal may include: the network side configures customized paging information for the corresponding terminal through a signaling mode or a pre-configuration mode; that is, the network side may send a customized paging information configuration signaling to the terminal, so as to implement configuration of the customized paging information for the terminal in a signaling manner; the network side can also pre-configure the customized paging information of the terminal.
In practical applications, the operator or the service provider may configure the terminal with customized information according to a certain specific attribute, where the specific attribute is not limited, for example, the specific attribute may include at least one of the following: type of service, location, etc.
Fig. 2 is a signaling flow diagram illustrating configuration of customized paging information of a terminal in a signaling manner according to an embodiment of the present invention, where as shown in fig. 2, after the terminal sends a random access request to a network side, the network side sends, to the terminal, acknowledgement information indicating completion of random access; at this time, the process of the terminal initially accessing the network is completed; after the terminal initially accesses the network, the network side may issue a signaling for configuring the customized paging information of the terminal to the terminal through an ATTACH (ATTACH) procedure, and specifically, after the terminal sends an ATTACH request (ATTACH request) to the network side, the network side sends an ATTACH access (ATTACH Accept) message to the terminal, where the ATTACH access (ATTACH Accept) message carries the customized information configuration signaling, and the customized information configuration signaling is a signaling for configuring the customized paging information of the terminal.
Further, after the network side sends a configuration signaling for configuring the customized paging information of the terminal to the terminal, the terminal configures the customized paging information of itself based on the configuration signaling. For example, the terminal-configured customized paging information of itself may include one of: the service type of the terminal, and the group in which the terminal is located.
Step 102: when the network side needs to send the customized paging information, one or more customized paging messages are sent to the terminal side, and each customized paging message carries the customized paging information to be sent.
That is, in the paging message structure, an optional customized message is newly added, and the customized message is a structure, and contains multidimensional information, at least one of the following: service type information, group number information, etc.
In practical implementation, when a network side needs to page a group of terminals having a certain common attribute, the network side can send classification information determined by customized paging information according to needs, and send a common customized paging message to each class of terminals; the customized paging message carries customized paging information.
In one implementation of the customized paging message, the customized paging message does not carry the identification information of the terminal, such as the UE ID, and at this time, it is no longer necessary to send the customized paging message carrying the identification information of the terminal to each such terminal; at this time, the network side may also provide a paging policy flexibly, such as: specifically, all terminals of a certain service type are paged, or all terminals of a certain group under a certain service type are paged, as described below.
Here, when the customized paging information includes only the customized service type information, it indicates that all terminals configured with the customized service type in the network coverage area need to be paged; the customized service type information can be a type parameter or service description information; for example, after a large community installs and configures the internet of things related to living service facilities, people do not need to be dispatched every month and every family does not need to record the data of the water, electricity and coal one by one, and only a customized paging message is sent to the terminals through a network side, wherein the customized paging message is the use data of the water, electricity and gas to be reported, and further, the customized service types can be further subdivided, for example, the customized service types are total electricity reported by an electric meter, average electricity reported by the electric meter or valley electricity reported by the electric meter; the terminal acquires the customized paging information after receiving the customized paging information, matches the customized paging information with the customized paging information locally stored by the terminal, judges whether the customized paging information needs to be responded according to a matching result, and directly reports corresponding data through paging response if the customized paging information needs to be responded.
When the customized paging information only comprises the customized grouping information, the situation that paging needs to be initiated to all terminals configured with the customized grouping information is shown; in this case, the service type of the terminal is not limited, and the service type of the terminal receiving the paging may be the same customized service type or different customized service types; for example, taking the performance monitoring of an unmanned vehicle as an example, a network side may request all components with wireless sensors on a certain vehicle to report current data, and may use all wireless sensors on the vehicle as a group of terminals, and the network side may initiate a customized service paging to the group of terminals to obtain the real-time performance data of the vehicle.
When the customized paging information comprises customized service type information and customized grouping information, the situation that all terminals in a certain customized group of a certain customized service type need to be paged is indicated; therefore, when the distribution range of the paging objects is large or is relatively dispersed, the paging target range can be narrowed to a group of terminal objects with certain commonality, so that the phenomenon of storm of access request can be effectively prevented; also taking the internet of things related to the living service facilities as an example, if the deployment is performed in the whole city range, in order to prevent the situation that the instant access request message is excessive, the terminal objects of the service type can be grouped again by some commonality (i.e. the grouping of the terminals is performed by customizing grouping information), for example, according to the district/street/cell/building, etc. The specific grouping mode is determined by an operator and/or a service provider, and customized service paging is initiated to the terminal in batches, so that the condition of access congestion can be avoided.
In this step, when the customized paging message does not carry the identification information of the terminal, the customized paging message may be sent in the following two ways.
The first mode is as follows: the network side sends one or more customized paging messages on all paging blocks of each paging cycle; in order to solve the problem of access congestion of unified paging, time dimension isolation can be adopted to send paging messages batch by batch; that is, all paging blocks of each paging cycle are divided into N batches of paging blocks, and the customized paging message is sent N times in the time dimension, where N is greater than 1; and using the paging block of the ith batch when the customized paging message is sent for the ith time, wherein i is 1 to N.
The second mode is as follows: the network side sends one or more customized paging messages on a common paging channel or a common paging block, and the access congestion problem can be solved by combining a grouping mode.
When the customized paging message is sent in the first mode, the paging message block monitored by the terminal is in the following mode: and determining a paging block to which the terminal belongs according to the identification information of the terminal, and monitoring a paging message on the determined paging block by the terminal.
It should be noted that, when the customized paging message is sent in the first manner, if the core network side finds that the paging fails, the customized paging message may be sent to the terminal side in a conventional manner.
When the customized paging message is sent in a second mode, a network side sends monitoring indication information to a terminal side before sending the customized paging message on a public paging channel or a public paging block, wherein the monitoring indication information is used for indicating a corresponding terminal to monitor the public paging channel or the public paging block; that is, the terminal needs to increase listening to the common paging channel or the common paging block.
In another implementation manner of the customized paging message, the customized paging message also carries identification information of one terminal, and at this time, when the customized paging message includes both the customized paging information and the identification information of one terminal, the network side informs a specific terminal that only one specified customized service data needs to be reported; in this case, only the terminal corresponding to the identification information carried in the customized paging message can receive and respond to the customized paging message, and after receiving the customized paging message, other terminals may find that the terminal is configured with the customized service type, but the received identification information of each terminal is not consistent with the identification information of the terminal, so the terminal does not respond to the received customized paging message.
In addition, when paging is combined, the customized service type information also needs to be considered, and if some terminals need to report data of the same customized service type, the method can be realized by a mode of the customized service type information + the identification information list. For the customized paging and the non-customized paging initiated by the network side, combined paging cannot be performed even if the same paging block is used.
It can be seen that, in the embodiment of the present invention, based on the customized service type information and the identification information of the terminal, paging of a standard large-class or customized service can be performed on a certain terminal; based on the customized service type information and the customized grouping information, the group user can be paged by the customized service.
It should be noted that, when the network side determines that it needs to send the non-customized paging information, it may initiate paging according to a conventional paging manner.
Step 103: the terminal monitors the paging message, and responds to the received customized paging message when the customized paging message is received and the customized paging message carried by the received customized paging message is consistent with the customized paging message of the terminal;
or the terminal monitors the paging message, and responds to the received customized paging message when the customized paging message is received, the customized paging message carried by the customized paging message is consistent with the customized paging message of the terminal, and the customized paging message carries the identification information of the terminal.
Here, the terminal may listen to the paging message on the paging block to which the terminal belongs; or, after receiving the monitoring indication information sent by the network side and used for indicating the terminal to monitor the common paging channel or the common paging block, the terminal monitors the paging message on the common paging channel or the common paging block.
Here, when the terminal determines that the customized paging information carried by the received customized paging message is inconsistent with the customized paging information of the terminal, no response is made.
Here, when the customized paging information carried by the customized paging message received by the terminal is inconsistent with the customized paging information of the terminal itself, or the customized paging message does not carry the identification information of the terminal, no response is made.
Here, the responding to the received customized paging message includes: and the terminal reports the acquired service data. For example, when the customized paging information only includes customized service type information and the customized service type is electric quantity, the terminal may report electric quantity usage data; when the customized paging information only comprises customized grouping information and all sensors on the automobile are classified into a group of terminals based on the customized grouping information, the sensors on the automobile can report the acquired service data.
That is, after the terminal receives the customized paging message, the customized paging message in the customized paging message can be analyzed to determine whether the terminal has the customized service type of the terminal; and if the terminal finds that the service type in the customized paging message is the customized service type of the terminal, the terminal responds to the customized paging message.
It should be noted that, when a certain terminal has multiple customized service types, the network side only needs the terminal to report service data corresponding to one customized service type.
In addition, with the multi-dimensional development trend of application scenes, service demand differentiation is gradually shown, such as an extremely-fast broadband service, a low-delay ultra-reliable service, a mass connection service and the like; the protocol standard gradually starts to induce and divide the resources, and the network side informs the terminal of the use conditions of the access resources of different services through the wireless resource access information of the system message; if the paging message carries the specific service type information, the terminal can access the network by using the corresponding wireless access resource, and the network side can directly allocate the wireless resource;
fig. 3 is a signaling flowchart of allocating a radio resource to a terminal according to a service type in an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 3, a network side may issue a System Information Block (SIB) to the terminal, and the SIB may carry radio resources corresponding to different services, such as a radio resource corresponding to an ultra-fast broadband service, a radio resource corresponding to a low-latency ultra-reliable service, and a radio resource corresponding to a mass connection service; after the network side issues the SIB to the terminal, the network side can send the service mode to the terminal; a terminal initiates a random access request to a network side according to a received service mode, where the random access request carries a radio resource corresponding to a corresponding service, for example, the radio resource may be a Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) resource; after the random access is completed, the wireless resource used by the terminal for receiving the corresponding service is determined.
Based on the signaling flow for allocating wireless resources to the terminal, further, the customized paging message sent by the network side to the terminal side also carries a service mode of the terminal access network, and the service mode of the terminal access network is an extremely-high-speed broadband service mode, a low-delay ultra-reliable service mode or a massive connection service mode;
accordingly, after the terminal receives the customized paging message, the terminal may determine the radio access resource used when accessing the network based on the service mode of the terminal accessing the network carried by the customized paging message, and access the network using the determined radio access resource.
The paging method of the first embodiment of the present invention can reduce the empty paging flow, reduce the signaling interaction between the terminal and the network side, reduce the energy consumption between the terminal and the network side, and implement the customized service flow.
In addition, in the prior art, after receiving the page, the terminal does not know what service is, and only after accessing, the network side notifies the terminal of specific services through subsequent interaction, such as data query and the like; accordingly, in the first embodiment of the present invention, the terminal can determine the service to be performed through paging, and can perform a customized process to reduce interaction with the network side.
Second embodiment
In order to further embody the object of the present invention, the first embodiment of the present invention is further illustrated.
In the second embodiment of the present invention, the customized paging information only includes customized service type information, and a network node on the network side, such as an evolved node b (eNodeB, eNB), constructs a customized paging message carrying the customized paging information and transmits the customized paging message in all paging blocks of each paging cycle, where the customized paging message can be transmitted in batches on all paging blocks by performing time dimension isolation. the control module judges whether a customized paging message exists or not; the customized paging message source can be set through a network side background page, the control module judges whether the message needing paging is the customized paging message according to the setting result and sends the judgment result to the judgment module.
If the paging message is a customized paging message, the judgment module determines the content of the customized paging message according to the background parameter setting content and performs unified paging; if the paging message is not a customized paging message, the paging is performed using conventional means. At this time, the determining module may construct the content of the paging message to be sent.
The first implementation module confirms the paging block which sends the paging message according to the content of the paging message, and sends the paging message on the corresponding paging block.
Exemplarily, fig. 14 is a schematic view of a processing flow of a decision module according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 14, the processing flow includes:
the judging module firstly judges whether the paging message is a customized paging message, if not, the content of the paging message is constructed by adopting the traditional UE ID information, and at the moment, the optional field of the customized paging message is not required to be added;
if the paging message is a customized paging message, determining parameter information carried in the customized paging message; specifically, if the paging message only includes the customized service type information, adding a customized paging message field in the paging message, wherein the added field only includes the customized service type information and does not include the UE ID field information; if the paging message only contains the customized grouping information, the paging message needs to be added with a customized paging message field, and the added field only contains the customized grouping information and does not contain the ID field information of the UE; if the paging message is a customized service aiming at a certain group, the paging message needs to be added with a customized paging message field, and the field needs to simultaneously contain customized service type information and customized grouping information and does not contain UE ID field information; if the paging message is one of the customized services for a certain terminal, the paging message needs to add a customized paging message field, and the added field needs to contain customized service type information and also needs UE ID field information;

Step 1502: judging whether the customized paging message carries UE ID information, if so, calculating a paging block according to the UE ID, and putting the paging message into a corresponding paging block waiting sending queue; if not, judging whether the network side is configured with the public paging resource, if so, executing the step 1503; if the common paging resource is not configured, the paging message is sent on all paging blocks within the paging cycle. The network side can use a time dimension isolation sending mode, so that the problem of access request congestion caused by unified paging is solved conveniently. For example, the network side has 35 paging blocks per paging cycle, and the number of paging target terminals is hundreds or thousands. The network side sends the same paging message with the same content on the 35 paging blocks in batches by setting a timer, and the terminal can receive the paging message by monitoring the respective corresponding paging block. When the number of the paging object terminals is large, the repetition of the empty messages can be greatly reduced by adopting the method. In addition, if the core network finds that the paging fails or fails after the second paging, the paging can be performed for a single terminal in a traditional manner.
Step 1503: and sending the paging message through the configured common paging resource.
